3961  Economy / Economics / Re: EFCC launches app for online reporting of economic crimes called "Eagle Eye" on: July 19, 2021, 08:03:20 AM
Not like any reports of corruption will do any good neither. I am not living in Nigeria so I do not know their situation, however in my nation literally from the president to bottom everyone did a whole crime and nobody did anything about it.

Take USA for example, we all seen Trump rallying thousands of people to Capitol building and storm in, a cop and an attacker died, and nothing else happened... literally nobody got any criminal charge, if you ask me we should have seen Trump, few senators and a lot of congressmen to end up in jail let alone not be able to do their jobs but they still do their jobs, and there are tens of millions of people supporting them for it. So assuming we have seen people end up reporting corruption, if nobody does anything about it then how could we end up actually helping anyone by simply reporting it? It becomes useless.
3962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to buy some low cap coins on: July 19, 2021, 06:54:29 AM
I wouldn't really believe that there is just one that we can name, it is just not enough and that is why I honestly believe that we should be focusing on more about what "our" preference is and not about what others are saying.

Look at the top 10 at the OP's message for example, there is literally just ONE token in that all of top 10 list that I would agree with (not like I disagree with others being good, just not in my top 10) whereas he would probably disagree with mine, so how can we say that there is one true top 10? Obviously until it really happens we are not going to be able to do anything but to agree to disagree, and when they all go up, we will see which ones are better and that will be the key to understanding who was right and who was wrong. A top 10 without swipe token is not something I can agree for example, but people may dislike swipe, how can we really come to an agreement.
3963  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Million Dollar Race II - UFC Betting Partner - Play Smarter 🥊 on: July 17, 2021, 10:14:33 AM
Would we be able to depend on gambling? Clearly not. At that point the terms "gambling responsibly" turn out necessary to maintain. For me, I possibly perform betting when have additional money or getting monthly reward bonus from stake. Stake.com major name in gambling industry, their approach to gamblers extremely notable thus I'm happy with stake.
I never agreed with that "gambling responsibly" thing that casinos do, they should not be forced to do that. All that "if I ask my account to be banned then ban me from keep gambling" things are just a weird way to say "there is this guy who will make your company a profit, do not profit from him" to a business. Do we ban fat people to buy cakes? Do we ban lung cancer people from buying smokes? Do we ban liver problem people from buying beer?

These are all things that will kill you let alone destroy your finances, we do not ban things to people who will DIE, literally death is the topic, and for some reason we force casinos to not take MONEY from people, that is how big the difference is, death is ok but money is a big no no? I just don't get it. To me, if there is a person who can't control themselves and lose everything they own to a casino, why is that a casinos fault?
3964  Economy / Economics / Re: Does studying Economics in School make one to be economical or what on: July 17, 2021, 06:58:19 AM
Well, obviously you would be better than most regular people who didn't study. Just like in life, in these type of "what should I study?" type of situations there are people who didn't study and still better than many other people who studied economics, and there are people who studied economics and still fail to understand and just go do some other business.

However these are just one part of it, normally the average economics student is better than a regular citizen who didn't study it. Which is why I personally believe that there is a good amount of chance you would understand how to do it. That is definitely something that you should check out only if you really want to, there is nothing that should be interesting about it if you are not really wanting it, and if you wanted it then you wouldn't really ask about it neither.
3965  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Follows Ethereum? on: July 16, 2021, 08:10:49 PM
I 100% believe that ethereum follows bitcoin instead. People do not realize that whenever something major happens it is usually bitcoin that goes up first and then we see every altcoin moving accordingly, doesn't matter if it is ethereum doesn't matter if it is 12432421th marketcap coin, ALL altcoins go together whenever bitcoin moves.

This is why ETH is not different from any other coin. Obviously we are talking about something that is as cool as it gets because ETH is getting so much better that people are talking about ETH fighting against bitcoin itself, that is why I honestly believe that this is a good thing, since ethereum is second that means if we see eth and btc fighting each other that is only something good for all of crypto. At the end of the day, we need to applaud any try to beat bitcoin since if we see them all get better that is all the better for us.
3966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are swaps/AMMs used for anything besides exchanging tokens? on: July 16, 2021, 06:49:31 PM
Sort of? I mean there are farming and pools there as well which you can use like a passive income if you want to, but that is basically about it, there isn't really anything that makes it any better, it is just a stuck thing where it can't move too much.

Why do you think places like Cake ends up doing like competitions, NFT's and all the other innovations with the millions of dollars costs? Is that because they love innovation and they want to improve the crypto world for the better? Of course not, they are doing it because they want to stay relevant, they want people to keep using their product and have a reason to buy more, otherwise if they stay the same then they are going to end up with people getting out and less people getting in and the price of Cake will fall big time. That is just how the world works in crypto, you have to keep improving, look at ETH and BNB and how much they improved.
3967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China says no to miners mean something else on: July 16, 2021, 03:14:40 PM
What do you guys think about this? I have friend in China and they told me that their government don't want people to mine any more even if you decide to pay them 10% of your mining reward or pay more electricity bill, their plan is no more miners in the country, what do you think is going on here?

My own reply is the government don't want self made millionaires, they want more workers for the government and crypto mining isn't making that happen, am I wrong?
that is the big reason also why government of China strictly implement a total banned of crypto mining in there country. Taxation are basically the main problem why they can not pursue to deal with it because digital currency are illegal and they know its a treat to there economy/fiat in the future.
When you can't charge taxes for something that you can't see but know it is there, the best course of action is to ban it for many people. However what I would advice would be to let it, sure people would be deregulated and you are not getting taxes from them, which is unfair to everyone else that pays taxes but at the end of the day why would you not want your people to have more money?

Think about it, Chinese miners spend money in china, they are Chinese and live in china, so when they get rich, they spend that back into their country, and Chinese miners hire Chinese workers as well, and they spend their costs such as energy and all in china as well, compared to all of this, where do they get their money? Mainly from other nations, because they get bitcoin from mining and then go out there and use exchanges to sell their bitcoin and get dollars. So Chinese government is an idiot for thinking this is a good idea to ban it.
3968  Economy / Economics / Re: How to Start A Cryptocurrency Exchange Step-by-Step on: July 16, 2021, 08:04:51 AM
Have money, and lots of it. Yes that is the only thing required, I have witnessed 3 exchanges from not being there, just a concept, to a point where they are making millions of dollars per month, one was so early on that it was 2014 and it was the first ever local exchange in my entire nation, they say it started in 2013 but it wasn't the same, it was really 2014 that it first properly started, in 2013 it was like you send them money and they send you crypto, in 2014 it became real exchange.

So, I have been around exchange owners or staff for nearly a decade soon, so I know what I am talking about. I have seen people who have no idea how crypto works, and just simply have so much money that they invested 8 million dollars into some other guy who knows about this stuff to make it happen, I am not saying it is that simple for everyone, but when you are super rich, you could just hire someone as general manager and let them handle all the rest.
3969  Economy / Economics / Re: Only young and naive guy believe in high risk high return on: July 16, 2021, 07:21:31 AM
It is understandable that when you are 20 years old, you could put in 50-100 bucks and try to go for that 100x profit, or read the 100 dollar startup and try to make the same thing, or hope that you will one day work for yourself and have your own business and hire people and get rich. Those type of big dreams usually happen when you are younger, because when you become 30+ years old like me, all you want is stability in life, for example I have a great job right now, and I am willing to work like this for 30 more years and then retire as an old man and just relax, that is a valid thing for me, I am not after huge sums of money anymore like I used to.

Nowadays my "get rich" dreams usually involve a lot smaller stuff that requires me not working, for example get enough money to retire now and go to a sea side place and simply read, watch netflix, swim and repeat that until I die, not own a billion dollar worth business.
3970  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Tips for Trading from Beginner, For Beginners. on: July 16, 2021, 06:41:06 AM
I would like to  congratulate OP if he really follows these and he has been around for just 30 days. These are of course basics and there are many other stuff that you should be careful about but it is still awesome that he managed to get all of this in just 30 days, I know people who trader for years and still have no idea what they are doing.

At the end of the day, what is important is to make profit by doing the right things, because if you make a profit purely from getting lucky then it means that you are not going to get lucky forever, but if you make a profit based on true stuff then we are talking about something a lot more sustainable.

It is not easy to keep making profit after profit for that long, but it is definitely something that everyone should follow without changing their ways (unless they made a mistake) just because they had a loss, keep following your rules even in a loss.
3971  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to do a defensive trading strategy? on: July 16, 2021, 06:11:18 AM
I would say it is mainly about stop loss I assume. When you have a stop loss it is hard to lose too much when the price goes down because you are already prepared for a big drop, that is what I think will happen. I am not saying that stop loss is the only way to trade, there are people who are long term like me and they do not make a trade with stop loss ready there in case the price drops.

I just do whatever I want and then I end up holding things for very long term. Which is why I think it is quite understandable that we should not be really getting into crypto in the sense that there is one correct way to trade, do it however you want and as long as you are happy with the results that means you are doing the right thing. What I really can't stress enough how important is that defensive means that you will have to be quick to find the bottom after stop loss is hit, that is very crucial.
3972  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will be the lowest price of bitcoin from June to December 2021 on: July 15, 2021, 09:07:20 PM
Everyone jokes about how nobody knows what price will be, however we can at least assume something right? I am not saying that it will happen that way but it is definitely looking like we could assume price going up, or you could just assume it may go down as well it is all up to you. Nobody tells you to find the exact price of bitcoins lowest point, nobody can do that, we do not have the power to see the future, if I knew that I would sell my house and buy bitcoin at the lowest point and get super rich.

However making assumptions are part of the "speculation" topics, we are in the speculation part of crypto and I believe it is definitely reasonable to just make some predictions here, doesn't have to be correct, doesn't have to be right, just make a prediction if you think it will do X or Y. I believe it will go up and we have seen the price at lowest already, but I might be wrong, that is only my prediction.
3973  Economy / Speculation / Re: David Gokhshtein: Bitcoin Price Will Reach $80K on: July 15, 2021, 08:24:32 PM
I can't say I disagree with him, I can't say I agree with him, this is just a basically known thing that bitcoin WILL be 80k one day, I just can't give time that is the thing. Bitcoin going down and having a correction was a needed thing as well that's true, there were way too many leverages that got so thin that with just one drop rest was easy, all of that 50% drop from the peak weren't just people selling, it was debt getting liquidated like crazy as well, unintended drop to be precise, just didn't had enough money left to get it back up again and that's why we are here.

I believe that we will see 80k, but it may take some time for all crypto world to get together and find enough hype and money to get the price higher again, I personally believe that it may be in 2022 instead of this year, or if it happens this year it should be very late into the year.
3974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Uniswap Token Price Prediction on: July 15, 2021, 06:51:23 PM
Honestly there is nothing that we could do that would make uniswap differentiate compared to other crypto market, it is just something that's inline with all of other crypto currencies and that is why I have to say that when the market goes down then the price of uniswap goes down as well, and when the market goes up then uniswap goes up as well.

Now this may sound something expected but it is definitely something not expected usually, why? Because normally there are coins that does something exceptional and amazing so they go up while the market is silent, it is just not really doing anything all by itself, and normally it does go up or down for other coins, I have seen many coins that goes up while the market is not moving, and uniswap doesn't do that, which is why I do not really like uniswap because it fails to make move all by itself and won't invest until it can.
3975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Let's look at the movement of cryptocurrency prices this week, which seems diffi on: July 15, 2021, 06:52:59 AM
whether investors' appetite for risk assets has decreased due to the surge in global coronavirus cases. The majority of the six cryptocurrencies with the jumbo market capitalization and most liquid transactions monitored are in the red this week.
I don't think so, the corona virus has passed, now many countries have returned to normal, yesterday's euro football match was proof that parts of the world are now fine. it is a matter of time for the market to go green again. Currently the crypto market is doing very well compared to last year. what you are saying is the fear of people who are new to crypto. even the volume of coins on marketcap that I saw today is increasing very rapidly compared to the last few years.
Corona virus hasn't passed just yet, it is just getting better and that is the situation right now. I am not saying that we should not be still the same fear as we used to be, I used to literally wipe every single thing I buy with disinfectant before I used it, I believed virus was everywhere, I was really crazy about it and was very very careful, very happy that I never got it (or at least as far as I know) and that is great, however many friends of mine went to work and kept working and nothing happened to them neither, so I can't really say much about that situation.

That is why I think it is really getting better and there are less and less infected right now, but it is still out there which is why we should be very happy about the situation but not get too much happy about it enough that we stop wearing mask and get together with strangers too much.
3976  Economy / Economics / Re: Singapore, the banking industry, and Bitcoin on: July 15, 2021, 06:07:09 AM
It is not about El Salvador being a hub, it is not a hub, it is about how countries started to see bitcoin as a legal tender and that is the reason why people are seeing it as something good and as long as people keep seeing it as something good then we should not diminish the importance of it neither.

I personally believe that we should not be comparing it to any other nation, look at USA they are very supportive of crypto as well and they are not making it illegal, however they are not making it a legal tender neither, so we can't compare those two things together. Same could be said about crypto in Singapore, as far as I know they didn't make it a legal tender and that is what matters to me, if it is not legal tender then it is not something similar to what is going on with El Salvador, it is not about being a hub, it is about being a legal tender in that specific nation.
3977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Suggestions for Long-Term Investment on: July 14, 2021, 09:29:30 PM
My biggest investment option for now is BNB, I have seen the improvements over the BSC and I can say that it is just incredible to actually end up with the current price, it should be a lot higher and higher because it really looks like a 500 or more even during this fall is definitely deserved. Go look at how much money is going around in BSC world, not just pancakeswap but all of it, there are billions upon billions of dollars, over ten billion dollars when last I checked so it is really a great thing but somehow the price is nowhere near where it should be.

This is why I believe it is definitely undervalued right now if you ask me. Which means that if you invest into BNB now when it is undervalued, then one day when the bull run comes in then you will be able to actually very rich when it becomes overvalued and it WILL be overvalued when there is extra hype around it.
3978  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you aren't reading you shouldn't be trading on: July 14, 2021, 08:55:41 PM
OP is very right, trading is not something you learn once and then become good at it and do it forever, it just not the way it works. I am telling you there could be someone who studied trading for 50 years and then stop learning about it and then in 20 years he will be purely losing without earning (of course his age could be very high but you get the point).

So long story short it doesn't matter how long you have been a trader, you could be trading for a long time but if you stop learning then you stop earning. Warren Buffet himself once said that he keeps learning new ways to find undervalued stocks all the time, newer and better ways, even upgraded his PC recently at age 90 just to check the stocks he wants to check. If Warren Buffet can accept that after nearly 70 years of being the best investor in the world he could still learn more about how to trade, then you shouldn't feel any different.
3979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GrayScale13th is supposed to be a big sell off say on: July 14, 2021, 07:47:47 PM
From the looks of it the group was very wrong, things are looking alright. Bitcoin is at the 33k mark or so right now and that matters a lot, we are talking about something that is very valuable because if we do not look at the current situation then yesterday was very good as well, it is just staying same.

All of these "x going to happen, I talked with Y about it" is just pure fake, there is nothing that you could do to make it happen, I personally believe that we should not be listening to other people, it is just that if we do not end up ignoring these type of people, then we are talking about getting a huge lose just because we listened to someone online who we never met before. So far I have been in crypto for over 8 years and I have made a lot of trades and investments and I can say that not even a single one of them was based on someone else telling me to do something.
3980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why some are still loosing money in crypto on: July 14, 2021, 06:28:37 PM
There is nothing we can do about the people who end up losing money, they just do not wait. I mean think about it, if you buy bitcoin and wait, eventually you will profit ONE day, who knows when but it will happen but it WILL happen, that much we all know. This is why I do not think that we should be doing anything special, just wait and you will profit, any person who "loses" money in crypto is a person who buys at higher price and then sells at a lower price, because they are worried or something and that is the problem, I mean the reason could be whatever but if you buy higher and sell lower than you are not doing it right at all.

Bitcoin is a place where the profit is literally guaranteed, all you have to do is just buy and wait, it will reach to a higher price one day, maybe in an hour, maybe in few years but it will happen which is why anyone who loses is making a mistake.
