3961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All of a sudden they want to join crypto. on: April 23, 2021, 12:53:02 PM
So how would they feel now that bitcoin is dumping, I'm sure these people who are eager to join crypto when its bullish will easily panic seeing a big price dump like what we are witnessing now. From over $60k, bitcoin has dumped below $50k which is a major dump, if one doesn't have the faith and enough knowledge in crypto, they'll easily make a bad decision and panic.

Equivalent now is 10 usd if I'll send all my balance worth  55 usd. imagine, 20% fee.  Grin
By the way, is this the new version of Electrum? I am using version 3.3.8 and all I have is the fee adjustment bar, no interface like you. And the fee is about 20 dollars, why?

I'm using not really the latest one, I'm using 4.0.1 but there's 4.1.2 already, however, I did stick with the current version. You should consider updating yours, just make sure you download on electrum's real website, not the phishing site.
Why both of you guys didn't update to the latest version of Electrum, we know that this wallet is a buggy one and the thing we can make it sure safe is to up to date with the latest version. I don't have any issue with the current version and I can always modify fees according to the mempool required transaction fee.

The problem with the custodial wallet is the highest fee and you can't able to adjust to the lower fee. I guess that's how they will generate a profit, they almost double the regular fee required by the miners.

I just feel not updating it, lol.. but thanks for reminding, I will try to update mine to the latest. The electrum that I'm using now is not buggy so I did not get interested on updating it, besides, I don't have a lot on this wallet.

If we gamble using altcoins will I guess will a better solution, for now, I'm using XRP instead of bitcoin.
Great job, always go with the cheapest solution.

Seriously?  0.0008 usd is equivalent to 45 usd, that's just crazy, I have never encounter that kind of huge fee using electrum.

I always select the Mempol when making a transaction, way better that you can adjust, not the "ETA" as I guess it's automatic.

We can also choose our own fee rate to pay in electrum and also use some accelerators to lower the fees problem, I saw some good guys accelerating transactions for free in the 'Services' area. I would suggest cabalism to choose a better gambling website, for eg.;

Thanks for the suggestion, I also saw the "free accelaration" in the services, have tried it once, it was indeed free but it wasn't as fast as I expected, maybe I'm just too rush to gamble that time but will try again. Electrum suggest that amount as the lowest, so it should not confirm fast, I'm thinking, how much more slower if I will reduce the suggested fee.  Sad

Stake where they can deposit in various cryptocurrencies and some of them are very cheap in regards to paying fees for withdrawals.

Same with bitsler, they do have a lot of options too.
3965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Transactions Fees x Gambling on: April 19, 2021, 09:29:30 PM
I just check my electrum wallet and have tried to transact but it prompt me with "0.00014" or 8 usd at the current price, that's the cheapest for now but I don't know how long it will confirm.
8 USD for 2 inputs and 1 2 out transaction will be reasonable for me but yesterday when I checked (by the times of bitcoin was recovering from below $52k levels) elecctrum showed me around 0.0008BTC for same set of transaction. This is the reason I have switched to dogecoin and trx form my gambling purposes. Moreover I am a fan of waves coins but unfortunately most of my favorite gambling houses are not supporting it. If you check in most exchanges, waves must be having the cheapest withdrawal request.

3966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will TRX go to new ATH on: April 19, 2021, 08:55:04 PM
Guys trx is back to $0.12 this is the best time to buy. Next bull cycle will take trx price to $0.22.
Some more good news coming from Justin Sun for tron blockchain. Keep your eyes open, trx going to moon soon.
Don't left out in this journey Wink
Not financial advice

It's possible of course, if DOGE pump like Crazy again, TRX also has a chance as it also has a big community and it's easy to see altcoins pump this season. However, let's wait until bitcoin starts to bounce back again, it dump in the past few days and now it's start to recover slowly, who knows in this run we might see a new ATH on bitcoin, that would certainly make altcoins to be even more bullish.
3967  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: April 19, 2021, 08:38:30 PM
Lakers - Jazz is a pretty good game tonight, feels like Western Conference finals. Lakers won the game in extra time previous day, they showed how big threat they are in Western Conference despite their 5th position. Jazz players looks healthy and missing players are back. We might see a different game tonight.
I'll watch Sixers - Warriors game first. I couldn't catch Sixers' games lately, I need to see how good they are, if they deserve first spot in East.

This is a game 2 of the WCF Finals. LMAO... I'm just curious why Lakers are now the underdog.. will Gobert and Mitchell be back in the line up already, or Lakers have more players that willl not play due to injury?

Soccer Wizard is Back! 🎉

Nice to see it back again, hopefully we will get more than the minimium.  Smiley

I hope you guys could reach the minimum required number of participants so there will be a quorum in the first day of the competition, I was not able to join due to the high transaction fee of bitcoin at the moment, hopefully next time, good luck to all of you.
3969  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Haney vs Linares - May 29 on: April 19, 2021, 01:53:18 PM
Latest update of this fight:

Seems like fans of both fighters are really supporting their guys as tickets were selling like hotcakes and it has been sold out already and Hearn is planning on releasing additional tickets.

https://www.boxingnews24.com/2021/04/devin-haney-vs-jorge-linares-sold-out-for-may-29th-fight-at-mandalay-bay/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook

This is not only great for them but for the sports, I did a quick reading but I only found the words "SOLD OUT", they didn't tell how much it is equivalent to amount, I think it's way lower compared to the actual capacity of the venue since protocol of social distancing is still in place, am i right?

Yup, it's 50 percent capacity for now and a rough estimate, it could be below 5k tickets which were being sold out and probably they will open more seats as the interest in this fight is high for now.

https://i.imgur.com/Wx1cX7G.jpg

^^ is the layout of the stadium, there we can make estimates on how many people would be watching.

That's already a good number I believe, plus they also have a PPV, right?

I think their target is to really maximize their income in PPV as there's no limit on that unlike the crowd of this fight.
Good thing, maybe after this fight, if Haney will win, he could match up with Ryan Garcia if he would also win his upcoming fight.
3970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: April 19, 2021, 01:19:15 PM
I do hope that this situation of Durant now will not be like Derrick Rose situation when he sufferred a major injury, after those injury, he never returned to his old self again, or probably it will take time to return, though Durant has achieve more than Derrick Rose had already achieve but Durant could be a hall of famer if you will be healthy as he could add more stats to play many seasons.

That is 27 usd and 24 usd respectively?

I guess that's too high, I can still transact bitcoin paying less than 10 usd and it confirm within 24 hours, I know depending on the situation but let's just look for the right timing if we want to save a little bit, but of course altcoins is the best answer.

In Blockchain.com, they calculate the fee in two ways. First is for priority confirmation (i.e confirmation in 5-20 minutes). Right now, the average fee in this sector is $20 to $25 per transaction. Then there is the fee for regular transaction (which can take up to 2 hours for confirmation). And this one is going at $10-$15 right now, for transaction of median size. If you are ready to wait for up to 24 hours, then it may be possible to get the transaction confirmed after paying much lower fee.

Still high, actually if I make transactions I don't want to wait for 24 hours, maybe 1 to 2 hours is still acceptabl but I won't be paying with such high price. I just check my electrum wallet and have tried to transact but it prompt me with "0.00014" or 8 usd at the current price, that's the cheapest for now but I don't know how long it will confirm.
3973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's up with NEO and NANO - Any news I missed? on: April 18, 2021, 09:54:59 PM
Maybe they are not the most hype coins in this bull cycle but they have some significant growth already.

NANO trading below $1 before bull run, now already traded at $12
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/nano/

NEO trading $5 before bull run, now traded at $96.

After the migration, the pundi has even touched the 9 $ level before now. For Old coffers with such a large supply and expecting a $ 1 increase is unlikely any time soon.
That old token will soon be worthless once its not allowed to convert anymore, so not looking its chance to rise anymore as the new one now is the real token.

Based on the market cap, Pundi is not that big and still has the potential. There must be a BURN token program periodically and the supply is reduced to be able to get an increase in price. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/pundi-x/markets/ 24 Hours Price Change 60%
If they have that kind of program that would certainly help, just like BNB, they burn coins so it resulted to a huge pump, this kind of "token burn" really attracts investors as its together with hype.
3975  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao offered $10 million to fight Terence Crawford on: April 18, 2021, 09:08:56 PM
He is running in the Philippines alone, and he has been the face of boxing for Filipinos and everyone knows who he is, so I doubt that he will fight because he want's to gain popularity.

Maybe he needed the funds, however, he has a lot of money already, but for sure if he run for the highest office, he should be prepared and it will cost him in billions in Philippine Peso for sure.
Manny Pacquiao does not need additional popularity and even if he retired a few years ago he will be considered as one of the greatest boxers in the history of boxing and yet he continued to fight to raise money as he is helping with his charity works and that needs big amounts of money and i have seen him saying in some interviews that he is fighting to raise the money and not for his legacy because his legacy is already cemented.

Probably the greatest boxer in the Philippines but one of the greatest in the world per ranking. He is only a boxer but a politician as well, so in terms of popularity, it's not a problem for him, but is the election in the Philippines is a popularity contest?
3976  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: April 18, 2021, 12:39:51 PM

Now Jokic will have to "carry the team on his back", especially since the playoffs will start soon.
Murray makes a lot of difference in Denver, I don't know how Nuggets will behave without your PG

They have to adjust, they lost Murray but they still have Gordon which they acquire recently, I think they can still be a tough team to bet in the playoffs. Nuggets team are design to play with good teamwork, they'll still have the success, but of course it's different when Murray is present but they have to live with the current situation, be more careful and avoid injury.
3977  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao offered $10 million to fight Terence Crawford on: April 18, 2021, 11:45:00 AM
This is something in connection with the up coming local election I believe so Manny will push through any fight just to increase the popularity of his name again. No specific match yet until now and maybe they are still negotiating and looking for a more flexible terms with the other boxer, we’ll see the match of Manny soon I just hope it is a god match with good boxer.
That's part of it and exposure of him will really help if he ever is already decided to run for a higher position in politics.

The man doesn't need exposure anymore, probably need more funds to fund his campaign if indeed he will run for a higher office, but once again let's leave that discussion, focus on this fight and look for some realiable updates about the fight.

BTC= 27
ETH= 24

These are average fees and this is the best time on making use some Alts which does have much more cheaper fees
than these two.
Ha-Ha
Can't even take a look for a long time. It hurts, it really hurts damn.
Imagine you have a 50 USD worth of BTC salary a week in Telegram / Campaign, then you have to withdraw them out on your whatsoever wallet you are using for, damn, I can already make a lot of bets on slots @ FJ with that price.

3979  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Transactions Fees x Gambling on: April 17, 2021, 09:10:34 PM
Hey guys, I was wondering on how do you fund your Gambling Account if we currently have high fees on ERC20 and Bitcoin?

Many gambling websites now offer many cryptocurrencies to use on their platform. To have lesser fees I often use TRX or doge to play, the amount you will earn is still the same if you convert it to stablecoins. It also has an advantage using those because you can play longer with those cheap coins. Even if the fees are low, using bitcoin or ethereum to gamble is not good for me because you are just wasting a big amount money in the future. This is what I've realized wasting more than 0.01btc just to gamble in the past.

If you have TRX or DOGE already in your wallet, then there is nothing wrong in using them for making the payment. On my part, I mostly go with BTC, since I don't have a lot many altcoins with me. Purchasing altcoins using BTC and then using them for the payment can be counterproductive, due to the extremely unstable exchange rates. And I don't necessarily agree with the last part of your post. The payment needs to be made and it doesn't really matter whether you are using BTC or fiat for that. If you really feel that you will lose out in the future, then why can't you purchase a large amount of BTC right now, rather than worrying about spending these small amounts?

Actually it depends on the value of btc you are trading, if you are trading like $100 below, then I guess it's still good to convert it to altcoins you've mentioned so you will be able to save on the fees. For me, I usually trade my btc to xrp to gamble, it made my life easier and I don't have to worry on the high fees anymore, and there's a bonus, transaction are instant.
3980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will BNB become the king of all coins on: April 17, 2021, 08:44:47 PM
For me, its a possible, more traders and holders are enjoying their verygood profit, and CZ creating and making a hyper moves on his own work, He did a best marketing strategy
CZ's performance so far has indeed produced excellent results on the BNB token, lots of support has come and BNB enthusiasts have started to increase over time because they saw extraordinary movements in the BNB token.

CZ is very present, innovative and open-minded. Great CEO with a great vision and he won't stop. He isn't done yet.

With the success of BNB, I feel he will be more motivated as BNB could be the number 1 in the altcoins market soon.
We can expect more great news from Binance team, they always gives us positive surprise so we should not be surprise why BNB pumped big time already.

Just a matter of time, BNB will overtake ETH.
