3961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did you fall for the current dip and sell off on: June 03, 2021, 02:01:38 PM
Good thing is that I still keep holding, I am already trusted bitcoin and once it goes down, I will still hold and it and will not hesitate of selling it, I know that bitcoin can reach the new ATH again within this year, despite of many FUDS, bitcoin is still strong and keeps on reaching for about $35000, do no sell while in dip, you will literally lose your money from that, just keep holding it and buy more.
I hope you were right but I not sure that there is another ATH happening this year. Whether you believe me or not, but we are done already with the ATH. What we got now is a huge correction and if ever there is a recovery (where we just hope to commence), I'm not going to say that it leads to a new ATH.

I'm not going to say that holding is the best thing we have to do now, but we have to consider your current situation coz if it seems that you in profit now, I suggest doing the selling. Not all holding gives positive results, many were also suffering losses. And might possibly happen to you.
3962  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anybody else feel relieved this dip finally happened? on: June 03, 2021, 09:38:29 AM
I can't deny that I was happy with the dump. Not already it calls as a bear season but something it gives us a chance to reinvest Bitcoin. Either short-term or long-term investment depending on the market trend.

Imagine, if we buy Bitcoin as it reaches back to $32k, we are already in profit now for just a few week as we are gaining back to $38k. I think there are a lot of people who just miss that time as we are expecting a continuous downfall rather than recovery.
3963  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Many got REKT :( on: June 03, 2021, 09:13:19 AM
Who did an exit strategy before the worst dip?

I did but Half only of my totality in investment .

Why? because i still believe that it is just a correction, so i am wrong but at least i'm right in selling half of it.

Now that the dip comes to 30,000 level , i am lucky to say that i bought all of those half again and seeing a 20% profit now because the price close to 40k once more.
Sometimes we got unlucky and we do selling too early without giving some time for the market to recover. Not totally common as this was somewhat called a nature for all of us. And I don't believe those people saying that they will still hold no matter what will happen coz what seems to be impossible. Maybe I was wrong but base on my experience, you can make a change in your mind especially when you are seeing that your portfolio is declining.

I suppose to hold and stand for it before but I also realize it was not my priority, what we aim for is profit, and it was wrong to lose such an opportunity. Why not taking that while it is still there? We're getting to rekt of we miss this.
3964  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 02, 2021, 10:59:51 PM
No Embiid in game 5 of the series, the handicap is -6 for the 76ers, I think I'm betting on the home team here, I do believe they can still win even without Embiid, they have a solid lineup and a great defense, so -6 76ers and under 229.5 for this game.

3965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 02, 2021, 10:46:36 PM
These Ravena brothers might stay on the B League of Japan as they're going to be more recognized there and have a better basketball career.

Most probably as this league gives a better salary than the PBA, as rumor says, the salary of Thirdy Ravena is higher than the highest paid PBA player which is June Mar Fajardo, so Kiefer might just thinking of his better future.
3966  Economy / Speculation / Re: Everyone is fearfull. Someone said this is time to be greedy on: June 02, 2021, 11:09:13 AM
There is a good amount of profit to be made from the current situation and that is what I want people to know. However there are tons of people who won't be able to make any profit right now because they are just too scared.
They become too scared because basically they are not too sure of the potential that bitcoin will achieve after a price correction. I wouldn't say they're cowards because honestly they don't dare to take bigger risks. There are many types of trader in the market and not all of them really believe that after a correction the market price will recover. Bitcoin is a very volatile asset, so only those who are really willing to take big risks will get big profit.
We can not force them to buy bitcoin now, especially if they do not know bitcoin or are not ready with bitcoin price volatility, which can make them worry.
The trader will use this moment to buy bitcoin and traded to make more profit because this time, they can use the buy low and sell high strategy, but they still need to be careful because the bitcoin market can not be predicted.
Maybe if they get lose by buying at a high price, they do not have to panic because they can still hold it and waiting for the uptrend that will come soon.
Everything that they do in the crypto market will have risk, and if they can be ready with that risk, they can prevent the big loss.
Yeah, people will buy if they want to. I know we all have some fear but we don't just let this controls us because if that going to happen, we will no longer reach our goal. And this to say that Bitcoin is not for everyone, if we have some guts and willing to risk, this might be ours but if not, we better step away. Risk-takers win, we can't deny this thing and so many people had tried to invest in Bitcoin but not all of them went succeed, many were fail and lose their money.
3967  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't believe in digital money? Well... on: June 02, 2021, 10:42:53 AM
Well, I don't think it's a good idea to abandon the physical completely for virtual/digital. Don't forget the former tend to offer better privacy and has alot of other very important advantages people seem to ignore.
I would be making sure there are improved or there are much better physical alternatives just incase it becomes difficult/dangerous/impossible to use the digital.
I don't think it has to be happening. Because even we have to adopt the new payment system, many were still be using and accepting fiat money. As long as the government won't stop printing paper money, it will still exist no matter what.

It is to understand that many of the majority still not know how to use Bitcoin but probably in the days coming, they'll appreciate this and not only consider it as a pure investment but as a currency as well. This what I look at Bitcoin before but, for now, we're getting happy as it was already acceptable in our country as payment.

3968  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to earn some profit trading BTC on: June 02, 2021, 06:21:35 AM
Particularly one of the ways to earn with BTC is by trading, many are dedicated to scalping, others simply put a position in LONG and the other defend it with a leveraged SHORT, this is a practice that comes from the 1800s, Jesse Livermore applied it, currently very few traders do it because it gives good results only when very high amounts are handled, it is similar to scalping.

The advantage of this strategy is that it is always in the market, if on the one hand it loses on the other it is recovering and there is the possibility that it will come out with a positive balance, although the strategy is very risky, many traders dedicate themselves to this practice.

There is only one strategy that it finds more effective to me and that is to buy low, Hold, sell high...and there is one thing that we need to apply, knows how to control our emotions and stick to the plan.

A lot of traders become unconscious because of so many trading strategies we found online, and they insisted that it really works on their side but how about our side. It found to be different depending on the market status and most likely, it won't work all the time as this promoter has said.
3969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Gas Fees Drop on: June 02, 2021, 05:56:45 AM
It's good news for most ETH users because, to be honest, most traders and investors these days are struggling because of high gas fees and they're even using other coins that offer lower fees. I hope that they would continue working on this because it would also have a positive impact on ETH.
That should be considered by Vitalik as he was competing for the market demand of Binance Smart Chain otherwise, ETH users will jump to the other platform/smart contract.

These declining fees will give us some insights that the coming ETH 2.0 upgrade will be effective. We might able to see that it continue to drop.
So let's see what will happen next if there is a huge impact on the price or it remains the same. But I'm going to sure that this news will help to increase ETH users.
3970  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't believe in digital money? Well... on: June 01, 2021, 11:11:56 PM
This is all about market innovation, technology enhancement and there are two reasons why all things had come out and hit us, it is because we want to have a comfortable lifestyle and become more productive. I think everyone wants this thing to happen. But the used pf digital money just consider this as an option, we can still use fiat money and I'm still using it ( everyone does). However, we have to visualize what will be its huge impact on our life today compared before and we can see a huge difference. That is to believe that this gonna be more adaptable for the next generation.
3971  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 01, 2021, 01:58:31 PM

There's no official update on the status yet, but hopefully, it's not that serious.

I saw the video of the fall, it doesn't look like an awkward fall so it's probably just a sprain ankle. Davis is also out for the Lakers in game 5, that's why the Lakers are listed as the underdog but the Sixers are in a good position as they only need 1 win to advance, unlike the Lakers that they are even now and they don't have the home-court advantage.
3972  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 01, 2021, 01:40:30 PM
~snip~
And, how about this performance individually, which is better, his older brother or him?

For me, it's hard to tell who's better as they play different position. Kiefer plays point-guard while Thirdy is more of a 2-3 player.

Both of them have not yet lead a team to a championship so i can say that both of them are raw but with Thirdy playing as an import in Japan, i think he has the advantage on experience as he is more exposed on a different types of play and have guarded players which were more talented than PBA players.

I agree with you, at a young age, Thirdy chooses to explore his chances abroad and a team would not make him an import if he does not have an exceptional talent. However, we can't compare until he played in the PBA, just like the Ball Brothers.
3973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Cryptocurrency will rise in future? on: June 01, 2021, 01:33:35 PM
The top 3 that will always rise are Bitcoin, Ethereum and Cardano.
Yes, but now not only the three coins you mentioned will go up, but BNB will also always go up if Bitcoin has a good rise in the market, so in my opinion the ones that always go up when the market is good are the top 5.
When it comes to potentiality, the top 10 coins are having that but I don't just stop there, I look among the top 20 coins in the market. For the reason that it was cheap but has the gain potentials that many of us neglected to see it rather than of choosing the known coins.

I was on that mindest before but I realize that I can make more profit if I look into cheap coins. And these top 20 altcoins could be the answer to my search. I'd never look into new projects as they are more tricky and most of them are worthless.
3974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which best Altcoins to buy & HODL for some months on: May 31, 2021, 10:52:45 AM
Bull market is officially over friend, wait for massive corrections that are coming which can take months and prepare for new bullrun years later, buying and holding now will bring you more pains and losses
So, what should we gonna do now? Have you just sit down and wait for the Bullrun?

No, people are taking advantage of the current situation, the prices are low which is a good buying position and when the pump has come again we are already done buying. If you are not doing this today, you might miss the best opportunity given.

And I only focus on the top 20 coins in the market which seems to have a huge potential when talking about a long-term investment.
3975  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Still trading BTC even though actually trading Alts on: May 30, 2021, 02:20:21 PM
Sometimes I use BTC/ETH, BTC/USDT trading pairs and ain't see bad for the result. I can never say also that everything went so smooth and in higher profit, as it always depends on the market price flow. So I can say that trading in altcoins while having Bitcoin as a major focus, it never has a problem as long as you can handle the pressure and time.

There is one thing I have to remind you OP, choose the best coin/s. Don't get fooled by cheap coins thinking that you can buy in bulk as you can never expect any returns from them.
3976  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: May 28, 2021, 09:10:33 PM
Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles Clippers have their backs to the wall tonight.  They're both in danger of going down 3-0 and pretty much kissing their season goodbye.  The Celtics going up against the Nets is a pretty good excuse for them, but the Clippers making an early exit again with PG and Kawhi is not a good look.  I don't think that pairing will be together much longer.  The way Luka has been playing, it would be tough for any team to beat them.  I'm just surprised the Clippers who supposedly have the most defensive talent in the NBA are getting cooked by a big slow young guy.

Yes, of course, they are already criticized and more if they will lose today. Clippers is supposed to be a championship team and that dream might be gone soon if they will not come back in the series. I expect them to be more careful now, play with urgency and of course, win the game.

Good luck to Leonard and George, may they have a good shooting against a hot-shooting Mavericks team.
3977  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Degree in gambling? on: May 28, 2021, 03:40:41 PM
What are the kinds of job offers in a casino?

I don't know such a bachelor's degree for gambling, maybe our educational system is obsolete.
Actually if given a chance I love to work in a casino, but only on a job that is related to my educational background.

Maybe that way I would be able to limit my gambling and I can prove that I can earn in a casino but in the safest way, which is to work.
3978  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casimero vs Rigondeaux this August 14, 2021 on: May 28, 2021, 03:14:35 PM
@Questat. how do you convert that odds into american odds or asian odds?

I'm a little bit confused right now.

1/1 is equal 100%, while 2/1 is 200% if divided.  Undecided

You can use this calculator https://www.aceodds.com/bet-calculator/odds-converter.html

The computation you made seemed right, but there was an error in the article, instead of 2/1, that should be 1/2 which is equivalent to 1.5 (decimal) or -200 (American).

Thanks, it's easy to convert the odds using such a calculator. We will try to look for another source regarding the odds, it might be a typo error.

This site https://www.foxsports.com/boxing/results?id=259 is more accurate but it does not provide the odds yet, so maybe that betting odds is not really accurate, otherwise, we will see another source that tells the same.
3979  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Donaire vs Oubaali - May 29 on: May 28, 2021, 02:30:36 PM
Would it really help him?

~snip~

Donaire was impressive against Inoue though he loses, this is another undefeated fighter, hence it should be a huge challenge for him.

They said that having a long lay-off in boxing could give them ring rust and i may agree with that but we should also take note that it is not only Donaire who have a long lay-off as Oubaali last fought on the undercard of the Donaire vs Inoue fight so this category should be even to both of them.

Basing on their last fight, Donaire impressed me more that Oubaali though he lost but he give one hell of a fight to Inoue.

I guess you are betting on Donaire to win?

Can't blame you, Donaire is our own, we should support him and I think he is not yet done although he loses against Inoue.
I'm not sure if Inoue felt that Donaire is a tough opponent but as a fan that's what we saw in their fight.
