3961  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin may not be number one for long on: November 10, 2017, 12:54:03 PM
I thought for sure it would take until the end of 2018 but it looks like this summer ethereum might pass it up. With the turmoil around BTC potential splitting, it might be very soon. IMO this is healthy, we will always value bitcoin for being the one that started it all, but it's time for a more dynamic and adaptable currency to take the lead.

You have a point but the thing here is, bitcoin is the first crypto currency in the making, not only that but also because it has the highest price of them all. There is no way that bitcoin will be passed by Ethereum, we know that there is a lot more better than bitcoin and ethereum still they are still staying at their prices and keeping their values up because there are a lot of people demanding of there cryptos.
3962  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price behind ethereum price value in the future! on: November 10, 2017, 10:39:09 AM
It is possible happen that ethereum overtake bitcoin?
Do I need to compare both of them or just hold both.?
Please share your constructive idea about this.

I think if it is possible, it happened a long time ago. But ever since the start, ethereum will just be seeing the back of bitcoin which is going far and back. But in terms of holding, I think these two deserves to be holded for a long time. If you will be just looking at the price, you will be getting a good profit from it.
3963  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chances of Satoshi Nagamoto being alive? Any guesses on who he is? on: November 10, 2017, 07:14:39 AM
anyone think Satoshi is alive? Are you guys worried he might dump bitcoin on us one day? Who could it be and where did the first blockchain transaction happen?

I don't know who he is or what he is doing right know or if he is still alive but what I know is that he invented bitcoin and it is giving me another way to earn money and use it for my everyday living and a way to make my life good.
3964  Economy / Speculation / Re: $50,000 Bitcoin In The Next Couple Of Months? on: November 10, 2017, 12:05:55 AM
How likely is it that BTC will actually revert back down to 1-3k?

It will happen but with a very very low possibility. Bitcoin even pumped it's price before the speculated fork though it did not happened. BTC price lower than 1-3K is impossible these days, maybe next fork. $50K though in a couple of weeks, is possible since we are witnessing the doubling price power of bitcoin since the start of the year.
3965  Economy / Economics / Re: 99% of the people still think that fiat money are better than crypto on: November 09, 2017, 11:33:14 PM
There is no comparison. The only real money are token money which are basically shares of a real asset , cryptos like Bitcoin are Proof of Waste coins and actually do nothing, on the other hand ethereum like platforms are very important and have real value because do a service to the people.

Wow, so you are saying that bitcoin is just "proof of waste coin" that "actually" did nothing? I think without bitcoin Ethereum will not even exist. Ethereum is just that useful since it is that easy to fork and create tokens, do that in the platform with the type of bitcoin where it is so popular and big in the crypto world, even one fork of bitcoin is a big deal and it is a serious matter.
3966  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Millionaire Tim Draper: Cryptocurrencies Will Replace Fiat in 5 Years on: November 09, 2017, 11:18:14 PM
This is going to be huge man, a lot of people are hyping bitcoin and this is going to make the price go up like crazy, i think that this is the perfect moment to be in bitcoin because a lot of people are investing their funds into it very quickly.
I dont think that it is going to happen in five years from now, but of course that it is really going to happen, but in a few years from now, maybe more than five.
Cryptos are being adopted very quickly during those days, i dont know why there are so good rumours.

There is a high possibility that it will happen. Bitcoin grew very much in 2017. We might entering to a new era. 5 years from now is a long time and every thing is possible.

It has a low possibility. I think there will be some country that are closing to that decision in 5 years but not all of the countries. Third world countries are one of them since people will not be accepting or adapting that currency quickly. Bitcoin will not be the root of these possibility because bitcoin will not be the crypto curency that every country will use to replace fiats, I am sure that they will make their own.
3967  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Altcoin Trading Platform ? on: November 09, 2017, 03:12:50 PM
Hey guys, I want to ask you. What is your Altcoins Market (Trading Platform) is the best from your experience? And why?

I am using Bittrex.com for Altcoins trading because it's secure and good reputation atm. Thanks

I think this is depending on the root of that altcoin. When I will be trading or maybe selling or buying an altcoin of Ethereum root, I always visit the Etherdelta sometimes bittrex. When it comes in some popular or known crypto currency, I use shapeshift. When the altcoin is at Waves, I use waveswallet.io. But mostly, I am staying at Bittrex and Etherdelta.
3968  Economy / Economics / Re: 99% of the people still think that fiat money are better than crypto on: November 09, 2017, 03:02:04 PM
I was talking with a friend of mine about cryptocurrencies and he said:
"Cryptocurrencies are anonymous?Nothing on the internet is anonymous.Having a bunch of dollars or euro in the pocket is the most anonymous way to store money. Grin"
Damn, now i think that he is right and fiat money are still way more convenient ,despite all the inflation, banks monopoly and control. From my personal experiense 99% of the people refuse to believe in bitcoin and refuse to adopt it in their daily life.Any opinions?

If we are talking about anonymity of crypto currency, it exists. It is not that all crypto currencies are anonymous but there are some which is truly anonymous. You can just search that anonymous crypto currencies online to know them. And in terms of "believing"? I still believe in fiat, but that doesn't mean that I don't trust cryptos, I just know that it will create it's own place in the future.
Share your opinion.

For your information bitcoin is legal in the Philippines.

3970  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Segwit2x hard fork cancelled. Lets have a discussion here. on: November 09, 2017, 02:15:00 PM

Sa tingin ko sir even if the fork happened wala naman talaga "free coin" or yung sinasabi nating airdrop na mangyayari. Hindi ito katulad nung last fork na nagkaroon ng Bitcoin Gold and Bitcoin Cash, sa pagkakaalam ko lang ha, di pa ako certain. At sa tingin ko, even if magkaroon ng free coin, mas mahalaga na maging positive yung resulta nung fork. Tsaka because of that fork nagkaroon ng pagtaas ng mga altcoins kaya I think maging grateful din tayo.
3971  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what would happen to the *blockchain* if the itnernet was turned off on: November 09, 2017, 08:07:02 AM
Spin off from a similar thread. People were mostly replying how the bitcoins would be safe in the allet and how it would be the least of our problems if the internet was turned off

But I am asking what would happen to the blockain , so the trasnaction control.

Where is the blockchain stored? I always imagined it as an online spreadsheet that miners all over the world are "hacking"

If all mining cumputers were cut off the connection, what would happen to it?

Could it be easily reset once everyone got back online?

It is not that miners are hacking it but to have a good and simple explanation, better imagine the blockchain as a good and clean road and think of the miners as an checkpoint and checks the vehicles that use the road if they are allowed to drive or to get through them. But, they don't really use that road but it is just like a list of the transactions that is being sent.
3972  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Segwit2x cancellation discussion on: November 08, 2017, 11:44:08 PM
With this cancellation the most important altcoins have rise the price. It was a good time to buy, but still not to late

I think that is the best thing that happened in the cancellation of the bitcoin fork. But some of the users are intending to buy bitcoin because they are wanting to have the airdrop or the "free coin" but the truth is, there is no "free coin" or airdrop that will happen, it is better if they will just invest on ICOs or buy another altcoin to be holded.
3973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing on ICOS is good or bad ? on: November 08, 2017, 04:04:17 PM
Please give your ideas according to your experience.

This depends on the ICO. Not every ICO is so good to be invested, we all know that there are some ICOs that is not bad but you have a risk on investing on them because it might not be successful. Also there are said that some ICOs are being a scam or just to fool some investors and take their investments which is much needed to look out for.
3974  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people attract for the BitCoin than other crypto currency? on: November 08, 2017, 03:32:14 PM
Please give your opinions.

That is an easy question. Because bitcoin is the most popular and known digital currency and crypto currency in the world. Also, bitcoin has reached the price where no other crypto currencies reached. People are thinking that it will be pumping more making them rich so they want to hold and own their own bitcoins hence buying them or gamble or do some trades.

3980  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto is 247th Richest Person in The World on: November 02, 2017, 06:33:41 AM
Estimated to own 980,000 BTC? Is someone here knows that or those wallets that has been used by Satoshi? I'm interested to see it, I can't remember if I saw that before but I'm out of my mind now and want to see it again.
I think satoshi nakamoto will be in the top 10 richest person in this world. But how they count this richest status??
Base on assets, liabilities, net worth, properties, businesses and other profitable source from the people who are going to be on that spot of richest people in the world.

If someone can track Satoshi Nakamoto's bitcoin wallets, I think he is not in the pseudonym of "Satoshi Nakamoto" today and he is been identified in his or their real name. We all know that bitcoin wallets don't have their names on it so we can't know who is the owner of that wallet (unless his bitcoin address was specified in his forum account or he posted it notifying people about it).
