3961  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance lost $40.7 million to hackers, which exchange is next!!! on: August 26, 2019, 03:15:45 PM
your thoughts are wrong because in the online world everything is possible and everything is hackable  . binance should have a sticker security for now but there is no guarantee that it could make them safe  .
You can prevent these incidents by taking good security measures by getting trigger warning when something fishy is going on, they got the trigger after the hacker's already withdrew the amount, so basically it their fault for not configuring their system to get prompt response. You will not hear many stock exchanges hack, it is because if they see any unusual activity they will shut down the entire system and will restart when they think it is safe and then verify and carry on with the process, we need those kind of strict security measure from crypto based exchanges too.
3962  Local / India / Re: Where are the founders of Co insecure? on: August 26, 2019, 02:47:49 PM
Coinsecure won't be launching again as they got hacked (even if RBI lifts the ban) so no point waiting for them. Benson hasn't been active since 2018 even though he logs in regularly.
Last year i remember Benson telling that they will back and they are going through legal things at that time and then they will relaunch again, since that i never heard about them in the public. May be Benson has no further updates regarding the relaunch, they gave a better rate than the rest of the exchanges and i personally like to see them again.

I hope Benson is seeing this thread, we would like to hear from you regarding this.

Shocking to see how WI collapsed before putting any fight against India.
India does have the best bowling unit and i already said earlier if there is any assistance from the pitch any batsman in the world will find it difficult to play against Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Ishant Sharma and Bhuvneshwar Kumar and for the talent of fast bowlers India does have right now is the best lineup they ever had historically and Bumrah is unplayable and he is the first Asian bowler to pick 5 wickets in an innings against major Test playing nations which is incredible.
3964  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins Worth $1 Million Seized by Court to Compensate Cyber Attack Victims on: August 26, 2019, 10:24:32 AM
In the first-ever case of its kind, a British judge has ordered confiscation of Bitcoins worth $1 million from a jailed hacker.
It is a really great turn of events, the hacker had a dream of living a luxury free life by stealing other people's hard work and earnings and now he is behind bars and the time he spent stealing others are gone. I wish all the hackers go through the same phase and i am certain that majority of hacks will come to light in the future and all the culprits will be behind bars and their loot returned to the rightful owners and hopefully this is just the beginning.

There are no possible way in test match to be a tie not even in theory :-P
Historically we had tied Test match if you were not aware of that. Wink

India vs Australia, 1986 was a tied Test match

Australia vs West Indies, 1960 Another tied Test match
Tongue
So basically it is possible. England reaches 358 runs and then they loose their final wicket and viola we have a tied Test match. Kiss

Ben Stokes just reached his century and he is knocking the bowlers all over the ground and he is in beast mode, just 18 more runs to win and it will be historic, i am watching the match live and the scenes took me back to the 2005 Ashes which was another thriller.

3968  Local / India / Re: Stop blaming bitcoin | Don't fall for Matrix or HYIP on: August 25, 2019, 02:28:27 PM
SEBI has failed big time in educating general mass from the risk of such ponzi investment, which is their primary job! As a result now bitcoin is being linked with the ponzi scams. It's a big failure of the regulatory body who didn't apply their mind in studying cryptos properly!
The problem is that most of the middle class and lower class people fall for these scams as they will be convinced with all the fancy data they provide on how to become rich within a short period of time, the government has proposed a bill to ban unregulated deposit schemes this year and most of the big time ponzi scams will shut their doors if it is implemented.
The comical part here is that fiat is used for centuries to run ponzi scams around the world and i never heard anyone blaming fiat currency, but when these fraudsters started collecting money in the name of bitcoin, all the government want to blame is bitcoin. The reality is that you can find reasons to hate anything in this world but you should have some logic and we are yet to see the logical reasoning from the government.

News article regarding the bill.

Root is doing his job very well now. So far 46 not out.
Things turned out like what i predicted with Root playing a long innings and Stokes is still in the crease but 100 more runs to get and Woakes is batting along side Stokes and if England can pull this victory it will be a historic win for England with the score they had in the first innings.

Butler just gone, run out. As of now, they need 106 more runs to win. Australia is now back in the match. If they can took Stoke earlier, it will be easier win for them. What a dramatic match.
Run outs were the last thing they needed at this stage, this is a Test match for god's sake

Who could believe England getting all out for 67 could dream for a chase of 358?
Here i predicted the possibility for England to chase this target Wink

What if the match ends up in a tie  Grin .

EDiT:

Edit: Oh my! 7th down but English can still breath. Stokes is there.
Finally Hazlewood is striking again.
Another wicket gone and the only thing i want to see now is Stokes taking risk and score boundaries rather than giving strike to the tail. It is really difficult for England to win from this stage.
3970  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase UK drops Zcash on: August 25, 2019, 12:46:09 PM
This must either be a demand from their new bank, or they're desperately looking for another one and this is to kiss the botty of any bank nervous about getting involved in this area. I can well see this happening for other privacy coins in future, not that Zcash is fully that.
It is the demand from their new banking partner and i expect this fate with almost all of the exchanges in the future as they will be forced to remove privacy based coins if they want to continue with them, with regulations coming up it is expected that the regulators will have a tough stance against privacy coins, in five years time i expect that we can trade these privacy coins only in underground exchanges.
3971  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Otto Wallins on: August 24, 2019, 03:09:09 PM
I mean really is this the best opponent they could find for this TYSON FURY character come on  Huh
We all want to see TYSON compete with 1 other person WILDER so anything other then that is just going to be very long shots
We will see the rematch between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder and it is inevitable unless Tyson Fury retires again because he lost interest in the sport  Grin. The interesting matches all the fights fans are waiting for are Anthony Joshua V Andy Ruiz rematch and i would like to see what all adjustments Joshua made coming into the fight and then power house of Fury and Wilder going for their rematch, boxing fans are having a great time with all these interesting fights and it is a win for the sports.
3972  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: August 24, 2019, 01:44:27 PM
Back to the match, England seems following the same route ((I suspect)) they gone in their first innings. They lost both of their openers and only 25 runs on the board.
The only approach that is going to be successful will be Root playing a captains innings and spending as much time in the crease and rotating the strike and scoring runs without taking any risk, that is easier said and done, Australia does have a good bowling line up and if England needs to win they must be able to extend the score above 250 without loosing much wickets and by that time if Stokes, Bairstow or Buttler are in the crease, it would be a dream scenario  Cheesy.

Cricketers need to present themselves decently and in India many cricketers have been warned like earlier Hardik came on KWK and spoke about his affairs so he was warned.
Hardik came under fire because of his lack of respect for women, this is 2019 and if you are misogynistic and then come in a national television show and say those things, you will get in trouble and that is what happened.
3973  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance hacked again 10k+ KYC (FACEBOOK 2.0 LEAKAGE) on: August 24, 2019, 11:56:45 AM
No. Your KYC information doesn't give anyone access to your accounts. If that was possible your friends and family who know your name, birthday, names of your parents and other things would be able to steal from you.

KYC information is used only because there are money laundering laws and they need to verify that one person is not using 10 or more accounts and that the name used to register is not stolen. They don't use this data to secure the account.
Have you approached a bank or any financial services when you are not able to log into your account and even with exchanges and fiat based gambling sites, to verify you are the real person behind the call they will ask some basic things which are submitted through KYC like your date of birth and other personal details and if you are able to convince the support team, they might give the access to you or will provide further details about the balance you are holding in the account and so on, identity theft is a major issue everywhere and if these details are out in the public,it will be easier for criminals to take advantage of these sensitive information.
3974  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: August 23, 2019, 02:54:35 PM
The old man was lucky, the punch didn't hit him directly, otherwise you will be knock out cold by Conor. Or it could be probably a setup, we don't know. We all know that Conor is good promoting himself and we have seen him acting strange in the public, so I' not surprised by this publicity stunt.
I do not think this as a set up and the video is sold to TMZ for a huge amount and Conor McGregor will not do that to tarnish his reputation for hitting an old man for not drinking his whiskey, this is a sucker move by all means, if he wants to fight do that in the Octagon or in the gym and not go in the public and start a fight with old people and that too for not respecting his offer of free drinks. Conor McGregor admitted his fault about his altercation in the pub and these acts will not gain him many fans, even if he wants to come back to fight there are no easier fights for him, it is funny to see all his excuses about his loss against Khabib.
3975  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: August 23, 2019, 02:14:36 PM
England had their best chance to win a Test match in this series but their betting line up is showing the worse commitment LOL
England does have a great limited over team and hence they were able to win the World Cup and that too with a bit of luck on their side, earlier they did have great Test players and their limited over side was almost the same and hence they were not world beaters during those times, to perform well in Test cricket you need to have a good defense and none of the English batsman proved their defensive technique till now, they are aggressive in their approach which only helps in the limited format and not in the real Test Wink.
3976  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are banks scared of crypto on: August 23, 2019, 01:47:36 PM
What is your thoughts on banks banning the sales of crypto do you think they are scared they will be replaced
The crypto market is not meant to replace any financial sector but to make things easier for everyone to trade without any restrictions, if you are a global trader you will understand the difficulties when it comes to conversion and transaction charges as well as delays, bitcoin opens the world for a free global trade without the need of a central bank to process these transactions world wide, it will take care of local transaction and for that we need banks.
3977  Economy / Exchanges / Re: where can I buy and sell bitcoins on: August 23, 2019, 11:47:34 AM
now I want to join back. I'm interested in METAL . I looked at coinbase but they don't offer METAL.
Any idea where I can buy METAL + I need a good offline wallet. which offline wallet do you recomemend ?
Here is the link to check what all exchanges you can trade METAL , in the list of exchanges provided i use Bittrex as i never had any issues till now. I cannot find any offline wallet for METAL, but on their official site there is one available on the App Store for iOS devices. Make sure you hold the coins in the wallets provided by the official team or else you might loose your coins.
Still not clear which country you are from, you can purchase bitcoin from LBC or Paxful.
3978  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you believe stolen funds should be returned to their owner? on: August 23, 2019, 11:00:08 AM
Do you get them returned  or in a decentralized system are they lost forever?
If the stolen funds are not moved you cannot really do anything about it but there are ways to track the tainted coins and if there is a crowd funded security team to monitor all the tainted coins and wallets and their movements and inform all the exchanges in real time, then these tainted coins will be useless, even now there will be a point of exit if these stolen funds are to be converted, there were instances in the past where stolen funds were recovered with the help of exchanges, so anything possible.
3979  Local / India / Re: Stop blaming bitcoin | Don't fall for Matrix or HYIP on: August 23, 2019, 08:52:59 AM
People always look for other reasons to put a veil on their mistakes. We feel sorry for newbies but in general people should know these things because it happens not only in crypto world but in actual world as well.
I have met many victims of these frauds and for the past two years i came across many people who invested their money into these fraudsters schemes, the most common theme i saw is that these fraudsters approach women who are salaried or small business owners and convince them about bitcoin and then they will orchestrate their plan about their fake coins and to have legitimacy they will have a neatly designed website and promise a good return than any other investment, it is really sad to see how they were scammed promising huge returns but still there are people who are convinced that they will have their profits, i will post the name of the coins after sometime as i do not remember those from the back of my head as there are many scam coins and some are listed in CMC too which is why some are still optimistic  Roll Eyes.
3980  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: August 22, 2019, 02:46:29 PM
Felt bad for Mayank but that's fine because Windies seamers doing good job and i was expecting KL to get out cheaply but he's struggling so far.
Kohli is gone as well.
The toss was crucial and all the Indian batsmen has to do is to survive the first two hours and then the pitch will ease up, India does have a formidable bowling line up which will trouble this West Indies team and i am sure Jadeja, Sharma, Mohammed Shami and Bumrah could trouble any batsman in world cricket and if there is any assistance from the pitch then they will be deadly for any batsman. I hope Rahane and Rahul could play a long innings to save the team from this situation.
