3961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unfinished Projects on: May 11, 2020, 06:47:44 AM

always researching projects that you want to invest in, new projects are too vulnerable in my opinion to be made an investment place, but if you want to invest in new projects, make sure the projects have real products and their sales are held in popular markets

If we have an old project that is still reliable until now, then there is no reason to look for new projects.
Our main purpose is just to be profitable, and though the project is not new anymore, as long as they have good potential, they can still produce a good profit.
3962  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Mayor Wants to Re-open Casinos. Thoughts? on: May 11, 2020, 06:21:31 AM
The governments are overreacting and we shouldn't force people to stay at home if they feel healthy and want to take a risk. I have been taking a risk since day 1 and feel great.

wow, because you were able to survive it doesn't mean other people will survive as well.

We have different strength, some are weak, some does have a good immune system, if this is no threat then it would not be considered as a pandemic and it will not result to a global crisis now, BTW, may I ask what country you are living right now? I'm interested, I would like to check the number of cases in your country.
3963  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: May 11, 2020, 06:04:47 AM
I noticed that too, sometimes they explode, KCP and Bradley at the same time are both good 3 point shooters, but of course if they can get a consistent shooters, that would help the team a lot. This two should remain.
I'd still pick KCP rather than Danny Green. As said, their offense is already good with AD and LBJ, but they will need stops to gain the momentum.
I don't know what's your basis, but the way I see it, it seems like Danny green is a better defender, and this guy has a lot of championship experience and has become a champion many times. He came from the Spurs, and I just like how the spurs trained their players in terms of defense.

What do you mean? Iasenko and hugeblack. Are you leaving this campaign on your own will?

Based on the spreadsheet, https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/17P52DifaD7YfvzLkX3wrxGVpKcaPHY4y57ZpI-FK754/edit#gid=1655686157
you can see that both members are mark "removed".. So I guess this opens up for the new participants of the campaign, but we will wait til there's a formal announcement.
3965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market stability is not ascertain. We might fall again on: May 08, 2020, 06:18:04 AM
As we all know,  it's just few days to bitcoin halving,  the market stability might not be ascertain, but I will advise you guys no to short either, lots of people have been wrecked shorting Btc think that it will go back to $8400 after touching $9200, currently it's around $9800+, you don't fight the trend, you get hurt trying to fight the Trend,  we are in bullish trend right now,  as for me what I'm doing currently is either I long Btc when I see a good entry or I stay flat and watch the market rather than shorting the bullish trend
Well, those who short bitcoin now made a wrong decision, this time, it's the people wins the game, I think there's so much hype on the halving and that is the reason why bitcoin crossed $10,000, we might be seeing bitcoin back below $10,000 now but for sure another pump is about to happen, so let watch it as the market is about to change from bearish to bullish this year, it's gonna be a remarkable year for crypto investors if bitcoin will reach a new ATH as the stocks are suffering while bitcoin is going to the moon again.
3966  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: May 08, 2020, 06:00:22 AM
I think they will only trade Turner and they will keep Oladipo, but the question is who is going to be traded in Pacers in exchange of Turner.
Actually Turner as a big man is good defensively but if the pacers are looking of some offense and defense, I don't know who can provide that from the Wolves, maybe Towns, but for sure it's not gonna happen.
Turner is a very good player, but Domantas Sabonis is even better, imho, so you gotta do what you gotta do. It ain't easy to let player like Turner go, but in current NBA i don't think that you can use 2 big guys at the same time and fight for championship.  And it's not fair to both those payer, to constantly share game time, and not using them to fullest potential.I agree with Oladipo part as well, Pacers will wait for him. I doubt that they can get player similar to his level before injury, and without player like him, they won't be contenders, and that;s something I would really like to see, as I am fan of those kind of teams, that come from smaller markets.

With that being said, I doubt that Turner would like to end up in the team like Timberwolves as they are complete mess (not that he will any say about that though), and from that article, I don't think that Wolves can offer anything good for him.

He is good of course especially this season where I can see he has improve a lot, but in terms of consistency, I see it on Turner because his position being a center fits for him, so if you are saying that Sabonis will be Center when Turner will be traded, that will still remain to be seen if he will be effective in that position.
3967  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: May 08, 2020, 03:58:15 AM

See? There's no way for PBA to resume the games unless they've got a private island with appropriate facilities like UFC Grin.

UFC is different, it's the game of 2 fighters in the ring only, we are talking of basketball, there is a team with trainer and coaches, that means a lot of people are involve, so it's not gonna happen and there's no way they will break a law when they know how the government penalize law breakers.
3968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: COVID19 and Its effect on Bitcoin & Altcoin Price? Your Thoughts ! on: May 08, 2020, 03:01:47 AM
Crypto does not mind the covid-19, while the stocks are down, this upcoming halving gives a lot of reason for the investors to put their money on bitcoin, and we are seeing the effect now, it seems like bitcoin is now ready for a bull run, hopefully this is not just a bull trap like we have been seeing in the past, this time we have some good reason to witness a bull run, and crypto is attractive to the eyes of some investors who failed in stocks.
3969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: May 08, 2020, 02:33:09 AM
There are a number of factors and you can always blame the victims for getting fooled so easily. But at the same time, some of the blame should be placed on the authorities as well. In many of the nations, cryptocurrency is still not 100% legal. I am talking about countries such as India and China. And this pushes the trade underground, and as a result the scammers are getting a greater chance to play their dirty tricks.

It is already legal in India, this year they lifted the ban on cryptocurrency.

The Supreme Court of India has ruled against a decision imposed by the country's central bank nearly two years ago that stifled crypto trading in Asia's third-largest economy.

In China, bitcoin is still ban.
3970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never Before Experience On Gambling...!!!! Stay Safe. on: May 08, 2020, 02:15:46 AM
I am considering to quit gambling now but even if I gamble I will make sure I gamble with lower stakes and try to avoid gambling on working days and only gamble on weekends (although during this tough time we are all feeling like all the days as weekend but nothing to do).
Just don't quit, if you are a gambler, you'll certainly miss gambling, so maybe the best way to keep the fun is just to gamble a small amount and you'll be safe while you are having fun. At this situation, we need to have fun too, we can't just stay home and be bored all the time, this quarantine or lock down might take awhile.

This just popped out of my chrome application.

Quote
Dylan Jackson put together a great hypothetical trade breakdown for Timberwolves fans at Dunking With Wolves looking at how Myles Turner could be the Wolves’ third star if they trade for him.

It's just a blueprint if ever Pacers will ever trade him. But I doubt that.  Grin

Pacers looking strong with their current rosters. If this kind of trade be at function it might be Oladipo be at risk if he can't play the same thing he was before, IMO only. Don't get me wrong, I don't like Oladipo being traded, fans really loves him though.

Same idea.
Oladipo though is still in the healing process specially mentally. So I think, they will still give him a chance on that.
What could be the better proposal?
Hmm, don't trade anyone?
Yes, that is better. I would vote for that if ever they will make a poll before deciding.
Pacers is a strong team, they might just need to improve it.

3972  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have control or not? on: May 07, 2020, 01:02:00 PM
Spending too much money on gambling is bad especially if you can't handle the consequences that you may face if you lose all of it.

This kind of attitude alone would certainly make you regret in the end, spending too much money is out of principle in gambling, because we just have to spend money that we can afford to lose. spending too much is like getting out of control already and it will normally result to bigger problem.
3973  Economy / Economics / Re: Get ready for more tax. Save your BTC! on: May 07, 2020, 11:55:36 AM
I meditate the authority will not produce taxes as each person cannot earn a large amount currency compared to before.
They would not do that now, there is a timing for everything and that's definitely after the pandemic.
here's what is happening, now that people are not allowed to run their business, the government will give them the support but in return, the government will have to increase the taxes once the pandemic is over as they have big loses at this time, so we can expect it will certainly happen, this would happen in countries who are affected with the covid-19 heavily.
3974  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: May 07, 2020, 09:50:39 AM
That is so true. Controversy sells. That is how it is in real life regarding news agencies. Why should a headline saying "Jordan is a great dad" sell? That does not spark anything in anybody's mind. You say "Jordan is now addicted to gambling, losing millions" and that's something an ordinary man would pick up. So everybody's specifically writing that and let everybody else entertain themselves and their imaginations with it.
That's the media, they always report something that is negative because it catches the eyes of the many, we already know that Jordan is great both as a player and a dad, so it's not new anymore but they report that Jordan is gambling or has a gambling addiction, people will begin to speculate and that makes the story very interesting.
3975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are u buying alts? on: May 07, 2020, 09:28:30 AM
well yes there is no harm in diversifying your portfolio with some good altcoins. And as the bitcoin halving is just around the corner many are already talking about the alt-season and most of us have seen 2017 bull run so we know some crazy ROI's but things are not the same so don't expect huge gains like we had but still worth a shot.
I guess we have already seen a lot of bitcoin, it has pump already so if this will continue post halving, then I would say we have a chance to see altcoins to start growing as well. Investing in altcoins in the last 2 years does not bring profit, unless if you are lucky enough to invest on those who pump but in general, altcoins market are not profitable yet.
3976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC bottom is yet to come??? on: May 06, 2020, 11:25:14 PM
I couldn't see Bitcoin bottoming to $4k for 6 months months at least, it's looking quite hopeful right now but it always has its drops and evens out eventually but I'm praying for another crypto craze month like a few years back, those are the days we all need to see!

We are all waiting for that time to come, but it seems it will not gonna come easy.
I am not negative here, I am just trying to be realistic because the last time there was a bull run, I remember it was for all, but this time is for bitcoin mostly.
But we must understand that the circumstances of the market have changed radically, back in those days people still had a lot of faith in altcoins and they were willing to invest in all kind of projects, but since then things have changed as people realized that the number of scams in the market is simply unacceptable and they are not willing to invest in those projects as they did before, as such it makes sense that if a new bull run were to take place then only bitcoin and a few selected altcoins will be the ones that grow up the most while the rest of the coins remain static or even go down.
Maybe we can give some possibility to pump for good altcoins, usually on major altcoins but I am not expecting a very great growth like in the past, x10 might be so high to achieve and we will not be able to see x100 in just a short period of time.

As you can see, the dominant rate of bitcoin is still very high, the last time I remember, dominant rate drop to 30% and that gives way for the altcoins to rise significantly and they also have a good share of the market that they are notice by investors.
3977  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is like day trading ? on: May 06, 2020, 10:56:18 PM
In trade, in all cases, you need a skill, there to rely on luck is stupid.

Definitely but you can still trade even if you rely on skills, just like gambling, but if you want to be profitable in the long run, don't rely on luck but on your skills as that would give someone consistency on what he does either in gambling or trading.

Some people are serious with gambling, they hope to be lucky but they have so much trust on their skills because they build it and develop it to give them consistency on winning, so maybe people have different approach in gambling and some does not believe that skills could give you a win but me I do believe as long as you gamble on games where your skills can be useful.
3978  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Mayor Wants to Re-open Casinos. Thoughts? on: May 06, 2020, 10:31:51 PM
unfortunately with all the displeasure and solidarity towards the employees of these casinos who are at home at the moment I believe that for now it is impossible to reopen safely, the virus is still lurking, they must wait to be able to reopen in complete safety without any risk...
These employees are like to be layoff for a year because according to some expert, it will take a year for the vaccine to be produce, that means no income for them until that time happen, so they need to find another alternative to make money at the moment which is very hard if they don't have a skill to work online, they just have to be realistic, not hoping for something to come when it's almost not possible, and for this mayor, she should not give hope to these people that he can re open a casino amidst this pandemic.
3979  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering More or Wagering Less on: May 06, 2020, 11:39:28 AM
I don't really care about the reward, when I am gambling, my only intention is to win and I will have to base my strategy on the bankroll I have, so if I have a decent bankroll then I will definitely wager more and that's good as it will bring more fun as a gambler.

most of the sites now have a lot of of promotions, especially on the dice where there's is a leaderboard and you are entitled for a reward if you reach such figure but I am not really active participating on that kind of promotion.

The profit this week is little bit higher last week and it's been a good week for yolodice!
Good to hear that, it seems like your investment is having a good start, well I am hoping it will continue because we all love to see our brothers here to be  profitable.

What are your thoughts this week?  Grin
I think the trend will follow, you'll still be profitable and it will keep increasing since you having divest your investment yet.
it's still too early to conclude, I'll think of putting some investment in this site after at least 3 months of monitoring your journey.
