3961  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Philippine Basketball Association Semi Finals Discussion on: August 05, 2019, 11:51:20 PM

TNT drew the first blood. 109-96

TNT import Terrence Jones producing 41 big points and 12 rebounds. He always breaks SMB's defense even how strong it is.

And another one that kills them is the outside shooting of TNT. I know SMB will do changes next game but still... TNT! Smiley

My beermen is in bad shape if this kind of game continues to happen.the shooting from outside of tnt is very consistent that the San Miguel men cannot defend

But this is too early to predict since there are 6 games to come(hopefully can reach that final game 7)

Is there some of you us already put some bets for their team?or are you betting per Game and not for the whole Finals?

I saw someone’s offering but maybe I will consider a per Game bet than the final result

SMB is not in bad shape. TNT's import Jones is just unstoppable.

Your SMB did their best to stop him but as I said, Jones is not only the problem that SMB faces.

Let's see how Austria will setup a plan to stopped Jones while not leaving the TNT's outside shooters open.

Alaska and Ginebra both have won a piece against TNT, I guess the SMB coaching staff has to review that on how those teams were able to execute to beat the TNT. Jones is a big problem, and in game 1, his 3 point shooting is also good because he was so confident that his teammates are shooting well, SMB with 2 days off needs to put more time to analyze game 1 loss as well, if they can solve the puzzle, maybe they'll win game 2.

In game 1, Jones scored 41 points, they need to limit that to at least 20 and be more physical in game 2.
3962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think can affect the Binance coin on: August 05, 2019, 11:20:25 PM
It will if the exchange they are going to launch will be a success, Binance and coinbase has build their exchange and has improve it through time and it would not be easy for the newcomer to just get a big share of the total traders because they claim they are faster or they are better, that needs to be prove and they shall only see it once they are already live.

Moreover, if this will really become popular, this is good for us since this gives us another option to where we can trade and this market will not only be monopolize by a small number of big exchanges.
3963  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Idea of exchange platform on: August 05, 2019, 10:47:12 PM
But now I don't have the financial resources to implement it.

Can you give me a comment?

Try to create a team and run and ICO, it might not guarantee a success but who knows, at least you can benefit on your idea unlike selling it in an exchange that you don't know if they'll appreciate it or will just steal your idea in case.
3964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Dex exchanges are safe? on: August 05, 2019, 09:53:34 PM
As my opinion it's safe. Atleast safer than centralised Exchanges. If you have full access of your private key and phrase then there is no problem. Just use some popular Dex don't put your phrase or private key in a new Dex. And one more thing beware of scams. There is many Dex sites which is not original they are phishing sites of some popular Dex and if you trapped there  that will be a real problem.
In general view, DEX is not safer than centralized exchange, that's very obvious, otherwise, DEX have already gain bigger volume compared to centralized exchange and we will see more coins trading in the exchange. DEX is for small traders only but those who trade with bigger money, they prefer centralized exchange as they can own a password, have their account with 2FA which is not possible with DEX as it's pretty risky to input your private key if you don't know how to minimize that risk.
3965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: August 05, 2019, 09:16:58 PM
According to him, he can provide leadership within a team, you thoughts?
IMHO, he's better to be managed by others or go under others umbrella rather than lead a team.

He can't lead a team anymore, he has given a chance to lead NYK but there was no improvement on the team.
He needs to go down from his superstar mentality, I'm sure there's still a lot of teams that will sign him since he can still play and he has accomplish a lot throughout his career, except to become an NBA champion.
Right, he has to step out of his comfort zone and start to obey whoever the team leader he will have in his potential team. He has that kind of mentality that has been brought by his past experiences but he has to adjust, he's no longer on his comfort.
I'm not saying he's desperate to become a leader but he needs to downgrade if he still wanted to be adopted by teams and then showcase himself and prove them wrong when he's got in.
He has a disappointing performance in his last 2 teams, he should have learn on that, and use the break he has to think over and analyze his mistakes.
Though he is not getting any younger anymore, at 35 years old, he still has a lot to offer, but to lead a team? he should give that to the younger once and just contribute more on helping the team based on his experience.
3966  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price, am I right? on: August 05, 2019, 11:29:49 AM
Exactly, it's based on supply and demand and that's the nature of crypto assets, except those stable coins.
Bitcoin has a high demand now compared to the entire market of altcoins, it's currently holding a dominant rate of 68% as of this time and that makes investors of bitcoin profitable over investors of altcoins. However, since you are not in the early stage of investment, you should also consider doing the right timing when you enter and buy.
3967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: August 05, 2019, 10:44:51 AM
Is there any news on when Ethereum 2.0 will appear?
Articles says around 2020.
https://cryptobriefing.com/getting-ready-stake-ethereum/

I’m anxiously waiting for the 2.0 update. Do you think similar movements will happen like with the BTC halvening? I know it’s totally different, but it’s both a big thing tho.

We might see a positive movement once there will be a specific date on the announcement, that's considered as a big news and ETH badly need that as BTC's dominance keep increasing and that makes ETH and the rest of the altcoins dump.
3968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Philippine Basketball Association Semi Finals Discussion on: August 05, 2019, 09:53:27 AM
What a game 1 beat down. SMB started really well which is unusual because they are known to start slow. I don't know if it's just me but they got lazy in defense and in controlling the board. Well done to TNT.
They will adjust and improve in game 2, I don't see a blow out win again by TNT in case they can still win game 2 to take the series to 2-0.
SMB is a good team but Terrence Jones is a super Import with a real NBA caliber, they should focus on stopping him or minimize his contribution at least.
Betting on SMB in game 2 and maybe double in game 3 if they loss, this is one of the strategy I'm considering of using, if we want to parlay, this is the best time to do it, SMB would not be sweep in this series, it's too much, they have the pride and they'll play harder.
3969  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bittrex scam they did not open my account 12,7 BTC ( 134.000 dolar ) on: August 05, 2019, 07:57:55 AM
The right away of making a scam accusation is not only attaching photos, you should write something on how this situation happen, the community can't be one sided here, we want to evaluate your evidence altogether with your statement.
3970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Philippine Basketball Association Semi Finals Discussion on: August 05, 2019, 03:36:41 AM
SMB just didn't play well last night, and because of that, I lose all my bets I shared here.
I like the situation of the SMB here that they are the underdog, and I don't think they will be sweep in this series so I will keep betting on them.

I am wondering what would be the line for game 2, SMB should be +5 or more, and I'll bet on the ML for that.
3971  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: August 04, 2019, 10:42:40 AM
Is it really because of performance? age? competition? that's why no team from 82 teams aren't showing interest for this guy?
I don't want to think of other reason aside from his poor performance because we can't justified that, Yao Ming is an Asian and he played many seasons in the NBA, I hope this is just all about business and nothing more personal like discrimination.

It looks to me that everything is based on performance. Yao Ming is different though, nothing to do with race, its just his body didn't hold up, knees keeps falling him so he decided to quit even though to us fans he has a lot of basketball years ahead of him. NBA players are improving in the last 10 years so more likely Jeremy didn't have the tools right now to stay on the high level of playing.
More new and younger players are improving but Jeremy is unfortunately the opposite of improvement, it's pretty evident on his stats.
Too much discussion for Lin, I think we should move on and discuss the latest significant news in the NBA.

PBA finals  SMB vs TNT game 1 is up.

https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/basketball/philippines/pba-commissioner-cup/tnt-katropa-san-miguel-beermen-5d44f405e37942077d77477f

I'm surprise SMB is the underdog here, I mean heavy underdog because they are +5.5 to get the best odds with best chance.

Doing some experiment here, I like the SMB odds at this game.

SMB -2.5 @ 3.05
SMB and over 198.5 @ 5.00
TNT/SMB (halftime/Full time) @ 11
SMB 26+ @101
.

Even in Cloudbet where I always bet PBA games, SMB is the underdog there but I'm not surprised because base on the roster and the performance TNT has a better performance compare to SMB. One reason too why SMB is underdog is their standings I think. Anyway, lets just watch them later and lets enjoy. I wish I had some beer on my side while watching  Cheesy Cheesy

My prediction will be SMB in 7 Games Cheesy.

I think this line is so fishy, I hope I'm wrong with what's on my mind right now.
Even if SMB is an underdog but they should not be +5.5, I wish we have some update on what's happening inside like the NBA where there's a lot of source of information.

A little update ,SMB is +4.5 now, maybe money are coming in from SMB faithful.

3973  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Just Broke $10k on: August 04, 2019, 06:59:07 AM
We are in the weekend and bitcoin still strong to increase. Hopefully, it could reach a higher price in the next week. I speculate to myself if the price can break $11k today, the price can increase higher tomorrow, but that will depend on the market movements too. The chart itself gives nice progress of the price, and from a few hours ago, bitcoin price still increases. Right now, the current price is at $10,800 according to bitstamp so we are close to reaching $11k and maybe we don't need to wait too long to see it reach that price.
That's weird, it's suppose to be selling time now as people loves to cash out in weekends, but it's a different trend we are seeing now.
I have no doubt that BTC could again break to $11,000, BTC is just stable increasing now, and we just need an increase of $200 now to break $11K.
Well, people are too greedy after seeing the last known highest price, why would they have to sell now at this current rate of the market? Maybe some of them are starting to sell half of their portfolio's list to either buy Bitcoin or altcoins. People are HODLing right now since the current price is just a startup after that long weekend of staying in an almost bearish trend.
Maybe that's the initial reaction since  uptrend has just started, when price are once again stable, then maybe we will see the usual weekend sell.
Everyone is just observing right now, so far today, most dumps are just from the altcoins market.

Is the line for game 1 is already up? I like to know if SMB is really the favorite in game 1 so like I you, I could also put my bet on the TNT.
If they can't stop Jones, then I don't think they will beat the TNT in best of 7 games in the Finals.
For sure the focus of the SMB's defense would be on Jones. Force him to take the 3's as his percentage on that area is not that high and double when he slash to the basket and guard those kick out pass as the rainbow connection of Jones' team mates were the ones killing the Barangay. Easier said that done but SMB is capable of beating TnT Katropa here.
SMB is the best team in the PBA, it only happens TNT is a contender now because they have the best import.
Jones will not shoot 3s his skills is to drive down the lane and do a kick out pass if he get's doubled or tipple, and TNT's local now are in high confidence as they just beat one of the best team in the PBA. Man, there's a reason why TNT finished as the number 1 during the regular conference.
3976  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Just Broke $10k on: August 03, 2019, 06:19:13 AM
I'm happy to see that the price reached this psychological barrier, if we'll hold it for a few weeks, then we'll see new price spikes - $15,000 and $18,000, maybe even above $20,000. Now is a good time to buy if you are still not sure, because soon people will blame themselves for not buying below $10k.
I'm expecting that price be achieve in the last quarter of this year, we need to see this price hold on because it's been weeks when BTC was trading below $10K and if it reach $10K, it never stayed longer, this time it was able to rise and will soon  trading at $11,000.

Trading volume is slowly increasing as well, but at the moment, it's all BTC and I'm afraid as BTC rises, altcoins might again get affected negatively.

$10862 is currently the 24 hours high in https://www.binance.com/en/trade/BTC_USDT.

3978  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Libra Disrupt The Financial/Economic System? on: August 03, 2019, 02:35:04 AM
There is very less possibility for libra to financially disrupt the financial economic system. This is no different from the regular money, libra is digitized which is the only difference. I consider libra the same way as the mobile wallets serve or the inbuilt wallet services of Marketplaces like Amazon pay.
It will I guess because it will affect the business of the remittance centers, banks, and etch, which are costly and slow in terms of transaction.
With Libra, you can send instant money just like sending message from your facebook account, that's what I understand.

Unfortunately, we’re not offering outright bets for the mentioned league.  Sad

It's okay, I understand, my request is just too hard as I don't see this series in other gambling sites as well, but I'm still hoping in the future this will be possible.

Thank you for giving your time to reply on my request.
