3961  Economy / Economics / Re: Here is the biggest problem with cryptos on: July 29, 2020, 06:00:34 PM
From the discussion posted before me, if you have only concerned about fees, then you would just use the least expensive of any of the mentioned payment processes. You cannot escape it entirely the charges because of the need for different methods and energy consumption of computers and mining rigs, etc.

I hope you wouldn't be so cynical about this because there are a lot of friendly things that custodial wallets that are easy to use, and transactions are free if you are sending it to another account in the same corporation. There is always a way.
3962  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion to reduce MegaSpam threads . on: July 29, 2020, 08:42:12 AM
Personally, when one of my topics has received plenty of replies, it's enough IMO, and I close it and post last on that specific topic telling others that I'm going to close it. I think it's good practice wherever you may be, not just here in BTCT but in other forums as well. The best thing for members is to report threads, just like what others posted here and know from your POV if it's worthy or spammy, etc.

A great goal for reporting is to unlock the "Your report history" when you press the report to the moderator and see if you have good quality etc.
3963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is XLM ready to breakout? on: July 28, 2020, 01:42:33 PM
I think if you have insider information with regards to what the project is planning to do and if that plan is going to be widespread I think it’s safe to say that it’s going to be bullish about it. But if we are talking about on your chart, I think the best way that we know what will happen is staying on that range between those support lines and not breaking them. I think it’s best to risk what we can afford to lose for sure.
3964  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A trap of how newbies get scammed on: July 28, 2020, 01:09:03 AM
I don't know if it completely the scammer's fault but the user themselves. Believing in something this ridiculous could either lose every bitcoin that you have or land in jail if the law enforcement in the users country is not allowing that. For example, the Ponzi schemes that appear everywhere, taking everybody's money foolish enough to have downlines, etc. I think the best approach to this is education towards people not to invest in this type of scheme.
3965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum : Its not too late on: July 27, 2020, 05:18:12 AM
I think more than everyone that posted in here, and it's safe to say that it depends on what you believe in. If you believe that investment in ETH is excellent, buy ETH. If you think it's at its peak, don't invest and wait for the retracement, whenever that is. Depending on the amount you are going to risk in this investment, it should be well within your reach for sure. Knowing how much you are willing to risk and lose would be crucial in how you are going to do well in the long run, risk management.

Great way to share your video here too  Wink.

3967  Economy / Reputation / Re: OgNasty/nonnakip Gold/Refund Demand Supposedly "Sold Out" Funds Held on: July 27, 2020, 01:08:24 AM
I think it's natural that shops give an invoice whether or not the transaction has gone through and send invoices with the registered email or something. Daily recordings of business transactions are crucial when running a business. Having access to your website is crucial too, IMO. At least you could have control over stuff as well. I hope you get your refund soon.

Edit: I just noticed that you're requesting a refund to a different address than the one(s) you paid from. This can be an issue.
Maybe sign a message from where the BTC was stored initially?
3968  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does using trading Bots is more profitable than conventional trading? on: July 26, 2020, 04:59:11 AM
As a user myself, it could take over what you are currently doing. With my Gunbot, I chart there and TradingView is integrated to the bot and you could use alerts depending on the chart that you have and it could easily automate it for you.

Depending on your strategy, you could do almost anything with a bot. It serves as a trading tool, not completely taking over depending on your package that you have as well.
3969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hidden altcoin gem on: July 26, 2020, 01:57:35 AM
I haven’t seen or read about NWC token but if It’s going to be partnered with a giant like PayPal is going to be a big deal in my opinion.

For the technical analysis that you posted since the price is above the 200 day average it’s likely to have higher prices than that but the target area is what I’m concerned I’m not sure if the chart is using Fibonacci with that so I would like to know if the reference is from another resistance or not?
3970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do i get scammed? he want my encrypted wallet hash? on: July 25, 2020, 03:42:33 PM
I don’t know what encrypted wallet hash means, but it seems that if you have an address and that hash key encryption, you could /derive for the possible private key? It’s just a guess, but what are you using their service for, btw? I think if you are in the right server, it’s safe to consider that they are an admin. Possibly verify his identity with the service too.
3971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥[GUNBOT] Trading Bot with 136 exchanges available!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 on: July 25, 2020, 10:24:43 AM
Hello guys. I am interested and planning to buy the Gunbot starter pack for the mean time. Is it ok to only use $200 as initial trading capital? what problem should i be worried about and what are the do's and don't in the starter pack? can you guys please give me a heads up. I really appreciate it. Thanks a lot.
I would happily assist you with that for sure. The $200 could be a good start for trading. You would set the trading limit, meaning how much you are willing to trade per trade. Anyway, I will PM you too. Hoping to talk to you soon.
3972  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do hackers steal huge amounts of bitcoins? on: July 25, 2020, 09:06:49 AM
For your question in the subject, they are doing that for the ”easy money.”  I don't think they are willing to hack small amounts if the thing they are doing is complicated. And for your concerns that they can be traced, it's just like what the other members said above me; it's the mixers.

There was a time where there are a lot of mixers, but a lot has closed as well because of the track down of those mixers.
3973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trump Wins and Trump Lose tokens from Poloniex on: July 25, 2020, 04:00:42 AM
From what I Just have read in this thread, there would be two tokens called TRUMPWINS and TRUMPLOSE. So you are going to choose what side you think is going to win, and whatever results in the opposite of the winning side would be demonetized. It is gambling, IMO.
3974  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: D.C. Financial Services Law: Bitcoin is a form of money on: July 25, 2020, 02:09:03 AM
At least now,  it as an actual currency. Even though I stated in the link that it’s going to be a minimal impact towards Bitcoin in entirety, but it could be a steppingstone for everyone. This could be another reference for different cases, and maybe it could help someone in the future. We will never know until we are there. Recognition is always great, shedding some light on the good stuff is excellent as well.

3976  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Interesting research on Satoshi and his motives and actions on: July 24, 2020, 03:54:59 PM
Well, hats off to Satoshi Nakamoto for thinking ahead with the possible direction in which Bitcoin could be attacked. I think miners that are "honest" deserve the credit as well to help the 51% attack even more impossible. Anyways, I'm still curious about what Satoshi would do to the remainder BTC that is the byproduct of the mining that Patoshi had done? I hope to receive some of it. Lol.
3977  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Exchange - No kyc - 100x leverage on: July 24, 2020, 03:06:52 PM
The OP has only one post and he's promoting this exchange, which is really not the top exchange among crypto users.
It's not even in CMC and I checked. The closest exchange name to that is PrimeBit and I don't know that either.

They have very few trading pairs and according to coingecko only 9 pairs.
Upon checking their site, they also have different markets
  • Cryptocurrencies
  • Forex
  • Commodities
  • Stocks

I think having these types of choices makes it a great exchange, I'm not sure how it fairs and regulates though? I doubt they are being regulated knowing that they are a financial service.
3978  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia legalizing Bitcoin and cryptos but not allowed as payment method? on: July 24, 2020, 06:47:10 AM
So if I understood it correctly, they are actually trying to prevent peer-to-peer transactions but allowing the possibility of profiting from trading and other crowd-funding types or something? I think what they are doing is making stores not accept Bitcoin to prevent complications with taxing and other financial related with their lawmakers or something. Maybe in the future, they would be able to make it legal to accept it in normal ways or in anything.

I'm just curious if they have a custodial wallet that covers every place there? Or is the "most" being used?
3979  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Have anyone used bot to exchange BTC? on: July 24, 2020, 05:03:32 AM
Some Telegram Bots connect to exchanges that use API for trading. I tried Cornix Bot for a while, and it's just okay, nothing fancy. It has a monthly fee with its services, and I don't like the costs continuously if the bot doesn't make profits. It just doesn't make any sense.

Can you clearly state your intention here? Like are you interested in just using the bot for trading in an exchange or buy with fiat? Since you said that it's illegal in your country, it's going to be hard to purchase some of that, and I don't think bots could help you. Enlighten me if I'm wrong, please.

*edit

You got me wrong. May be I could not present myself. I want to be the dealer here and offer service to people so that they can easily buy sell bitcoin through the bot. I will be the owner of that bot. Also, if someone has used for buy/sell or someone has used as dealer, I would appreciate their feedback here.
In our country, we do not have any chance to buy/sell bitcoin for fiat in the above mentioned sites.
It depends on your customers if they are going to do it. I think automating your services with a bot would be great. I just don't know how you would be able to go completely under the radar.
3980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTO GIVEAWAYS REQUESTING YOU TO SEND FUNDS TO RECEIVE ARE SCAMS on: July 24, 2020, 02:44:53 AM
That's an immediate red flag knowing that you have to spend some money to participate. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's not always going to be a scam. Some are offering things like that through the ticketing system, and that payment is for that ticket to participate in the giveaway. I don't know what people are thinking with such live videos about it, and it's obviously using a person's name related to that topic and scam anyone gullible enough to send crypto. I think people who are going to get scammed with this method are lazy people who have lots of money to throw away, and maybe, just maybe, there's a legitimate one that could double your money.
