Glad I sold 1/4 of my shares at ~0.004 to cover my expenses of investing in the IPO Smiley Rest of the shares I'm gonna hold for a while to see if Labcoin actually succeeds in making some hardware. If it does, they are gonna go way up, if not, well, I already recovered my initial investment...

We're just about at that price point where people who wanted to get in the ipo but couldn't might make a dive in, especially seeing that people have no qualms about trading it 3+

Only 3x it ain't no sandstorm Cheesy

I made a fortune off of scamstorm  Roll Eyes  I was one of the few who scooped up shares on havelock

people complain this ipo was fucked, but nothing will top scamstorm

The price on this will run higher than what people are expecting... it's just so cheap to begin with.  Even if people sell at .002 it's cheap.  This is even more of a speculators dream than active mining.

The problem is that they dont really have anything to back it up. 130nm chips in Q4 2013? 65 nm in Q2 2014?
Competitors have 28nm coming in early Q4 2013.

Surprising comment coming from you. All you do is pimp out Actm. It has already been explained why they chose higher nm chips and why 28nm is both very expensive and risky. And unlike Ken the guys at Labcoin seem to have a really solid and reasonable plan backed up by facts, not just hype.

I also pimp out bAsic
K thx bye

I might hold for a while since these guys will be starting sooner than anyone else.

BTC Garden is way overvalued at .016.  I believe in active, but there more 4th Q

Here is a chance to put your money where your mouth is Cheesy

I sort of want to buy more options but not sure if their is an appetite for anyone to issue put options right now  Wink

i dont understand the options to well, can you explain the call ones?

Call is when you think the price is going to go up
Example Call at 0.75 Premium 0.125 would mean that Strike is 0.875
Price needs to be above 0.875 for it to be profitable to you
Options become worth less closer to expiration

Puts are the opposite if you think the price will collapse suddenly you buy puts then buy shares on the market at the lower price and execute the puts at the higher price

Ok so right now I see an option

Strike 0.00650000
Premium 0.00210000
Cost 0.00860000

So if tomorrow the price goes to .009 i can make up to .0004 per share that i bought @ 10k is 4 Btc correct?,  And do i exercise the option or just sell it?

3970  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: July 31, 2013, 09:18:09 PM

I apologize for the confusion around EST/EDT.  It is too late to fix/change it.  Unfortunately those of us in north america almost always refer to the zones as PST/CST/EST/etc regardless of daylight savings.  It's a name for the time in the area year round, regardless of the technicality around DST.

I don't mean to be disrespectful, and I have no stake in this, but being in the US myself, I will categorically state that you are wrong here.

It's a common problem, but anybody with any knowledge about time, ESPECIALLY people in the computer/programming field, need to know that there's a HUGE difference between EST and EDT, and the time zone (Eastern Time Zone).

Like I said, I have ZERO stake in this, and so am just a potential arbiter, and you are wrong on this point.

People in computer programming don't deal with EST/EDT at all.  I do everything in UTC intentionally to avoid DST issues, that's how I messed up here.  Most seemed to get it, as the countdown clocks and UTC conversions I saw initially were accurate.

I should have just used UTC.  Lesson learned.

Looks like with orders totaling 17,778,808 the percentage ended up being 39.3727184%.

I'm almost done massaging the orders.  Users will see their altered orders up on the books soon.

Cheers.

Thank you for your hard work.

Are we getting 55% of what we bid?

I think 30% to 35%

Well there are only 18M bids on shares over or equal to 0.001

Ok so it's 38% then

just limit every order to 5k to 10k problem solved

everyone gets a piece of the pie
3975  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: July 31, 2013, 02:12:06 PM
This is a no win situation.

I think wiping all the orders shouldn't even be an option.  There is no way the current servers can handle such a load.   Shit they barely can handle heavy trading at times
3976  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread on: July 31, 2013, 04:02:49 AM
I'd be more worried if ken was here posting shit daily vs out in the field doing meetings

Ken is doing what he is suppose to be doing.

We don't need daily or hourly updates.

Fake walls to push price down

They are gone now and people loading up on cheap shares

So when's it going down again  Roll Eyes
3980  Economy / Securities / Re: ActiveMining Overview and Speculation Thread on: July 30, 2013, 04:53:32 PM
It's going down quick!

I predict it could stableize around .006

It went up way to quickly and soon, plus i'm sure people are liquidating to purchase Labcoin and possibly BTCgarden when they go live

Considering they're unlikely to go live for a few a day or two, they're selling way too early.

I personally dont think so, the odds of the price shooting back up above .008 to sell doesnt look good atm.

I think as this day progresses we will see more and more sell walls pop up.  Once we get a big one people will start to panic

gonna revise and say .004-.005, price is falling to quick
