actually mate buying anytime you want then hold is not a good idea, ' which is you must build your own strategy first to avoid such issue,  what i mean making technical analysis first is better before jumping into it to gain some strategy such how you can earn profits and how you can prevent losing money on it 'cause market nowadays is very volatile .

i understand you mate,  'cause actually working on bounties based also on my experience most project nowadays is ponzi which is no payment after the evaluation or after the initial coin offering.  That's why I'm confused as well right now if it's still good to join even there are some fake project on that section 'cause it's a totally wasting time.  

no mate 'cause bitcoin is a decentralized currency and so volatile which is unlike fiat currency , and also the common reason why it cant replace fiat it is because bitcoin can be used to any bad manners such buying illegal stuff through internet which no one can identify the buyers and etc. That's why some of the government banned it due to that reason even bitcoin value is so high than fiat.

 Perhaps yes there's a chance that some alts can outpass bitcoin. Unless if some of big holder on bitcoin jump to another alt to collaborate the progress of the project. But on this circumstances which is as long bitcoin is still expensive i think no other alt can over take bitcoin price and it will remain on the top as long there's still a massive demand and supply in the market.

if you're planning to buy a coin for long term i suggest to make some research first on coinmarket cap. And also by doing technical analysis through the project (portfolio or sites). and read the vision, white paper and etc which is you can obtain more information about the project , to assure as well if it's good or not,  and don't rely on others thought and predictions about the coin, make your own research mate.  .

for long term mate i suggest jibrel, eos and bouts pro token  because that 3 altcoin show a good performance last month which is mid of may. And i have doubts it will recover again along with bitcoin like what other alt reaction when the price of bitcoin is increasing. So perhaps that 3 altcoin still had a chance again to increase more in long term . 

We need to wait on month of November if it has a possibility 'cause that's the month where more investors put their money on crypto for Christmas celebration, like what happened before which is 2017 , so as of now on this mid of year 2018 let's wait for more results,  if it has a potential to increase more on this circumstances 'cause it's a big sign as well ,

It's just a ads bro which is always pop up on me as well  when I'm surfing internet making research especially about crypto. Which is a positive prediction to convince more people to keep riding  the volatility of the market even it's so risky.  But i also believe that trading big can gain quick huge profits. 'cause that's how the whales play in the market and the common reason as well why there's a huge dip after they dump.  Which is because of huge contribution on the growth rate there's always a tends of price to collapse. So IMO riding also with huge capital is better to obtain quick profits .but always exit after you gained enough and don't ever wait for the sign  'cause market volatility is very unpredictable nowadays. actually mate the reason behind why more people nowadays don't believe on crypto currency, it is because of some causes that always happen in the social media, such scamming people through bitcoin or other crypto , which is the common reason as well why more people nowadays afraid to enter on bitcoin again .  without knowing the fact about the potential of crypto currency and how to earn in a specific ways.

Base on your question mate it depends IMO.which is the circumstances if it's good to sell or continue to hold 'cause nowadays the market is very unpredictable which is sometimes suddenly plunges without sign and move opposite as well after the scenario.  So it depends and for me the good idea during the red is to make some research first to assure if it's good idea to hold or sell .such doing technical analysis to prevent such issue. It depends on your situation mate..  Which is if you gained enough profits then you should sell immediately then buy back again to obtain more profits when the price soar again, instead of still holding 'cause you will end up to losing money so much better to sell off rather than holding. Then if you have loses on it you must hold to regain your lost . 'cause selling while you have lose isn't good idea and surely you will repent after. So always make make some research first before doing anything to assure if it's good to dump or to keep holding.

 After or during the red is good to buy altcoin but when it comes after the red market i think the best one to buy is a coin that has a  potential such coin that has a green tagged percent not a coin that still suffering after the red market 'cause even it's very cheap there's a tend of that coin to turn into shitcoin.  So must buy coins that playing also like bitcoin does to gain profits.   And the best to buy for me such EOS,JIBREL, BOUTS. PRO. because of its performance before the market turn ro red. which is I'm sure also that the price will bounce back again

actually mate that's the common reason why the growth rate of bitcoin is constantly decreasing nowadays which is because of being lack of knowledge how the market play they're panicking and always regrets after, which is instead of buying more in the dip they are always sell off without knowing the specific movement of the growth rate after the dip.

yes of course which is sometimes it really affects especially negative speculation that can cause people to panic sell which is from people who always claiming their selves as a expert by doing technical analysis in the market.
