Guess you finally stumbled upon provably fair and what it means. I learnt also that PF is not provably random, but at least if you can prove that the house and the gambler both cannot control the outcome,,, then it is fair for both (in some cases like if you RNG on blocks found on Bitcoin).
3962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Upcoming Defi projects on: October 09, 2020, 05:58:48 AM
I think IDEX should be better and even though this token is still not very strong or lacking in market interest, I think IDEX will last for a long time so investing there is still in the safe category, I guess. But all options depend on each individual, because I think there will definitely be different views about IDEX but I believe they can compete in the market time to time.

You really think so about IDEX? I have to be honest and a lot of projects look like exact copies of each other at the moment, with very very slight adjustments to the monetary/supply model.

The problem for me is none of them seem to last more than a few months though right? If they could fix sustainability,,,
3963  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 08, 2020, 01:58:30 PM
I agree with you.
It’s really amazing how much money Manchester United has spent on a lot of players in recent years and how small their results have been in recent years.
It seems that after Ferguson left, they lost their vision and want to achieve everything quickly, buying players instead of creating them through work and training.

Exactly! It seemed like you just borrowed the idea from my mind. For some very good reasons, it seems that Alex Ferguson was Man United and there is no Man United without him. This is the case as, Man United now don't seem to have a vision. They are just playing with a mind set of qualifying and compit in the Europa which shouldn't be, they've had pretty much a lot of bad games from the previous season and has carried it into the new season despite the money spent on players.
Hopefully, the arrival of Edenson Cavani from PSG to join the team on Monday would up the game for them but still, I still don't see their vision changing and focusing on being a better title contenders against Liverpool and Manchester City.
Sadly his to isolate for 14 days and won't be training with his new team mates hence, his bound to miss at least 3-4 games or more at the moment.

To be fair to the successor of Ferguson, he also at least in his last season bought success. The team he handed over was old and breaking, while competing teams were not yet set up in a way to challenge and had very bad luck too. Remember he splashed out money to buy that Dutch guy van Persie from Arsenal, so in one move killed Arsenal AND won the title with one man.
3964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinmarketcap or Coingecko? on: October 08, 2020, 01:07:43 PM
CoinGecko very comfortable for me when i check exchange volume and rank because i use long time in phone so it's like very fast. However I don't believe every volume in every project because there are more fake volume project and exchange. Let's go and make a own research from your mind then it can clear through.

I never believe anything I see. Now even CMC I believe in less,,, even though it has changed to become more transparent since Binance took over them. Coingecko I believe are doing a good job but as long as we have to trust people,,, I have to believe that they are not perfect and will be prone to cheating.
3965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: October 08, 2020, 11:55:12 AM
I think Klopp probably banged some heads together in that dressing room after the game. They don’t lose very often so I suppose there will be a reaction from the players.

Liverpool under Klopp has always shown an impressive reaction after such a devastating defeat. Even though the last one was special and historic as Klopp jokingly stated himself Cheesy I hope they are going to end the winning streak of Everton next week.

He mentioned in press conference that it was a shame that they could not get back right into training because most of the players had to fly out immediately for friendly games. So we will not see if they bounce back immediately now they come back from international duties and play Everton next who will mostly be together in training!

If they beat Everton only Villa are perfect!
3966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH still going higher as our anticipatiion on: October 08, 2020, 11:02:44 AM
Take a look back on what happened into those ICO days where Eth were commonly used since most projects do make use of this platform and in result it did really greatly affect its price

but we know that price cant really just shoot up like forever because there would really always be a correction.ETH wont really able to reach out the 2nd top rank if it isn't really being recognized

by the community. Some said this is shit but this one is really one of the best altcoin that you can really accumulate and of course you can really expect something on it when it comes on long term.

A better choice than to choose some shitcoins in the market.

Especially when people start losing money,,, which is what happened in ICO and what is now happening in Defi. Investors lose money so stop buying ETH. Then all the projects who got all the ETH start dumping making the price push down even more!

But yes,,, still better than most shitcoins.
3967  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A case of the pandemic changing the score and affecting sports betting on: October 08, 2020, 09:46:12 AM
Definitely. I think also in Champions League or Europa League cannot remember which one but odds did not change for one team that had to fight against a team from Estonia IIRC,,, they sent a team of youth players and reserves, and odds did not change. They lost big or something and still everyone was paid out. Wish I knew about it but only read in the news:) Good for those who can keep up.
3968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: TAKE A TEST — Which cryptocurrency are you? ₿ on: October 08, 2020, 07:45:52 AM
I got same as the guy right above me. But in real life I am so totally against Ripple haha,,, so I wonder what exactly made the quiz think I was a Ripple guy. Not really an entrepreneur myself I believe in the old Bitcoin and Monero,,, very little else:)

Netflix was in there which I cannot even afford!
3969  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: October 08, 2020, 07:15:42 AM
You dont need to win 15 of those, if you could get the highest winning selection then you would get 300mbtc from that. Everyone that join the multimaster dont really hope that they score 15/15 selection but rather to get the higher number of winning selection. So far there wasnt anyone that has gotten 15/15 yet (?) cmiiw

I think there was even one round where the winners only got 9 picks. Is that the record for the lowest number of picks? I only started this recently this new season and not doing so well, a few points (2 or 3 or 4) from the winning total so I know I am getting close:) Should have played it earlier but I never really thought I would do well.
3970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Everything you need to know about NFTs tokens on: October 08, 2020, 05:57:10 AM
I do get the idea and attraction of some NFTs but for me, these digital NFTs seem so terribly easy to make that I would think they should not be worth as much as they are now. I mean,,, make anything and some people paint and design to make NFTs pretty but if you think about it, anything is rare, but if you can make 1 million rare NFTs, what is the point? Can someone make me understand?
3971  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: October 07, 2020, 01:46:16 PM
I think it is too early to judge any team in the Premier League now.The competition has just began and a simple lost game with a big goals difference doesn’t show the true form of a team.I think that Manchester United should not wait from a single player to do miracles but they should try and get the most out of the team by playing well together.

Agree. I remember reading after first three games how they were saying Liverpool are just too good for any team and then boom they lose to Aston Villa by their biggest lose record in entire Premier League history.

STILL it says nothing about how the table will look like and the end of 38 games so nobody should panic or gush after 10% of the campaign is over. Football is round!
3972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The digital Yuan is almost a fact on: October 07, 2020, 11:55:39 AM
It may sound harsh but I agree with it.  Wink
There is the truth behind it and still, we look at it like its nothing.
I got friends working in China and I know the difficulty of not reaching their families in their designated area of work.
She needs to ride a train to another city just to make a social media video call. That can only be done on a day off. Saturdays or just Sundays.
Restrictions. I asked myself, why. Security or secrets?  Grin

Digital Yuan is just to speed up tracing citizens with their transaction and private stash.  Grin

Many of us who live in Asia deal with the problems most people outside do not realize. I totally get it too as it is the same for me,,, I live hours away from my home so I "live" near my office and in fact live in the office mainly. Near good internet otherwise we are disconnected. Even if we have data plans we save money and just use it for important stuff.

Unfortunately this means all my internet is tracked and I even have to login with usernames that show me and my phone but since I do not do anything fishy,,, it is fine for me. But can understand the dangers of loss of privacy.
3973  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: October 07, 2020, 11:22:17 AM
Not the big problem but somehow it cause a trouble regarding on the IP so I really don't like to play by using it that's why its recommendable to all gamblers to used it to avoid such issues. I really wonder why there are still people risk to use that and cry later when error came.

Although we want to play with anonymity but funds security is much important rather than that.

Like I said many times before,,, better to just play on sites you know do not make it an issue, or be prepared to face the issue if it comes. People need to stop complaining and blaming sites who are enforcing their terms (however problematic or unfair it seems) and just not expose themselves to that risk if they are not prepared for it.
3974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Downfall of dia data (DeFi) on: October 07, 2020, 09:37:13 AM
Almost all the defi projects are suddenly on the rise and after a while the value of those tokens is dropping a lot. But the DIA project was different and I can say it was the best defi project this year from which investors ensured huge profits. The price of DIA are now much cheaper but the dev team is still trying to increase the value of their tokens. But we need support and patience because their development activities are clear.

Actually they are on the down now after months of rising, even the growth is slowing down according to statistics. From the ETH gas fees alone I can see that the transactions are not as popular as even last month. Some say defi bubble bursting but I think this is just a temporary pause. Greed is too strong to kill off so quickly:)
3975  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: October 07, 2020, 09:06:54 AM
I totally agree with you, in the end it is not necessary to go to the stadium in this situation
it would be worse if the championship or the cup were suspended

I think if we don't act now to give ourselves a limit, there will be another lockdown

I think governments have to unite and do 1 of either. Everyone take serious action now to limit and kill it off,,, or everyone takes the same actions to say, okay let us just let Covid run the course.

Because the problem now is mixed actions then means nothing is resolved or everything is postponed. The way it looks now. Another lockdown for sure.
3976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yield farming Unicats allegedly stole $200k thru backdoor code on: October 07, 2020, 07:47:20 AM
I still do not get why after all these rugpulls and backdoor code steals,,, people still attracted to all these new projects with basically untested smart contract codes. Do people just have a desire to lose money or what? Because it seems obvious to me the risk is way too high to even try.
3977  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a high roller? on: October 07, 2020, 07:08:58 AM
Seems like most of us are penny rollers here:) I do not really play at big casino games a lot though, I stick to dice,,, and my biggest bets are just on small games for Tottenham Hotspurs or random football/basketball games depending on my mood. I like making just one bet and then watching the game.

The only time I bet big on dice is when I am being stupid chasing a loss. I try not to think about the big losses too much and just want to avoid them. Very tricky to do!
3978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Earning $78 A DAY?! Staking Cryptocurrency | Passive Income W/ NRG, Earn, Mining on: October 07, 2020, 05:57:55 AM
But you are not exactly earning in dollars are you but in the price of the crypto. And while it looks impressive let me guess that you need a lot more money than that to make that amount while hoping the prices stay afloat.

Done staking before,,, never worth it in the end:)
3979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DAMMIT, I missed another profit opportunity!!! on: October 06, 2020, 12:08:45 PM
Yes in case of holding for a long time the value of the currency often decreases a lot in that case even if you make a long-term investment it is better to invest for a short period of time without keeping it for too long. But there is nothing to be sad about even if you miss the profit wait patiently the currencies will rise higher in the future crypto market means rise and fall.

For altcoins,,, always for altcoins. For Bitcoin it is always long term and sure you can make some money trading it for profit but in the end everything about Bitcoin points to long term value for holders and users. Altcoins prove there is nothing in their markets except for speculators who of course only think in the short term.

Do not see them as missed opportunities. Bitcoin opportunity is alive and well.
3980  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 06, 2020, 10:44:46 AM
News coming so fast it's impossible to track anymore.

Dembele to United seemed almost done, now Barcelona wants him to sign a 1-year extension before allowing him to leave on loan which he does not want to do.
Tottenham trying really hard to get a centre-back, Skriniar deal seems off but now they want Rudiger. Chelsea would like to sell but not to Spurs.

Really a crazy day, I hate transfer windows during the season. I hope it returns to how it was last season, this looks like a bunch of kids playing Fifa. Give me anything that's available.

Yes,,, me I just wait for everything to be proper and announced. Many disappointments in the past and for me the speculation sometimes is not even there, until created randomly by so many people. Like the way United's transfers are done it seems it is less to fit the manager's demands and more to appease the fans own demands!
