3961  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Deep before the Raise on: January 19, 2022, 03:32:25 PM

After the first quarter runs out, according to my data, there will be an upward price movement until it reaches a new ATH like the year's chart has passed, I hope so, and I hope Bitcoin is good to us. Bravo!

The possibilities are there that bitcoin will attain another ATH this year but I don't think that the scene of 2018 and the past are not same for the present. The institution's hodling are making price not to drop with heavy losses in a day. For now talking about the present, bitcoin has not dropped $10000 below daily opening price but that happened in 2018 so they are not the same in comparison of time and the past.
3962  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Based Betting community on: January 19, 2022, 02:16:45 PM
I got same report like @uneng did. The account doesn't exist and yet OP wants to make money off people. The point is newbies want to sell one thing or another whenever they open an account. They always have in mind the get rich quick syndrome and that is making them get involved in scamming others or themselves being scammed.
3963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think that 2022 will look like? on: January 18, 2022, 04:13:31 PM
if we are in 2019 now we would have been in a heavy bear market already, as time goes on there will also be more sell than buying and bears will get their powers back

What would have happened if it was 2019 at the moment. How are you sure of the heavy bear if the two different times are not comparable. The both years are different and having different effects on the market. The bear in 2019 didn't just start in 2019 but early 2018 but now we are just beginning this struggling time with the market and it may all change just as soon we are thinking the bear has set in. I'm however having the feeling the bear may not stay longer as it were in 2018 / 2019.
3964  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Deep before the Raise on: January 18, 2022, 02:51:01 PM

Apparently, we are turning back down again and it might possible to go down deeper below $40k. But I don't think we need to worry but instead, we take this opportunity to buy more. Might be right the huge deep come first before the bullish come again.

Nothing is permanent with bitcoin yes as we were in bull lately, the bear took over few days back and now but that doesn't mean reversal is not possible. If you consider the number of institutions using bitcoin now and in 2017 when we only relied on halving effect then we can understand better that the price may change anytime. We need to be pragmatic, however it is still a good chance to buy more.
3965  Economy / Economics / Re: PEOPLE DURING THE PANDEMIC. on: January 18, 2022, 12:49:53 PM

You are saying that many people had lost their jobs, but the unemployment rates had actually normalized since the 2020 levels of unemployment.
You say that many businesses went bankrupt, but I don't have actual data about businesses going bankrupt.
The vast majority of the "brick and mortar" businesses survived the pandemic, some of them are thriving.

But that depends on the region or country that you are because the world economy is yet to recover from the effect of covid-19 pandemic. Covid-19 is still disturbing proper economic plan and budgets of the year and whatever distortion the yearly budget has is going to affect the outcome. So some countries are yet to recover from covid-19 till this moment.

3967  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Don't panicked if bitcoin illegal in your country. on: January 17, 2022, 06:36:51 PM
Violating the law is a crime, regardless of your position of that law, and therefore if the government bans Bitcoin in your country, you are legally prohibited from using those currencies.

Violation of law of the land is crime true but what happens when a government official or an influential and rich person/family also violents such law to the extent that a poor person has done? You see in such cases the law is perverted.

What Op is saying regarding bitcoin is that it is decentralised and affords other means to have hold on it just like the government officials can also do. It is certain that when the ban is on, the government officials don't keep to it and

Sometimes the government does not have a comprehensive control of cryptocurrencies, but this does not mean that it is a permission to use them, especially if a problem occurs and it is discovered that you have Bitcoins.

It is about kettle calling pot black. In Nigeria for example, the ban of bitcoin accounts with the banks does not mean there are no bitcoin trading and investment going on with the low and mighty in the country but you have to keep a careful eyes .
3968  Economy / Economics / Re: PEOPLE DURING THE PANDEMIC. on: January 17, 2022, 05:14:22 PM
Yes the restrictions from covid-19 pandemic has opened up more space for online investment and not just cryptocurrency. During the heat of covid-19, remember some companies went online and allowed workers to work from home and transmit reports through online and this gave the people the space from work and they explored the internet opportunity. It gave rise to different online advertisement, freelancing and also trading of all kinds of products and currency too.

There are as many ways to earn here and most of it is by playing various NFT GAMES.

This forum is not the only avenue for earning in cryptocurrency, it exposes investors though but not just the only means to earn so that beginners don't build a wrong idea.
3969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: There are short-term and long-term of investing in cryptocurrency in the future. on: January 17, 2022, 04:10:11 PM

Investing in new coins is not advisable as there is no guarantee that the coins can survive like the other existing coins.

Usually it is not advisable to buy coins that are not listed already and based on certain exchange. I have invested in initial offers back  in the past and it was a lose giving me an experience afterwards. It is safer with bitcoin and few other coins established already and popular in the market.
3970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any Social Betting Platform that allow to copy a bet? on: January 17, 2022, 01:16:58 PM
I think the reason it is difficult to see such is that predicting sites on soccer especially are already playing that part. The prediction sites provides guide for every tipster to follow but I don't know if the copy bet do exist for now. Except it can be done in telegram group and I think that is what happens when the admin or owner of the group share to follower.
3971  Economy / Economics / Re: Doctors fear health care collapse amid omicron surge on: January 17, 2022, 11:44:17 AM
People taking steps to exercise more and be healthier would go a long way towards making healthcare more affordable for all. As would people refraining from drug and substance abuse. These are not necessarily issues for government to solve. But has more to do with choices made on an individual level.
I certainly agree, in a period like this where the strength of your immune system matters alot, it would be wise for one to strive towards achieving better health. As a booster to your immune system, you should try to exercise more, eat more vegetables, drink more water, enjoy the fresh air, get some sunlight, eat fruits, reduce on the junk, take more vitamins, and have more rest.

These factors don't have anything to do with covid-19 or omicron variant of it if you expose yourself to it. Immune system is not just what it takes not to be affected, even with immune system some people are not strong enough to with stand certain challenges from birth. It is better to abstain from making contacts when not necessary or with an effected person or partner. The reason that immune system is not a strong point for me than abstaining is that even health workers despite their immune system and vaccination still wearing all the protective equipment to keep themselves safe.

3974  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do hide satoshi Nakamoto himself? on: January 14, 2022, 08:25:31 PM
Satoshi making himself anonymous was one of the best moves he made.  Satoshi was clearly very smart and calculated when it came to how he set everything up.  By making himself anonymous and made sure that there was no "central figure" behind bitcoin.  This was it didn't look like bitcoin had a CEO , so to speak.  This kept bitcoin a coin truly of the people.  This is kinda like why Charlie Lee sold most of his litecoin, so that there was a central figure over the coin holding large bags.  I think this was a very smart move by satoshi personally.

This is a good way to reason on the disappearance of Satoshi. Perhaps he wanted real freedom which bitcoin gives and that is why no government has been able to stop bitcoin.

Or have we also thought that if Satoshi was made public or presented himself to the world as the founder of this financial revolution breezing everywhere, he might have been arrested by these security agencies all over the place, the likes of FBI, CIA etc and perhaps taken to ICC for an allegation of conscripting his own currency and maybe ending up in jail and the noble dream dies off. This is my loud thinking and most reasonable to be thought for whatever reason Satoshi went under is for the revolution to be achieved.
3975  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Fear Index at 10 on: January 14, 2022, 03:53:26 PM
Fear is low, will take another 20-30% correction to get the panic selling started. Lots of people got in on the bull run and really think the total crypto market cap can double or even triple in the coming months.

You mean price is going to keep falling with the percentage you reference. This may not be that way, 20% to 30% fall in price won't be good for bitcoin and I don't expect that incident of 2018 to repeat this time. Meanwhile bitcoin continue to recover after a fall and that gives hope for hodlers to hang on for the next bull.
3976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you know any meme coin that could be shiba or doge? on: January 14, 2022, 01:56:44 PM
I don't think meme coin is a good investment for long term, because its growth is only due to hype, for example like doge and shiba inu, which once increased rapidly and surprised all crypto users, but after that memecoin started to sink, but if you have free time to analyze and pay attention to the movement, most likely the profit will be in your favor.

For now I think shiba is preferred because of its price and growth within short time. If you are an investor looking for purely profit then you will like a coin that can be hyped if you will identify the hype time on the real spot. Shiba inu is waiting to explode more, it is moving with speed whenever it has the hype. Maybe we see many more hodlers in shiba soon.
3977  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🌍⚽Sportsbet AFCON prediction pool discussion thread on: January 13, 2022, 07:11:19 PM
Cameroon vs Ethiopia is just about 8 minutes away and I've just changed my pick from 2-0 to 2-1 (ignoring the single trend happening so far), I'm convinced that Cameroon might win this but I felt they offered an easy route with those two penalties in the opening fixture, I'm expecting a few slip ups today which likely might cost them to concede a goal.
Holly shit, I did not count, but I am almost sure that Cameroon games had more goals in them than all the other games at AFCON. Now I am firmly in Cameroon supporter clan since they seem the only team willing to take some risks. I guess home turf and all that means something in the end.

The match ended 4 - 1 in favour of Cameroon. This is some of the highlights of the match

Cameroon is now topping the group A table that comprise Cape Verde and Burkina Faso. Cameroon has 6 points, Cape Verde 4 points, Burkina Faso 1 point and Ethiopia 0

4-1
3978  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto betting vs Fiat betting on: January 13, 2022, 05:34:56 PM
What is the best method to bet most especially if one is betting on football matches what is the best currency to bet with, using cryptocurrency to bet of using traditional paper money. Which one is more secured and fast for inline usage.

Looking at your question, have you encountered any problem with betting with either cryptocurrency or paper money because except you have any problem you can raise the question then. Outside that it depends on the betting site condition for betting if they make provision for any of them and it depends on you also regarding the one you want to use.
3979  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is for everyone but not everyone will be for Bitcoin on: January 13, 2022, 02:30:09 PM
We live in an unfair world! That is a given.

And, no, Bitcoin is not for everyone. Bitcoin is not for those who don't even have the money to buy food. Bitcoin is not for those who don't even know what a smart phone is. Bitcoin is not for those people living off the grid. Bitcoin is not for those whose hands of education haven't reached and who remain illiterate. Generally, Bitcoin is not for a significant portion of the world's population.

This has been like this. This has been humanity ever since.

Haha but all that you said those not mean that users here all had all those qualities before they joined here or knew and have the knowledge they currently have. There I think bitcoin is for those who allow themselves to be convinced either explicitly by what they have seen or that they are just in the trier mode  Grin I think everyone has a chance to understand bitcoin and those who are already internet freak have a larger chance.
3980  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling for the rich who can afford to lose ? on: January 12, 2022, 06:31:50 PM

On the other hand, there are people who have a lot of money in hand and losing is not a big deal for them. If they win in gambling, they enjoy and if they lose, nothing is lost for them as they have a lot of money in bank balance.

Gambling is not only for the rich. In fact the people who don't give any concern on their gambling profit are not real gamblers because the purpose of gambling is to increase what you have.

I am far from being rich.

You do not wish negative to yourself my friend. You are feeding and having shelter over yourself and with good health so you are rich already if you keep working hard and reinvesting your money and you will get to the financial level that you want. Don't lose hope of being rich, where you have life then there is hope. Is only a dead person that has no hope.
