I'm amazed that anybody would think that Russian strength is so weak. If NATO is so strong, why don't they just invade Russia and put an end to all the fighting? They can't. Russia is too strong.

Russia just might become the future for all of us.

Cool
We have all the forums - discussing about Ukraine and Russia war.
There are so many other countries - where the atrocities are going on and no one is discussed it - because they believed that they deserve it - but I am glad at least EU stood up for Ukraine - although they all are in trouble too - due to lack of oil and gas.

The thing that most people don't understand is what this Ukraine war is all about. Under the whole thing, this war is a fight to the death between two money systems... the debt backed money system of the US and Europe, and the value backed money system of Russia and much of the rest of the world.

The government and banks of the US tricked the people of the US into financing the banks, without even realizing what they (the people) were doing. Most elected US government people don't even recognize it. Even Ron Paul, who for years was on some money committee in the US Federal government, and who speaks out against the Federal Reserve Bank in books that he has written, never speaks out about the real way the US people have financed the banks.

I don't really know if he understands or not, or if he realizes that if people understood how the banks have screwed them over royally, there would be such a big revolt among the people, that it might destroy the US.

Anybody who supports the US, Nato, and the Ukraine, is really supporting a financial system that is screwing the world. The whole US banking system is like a big fat Ponzi scheme.

You ignore the real reason why nations win and nations lose. God acts in the most wonderful ways to save people.

You and I aren't dead, yet. But will we arise after death, being saved by God Himself? Only if we don't keep on rejecting Him.

Cool

Sure. "Gott mit uns" did not work too well for the Germans.

Did 'God' help the atheist Soviet Union to win WWII?

Both Ukrainian and Russian soldiers believe in God. Which side will God help this time?
(Hint: the one with better military training and more modern weapons)

In fact, it was mostly the Soviet Union that did the winning over Germany in WW2.

WW2 happened something like less than 25 years after the Bolsheviks took over in Russia. There were loads of Christians and Jews in Russia at the time of the Czars. It was crooked US politicians, and banking, that financed the Bolsheviks so that they had the power to revolt successfully.

All of a sudden, you seem to think you know all about the why's and how's of who God might help. Everything that God does among people, he has revealed to his servants, the prophets of the Bible. Most of us don't have a big enough picture of the things that God says in the Bible, and a big enough picture of what is really going on in the world, to knowingly make accurate predictions.

Ucy, a fellow forum member, has some good ideas about how God is working and why... in the world today. Try asking him for help.

I dont know which culture and society supports prostitution
There are more disadvantages than advantages of this profession - and at the end these women has so much psychological and physical problems that they have to leave all this to go to an isolated life.
If money/capitalism didn't exist, would they do it?

Would they have sex with tons of strangers just for fun?

Nobody has answered this...

My answer:

Money enables prostitution to exist. Women would NOT do it for free. They have no benefit to do so.

Money enables, yes. However, in the US and lots of places in Europe, there are women we would call 'sluts'. Most of them are young... late teens and early twenties. But some are quite young... barely into their teens... who do it for the experience. Many of them are hoping for a family later on, and have never been taught about honor, and the honorable way of doing things. Many others are doing it for the self-gratification a young person gets from having a youthful, healthy body, and feeling soooo good with the experience.

It isn't really prostitution. But it might be way worse. If a good and honorable guy or gal wants to find someone who is virgin, how in the world can he figure out if he has one or not? Go with a person for a year without sex. If they are willing to "last" that long, maybe they are for real.

Russia lost all the battles with Napoleon. Russia lost to Japan in 1905. Russia lost the First World War, Russia lost the war in Afghanistan. Russia will also lose the war in Ukraine.

+1

People need to imagine what would happen if the West (UK/USA) would support Germany and provide it with a lend-lease during WWII,
provide military intelligence and organize international legions to fight on the side of Germany to defeat the Soviet Union.

The only reason Germans lost was that the whole world was against them.

I think Russia will be completely demilitarized this time around.

You ignore the real reason why nations win and nations lose. God acts in the most wonderful ways to save people.

Cool

In this case, the power of Genghis Khan or the Great Turan will return.

It absolutely might be that a conqueror will arise who takes it all over.

For the moment, that conqueror seems to be the leaders of the US banking system, who are using the US as a springboard to push their way into the affairs of other nations around the world... including using the Ukraine to provoke Russia.

Putin isn't alone. He has loads of counselors who bring up ideas and who work to combine these ideas into different scenarios. The west is similar with their leaders.

Much of what is discussed has to do with what it might take to get somebody to use nukes, and how far they can be pushed before they DO use nukes.

We don't know the discussions going on about this whole thing. But the US and its allies seem to think that Russia won't use nukes. Why? Nobody knows, but there must be a reason why the US thinks it can continue to provoke Russia without getting nuked.

Or is that what the US wants... the Nukes to fly?

Cannabis is a plant that, when used properly, can heal people of loads of diseases and maladies. But we can't have that kind of healing. No money for Big Pharma if people aren't stopped from their own simple cannabis cures.

So, advertise big time a bunch of lies about how bad cannabis is. And get into government to take the freedom of the people away so that they aren't even allowed to grow and use cannabis. And make the simple court processes so convoluted that a person doesn't even know how to pick his freedom up any longer.

Anybody who wants freedom from the court system should listen to the things here

I dont know which culture and society supports prostitution
There are more disadvantages than advantages of this profession - and at the end these women has so much psychological and physical problems that they have to leave all this to go to an isolated life.

If somebody wants to be a prostitute and is allowed, that's called freedom. It's the results that make that person a slave.

So, how do we make a society that allows freedom. and doesn't allow slavery at the same time? There are three steps to this:
1. Figure out what society has to be like to do this;
2. Advertise it with good explanations;
3. Punish those who disobey, and reward those who obey.

Number 1, above, has already been done for us. It's in the 2nd thru the 5th books of the beginning of the Bible... Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. God gave the info to Moses to give to the people, the main stuff on Mount Sinai, and the rest of it during the 40 years that Israel wandered in the desert.

Because the ceremonial laws that Moses gave the people were fulfilled in Jesus, we don't need those laws any longer... except if we are Jews trying to obey what God made for the Jews. But the civil laws are just about the best that there are. And ancient Israel at the time of Joshua shows how these laws are to be obeyed. These laws include the Ten Commandments ahead of all the rest.

Back at the time that the US was set up, the theme of the Constitution was built on the skimpiest basics of the civil laws of Moses. Why the basics? Because at that time most of the people in America worshiped God, and understood the laws of Moses. However...

We of the US aren't any different than the people of Israel after Moses and Joshua died. Israel turned away from the laws, but came back to God when they were punished enough. And it is the same way with the people of the US.

This time in the US, many people don't understand the laws of God any longer. They have listened to the advertising of a bunch of jokers who don't even want to listen to the idea that God exists. God will save His people, but it might take the destruction of the US to clean out the unbelievers.

Thanks to the war started by Russia with Ukraine, the last empire will finally disappear. Dozens of new states will appear

According to Wikipedia - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_wars_involving_Ukraine - the last war with Ukraine that Russia was involved in started in 2014. Even Wikipedia understands that there is a lot of difficulty in determining who was the perpetrator of the war, when it started, and why.

I have one of those big, fat Webster college dictionaries from 1966. One day I looked up "International Monetary Fund" (IMF) in the dictionary. It listed about 150 countries around the world that were members of the IMF. It also listed about 20 countries that turned down IMF membership.

What is interesting is, that the 20 countries that had not become members, were also the countries of the world that had the most trouble... wars, famines, internal disputes, diseases, etc.

It makes one wonder. Did the peace come because the IMF made things work out for a country that joined? Or was it the IMF that made trouble for the countries that wouldn't join?

3996  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Putin grants citizenship on Edward Snowden on: October 01, 2022, 04:40:54 PM
^^^ Edward Snowden's first contract was his Oath of Office, to uphold the Constitution of the USA. When he realized, through his position in national security, that many other people who had take the same Oath of Office as he did, were breaking their Oath, and causing destruction of America through that breaking, all he did was to tell us all about what they were doing. So, essentially Edward Snowden is near the top as far as being patriotic to the USA.

If you read the Constitution, you will find that the US doesn't have any business running around the world and interfering in other countries. And if it is unclear in the Constitution, then the writings of both the Federalists and the Anti-federalists will clarify it. (These were the two main groups of people who set up the Constitution in the first place.) Both groups wanted to keep America out of foreign affairs.

All that Snowden did was to do his duty and show us all how there were many people in Government breaking their Oath to uphold the Constitution, at least in the spirit of the Constitution. Regarding this, Russia was changed by US government people and US banking people who supplied the Bolshevik revolutionaries with what they needed to overthrow the Russian government of 1916. Putin knows this, or at least now that Snowden prompted him to look at Russian history.

The US is against Russia for one major reason. The Bolshevik overthrow was intended to make a socialist one-world government way back then. But, along the way, Russia revolted against the criminals in the US government and banking system. That's the basic reason why the US is pushing Ukraine into a fight against Russia. Not because Russia is trying to forcefully take over the world. In fact, just the opposite.

Yep just because you claim that all blackmail potential has been exhausted (during the third lowest demand month) we don't have any critical thinking and just totally believe you!
(26 September 2022) Germans call for Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline opening now that there's nothing to open tell me again how that's a benefit to Russia? I'm not even talking about hundreds of millions of m^2 of gas Russia lost there

NS2 was dead already. "Germans call for [...] opening" is bullshit, a few people protesting won't make that happen.

Let's say Putin decided to shut NS1 off in January. Would that change Germany's policies towards Ukraine or Russia? There is no indication that it would. That's what I mean by exhausted blackmail potential.

As for lost gas and whatnot... you're assuming that Putin is a rational actor, which he clearly is not. If he cared about Russia's economy he wouldn't have invaded Ukraine, or would have retreated when the crushing sanctions became evident. He will happily run the country into the ground to feed his imperial ego. Blowing up a pipeline, or like Russian propagandists now propose - blowing up gas tankers, underwater fiber cables, etc - to harm the "enemy" is small potatoes compared to the overall destructiveness of the regime, so your feigned outrage as to why we would even think that Russia could do this makes no sense.

So far Putin doesn't have to be much of a rational actor. Everything that has happened since the US/Ukraine puppet takeover has only made it easier for Russia to advance and become richer... starting with the sanctions, of course. And it all is pushing towards a Russia-China alliance, by accident(?), of course.

Just think what a Russia-China alliance would do... the country with the largest landmass getting together with the country with the biggest population... and all of them in the same basic neighborhood of the world, already.

We can't save the planet. Why not? Because we can't even save ourselves.

The planet has millions of cubic miles. But we are so tiny that you could easily fit all the volume of all people into 2 cubic miles. We are nothing.

However, we exist. That means that the One Who made the planet, also made us. We need to look to Him to find salvation for ourselves. He will take care of the planet.

Cool
The only good thing about making the planet green is that we are saving the world and saving our health too
I am very impressed from the people were making small gardening groups and making small investment

Outside of a few people here and there, most of us live only 100 years, if that. Since the saving of our health doesn't seem to increase the saving of our life very much, maybe we are totally going about it in the wrong way.

I want someone to answer this question honestly:

Would there be porn and prostitution WITHOUT money/capitalism?

Would women do it for free?

And no, I don't mean having sex just for fun with men of their preference.

You should first know that prostitution solely involves the solicitation of sexual services for money.
There are male prostitutes as well.
If women or men do it for free, money doesn’t change hands and therefore can’t be regarded as such.
Do you ask questions like this for the fun of it?

I am not in favor of prostitution; I am against it. However...

We could all avoid a lot of interference by government in money affairs if we simply did this. Set up a trust or corporation or LLC to own our money. We ourselves would be the controller or trustee or president. We would have wording in the 'entity' which gave us the ability to transfer the control to someone else. Simply transfer the control to somebody else when we want to buy something.

The artificial entity still has the money; there was no exchange of money for anything. Since the 'entity' is considered to be a person by government, there isn't any personal tax to it for exchanging money. And, there isn't any regulation for doing nothing.

Many rich people use this method all the time to avoid taxation legally. This shows that power is greater than money.
