Leicester had to face two serious teams back to back- one being Wolves and other being Man City in next round. City have a good chance to increase the lead but they will only now be competing for the 2nd place at best. Think about Leicester, I think they will be proud with what they have achieved so far- I mean maintaining at UCL spot. Unfortunately they are not performing as they did in the starting but still they are pretty much ahead of teams after them. |

Dortmund seems to be getting to that second spot soon, if Bayern beats Liepzig and Dortmund wins, they will be at the second spot, it is then just Bayerns league to lose after that. I really hope Dortmund gets a big championship out of this and Haaland manages to score a ton of goals so we can see him on even a bigger team with much better players to see his max capacity.
Don't forget Borussia Monchengladbach who is just behind Dortmund just on goal difference. They are also having a good season. Maybe because of all teams being not at it's best just like you said. Dortmund faces 5th placed Leverkusen while Monchengladbach faces 14th placed FC Koln next. Should be easy for both (maybe a little bit harder for gladbach). |

Chelsea are definitely capable of getting past Bayern over 2 legs. Bayern are not the team of 4-5 years ago. If Chelsea get a good result at home in the 1st leg then they definitely have a good chance of reaching the 1/4 final.
Well yeah defensively not maybe but they are attacking quite well to be honest and with Chelsea loopholes in defense it becomes quite hard to say. Bayern have good attacking like with Lewandoski leading it and they have Gnabry who is a dangerous man also. It's evenly matched as I see. |

Bayern vs Leipzig will be a mouth watering clash, as both the teams know that a victory in this match shall get them one step closer to the Bundesliga title. Also I vividly remember how we all were happy to see that Bayern was struggling to win their games and we thought they wouldn’t win the league again this year, but sadly they have managed to turn their season around and now we can only hope that Leipzig can beat them and stop them from winning the title.
There are still 16 matches to play and currently looking at the table I don't see much difference in the teams placed in table. There is still lot of time just like tokeweed said and not only Leipzig but also Dortmund and Monchengladbach have fair chance as well to turn the tables. I also think Bayern made a mess at start but they are slowly starting to build up now. -snip-
But first let is discuss how Leverkusen vs Dortmund and I think this is an important match for Dortmund. If Dortmund is able to win at Leverkusen head quarters then that will certainly put pressure on the other for teams namely Leipzig. If only Dortmund won, then they would occupy the second position in the standings and wait for the results of the match between Munich and Leipzig a day longer. Dortmund are doing better with their latest signing E Haaland. He himself has 8 goals in 5 matches just after coming from Salzburg and has a hat trick in his 2nd match. Dortmund are doing better and made a smart move buying. I am again expecting a good result from Dortmund in their next Bundesliga fixture against Leverkusen. In fact again with Win for Dortmund with big margin (maybe like 2-3). |

We hardly wins games in front of our home fans and when we do, it isn't a dominating win. Also Manchester united aren't that easy to beat against top clubs since they come with a very attacking mindset. They already beat us 4-0 and also won us again this season although I can't remember the tournament but still hope Lampard can revenge those defeat when we host them at Stanford bridge. Fingers cross.
United's are not the best either. They have been struggling as well. About Manchester United being "strong", thats only stats speaking and that can be broken in any clash. Chelsea are the favourites at Stamford Bridge Chelsea next 3 meetings: 1) Chelsea vs Man Utd. (EPL) 2) Chelsea vs Spurs. This match will be the most interesting to watch. Even though Southampton had made a good attack on Liverpool in the match before it remained, they didn't score or score any goals, meaning that Southampton is still not on the right track and still loses with a lot of scores.
I am sure Spurs have found the real match so tonight's match they won't waste it let alone this is for competition in the FA cup.
Liverpool has the best defense in PL this season and Southampton to go through that and despite that they made some chances makes me fair to say that they are good in terms of attacking. They have Ings and Long both capable of scoring some good goals. Whatever today might be , I think it will be a good test of Spurs defense today. I am also not confident of Spurs victory though but I am not sure of Spurs either. But let's see how it goes tonight. |

They managed to chase down such a big total with 11 balls to spare proving that they can still win(Sometimes). Kuldeep was pretty bad though he took a couple of important wickets while Bumrah and Jadeja bowled nicely. Lets see if India can bounce back in the 2nd ODI(Most probably will).
The India bowlers were not able to contain the New Zealand batsman even with a good total on the board and India will try their best to bounce back, the odds for New Zealand to win were really high after India scored a huge total and i was not having the confidence to place a bet as i did not expect New Zealand to chase the score so easily. Indian bowling lineup is not in best state. Bumrah just recently recovered and made back into team and management are trying some new chemistry each time. They are well aware of all such risks and are taking so for preparing the youngsters. Batsman did great out there putting up a good total but bowling failed to pick up wickets. And they can't always depend on Ross Taylor as he's getting older.
Well they have lot of players. I think there will be lot of players right for the Taylor's slot but experience is the only worrying factor then. There are lot of players like Guptil , Latham who are dangerous and they yet have lot of years to play cricket. So even if Taylor get retired I don't think there would be much change in performances. |

Today there is an interesting match between Tottenham and Southampton in FA cup.I think Tottenham will win tonight and the odd is relatively good at 1.75 for Tottenham which is playing at home.Tottenham comes fro a great win against Manchester City so I think they will continue with the good performance tonight.
Tonight there is only one match and of course there will be plenty on this match. I am sure Tottenham will continue to have ambitions to win with Southampton because this is to fight for the quarter-finals of Southampton will be conquered by Spurs because their game has begun to show its best. Norwich are waiting to fight with Spurs, let's see. It won't be easy. Southampton made some good attack movements in last game against Liverpool. I think BTTS will be a good choice here. I think that Manchester City has lost motivation totally for the Premier League and if they continue in this way they will risk to fall even out of the rankings that go into Champions League.They need to wake up and start applying the football they are used too.
Well they were doing everything right. Didn't expected Spurs to win with how Manchester City were leading the game with game shot counts and possession but after Zinchenko was sent off Spurs did a good job while they were one down on the defense line and Son's goal was off a deflection. Spurs did well out there in the end with their quick attacking and Mourinho must be happy with what they achieved and against whom. |

After New Zealand lost to England in the super over in the world cup, they're carrying this curse. A tie is a rare event and New Zealand are having them in two consecutive matches leading to super over and losing on both. They need to do something to lift this curse. Maybe wining the next T20I world cup with a good margin would help.
Well what can we say bad luck follows some teams maybe? like VAR toying with Man City so many times and similarly we have super over toying up with NZ . Really horrible finishing from New Zealand and considering the players I have I think it was an easy task for them. I think NZ will choose batting first next time if they happen to win the toss in the last T-20 match of the series. |

I wouldn't blame Southee much. He was clearly trying to do the Yorkers but it wasn't too good and Rohit made most of it. Yeah, even the bowler goes wrong so many times. Have seen Sharma giving 23 runs in the last over that too during a WC match in 2011. Rohit even mentioned that it was his first super over and hence he panicked at first and went for the second run when not needed. NZ deserved to win even the WC last year but we all know what happened.
Yeah almost forgot that. If it would have fallen into keepers hand properly then it would have been out. Also I am glad that the strike came to the right man for the last two balls. Talk about bad-luck of NZ with superovers : they had lost 2 out of 3 super over events within 1 year. One out of which costed them the WC. |

I would love to see Sanju Samson and Washington Sundar again if that is possible, Sanju has got all the credentials to prove himself worthy for a permanent place.
I think now that India has won the series, I think there will be changes likely and those are the names which may be seen in the next T20 lineup. Everyone must be finding it weird as only 2 runs were needed but we should think about the mindset too of the players. One player lost his wicket so the new one takes time to settle down plus the pressure of it being the last over and having to score those 2 runs. Shami took advantage of it and the batsman did a mistake and lost another wicket. In the super over also we saw the WK missing the chance of a run-out. So such mistakes do happen when the team is playing under pressure.
Also, this match was their only chance of not losing the series so that pressure just adds up. It has happened many times earlier as well in IPL when players don't manage even 1 run from the last over to win the match while other teams manage even 30 runs from the last over.
I think I would say both are valid: batsman in pressure and bowler did the god job making most of it. But if I were to pick one with more weight then I would give Shami the credit since 2 runs is easy and he really did a very good job indeed. I also thought it will go out of hand when NZ scored 17 but Sharma proved me wrong.. Not many can hit back to back 6 on the last balls and with that much pressure- in front of such crowd..Whuff!!! well done Rohit... |
