3981  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Bitcoin and default mobile wallet on: April 12, 2021, 03:48:38 PM
Imagine a scenario when all mobile phone companies finally decided to add a custom default bitcoin wallet to all of their devices as factory app. I believe that will further increase the adoption of bitcoin

Wack,  all  surveillance agencies would welcome this. Default bitcoin wallet on mobile threatens you privacy because of  gyro sensor on the board of cell phone. The data from that sensor can be easily lifted, so surveillance agencies use it to their advantage to build the fingerprint of your walking manner. If you care the  privacy of your transactions don't keep bitcoin (and any crypto) on mobile.

Yeah, privacy inference attacks based on accelerometer and gyroscope sensor data are a new and dangerous threat to smart devices. Some mobile platforms, like Android, have no restrictions on the use of these sensors. Also, many companies and manufacturers tend to forget about the privacy issues when making a design decision for their devices. It seems that we are now entering a new era where privacy is not a big priority for companies in this field.
3982  Other / Meta / Re: Meriting a user who just merited you on: April 12, 2021, 02:37:33 PM
For me, it better to merit posts as you see them and not necessarily try to go through the entire post history to find a post to give merit.

Have you seen any good (worthy) posts lately?  Cheesy

Interestingly, the last merit you shared was over a year ago. I rest my case.
3983  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB hits record high at $638 today. Will Standard Protocol be the next BNB? on: April 12, 2021, 02:25:00 PM
I bought BNB for $28-$30 and sold for $50. I thought it was a good time to pull out and I couldn't resist any longer!
Oh well... I don't feel bad about this sale.

I really object to this accusation that we are cheaters!

And it took you more than two years to post this?
I really don't understand what you're trying to accomplish here.  Huh

first, I just became active in the bounty and opened an account again since December 2020.
second, I just realized that my account profile has red trust -1

You reactivated this account on October 21, 2020, after a two-year break and not in December as you claim.
Your account got a negative trust from The Pharmacist since 2018 due to "Abusing bounty with alt accounts", and if you haven't noticed that before, it just confirms that you have a lot more alt account you're playing with.
3985  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which continent do you think is the Poorest/least in the World on: April 12, 2021, 10:44:54 AM
Though this is only an estimate at least we have Data and not just speculative.

it is Antartica and I'm happy to see that Asia is on top.

Congrats to those who lives in top Continent .

Yes. Everybody likes to speculate and no one wants to do a shred of research. It took me literally less than a minute to find these statistics.  Wink

I was surprised to see Asia at the top of the list. I guess China is in charge.

3987  Other / Off-topic / Re: How connected are you to the Matrix? on: April 12, 2021, 09:40:34 AM
The control system is both physical and spiritual. The human is used to control the "physical control system" while "evil spiritual entity" controls the spiritual. You can't really hide everything from the entity you serve... Most people serve the entity. If the entity controls you fully, he most likely knows most things you know.

What a load of crap!
"evil spiritual entity" controls the spiritual world? You mean, like, demons and the like? Well, maybe in your world, but not mine.
3988  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which continent do you think is the Poorest/least in the World on: April 12, 2021, 09:26:29 AM
I'd say that's Antarctica.  Grin

The Antarctica continent has no permanent population, however if conventional GDP methodology is applied which includes salaries of residents and equipment & construction procurement, the biggest 'industries' in Antarctica, the GDP of the continent would extend $1 billion.

3989  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: 2.3 bitcoins were stolen from me! on: April 12, 2021, 09:19:10 AM
I'm not sure, maybe I'm wrong, but it seems to me that the OP is on a wild goose chase here.
If he wanted to prove it was really his wallet, he could have simply signed the address, but he didn't. He seems to be attempting to gain sympathy and pity from other members so that he might get some kind of donation. That is why he also included payment address.

I see it as begging.
3990  Other / Off-topic / Re: The big problem for those centralizing or trying to centralize crypto on: April 12, 2021, 09:06:46 AM
By the way, the Freedom I totally support is the freedom to do what is right/good.

"What is right/good" is a relative term. Each individual is at different levels of understanding of what is right and good. One can be objectively right while another might be in an ambiguous zone. Who will decide what is right and what is wrong? Who will judge us? Who will judge others?
Who will set parameters and create structure?
3991  Economy / Reputation / Re: List the lies from scammer adkin shills, tag reference on: April 11, 2021, 12:07:05 PM
Another newbie account with the obvious fake review for Adkins:

I loved this site. It will be one of my choices if its design is developed and its reliability is mentioned. To be honest, sportsbet is my first choice, but I was impressed by the variety of live matches, even the smallest match, corner bet etc. Here, I will rewrite the experiences I gained by depositing money as soon as possible.

The account was registered on July 16, 2017 and was dormant until recently, and one of the first posts afterwards was a shilling for adkinsbet.
3992  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do You Believe that LOVE Still Exists? on: April 11, 2021, 11:53:32 AM
with enough BTC yes Cheesy

Does Love of Bitcoin exist on you?

If you mean "do I love Bitcoin?" then the answer is yes.
I believe that most of us here are in some way in love with Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.  Grin
3993  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How does companies get money on: April 11, 2021, 11:48:45 AM
Advertisers are responsible for paying for their ad campaigns on the bitcointalk platform. In return, they gain visibility for their project on the world's largest crypto community. This type of advertising can be used to drive traffic to the website and raise brand awareness. Finally, whether it is online gaming or some form of service, this causes the rise in revenue or increasing the user base.
3994  Economy / Reputation / Re: Legendary trying to enroll 2 Alt Accounts at the same signature campaign on: April 11, 2021, 10:34:31 AM
Personally, enrolling with multiple accounts to the same campaign in hopes 1 is selected is still attempting to cheat said campaign. Choose the best account and apply. If your best account doesn't get in, there should be no way a lesser account would make it.

A user can also pm a manager and let them know hey these are all my accounts, give a link to all accounts, and ask if any of them can be accepted. It is not forbidden to have multiple accounts, so it shouldn't result in a tag if done in that way.

This is my point of view. Using multiple accounts to apply is cheating, particularly if it violates the campaign rules.
It's similar to taking part in a competition with multiple applications. Whether or not both accounts win the competition, it is still unfair to the other participants.

As yahoo62278 suggested, a better solution is to communicate with the manager via the PM. And if you don't want to expose the link between your alt accounts, don't apply in the same campaigns.
3995  Other / Off-topic / Re: Don't judge people based on 'appearance' on: April 11, 2021, 09:56:13 AM
I don't know much about others, but my main purpose of remaining in Crypto space is to help build the right tech that will help people during the time of serious crisis. So, we need to keep contributing and solving problems. You will know when the "time" comes, and there will be safe and decentralized tech people who listen to us will rely on.

I'm not sure what this has to do with the topic's title. Furthermore, I'm not sure what God has to do with the cryptosphere.
Could you please elaborate?
3996  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: 2.3 bitcoins were stolen from me! on: April 11, 2021, 09:38:05 AM
Even if we consider what you are saying is true and you have lost 2.3 bitcoins and neglect the fact that the youtube video is 2 years old you should know that once the bitcoins are gone from your wallet it cannot be reverted. Nobody will send you your coins unless someone is really generous. So you should consider your coins lost.
Since 2019, I want to find a way to get my bitcoins back. I've been looking for my bitcoins for 2 years now. If I don’t find them, I will commit suicide. I will never get my bitcoins back. I came to this forum hoping to get my bitcoins back.

First of all, that video doesn't prove anything. You didn't prove it was your wallet, and besides, it's impossible to know for sure that the transaction was made against your will.
Second, threatening to commit suicide in an online community serves no purpose. We don't know who you are in real life, and we can't help you.

If what you say is real, contact local law enforcement authorities and seek psychological support. Friends and relatives could also help. Have you tried talking to anyone about your problem?

3997  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do You Believe that LOVE Still Exists? on: April 11, 2021, 09:13:17 AM
Yes, I believe that LOVE still exists.
Just because we don't see it every day, doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. It's all in how we look at it.

Love comes in so many different shapes and sizes, and while many people may not look at it in the same way, it's still there and it's out there just waiting to be discovered.
3998  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will governments ban Bitcoin like they did with Gold? on: April 11, 2021, 09:08:15 AM
Are you a US citizen? And if yes why centralize the ban, why not make it known where the ban you think that it can happen, US isn't the whole world you know, but even at that I don't think with the adoption greater than it was in past, that the ban on bitcoin would materialize,

While US isn't the whole world, let's not forget they're a world power and what ever they do has a major impact on that section of the global economy. If the US government was to successfully ban bitcoin (which is quite impossible) the rest of the whole would follow suit especially those nation that has a strong relationship with the US government or rely on them for aid).

US has to be used as the references point because among all current government if there was a government we should be more concerned about is the Biden government. He's anti-bitcoin and sooner or later this will begin to reveal itself.

Personally, I am very disappointed with the government's approach to bitcoin; they need to get with the program or face serious consequences. Perhaps it is the regulation that causes the problem, but in any case the simple fact is that US is falling behind in this crypto market and the only way forward is to innovate and be the leader.
I believe that the US is far behind other countries in this market and that American businesses have the right to adopt a crypto policy, formulate their approach and help regulate this exciting new market.
3999  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: April 11, 2021, 08:51:00 AM
My attention now is on Litecoin as the price now can break $260 while in a few hours ago can break $230 (if I am not mistaken).
But since many other altcoins that we can use for a gamble, we can use that coin to prevent the fees.

I fully agree. Litecoin is a good coin to use if you want to avoid paying high fees for gambling transactions. Compared to Bitcoin, it has a better scaling capacity. Plus, Litecoin is a very attractive investment for those who choose to invest in the cryptocurrency market in the long run.
4000  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: April 10, 2021, 01:07:35 PM
The reason why some gambling platforms go bit or mbtc are the fact that you can know what exactly you are using or holding in it simplest terms.

I do not believe that any of the other units should be included. Bits, mbits, mbtc, and uBTC will be more puzzling to newcomers. I'm still having trouble converting between those.
