  • The higher the bet amount of the heart symbol is, the better your chances are to reach the top 5.
Does this mean that it's based on luck, a sort of raffle system, or is the leaderboard purely based on the highest wager amount on the heart? (i.e. for the letters, there is only the requirement to keep the minimum bet amount)
3982  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetKing.io -50BTC Jackpot-30BTC max bet! faucet- 25% rakeback. BTC,ETH,LTC DICE on: December 04, 2017, 04:10:40 PM
By others you mean actmyname? The guy with a dozen negative feedbacks Cheesy
All of which have unfounded claims and 'evidence', mind you.

Bankroll profit in BTC is around 35BTC, but in FIAT, it's 12 million.
BKB is valued in FIAT, not in BTC
Bankroll profit has been 12 million $ and therefore BKB tokens should be valued with the current total bankroll profit.

Bankroll value Sep 4th = 6.5 million
Bankroll value today = 18.5 million
Bankroll profit = 12 million
The profit is the casino's profit. i.e. money gained from gamblers. Clearly, you had a misunderstanding as to what 'bankroll profit' meant.

-snip-
That's not how it is calculated. The initial token price is calculated with the prices at the time, not the prices now. The BTC, ETH and LTC should be considered 'sold' for the BKB tokens. If you wanted to profit off of the cryptocurrencies, then you should have simply not participated in the ICO.
The profit does change with the price of the coins because it's based on FIAT value and is a direct conversion.
I'm sure you wouldn't have started complaining if the BTC price dropped down to $1000, right? By buying BKB, you're hedging. Not investing in both BTC and the casino.
3985  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO][BKB] BetKing Bankroll Token - Tokens distributed to your account on: December 02, 2017, 11:58:50 PM
Shit, due to the BTC run, this is a bad investment for me. On the book, I would make a loss if I sold now. It's like 6 K USD while BTC now is at 10 K USD.

Even though I invested in PreICO, got the best bonus, and my byteball and BCH was also invested.
Exactly. You invested in BKB rather than BTC. As soon as you invested the bitcoins, you 'sold' them.

What do I do know? Hold? Wait for the profits of betking to explode and sell then? How are the chances for that?
Up to you. You can sell now or hold to wait for profits from the casino.
3986  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetKing.io -50BTC Jackpot-30BTC max bet! faucet- 25% rakeback. BTC,ETH,LTC DICE on: December 02, 2017, 08:09:15 AM
so in other words, if the site generates profit from the 4th december until the next buyback and the price of the current buyback is $1 there is no way that the next buyback is less than that not even if cryptomarket crashed by 80% did I get it right?

I like this more and more Smiley it's like a hedge of just normal stock investing
The buyback price is unaffected by the market price on exchanges. The buyback price is calculated based on the initial funds raised during the ICO plus the profit of the site, distributed to each token.

That means you get a price of 0.09286 + profit / 100,000,000 dollars for each token. There's no variables that have to do with the market price.

can someone explain if the sold back tokens are burned so the circulation decreases like other dividend tokens or not?
They are out of circulation as dean buys them back to reclaim the bankroll.
3989  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO][BKB] BetKing Bankroll Token - Tokens distributed to your account on: December 01, 2017, 12:22:34 AM
I think the question boils down to this:

Let's say there are 10 million tokens out there and $10 million in profits over a quarter - then each token would gain $1 in value (obviously, I'm making all these numbers up).

At the end of the quarter, 1 million tokens are taken out of circulation.

So the next quarter, if there are another $10 million in profits, is that distributed between 9 million remaining tokens or the full 10 million?  I assume it's the 10 million - otherwise, all the profits in the casino would just go to a smaller and smaller group of token holders, which would make no sense and BetKing would never gain anything as a result.  But i think that's the question he's asking.
exactly it's nowhere clear what does the buyback do and why you would prefer the buyback from simply selling on hitbtc for example
How is it unclear? The profits are distributed across all tokens. Dean buys back the tokens on the site. The price on HitBTC < the price on BetKing.io. You can choose to dump on there and treat it like another short-term investment... or you can let your token value grow with the site. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I wonder what happened to the faucet feature? I was amazed when I first saw it
It was one cent. I don't think it's that impressive.

Still no info about this buyback process what dev will do this token more like it will get burned and supply will be decreased after every buyback round.

buyback means that the tokens are burned or out of circulation? otherwise what's the point  Huh
You're buying BKB as an investment to the casino. You profit when dean buys they back. Then dean just simply reclaims the bankroll. What more is there?

Literally replied to this already. Only a few posts before you.
Dean is buying back the tokens to reclaim the bankroll.

The tokens are then out of circulation. At the end of it (once Dean has 100% of the tokens) then he will be in essence controlling 100% of the bankroll.

3993  Economy / Goods / Re: In Canada, where is the fastest, lowest fee, and highest limit option to buy BTC on: November 30, 2017, 12:13:18 AM
Kraken for fees. (<= 0.16% for maker, <= 0.26% for taker)
Quadrigacx for daily limits. (500k cad but .2-.5% fees)
Even at Tier 4, Kraken is a maximum of $100k USD daily and $500k USD monthly

If you're working with <$25k usd daily deposits in FIAT then Kraken's probably your best bet (their fees also decrease with higher trading volume), otherwise Quadrigacx

Still would be nice if there was something published somewhere with all of this info instead of tribal knowledge.

For example, I'd like to know why it says that deposits aren't allowed in my country so I can get in on the buyback. Why can't BK buy back my tokens?
For the most part, a lot of this was answered on the Discord or Telegram channel. (And in this thread.)
Deposits may not be allowed because your country prohibits online gambling (e.g. US)

buyback means that the tokens are burned or out of circulation? otherwise what's the point  Huh

although it is interesting that there is not actually any trace of auction rules on that thread....

You can't bid as 0.0202

You can only for 0.01 increment, so you are biding 0.03
3996  Economy / Reputation / Re: Lauda, Sold bitcointalk accounts, Giving neg for others for same reason. on: November 29, 2017, 12:53:33 AM

This is clearly buying account. First bid 0.01btc second bid 0.02btc and third bid http://prntscr.com/hgikxp 0.031BTC!
I can't describe you how disappointed I am.
The screenshot literally contradicts your comment. The third bid was 0.03. Xanis bid 0.031, which was not an authorized increment. Don't you think spammers could potentially use that?
As for the first bid, that's usually a thing that people do to bump up their post count. Sometimes you'll get random people entering Collectible auctions because they know the auction's starting bid is always lower than the value of the actual item.

Same thing here.
I can't say anything about the second bid of 0.02, though. I'm not clear on the account prices back then so this could have a legitimate bid.
3997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO][BKB] BetKing Bankroll Token - Tokens distributed to your account on: November 29, 2017, 12:47:57 AM
Thanks!  Do you know how long the buyback period lasts? And do I just need to have the BKB on the site by the end of the buyback period, or by Dec 4th when it starts?  Thanks!
BKB needs to be on the site before Dec 4th. You can then choose to opt-in to the buyback.

If so, then 10% of your BKB will be converted to the currency you choose. (IIRC)

The pharma you just a pathetic hypocrite. trying to gain DT2 users trust by sucking them up.

Hypocrite... wait, what? Even if the latter of what you're saying is true, how is that hypocritical?

3999  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO][BKB] BetKing Bankroll Token - Tokens distributed to your account on: November 28, 2017, 05:12:36 PM
Is there any official information on how and when the buyback process will take place?
The buyback period begins December 4th. There will be an opt-in option for those that want 10% of their balance on BetKing.io to be sold. You need to have the tokens on BetKing before then.

That is an extremely asinine argument. There is no reason why someone cannot post more than once a day and still have quality responses.
