Is there a way to earn over 1btc per day without hacking?

Not without extra capital, nope.

You need like 100 bitcoin in order to earn 1 bitcoin /day from investment profits.

Or you need to offer some really good service to be paid that much. The bitcoin economy is not fully developed yet, maybe try selling some e-books or something.
3982  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: October 03, 2015, 06:13:36 AM
apart from this signature campaign + avatar campaign that i am part of, i didnt.

I am trying to do some trading soon, but currently i`m just too lazy to do so.
3983  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is NOT an MLM kind of ponzi on: October 03, 2015, 06:12:35 AM
Bitcoin will only go up in the future, the big picture will look like this:

So let them do their hating and focus on your own business, which should be getting as much BTC possible while it's still possible to obtain 1 BTC without needing to be already rich. Owning 1 BTC will be the equivalent of owning BRK type A stocks. It's beyond me how some people still not realize this fact. Owning 1 unit of BTC: buying a parcel in the most important network ever.

Every great technology, scientist, etc.. was made fun off, bashed and was put down before his invention or himself wasn't recognized. It's just how it goes in this world, it's just a human nature.

Until then, let's keep getting those coins. That's at least how I think.

Yep that is the voice of the bears.

Every market is BULLS VS BEARS, and both have a voice, it depends which screams louder than the other and how viable the project is , that determines who will win.

Dont worry, bulls will be the one that win this.
3984  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's the hardest thing to understand about Bitcoin for you? on: October 03, 2015, 06:10:19 AM
Why are people in the newbie section opening up 10 threads/day about the same topic, instead of using the search box in the upper-right corner.

It is a very hard thing to understand indeed...

3986  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: good places to hide paper wallet ? on: October 03, 2015, 06:01:21 AM
I am searching for a good place to hide my paper wallet
i don't want any one to see it or try to scan the QR code
please don't give me silly places, I really want to hide it in secure place

It;s funny because if you ask for it, and people tell their best hiding places, then it is not a good hiding place anymore. Obvious right?

I would not tell here my hiding places, but probably try it hide under the bed, or below a couch.

3987  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Should we or not create a social network for bitcoiners? on: October 03, 2015, 05:58:22 AM
A social media site, specifically dedicated to all cryptocurrencies and crypto-related projects, or other decentralized ideas, would be perfect.

It would not necessarly need to have geek/nerd feeling, i`m sure we could make it a really mainstream social media site if we market it correctly.

We just need a good team to get working on it! Zuckerberg 2.0 for hire...

Speaking the truth is always better than just fade away. Dev please answer like an adult person Smiley

Truth ? 90% of crypto are lies.

yes too true, 90% of crypto is complete bullshit ... it's the 10% that's not that has potential to change the world. Unfortunately I don't think VTR is in the 10% now, but I did earlier. Dev is logging in almost everyday but doesn't communicate. That's a real shame!!!!

Yep too bad this would have been a great project. Why does nobody make a "community takeover" thread, and put some real devs to work on this project.

I think this project is to important to let it die isnt it?

The original dev lacked the skills. Why would a new dev with sufficient talent pick-up VTR when he could just start a new coin? I'm not saying it's a bad idea, but in 99% of cases community takeovers are a waste of time. I don't see a compelling case to keep VTR going, but I do think a torrent based crypto is a no-brainer. Just need a solid dev with stamina like jl777

Well then start a new coin, i dont necessarly care about the organization of it.

I just care to not lose this technology/initiative/ idea, just because we got a bad dev here. This idea is too important to let it just die because of this coin not being succesful.

Who are you to make satire with thoughts of the others telling "was a satire"?

I was referring to my own post. I have no idea what you are talking about, please re-read my posts and you will understand better.

No because first not the miners but the technology regulate bitcoin. Then the technology regulate the digital bitcoin The digital currency, the currency of internet). The papers bitcoin (the banknotes) will be another thing. If it will be produced (printed) more banknotes than the real number of bitcoins then will be trouble. The technology or your miners in this case can do nothing. At least the technology known since this moment in the production of the digital bitcoin (the internet currency).

No you misunderstand me. The miners do regulate bitcoin, because they have the voting rights.

So whatever issue/problem/event/implementation happens with bitcoin, the miners can veto it.

Not very democratical, but still more fair than the political system, because atleast miner's vote is transparent, while political elections can be faked.
And the most of the miner do the confirmation so they can handle the list of transaction and also the mining is the greatest way to earn bitcoin, they can earn almost 50 btc per day (mining company in china can do that).

Yep, bitcoin is not a democracy, its a mining oligarchy, because essentially it's the miners who own bitcoin, while we just lend it from them.

If the miners would all got together to form a 70% ownership cartel, then we would all lose our money.

I just see that more and more camgirls start to popup on this forum, so i guess now the camgirl industry has finally catched on to bitcoin.

Good job. Porn is a big industry to be explored. So now you can do that too with bitcoin.
3995  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the safest way to store Bitcoins? on: October 03, 2015, 05:21:48 AM
Print out a paper wallet and put copies in a safety deposit box at a trusted bank.

Lol thats like putting your sheep in the lion's mouth to "safeguard it"

No you cannot trust deposit boxes with bitcoin, too risky. In Greece they dont let you even to your deposit boxes, not to mention about atm being offline and banks not giving out money.

Better buy a safe for 2000-3000$ if you have like 100,000$ worth of bitcoin or some significant amount atleast.

placing anything in safety deposit box is different than putting your money in the bank. because bank can have access to the money you put in your account so they can block or limit it but since they don't have access to your safety deposit box they can not do anything about it.
besides as long as you can make a secure cold storage on your own and "free" I think paying any money for any sort of wallet is a waste of money.

Better check the news , and then inform yourself bro:

3996  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the safest way to store Bitcoins? on: October 03, 2015, 05:20:04 AM

You can buy a good safe for much cheaper.   I would say in high hundreds you can get one that does pretty well, main thing is get one that is heavy as it is hard to carry out.   In my highschool day's I worked somewhere that sold gun safes.... i can tell you it will take a team to move those things if you buy quality.   But you can spend thousands and get super high quality (some are so heavy you have to put extra construction under the floor so it does not sag).

I`d just chain the safe to the wall or some solid thing then it's immovable, or better yet, built it inside the wall and hide it behind a picture like in the movies.

But not all are like Greece.  In the US it's pretty likely in the foreseeable future a safety deposit box is safe.  If your countries credit starts to go down a lot... downgraded like greece was being ... go get it out there are signs before it get's that bad.

I strongly disagree, unfortunately, anything stored in the bank is the banks property as you loan them out and they will "promise" it to pay it back. When a bank goes bankrupt, in the process of liquidation , it will sell all assets (including your deposit boxes) to pay down the liabilities.

Sorry but i am just not taking that risk. If you really want a safety box, then go with an independent firm that offers this service, but not with a bank.

If paper money loses its value at least I can use it for firewood lol. I think there will always be some form of paper money, but I see crypto really taking over imho. Everything is going digital I could be wrong but I see it as inevitable in a good way.

No they cant its very funny. Paper money burns badly and too fast, so it doesnt even generate enough heat to go through winter on it.

In some places the fiat money is literally worth less than goat shit, because goat shit burns better than fiat:

I was making a joke lol. I honestly have never literally burned my money other than fireworks. Good to know though!

How about your gas stove or central heating? That is I guess the most literal form of burning your money nowadays Wink

With a bit of accelerant you get anything to burn. Wink

Well its probably illegal to burn money paper notes in many places, so its even much worse than goat shit because you cant even use it for heating Cheesy Cheesy

NEM is a cheap copycat of NXT
earth is a disc

I wonder if there's anyone who believes this poll wasn't rigged so far.  The only options in the list anyone has ever heard of are Ethereum, Bitshares, and NXT, yet the one nobody has heard of, NEM, somehow got to #1.  Can you say rigging the ballots?

Lots of people have heard of nem.

Polls on BTT are completely useless but I wouldn't call them rigged. Like how is this one rigged ? It's useless as - as always - it's a popularity and sockpuppet contest but does that really qualify as rigged ?
Also stating that nobody has ever heared of NEM is imho quite ignorant. YOU haven't heared of NEM (or not much, seeing as you described it as a mere clone in the polo trollbox unless the r0ach there isn't you) but that doesn't mean noone else has.

I heard of NEM, and once I bothered to install the client, but it was just very hard to grasp even the installed. Now they mgiht have made it easier since but back then it was stupid.

It offers nothing new of NXT, and its is a clinging parasite on the fame of NXT. I`d rather prefer NXT, even if it has a shitty marketing team now, than NEM, so sorry.

3999  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: October 03, 2015, 05:05:23 AM

I personally knew a few people, whose lives got destroyed due to their addiction to gambling.

In my opinion, the addiction towards gambling is even worse than that with drugs or alcohol.

I have seen a lot of people claiming that they have profited from gambling.

But I am not yet to see one for real.

I think the only people who benefit from gambling are the ones who run casinos and online gambling sites.

In the long term they might have not benefited, but there are always the lucky guys who come, see and conquer.

I know personally a guy who won more than 20,000€ from gambling, and then he stopped, and walked away with the prize.
4000  Economy / Economics / Re: What you will do if bitcoin price drops to 50$ and you have lots of bitcoin on: October 03, 2015, 05:01:10 AM
The thing is most of us would invest thousands at bitcoin at 50 dolalrs expecting it to return to 200 or goes aboves, this happened after bitcoin hits 1000 dolalrs ,whe the first dump camed ,several bought at 600 and 700 dollars, expecting to get a return in a short time and well it fail again, soo its a kindy risky but well the reward can be bigger.

It has low probability of happening but I would rather phase out in Litecoin or other coins that would rise in conjunction.

I would not sell out in fiat, that would be capitulation. Nor I would buy more, i would just wait for LTC price to rise or NXT probably.
