3981  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Is Gambling Seen As An Irresponsible Act In Some Society on: August 12, 2021, 04:11:48 PM
It's because a lot of people can't control themselves and just like with any other activities you can't have too much of it as the outcome never ends well. That's what i'd say if the main question isn't related to what you've mentioned.

I doubt the police are doing something abusive, maybe you missed a detail or two about their raid since gambling houses could get you involved with illegal stuff like drugs or something similar. Even if gambling isn't an illegal activity they always have the right to act whenever they have proof.

Some interesting League matches starting in an hour or two, going for a multi play between Liiv Sandbox to win vs KT Rolster and over 3.5 on LNG vs Suning @1.8 the odds on the over is moving a bit higher but i'm still confident on this two.

I might be wrong here but Liiv Sandbox is one win away from sealing one of the top playoffs spot and this is the best chance they'll get because their last match is against Damwon.

Suning and LNG are both competitive teams, their last meeting during this summer season ended 2-1 tbh i'd give the edge on Suning as they have the tendency to surprise other teams during the playoffs but LNG had a decent improvement this season so hopefully we'd see a 3-1 scoreline.

I wonder how services like cryptogamblers.pub would continue when fees goes to the bare minimum at stake? Nice nice.
Their service would still be in good use no matter what since they're the only site where we could exchange directly within stake.

It appears the withdrawal fees have been significantly reduced unless I'm mistaken.  It looks as though they are now below a dollar.  I know this had been discussed in the past, and I'm sure they were waiting until they felt it was safe to do so.  I think that time is upon us, so for gamblers of lower amounts or those that are continuously moving funds off the site, this is no doubt a welcome change.  I appreciate it and know they didn't have to do this, so I am thankful for their effort in making sure that every aspect of the user experience is constantly being improved.
Same here, as much as I want to complain about how much fees i've spent i'm glad they've reduced it. This low fee might not last long but it's a nice change of pace.  Cheesy

Using the blue asterisk on Arcona for now since this is the first time we've had a campaign paying with NFT.

Thanks for the post Ralle. I didn't know that RBF would trigger KYC or freeze at any book. If you know of others, please post.
Can't say if it'll trigger KYC but in my case I didn't have to go through any KYC.

Another site worth mentioning is nanogames I remember they used to have a sig campaign as well, their thread is quite inactive as the last post was 2 years ago but they still have a lot of players though.

They don't have any minimum withdrawal for bitcoin, I even double checked in their discord just to make sure and the fees are somewhat high at BTC.0004 (screenshot of the withdrawal page).

3987  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL- Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: August 11, 2021, 04:06:51 AM
That's another win as IG pulled off the reverse sweep, with that win there's going to be another set of matches the three way tiebreaker will start then the upper bracket matches will follow.

I'll take my chances on Aster@1.53 not much analysis this time other than a gut pick since this is just a best of 1 if it was a best of 3 I might've switch to the over.

And there's a lot of league matches scheduled tomorrow so i'm looking forward to that specifically the LPL playoffs.
3988  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Accumulating small odds or choosing one or two big odds on: August 11, 2021, 02:58:19 AM
That's right, esports are now starting to gain a lot of interest and have almost become the most frequently appearing topic even on the small screen where they show the game live. Maybe this is just based on the hype for esports themselves. Because making it popular for a while is possible, but sports are still the main place for betting for big bookies.
The growth is not just hype, it took years for esport to reach this point and the reason why it's popular is because of how enjoyable these games are, like most sports you can still have fun watching even though you don't understand the entire game and a lot of people grew playing these games.

There are numbers of Esport that being catered from different sports betting houses, they are now being played by gambler who love this types of games, but like you, I also got an impression that this kind of gambling is more risky as it's prone to manipulations, there are lots of mafias everywhere and this kind of venue is easier as players can easily make a wrong move that will affect the entire teams performances,
You guys are not wrong though esports are so difficult to regulate but only a few get caught. You can easily avoid this issue since they target smaller tournaments and the bigger teams can't afford to do those type of things since their career is on the line.
3989  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: casino chat moderator on: August 10, 2021, 06:39:37 PM
There are moderators that get paid and others that don't since i've seen some regular users become moderators at one point but they're not that active like the other moderators where there's a fixed schedule. On nitrogensports their moderators are like a bonus position since their support team manages the chat. Imo don't expect much on a moderator position since not all chats are that active and require heavy moderation unless they're asking for more tasks similar to a support.

Do you have any knowledge of in what situations sportsbet ask for KYC. Is there purely a withdrawal threshold where they ask for KYC, and if so, what is that?
Yes, there is a withdrawal threshold for KYC here's the part that was mentioned in their terms and condition.

Also don't use RBF(replace by fee) on your deposits as it will trigger a "freeze" on your account, you'll be forced to contact the support and the security team to fix this issue.

Clean 2-0 win from Elephant yesterday, moving on to the final day of the group stage i'm liking IG+1.5 vs Aster. The odds for this match seems about right but i'm seeing a bit of value on the side of IG since they could push this to three maps. At the same time this is a decider match for the round 2 seed, hopefully they'd make it somewhat close. Also interesting to see the handicap odds on betsy is somewhat better even with boosted odds.

3992  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best wallet for Crypto Sportbooks deposits/withdrawals? on: August 10, 2021, 02:16:30 AM
You can risk out but for sure it is written into their TOS but since you do already have the experience and prove it out then its safe to presume that it is still possible to do so but always mind off the risk
I checked Binance's TOS multiple times and there's nothing mentioned about restricted transactions coming from other services so it should be fine.

The only issue is that in the future they could make some changes in the TOS and include those restrictions.

i not really really recommend non custodial specially if funds been holding is for long term too.
Why not ? non custodial is better because you have control over your wallet.
3993  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Blockchain casino Vs Traditional casino on: August 09, 2021, 06:32:09 PM
The same thing goes for blockchain casinos, they still have a house edge on their game. I think these comparison shows how well casinos try to improve their own way of making things fair and not just rely on the blockchain alone.

As a knowledgeable gambler with years of experience, can you please share more clarity to this statement as am a bit confused, if I understand what you mean by houses depending on blockchain hashes to decide the result of the game?
I guess what he's trying to say is that some casinos use blockchain hashes to determine the results but they call themselves as traditional casinos rather than a blockchain casino. The better term for this is probably on chain casino since these type of casinos used to be popular back then.
3994  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do poker and sports betting skills correlate? on: August 09, 2021, 05:11:28 PM
Most likely a coincidence, it's possible for them to have better decision making skills but when it comes to making predictions it shouldn't have that much effect. I agree with what the others mentioned, these three are very active when it comes to the gambling board so it's not that surprising to see them win the prediction contest. Aside from that, it'll be interesting if all 30 poker participants also participate in some form of sports betting tournament.

Dota is the only interesting matches scheduled for today so i'll go for dotapit and take the chance on Elephant@1.9(boosted) h2h results is on the side of VG but I feel like they're due for a win since they've met several times already. I'm relying on Elephant's recent form after they've qualified from the TI qualifiers. On top of that this match will decide the round 2 seed since there's a potential three way tiebreaker if Elephant loses and assuming VG wins their last game against Aries.

Also Navi made an announcement about their players(ramzes, mag, rodjer) going inactive after they failed in the TI qualifiers.

3996  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT games also another way to gamble your money? on: August 09, 2021, 01:40:11 AM
Right now there are huge lists of them where you have a choice on whether you buy tokens on their early pre-sales or invest in the game hoping that you will get your ROI as fast as possible but there is no assurance about it. Is this gamble its true sense it has just some part where you need to take the risk but not that low odds where you can get your capital back?
That depends on the game you're playing since not all of them are in the same position as the others where there's less risk and yes they're definitely a gamble since you're relying on the exchange rate to stabilize until you get back the money you've spent from the start.

For those who plan on investing it's better to understand the risks first, as long as you can afford the money you've spent then it doesn't hurt to invest no matter how late you are compared to the others since that type of situation is kind of similar to how we invest in crypto.
3997  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Table] Withdrawal Fees and Withdrawal Amounts on Crypto Casinos on: August 08, 2021, 05:18:54 PM
Windice's minimum withdrawal amount is reduced to .00033893, I guess their minimum is fixed to $15.

I'm having issues logging in on playbetr but their support confirmed that the minimum withdrawal for bitcoin(including alts) is $0.2 and the withdrawal fees is based on the state of the network.
3998  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Gambling Platform In Your Region on: August 08, 2021, 04:05:35 PM
Tbh I don't think it's a good idea to share casinos within your region since they usually have geo restriction and there are several threads that covers the same topic. I could mention the best casino in my place but I feel like there's no point unless you're planning to list every single casino mentioned in this thread and update it frequently. It's better if you check threads and sites that focuses on casino reviews like btcgosu or bitvegas since they have their own way of rating casinos.

Unexpected AF can win 2-0 against NS.
I already saw it coming since AF were able to beat Damwon and Gen G recently. On top of that it's surprising to see Liiv Sandbox contesting for the first LCK spot.

Switching to LCS just for today, since I like the odds on Cloud9 @1.6 this summer season they took down Team Liquid 3-0. With that said i'm hoping for a similar outcome, it probably doesn't mean much since certain teams can pull off upsets but imo Cloud9 are slightly better.

Edit : Yikes what a letdown from Cloud9, props to Liquid for the upset.
4000  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Watford FC Main Partner - UFC Betting Partner - $1M Race II ⚽ 🥊 on: August 08, 2021, 12:16:43 AM
Anyone has good suggestions to wager for reaching plat 3 before ripping the rest of the balance? I have tried dice 1.1 and 1.01 but the loss streaks are more than 1 per 100 rolls. Plinko low 8 and baccarat also doesn't wager with 1:80 ratio.
That's somewhat normal when it comes to any game, at some point the ratio becomes uneven no matter what happens since there's the house edge. If you want to try a different game i'd suggest crash but it's time consuming compared to dice and plinko. Imo as long as you've wagered your deposit 100x or more then i'd say that's worth enough.
