3981  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 06, 2021, 07:39:16 PM

Sometimes a team will struggle especially if they miss one piece of their star player, and in the case of the Warriors, that was Klay Thompson who was a clutch player and knows how to win. Did you still remember that Thompson was the big reason for the Warrior's comeback when they were down 3-1 against the OKC with WB and Durant, after that season, Durant joined the Warriors and the Warriors won their championship as they got stronger.

There're no doubts about Klay he's like Pippen when MJ still playing here playing. He keeps giving Step the help that he needed and always fills his lapses.

They are a perfect duo who will kill you from the long range. The best offense is the defense system inside this league. You can't just leave anyone as both can kill you in a just split of your eyes.

They will be tested once again after those injuries they are now coming back with much stronger rivals. They are not the heavy favorite to win the title but in terms of capabilities; they are no longer at the bottom they can surprise everyone for sure! Wink

They surprised me last season when they almost made it to the playoffs, Curry was playing very well, it's just that he cannot carry the team alone as the other teams are full of all-stars, unlike the Warriors where only Curry could produce points consistently. With Thompson coming back, they will likely become better but I think their journey to the championship will be harder compared to the past since the Lakers are a heck of a team now.
3982  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not make curiosity to people around you while you are playing gambling. on: September 06, 2021, 01:46:44 PM
I knew how to gamble when I was a kid, as I get older, I have experienced some problems due to gambling but were able to solve that problem.

I'm thankful that I did not face a serious problem and I was not seriously addicted to gambling, if I can turn back the time, I would still not change as I love my childhood experience and though I made mistakes because of gambling, I also learn a lot because of gambling and that's what I used now to face and manage the risk of investing in crypto.

Indeed, some people did not see how valuable Green is in the lineup, he may not be scoring a lot but he is an all-around player who can contribute on the assists, rebounds, and defensive plays. In the 2016 NBA Finals, Draymond Green was suspended one game, and that was taken advantage by the Cavaliers, Lebron's team, and the Cavaliers won the championship that time.

https://theundefeated.com/features/nba-finals-history-draymond-green-lebron-james-game-5-suspension/
I would definitely agree that him getting one suspension was the reason why Cavs won that specific game, but the final game was basically just a horrible one GSW all around. Draymond still had an amazing game he had 32 points, 15 rebounds and 9 assists that game, but when you keep Klay at 14 and Steph at 17 then you win the game. Draymond never played another game that great, dude knew he had to pick it up when other two was covered like crazy and he did his best but wasn't enough.

I would say there is a level where a player is a lot more important than what stats show, and after a while the stats are so horrible that what he brings aside from stats starts to be bad. Draymond had that a year ago, whatever he did wasn't enough to justify his bad stats, and he is getting worse as well, his three point shooting is gone too, so he is a great leader on court and I like that but he needs to be a lot more assertive when playing as well.

There's a good point here.

COLUMN: PBA better mount a full bubble before all hell breaks loose

Quote
CHICAGO - I just tested positive for pessimism over this fractured, ongoing PBA Philippine Cup conference in Bacolor, Pampanga.

My symptoms are serious doubt and mild outrage.

According to my sources, over 10 positive COVID-19 tests have now infected the tournament and I have a bad feeling that the league is not necessarily forthcoming about the matter.

I say that because the official statement the PBA issued yesterday regarding the postponement of the game between Meralco and Ginebra was spectacularly vague. It soundly defeated the purpose of a press release, a tool meant to convey clarity and withstand scrutiny.

read for more.....

My opinion is, they should act now and make it a full bubble if they don't want to compromise the rest of the conference, the virus could spread so fast, and these players not staying in one location might put them at risk of getting infected, one person gets infected and it could ruin everything.
3985  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anderson Silva vs Tito Ortiz on September 11 on: September 06, 2021, 08:19:58 AM
Odds now for Tito is 6.6 while 1.09 for Anderson. As much as I would like to take on that juicy line for the underdog but I can't see him winning Grin I guess I'll just become a spectator here. I don't expect a KO but Silva should be able to land a lot of stiff jabs while evading haymakers/overhands.
Just don't touch that odds if you don't see even a very small chance that Tito would win this fight. Gambling is fun if you bet on a fighter that you think has a chance, if not, you are just wasting money and you'll not enjoy watching betting on the fighter you are not confident to win.

Maybe look for the handicap betting, that would best suit you, I guess.
3986  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: September 06, 2021, 07:09:38 AM

I agree, there's already a lot of hype specially from fans of both boxers, so hopefully it can live up to the expectations from the first round. Also, I would be interested to see the face off, both doesn't speak English but I wonder if Casimero will continue his bad mouthing of Inoue and then Inoue replying thru interpreter. Yeah, this fight is becoming personal, specially on the part of Inoue. So that is a extra motivation for him to show his "monster" against the big mouth and brandish Filipino.

Forcing him to showcase his 100% skills and talent to make sure Casimero will no longer use his mouth after this fight.

Those bad-mouthing are an extra motivation to gain inspiration. I love seeing these two fighters to go beyond the limits.
Both are strong and can KO with their strong punch. Give them a chance and for sure they will take care of it.

Casimero needs to work fans all over the world really want him to go down. Those trash talks have the same impact.
just like how the bad guys from the movie.

More talks, more hatred and more hypes for this fight to happen.

We fans are the ones who are heavily affected when we see someone trash-talking our favorite fighter, but the fighter himself knows it's part of the business, and Casimero is not that bad, it's just his character in the ring and he is living with it, the real judgment is when they actually fought in the ring which would happen by the end of the year as reported.
3987  Local / Pilipinas / Re: May tax ba ang Cryptocurrency? on: September 05, 2021, 09:50:37 PM

I mean tax evasion.
Share your thoughts and experiences, hirap kasi na parang ilegal tong ginagawa natin dahil wala naman talagang batas ukol dito
But maybe in the future BIR can have a system or a way to know who owns and earn thru bitcoin para magkarron ng. Pag naging legal na ito sa bansa posible na magkakaroon ng regulations about dun and eventually makakapag pataw sila ng tax. But before that kailangan muna itong pagaralan ng Bir before ipatupad ito dahil ito ay komplikado and volatile.

As we can read in this report, https://www.cnnphilippines.com/business/2021/8/24/BIR-gaming-Axie-Infinity-tax.html

Axie Infinity is a crypto asset, it's already tax now and the BIR is requiring everyone who is earning from this app to pay the tax due, if we don't know how to compute, we can always ask bookkeepers or accountants to guide us.

3989  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [WARNING!] For gamblers using coins.ph on: September 05, 2021, 08:36:29 PM
I am using coins.ph for quite a while now but I haven't tried to use my address  on a gambling site. Since there is binance and I trusted the platform, I preferred using it for convenience.
As far as I know Binance also restricted, you can’t deposit any crypto that are coming from your gambling activities better to check the ToS of Binance now to avoid any inconvenience. With my gambling activities, I always use Electrum for my withdrawals and coinsph is only for withdrawals in peso, this is way more safe I believe.
I read the TOS of Binance but I could not find in the rules that gambling funds are not allowed.

https://www.binance.com/en/terms

I think only coins.ph are restricting it, they have different regulators so things are different, however, it doesn't mean that the rules still stick forever, we should also expect that in the long run, they maybe add more strict restrictions on using the platform and that includes prohibiting from your Binance wallet in sending and receiving gambling funds.
3990  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 05, 2021, 08:21:02 PM
Will they be called splash triplets if ever he showed consistency in his game?  Grin I wish Thompson will be back on his old game and not be mentally affected by two consecutive injuries. He was suppose to start the season but was blown by a ruptures Achilles tendon. Reports tell that he may not make a 2021-2022 season debut but possibly in January.

That's the problem, they already have a big 3 already, and Wiggins I would say is also inconsistent last year. That's why I said that if he can elevate his game with Klay on the line, GSW could surprise us in the western conference. As long as Klay can play next season, it will be fine, and hopefully he is back and recovered 100%.
I honestly believe that Wiseman is a great potential player as well and they could trade Wiggins to get some side pieces as well. Just keep it Curry-Klay-Dray-Wiseman and then get some side pieces and you will be fine, the fifth person on the starting five doesn't matter way too much because they will simply just use curry-klay combo most of the time and only pass when the fifth is open.

However I believe that they need a great bench, because most of the time either curry or klay stays on if the game is close, and that means they need people around them, like shaun livingston, or younger iguodala, or others like that back in the day. That should help them reach to a place where they are much better and could definitely end up with some more wins if they could make a trade like that.

The current roster is fine, as long as Thompson starts to play and get the same stats he got when he was still active, then things could possibly change for this team, we will see the old warriors again, and definitely, they will be an exciting team to watch, probably a big surprise this season.
3991  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Magdagdag ng bagong coins si Coins.PH!!! on: September 05, 2021, 12:03:38 PM
I tried the chainlink coin and wow as in napawow talaga ko sa fee ng pag transfer coins wallet to other external wallet. I havent tried to other yet like KNC and USDT kasi di ko pa naman alam kung san sya gagamitin.

I tried to check now, 5 digits yung fee ng chainlink and sa usdc. Sino b naman gagamit non palabas sa other external wallet. Pinaka convenient na gamitin talaga is yung xrp kasi sobrang liit ng fee for transaction.

Kahit from exchanges, napaka cheap pa rin ang withdrawal fee if you send to coins.ph address.
3992  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 04, 2021, 09:24:52 PM
LMA goes to Nets and Deandre Jordan goes to Lakers. I believe both of these moves are useless moves, not like they are going to provide anything more than 10 minutes and probably not every game neither, when they play it will be around 10 minutes but their overall average will be like 6 minutes or so from all the minimum amount of games they play.

These are the type of contracts we call "locker room veteran" and both teams knew that they already have as good of a roster as they could get and wanted to fill the last spot by getting a veteran who would be great for the locker room. Think about Udonis Haslem, dude hasn't been a proper player for years now, but he has been at Miami for so long just because dude is like a player-coach type of thing that helps the team. Lakers vs Nets final is looking more and more likely if everyone stays healthy, it could be one of the most watched ones in recent years.

Wonderful news for the Lakers, they added another big man so they can assure to be better this season. With the current lineup, it's not necessary to add players anymore, the health of the big 3 is more important now and these players who have not tasted a win in the NBA Finals might finally have this one this season.

The impact of LMA with the Nets is not so big compared to the impact of Deandre Jordan to the LA Lakers if he will be healthy, better than Gasol for sure as he is a beast in defense.

They will not know that you are earning much money unless voluntary kang magdedeclare ng kinita mo.

Yung mga transactions from Binance to Gcash,, not sure kung paano nila ma trace yan gayong hindi naman regulated ang Binance sa Pilipinas, but they may require Binance to register them if they have a physical office in the Philippines.
3994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SCAMMERS NEVER GET TIRED on: September 04, 2021, 08:27:14 PM
Scammers are at it again sending out bulk mails disguised to be from pancakeswap congratulating you on winning some free ethereum or other coin. The link below is attached to it disguise to be wallet connect link which will require your confirmation on your wallet to claim the free coin. https://walletsconts.com/claim_token.htm.

If you receive such mail, make sure you don't follow the link on your wallet or give any permission in order to stay safe from their scam.

scammers will never be satisfied because they will never stop doing it before they get what they get some scammers even always target new people so that everyone can be ensnared by these scammers it makes many people interested in their tricks so that their influence can attract victims who will certainly be interested and click on the fraudulent website.
Scammers never get caught because they are always searching for new ways to catch novices. However, every scamming formula can be effective for new victims. Without checking the sources, they tend to fall into this trap because they have little understanding of the community. When scammers constantly receive new targets, why they can stop their mission?
The anonymity helps them not to get caught, their fake names or project maybe ruin but they can easily create a new one and start scamming people again. Imagine, as the hype continues and people easily get fooled, they are making a lot of money with a little effort, they just use their intelligence abusing the investors who do not do the research before investing.

Usually, sinusundan lang naman nila ang BTCitcoin [with the exception of a few].

I have asked the same before and based on the members' replies, don't involve your coins.ph in gambling activities as it has a risk of getting lock or ban. Now, we are not blind to what could happen to our account if we violate the TOS of coins.ph, and they are just regulated by the BSP so they will continue to cooperate by providing the regulators the data necessary for the investigation.

4000  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: September 03, 2021, 08:59:25 PM
There's a new narrative for Caleb Plant, he somewhat "accuses" Team Canelo and re-open Alvarez being found with a ban substance in his first fight against GGG. Plant alleges that since Oscar Valdez has been found to have Phentermine in his system prior to this fight with Robson Conceicao, Roach Reynoso could have known that Oscar is taking it. Reynoso handles Canelo, so that's why Plant is now hinting that Canelo "could' have taken illegal substance as well.

You can read his rant here, in his official twitter account:

https://twitter.com/SweetHandsPlant

The fight is a done deal so why start an allegation now when Plant should be in his training camp and train as hard as he can because he has a very tall mountain to climb now, they put a lot of effort putting this fight and he accepts all deals laid out by Alvarez, then why he is starting this allegation now, is he cooking up something in case he losses to Alvarez and that is the drug issue, this will be a lame excuse for him if he loses and he is going to lose the fight.
He might be scared already and finding some excuses to distract his opponent, and yes when he losses he might use this one to protect his own reputation. We know Plant is the underdog here, so better for him to focus and just stay quiet until this match happen, Canelo will be more mad for sure and it might be more dangerous to Plant if ever. Though Alvarez should really play clean here, and of course the comity is doing their own medical requirements before this fight, there should be no more excuse for Plant.
The word afraid has no room in this business, once a fighter signs a contract, that means he is willing to take the risk of getting hurt in the fight, and in the case of Plant, I think he has the skills to fight against Canelo due to his undefeated record. He wouldn't be 21-0 for nothing (https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/684493)..

Let's just say this is only a technique to distract his opponent, but I'm sure Canelo is ready for it and have seen enough on this kind of scenario.
