3981  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Lomachenko vs. Teofimo Lopez Lightweight Unification fight - October 17 on: October 17, 2020, 10:26:57 PM
Lomachenko may have 1 loss already but he still be worth of a fighter after having 14 wins and 10 of it are by TKO.

Seriously? you count that one loss? man, that loss was not really a loss, it was a clear corrupt judgement by the judges that's why he lose, Loma could have won that game if the ref was doing his job, Loma was hit by low blow many times and no warning?
I agree, that lost doesn't matter, it was rigged from the beginning and Salido shouldn't be awarded with the win and should be disqualified because of so many low blows he thrown on Loma. And for the record as well, Loma lost only 1 fight in his boxing amateur, but he avenged that lost, and then beat the guy again, so literally Loma shouldn't have any lost in his boxing career.

Per his record https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/659771, it seemed like he hasn't fought Salido again, but I believe if they will fight again, Loma would have a complete domination and KO this guy who cheated him during the 2nd fight of his boxing career.

"Sources: Ty Lue agrees to five-year deal to coach LA Clippers"
https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/30121649/sources-ty-lue-finalizing-five-year-deal-coach-la-clippers

So Clippers fired Doc Rivers only to hire his assistant lol, makes you wonder who was behind all that, the players or Steve Ballmer.
It's a good opportunity for Ty Lue to showcase his coaching abilities and since there's plenty of talent on that roster i think he will do just fine, at least a wcf appearance.

When he take over the team from a fired coach, that's usually he got his success.  Smiley

First the cavs ; https://www.hoopsrumors.com/2016/01/cavs-fire-david-blatt.html

Now, the clippers, so can we expect the Clippers to be the NBA champion next season?

I think these odds is quite interesting, which one you'll pick in that number of odds, everything for Lopez is very attractive.

Lomachencko, and 1, is that round 1 win like kO?

I think it's possible considering how Lopez camp are disrespecting the champ here,
3985  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any truly safe bets in sports betting? on: October 15, 2020, 10:55:45 AM
To be honest, I have used that method in the past but in reality it would be a waste of time and still, there is no safest way to bet. I am a parlay enthusiast and when at that time I was frustrated because I kept getting losing streaks from high odds, then in the end I just made a parlay with odds around 1.12 or like the lowest odds in every match I put in the parlay. But what happened still, there was at least one match that made me unlucky, whereas I only bet with the lowest odds but the result still lost. With that experience I no longer look for the lowest odds for a bet, because in gambling it would be better for us to try to get the best odds, because then only luck will make us profit from gambling.
Of course there is no safe bets here, we can increase or decrease the chance but not for 100% sure with any least odds.High odds betting are still risky but people are still making money out of soort betting through deep analysis and fund management which is more important to feel successful than simply looking at the odds of the game.
Yes, betting on sports only relying on low odds basically still won't guarantee you will win easily, because there will be time for you to get bad luck.
Below are the bets made last night, look what happened. I made a mistake in only one game which is basically low odds, because the other odds are at least higher, with one game losing clearly, my parlay bet is ruined just because there is one game with low odds. I have experienced this kind of incident often and therefore I say, betting on sports will be better to get the best odds, not about the lowest or the highest because the result will be determined by the luck factor you have.

But if you will continue to do the same by relying on low odds, I really appreciate it because you have a lot of patience.

That was a parlay bet, honestly, it's hard to win a parlay bet especially if you are putting a lot of combination in the game, they called it a sucker bet as most likely our bet will just not gonna hit and it's like us giving money to the sportsbook.

this is how stake appears here and i deosited close to 0.8btc already. man get the site back to normal so i can wthdraw my cash and go to a more reasonable site

Visited Stake twice today some hours ago, and just visited it again before posting. I did not experience the problem like you experienced as shown on the screenshot. There is also no announcement on telegram channel if the site is not working as usual. There was only an announcement of resuming the 3rd party bots. There was no one complaining the same issue in this thread as well, so have no ideas what cause your problem.

I like to confirm as well that it's not a site problem, it's all good to me, I can browse games without any delay or lag, probably your internet connection or just be patient, you'll definitely withdraw your huge btc successfully.
3987  Economy / Speculation / Re: COVID-19 Vaccine Will Cause Bitcoin Crash on: October 12, 2020, 11:15:05 AM
Probably a dip, as people would probably be more confident to allocate money to businesses/companies(and away from the hedges like gold) that are halted by the pandemic, but I'm not really sure about a "crash".

I'm personally expecting a bigger dip with gold than with bitcoin though; bitcoin has been pretty much mirroring the S&P500 for a while now.
If bitcoin went down, would you invest in bitcoin or gold? I thought today the best investment when covid 19 was bitcoin and crypto trading market.  thanks.  your suggestions help me.  maybe i should keep investing in my business.
Investing in bitcoin is a good idea as I myself is a crypto enthusiast so consider my opinion bias. What I can recommend is be smart, don't put your investment in one basket, that's good invest in your business, while you can also invest in bitcoin at the same time, that's how you minimize the risk.
3988  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: October 12, 2020, 11:04:27 AM
What I don't understand is why they still allow Dragic to play, he seems to be messing around in this game.
If they give it instead the minutes with the rookie Kendrick Nunn I think that probably makes a difference, maybe he's still hurting with that foot injury.
They gave Dragic a chance to play because he was the top scorer of the team prior to the NBA Finals, so his contribution is also big for the team.
I saw how Dragic played before the injury and in game 6, there was a big difference as Dragic has been idle for awhile.

Butler also was very limited with 12 points only after an impressive performance in  game 5.
Total respect for this man but he was the key player in this playoff especially in the Finals. When seems everyone seems doubtful after the game 4, Butler was there and still rise up the morale of the Heat Nation. He showed his best as well on that Game 3 with that triple-double. Respect for Jimmy Butler!
Everyone respect Jimmy, but Lebron James is just on a different level, he proved again why he is name as King James.
3989  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs. Conor McGregor on: October 12, 2020, 09:53:42 AM

Of course and it will never be a title fight for a boxer who did not even win at least one fight in boxing, obviously this is just an exhibition fight and this is expected to be a fun fight to watch if Conor McGregor will engage by being aggressive.

The first boxing match of McGregor against Mayweather shows the weakness of McGregor that he is not a very good boxer he is more of a martial artist,  Pacquiao has been boxing for over 25 years and he is still on top of his game I don't know if McGregor will able to withstand Pacquiao assault, Manny do not like exhibition so he will take this seriously.

Forget about his weakness as even before he fought his first professional fight in boxing against Mayweather, we already know that he is not gonna do any good especially against a boxer who is soon a hall of famer, now challenging pacquiao, this isn't really about his chance to win in the fight, but his chance to make easy money.

3991  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any truly safe bets in sports betting? on: October 12, 2020, 08:24:03 AM
Low odd games are safe compared to high odds and the rewards will also be respective to the risks involving, yes low odd is some kind of safe but even you still can lose that bet too often so the net profits will be in negative if you go with this strategy.
I don't think thats the real case mate because even High or Low odds are the same in the world of gambling Not unless in Sportsbetting in which the odds are bigger is the higher the chance to win.
Just play with joy and that is enough,we pay watching Movies to enjoy and be happy so what is the difference when playing gamble?
Sports betting odds is not measure by the chances of winning mathematically, the odds are created by the bookmakers based on people's perception and that made it different from other type of games which we called a luck based type of games.

@stadus. They need more than a miracle hehe. Congratulations Lakers fans and bettors. This was also the only time in the final when I became brave and bet on the moneyline on the Heat.

I speculate @Reid was brave again and bet Lakers -12 hehehehehe.

And this is over already, 4 minutes left in the clock, LAL up 22 points.  Also, this game could go under because of the great defense of The Lakers.

Congratulations to the Lakers in advance and the bettors of course, -5.5 will cover.

heat needs a miracle to come back and win, looks like it's my night but I won't celebrate early.😁

Lakers please win by 20 points +

And at the end of the day, only his son will step on the square canvass and he can't help him out. We will see, it's less than a week from now.

Exactly, and they understand that for sure. The reason they are talking trash to their opponent is simply to sell the game, that strategy is very successful with Mayweather, talking trash to his opponent makes him earn more money, we should not fall for that but just study the fight and let our bet be in the right side.

I just want some confirmation, is the fight this coming October 17?
https://www.fightmag.com.au/2020/09/14/vasiliy-lomachenko-vs-teofimo-lopez-official-poster-released/

If so, maybe OP can add a date in the thread title so it will be a sort of reminder to us, don't wanna miss this game.
3995  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling sites accepting bets from countries where gambling is illegal. on: October 11, 2020, 11:04:57 PM
I think it's the responsibility of the gambler to read the TOS before playing in a certain casino, Country laws are being updated from time to time as well as the casino. If you feel that your country is prone to be banned, It's better to read first the TOS before registering and playing. I know using a VPN is a way for a gambler that resides in a restricted to play in a casino but forcing your way through it can give you a headache when you are requested to have verification.

If you are restricted to gamble, Just don't gamble. I'm sure there are allowed casino in your country that is not hit by you local law, Just play on that.

Exactly, that's our responsibility to read the TOS, however, that doesn't mean that everyone will follow, some gamblers knows it's illegal to gamble in the site and yet they still find a way, including hiding their IP through VPN just to play in a certain gambling site, you can't take that from them by saying read the TOS and follow as they also evaluate the gravity of penalty, if they think they can take it, they'll proceed playing even with that risk.

Odds aren't that good for me but I'm still gonna stick with Miami ML.

Odds for OT or not at 12.35 is really tempting Grin Has anyone placed a bet on that?

What site and what particular betting?

I check sportsbet now the "will there be overtime" odds is only 7.00 for yes.

~
Miami ML
May the Vegas gambling lords be upon Heat bettors in game 6 Cool
They could be but I hope they are wrong this time around.
3998  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: October 11, 2020, 09:27:00 AM
Giving my advance pick, I lose my bet on the Lakers in game 5 but I'll still root for them in game 6 to in and cover.

Early lean, Lakers -5.5, I got it doubled to win back my lose in game 5.

Yeah, it's better to be early because the game also will be earlier later.
Damn, it was just -5.5.
That's why I took it, I'll continue betting on the Lakers, just like what you did with your Miami Heat.  Grin

Good luck to your bet.

I am still going against the flow. I want a Game 7.  Grin
Also, the total score is just 214.5. Are they trying to give away money?  Grin
I will be betting for "over" here but I will separate it now. The chances of Lebron coming back strong is high.

Miami ML
Over 214.5

I like game 7 but that would cost me money, so no, no game 7.
3999  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling sites accepting bets from countries where gambling is illegal. on: October 11, 2020, 09:05:28 AM
Signing up on a site against your country says it all it's a crime against the site and if found guilty such customer don't deserve any apology or sort of refund. Bookies are everywhere why risk your money

Trust me or not, most people do it just because their country prohibits them from gambling based on the law and constitution made there and been followed for decades. They just can't gamble because they're helpless here, but if a website doesn't have their country's name, they register there and start gambling without thinking that what they're breaking is their country's law and gambling is illegal at their place.

Exactly, that's the reality, and that's how gamblers think.

Crypto casinos has actually open opportunity for gamblers who have no chance of gambling in fiat casinos because it's ban in their country, and since crypto casinos does not require KYC, they even brag they are letting you gamble anonymously, so we enjoyed gambling on their site, and we are actually not thinking of the risk anymore though we are aware.
4000  Economy / Speculation / Re: COVID-19 Vaccine Will Cause Bitcoin Crash on: October 11, 2020, 07:05:30 AM
The COVID-19 vaccine can never cause a bitcoin crash while everyone relies on vaccines to cure the virus Bitcoin can't crash.
It will certainly not affect bitcoin in a negative way, if bitcoin will crash, that's when the virus has spread and cause a pandemic that we are experiencing now.
The demand for Bitcoin is increasing day by day the impact of the virus could be much lower on the country's economy and gold market stocks as they depend on the country's economy. But Bitcoin will rise above the demand of the decentralized market bitcoin is currently in high demand due to the virus so it does not have a bad effect.
I know the demand has increase but I would not think it's on a daily basis as there's no massive adoption yet, majority of us are still using bitcoin for investment and trading purposes only. If there's a big online shopping store like amazon and it's biggest competitors will accept bitcoin, then most likely we will see that kind of increase of demand.
