I think we can all related to this gambler, with a bet of just $1.00 and turns it into $5k.

https://twitter.com/rollbitcom/status/1380596379865604097

And I agree that Rollbit.com is slowly growing and could be home of some of the biggest crypto whales of today. They are gaining trust and with news of average joe gamblers and whales getting lucky and winning big, just a matter of time that they breaking into at least the top 10 sites in the next coming months.

In the latest tournament news, another big upset Spain's Badosa ousts world No. 1 Barty at Volvo Car Open

Quote
Paula Badosa beat top-ranked Ashleigh Barty 6-4, 6-3 at the Volvo Car Open on Friday.

The Spaniard reached the tournament semifinals in her first time at the season's opening clay-court tournament. And she was rarely pressured by Barty on the way to her first victory over a No. 1 player.

It's a straight set lost for Barty here, although this could be just a minor tournament. Anyone heard of Badosa though?

Or probably Ash is not suited for clay court?

Isn't it ironic though, HSBC moved vast sums of dirty money after paying record laundering fine.

One of the biggest bank that facilitated billions of dollars of dirty money, is trying to curb out and bans purchases on Microstategy by their clients?
3984  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to invest in BNB now? on: April 09, 2021, 08:51:12 AM
For me personally, it is now very profitable for me to invest in BNB as the coin is in its early stages of development. And very little money can be invested in this coin. Since the price of the coin is not high yet. But if something suddenly happens, then the investment losses are too small. Thus, BNB coin is very profitable and safe to invest in at the moment.
for now, BNB's potential is enormous. I also probably wouldn't hesitate to choose BNB if I focused on that coin. in fact, I feel that BNB might hit a price higher than $ 500 this year. looking at the price which is still below that, I think having it right now is still very much worth it.
$500? this is achievable within this month alone, It really got the benefit when ETH has it's problem and then the token burning strategy that put the price even higher in the last couple of days.

So the potential for BNB to be even reach 4 digits in this current bull cycle is still there. We've seen what's capable of, and maybe after the end of. the year the price could experience a enormous potential growth that we didn't think is possible late 2020.

Big win by whales again,  and this user is on the all time leader boards, with millions wagered already on Rollbit.
That guy still on 1st place for Rollbit Boss as the biggest wagered until now on all time with $26million. Not surprise he can hit that with huge bet like that. I think other people can't beat him to take his place since the wager amount on 2nd rank is very far , currently only $1.8million

Actually how much min amount we must wager to able seen on high roller tab? Is it $100?

Yes, so far he has a huge gap and still growing as we speak.

And BohdiTV who recently made a name for himself in the community is very far at 4th place.
3986  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: April 09, 2021, 03:11:57 AM
If you are talking about the Bucks, being overthrown in the first or second round, it's pretty much boils down to experience. But not with the Nets though, Durant and Irving has the experience already and so is Harden. So I'm thinking it will not be very easy to win 4 games against this front line of Brooklyn.

I think it has more to do with play style.  The way Giannis relies on his physical attributes instead of his skills, he is very easy to shut down come playoff time.  Sure, nobody is going to put their body through the type of abuse that players like Shaq handed out during the regular season, but the playoffs is a different story.  Until Giannis learns to add more jumpshooting and passing to his arsenal, I don't see him ever being able to win a championship.  With the long term moves the Bucks are making to surround with what I would call less than ideal surroundings, I wouldn't be surprised if Giannis was forced to change teams to have a chance at a title.

You are absolutely correct, Giannis downside is really in the playoffs and I don't understand why the coaching staff is not yet replace when they failed 2 season already. Bucks (Giannis) are hype in the regular season, but things changes in playoffs and they have been so predictable in the past 2 seasons already. I guess Bucks has to follow the Nets, instead of maintaining one star, why not add 1 more or 2.
Been two seasons already, but so far we have seen just minor improvement from Giannis.

He was really check by teams in the playoffs, no more long strides to the basketball for easy layup or a dunk. They made a few chances this season, but it's not enough in my opinion. And now that Nets is the favorite, I'm not seeing the Bucks going to the finals this year. Giannis will be again check and there's no one to take the scoring, maybe Middleton but he is inconsistent.
3987  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Square, Fidelity, Coinbase start cryptocurrency lobbying group on: April 08, 2021, 12:56:51 PM
It's likely a net positive, but don't forget that they are not "cryptocurrency enthusiasts" - they care about themselves and would gladly support any regulation that benefits them, even if it's bad for users, like for example regulations that concern privacy. But the good thing is, they will be defending Bitcoin from getting banned, if there will ever be such a threat, and that could mean a lot.

Yeah, and that's what a lobbyist do or at least some powerful people hiring lobbyist . But the thing here is that those companies are more willing to influence that crypto is not that bad as portray by others, of course they are going to do it because in the end this groups are going to benefit in the long run, so no surprise at all and it could be very well effective, specially "legislative lobbying".
3988  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: April 08, 2021, 03:32:50 AM
Sixers and Knicks are playing very hard, but I think that Knicks has fallen short again (that's been the case in their last 3 games).

Net's too good for for the Pelicans, the lead balloon to 30 points. Impressive game from Durant and then Kyrie and surprisingly Aldridge doing the damage. It seems that LaMarcus will be the big difference for the Nets now, as he can post and still play the Center position and be dominant.
Aldridge changed when Durant was around.
It's like he is the pandemic that affected the performance of his teammates.
Combined with Kyrie, Harris, and KD as a threat on outside shots, players on the painted area will have an easy job to make a bucket.

How are we going to bet for the Nets now? The handicap will soar from -15 to -20.  Grin
You don't want to be betting for the underdogs against this strong team.

I agree, if I'm not mistaken, this week underdog was winning like 10% (correct me If I'm wrong, I'm just basing it on my bets, which I usually bet for the underdog but so far, I've lost big).

Perhaps KD is that infectious to his team, Aldridge perform very very well, his numbers for this game is high. Maybe he got his second wind because of so many great players around him or he really wanted to show the Nets that he still got it and he his worth every penny.
3989  Economy / Speculation / Re: The price of bitcoin may go bull soon on: April 08, 2021, 03:15:27 AM

What is your say on this? As for me I think bitcoin price may likely still increase soon?
Yes, as many had predicted that bitcoin will go on a 6 digit run, we are just half of it, at $50k++. There's a lot of indicators short and long term that the bull run will continue at the end of the year. Of course, we won't see a parabolic rise, we will see a lot of corrections every month and the growth spurt might slow down as we approach $70k and up.

So patience is the key for majority of holders, and if ever there is a dip, buy at your convenience and just continue to accumulate or stack sats.

Why not, you just don't know, maybe you did find the hidden gem in there.

YLD seems to be the best amongst your choice though, but in any case, it seems that you are more willing to take those risk and I'm sure you understand the consequences of it. Just an advise though, if you think you have profited already aligning to your goals then get it and move to the next coin.
3993  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't you hate it when.... on: April 07, 2021, 02:40:46 AM
Of course, I think I will say that majority of the bettors in NBA games have experienced this one. You might hate the team, but what if the next game they win and you win big?

I agree that you don't need to take it personality, that's the very definitive definition of gambling, you put money on the line without knowing the outcome, so it can go on your favor or not. This has been, I would say the trend in NBA currently, teams leading by second half, you feel assured that you are going to win and then suddenly in the last two quarters, the other team played good defense and offense, and vice-versa.
3994  Economy / Speculation / Re: Altcoins pumping like crazy - is the BTC Bullcycle ending? on: April 07, 2021, 02:23:01 AM
Hi guys,

do you have any thoughts about the topic?

I found it an Indicator in the last two Bullruns, that when Altcoins pump really heavy like right now, it can mean the Bullcylce might end soon.
You also have to check what fueled the bull run in 2017 and it's subsequent burst. Bitcoin went to 43% if I'm not mistaken during it's bull run in 2017 as well. And currently we have institution that is heavily invested on bitcoin. So it means that they are not going to sell for alts, maybe it was just retail investors who are selling and then buying alts.

What do you guys think, do you have Indicators for the end of BTC Bullcycle
As I have explain above, we are in a different bull run cycle, not the same as the previous ones.

Celtics and Sixers. What can you say about this game? I thought that this is going to be a close one.

However, Joel is playing and really unstoppable, 15 point lead, it will be very difficult for the Celtics to overcome specially how the Sixers is playing.
3997  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: April 06, 2021, 03:17:38 AM
I'm a Warrior fan still until now even though Klay isn't that healthy but its obvious right now that they aren't a playoff contender (10th in the Western Conference as of now). I still believe though that they will comeback as a whole next season and will try to reclaim what they need to reclaim but they need to be healthy all throughout the season if they really want to do it.

Definitely the Warriors still has a chance to reclaim their old glory, assuming that Klay with be back next season, Curry and Green. What positive though is that there are young talents within their roster right now that can mature or at least gain the experience so that when the 3 play again, those players can help big. Oubre, Wiseman, Wiggins, Paschall should take this opportunity and shows that they can be part of the bigger picture in the future.

^^ I echo the sentiments of @SquirrelJulietGarden, it will be better to see our name instead of the generic "Account", on the display. This has been the norm for other online gambling sites as at least will be known with your username, unless you are doing it for the purpose of security???

The possibility of the French Open which will take place at the end of May being postponed is very high, as France returns to lockdown for the third time to reduce the spread of Covid19.
If this event is held in the same month as last year, players will face cold weather conditions.
Source: https://www.eurosport.com/tennis/roland-garros/2021/french-open-2021-postponement-a-possibility-says-france-sports-minister-roxana-maracineanu_sto8204858/story.shtml
Let's hope that by the time the French Open starts, the infection has been in controlled numbers. Otherwise, it will be the same for AO, it might get a push.
Well it is good for those injured players or at least in the recovery if the tournament will be push to at least two weeks. We just don't want to see the the whole tournament will be totally scrap from the tennis calendar as this is one of the GS.
I think that if the tournament was not canceled last year, then this year, for sure, it will not be canceled. Rafa Nadal should finally overtake Federer in the number of Grand Slam titles Grin Another question is that the tournament will not be held at the end of May, since there is such talk. I do not think that anyone will refuse to participate later because of the cold weather. All top tennis players are great professionals and the cold will be the last reason worth justifying.

You sure? Because according to this article, it was rescheduled last year:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2020_French_Open

Quote
The 2020 French Open was a Grand Slam tennis tournament played on outdoor clay courts. It was held at the Stade Roland Garros in Paris, France. Originally scheduled for 24 May to 7 June, owing to the COVID-19 pandemic it was first moved to 20 September to 4 October then later moved back a week further to 27 September to 11 October.

Maybe it was just for the semantics, cancelled, postponed, reschedule.

And with the current state of the covid-19 in France, maybe we will see another push of the original schedule of May this year.
4000  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The self exclusion scheme, anyone have any experience regarding that ? on: April 06, 2021, 01:16:23 AM
What I want to talk about :
1. Is this something that really works ?
To some extent if may help gamblers in short term though.

I will only assumed that minority are taking part on it, and then later they will get back to their old habits. At least, they will be given a chance by gambling sites to stop for the meantime. And then it's up to the gamblers whether they want to stop for good.

Haven't try self-exclusions, and I doubt that we can get the right numbers here as casino's might not willing to share it.
