3981  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook Cryptocurrency on: October 02, 2019, 09:26:30 AM
Yeah,Facebook already announced their crypto called Libra. Its just announced. It is a very big project so if its on ieo it will be on more than one exchange in my opinion. I am not sure about it. But in 2020 they are coming with it.
I don't think they will have to go through IEO since they have enough money as capital for this project.
We are talking of facebook here which is a billion dollar company and they are not launching a typical coin which we can invest like ETH and BTC, its a stable coin that they are in control of it,.. and that's the thing everyone should know, stable coin is different from BTC so they will not be mislead with facebook announcement about Libra.
3982  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which betting type gives you the most payout? on: October 02, 2019, 09:12:43 AM
I always do Straight bet because I like the odds 1.90 and over,
but the odds can change from time to time especially on sports and esports betting  .will you still do straight if the opposing odds change ?

I'm sorry but I think you don't get it. Did you read the OP?

This is the definition of straight bet.  https://www.bitcoinsportsbetting.co.uk/news/most-common-types-of-sports-bets/

Quote
Straight Bet
This is the most common type of wager placed by sports bettors, especially for basketball and football matches. You make a straight bet on either the favorite or the underdog set apart by the point spread. The point spread is the set number of points by which the favorite is expected to defeat the underdog.

In order for you to win on your bet on the favorite or the stronger team, the team has to win by more than the point spread against the underdog. And for you to win on your bet on the underdog or the weaker team, the expected team to lose has to win outright or lose by less than the point spread.

Example:

GSW – Golden State Warriors (favorite) vs TOR – Toronto Raptors (underdog)

Point spread: 9.00

You win on your GSW bet if GSW wins by 10 points or above against TOR.

You win on your TOR bet if TOR loses by 8 points or below to GSW or wins outright against GSW.

I usually do the point spread betting so I'm straight betting. in the exmaple, if gsw -9 then toronto will be +9..  the odds would be 1.90 or over,,, or in some not so competitive sports book, odds will be 1.85 to 1.88...
3983  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Emotions; while betting, will you risk losing your fund to back your club? on: October 01, 2019, 09:14:38 AM
It's very difficult to answer but for me in my opinion  its a bad idea as weto have a second option because you know no one know what will happen after the game. What i mean who will win after the fight .  So much better to focus on where you are comfortable and forget your emotions.  Be smart enough when choosing a team because that's the most important .
That means you have some doubt that you might be wrong, if that's what you think better not gamble in a certain game.
Actually in sports betting, there are a lot of games to choose from, even if you are just focus in one league and has only limited games but if you are not sure, you should have the discipline to pass, that will determine that you are matured enough and you how to control your emotion.

Without discipline, you will end up experiencing a lot of loses in gambling,, that's based on my experience.
3984  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Errol Spence Jr. Vs Manny Pacquiao on: October 01, 2019, 06:59:57 AM
(.....)
Since Keith Thurman was undefeated before the fight against Manny Pacquiao. But this Errol Spence Jr. is much younger, 29 years old and on his 26 fights, all wins, and really surprising, 21 knockouts on his entire 26 win games.
Well, this fight is not impossible. Hopefully, this will work out.
We should throw away youth if Pacquiao and Spence met, Pacquiao has proven that he still has the speed and power, our analysis now should be concentrated on how good their skills are and match their skills and power, (......)
we should not disregard the age as a factor here because we are talking about 11 years of age gap. in some way, it has effect on their performance. however, training and experience will be crucial in this game!(....)
Well, if we are talking about the age then if this fight will really come and finalize then we can see a huge advantage on Manny Pacquiao especially on the odds, since when Manny Pacquiao and Keith Thurman fight, the odds already highly favor on Pacquiao since Keith Thurman is 30 years old, and now Errol Spence Jr. is 1 year younger, so we can expect more advantage to Pacquiao?
Since about the age already has proven since the fight between Keith Thurman and Pacquiao. Look at the boxing record of Keith Thurman and Errol Spence Jr., almost the same, Keith Thurman has a little bit advantage.
Keith Thurman : 29(wins) - 1(lose) - 0 (draw) - 22 KnockOuts
Errol Spence Jr : 26(wins) - 0(lose) - 0 (draw) - 21 KnockOuts

If Manny vs Spence would not be possible, I'd rather want to see Thurman vs Spence than Spence vs Garcia.
If the fight of Thurman vs Spence will happen, I think Thurman will win although I believe that he will become the underdog in the fight.
3985  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which betting type gives you the most payout? on: October 01, 2019, 06:46:47 AM
I always do Straight bet because I like the odds 1.90 and over, and I can only have that if I bet on point spread.
Parlay is somewhat attractive as it can give good payout but its too risky since there's only a little chance of winning.
Though it looks easy to some but in reality its hard to win, betting at least 2 bets to quality for parlay, if you lose one, you lose all your bet, that seems hard.
3986  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Errol Spence Jr. Vs Manny Pacquiao on: October 01, 2019, 04:46:09 AM
I've watched a few of Spence's fights and the guy's actually good. Though definitely not in the level of Pacquiao even at this point of his career. It's likely going to be a clinic with skill and experience being the deciding factor. It's always been a trend in boxing for young upcoming guys to challenge established big names like pacquiao and mayweather. And it's quite amusing to watch these grizzeld vets school these kids.
That would probably be the scenario that we are going to witness, if he struggled against Porter, how can he defeat Pacman?
Spence maybe have the power but Manny's quickness, will give him a problem in using his power, we've seen how he beat Thurman which I think Thurman is a better fighter and if I'm not mistaken, Thurman beat Porter as well.

This will be a great fight and we might see a knock down if Spence will remain aggressive.
Possible another lift of of Manny's career, beating 2 undefeated champion in row. sounds good.
3987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: your patience is being tested on: October 01, 2019, 04:18:48 AM
you never knew if the market will go up or down you wont be able to anticipate it 100% accuracy but being patience will be your key to success so being patience will bring you profits. you should know if your current investment plan is for long term or short term so you will know how long you will wait for it
Well, being patient is important if you are investing for long term, for short term, you need to have the skills so you will be able to get the success.
most of us who miss the right time to sell or haven't seen the right time to sell yet will always say hold, that is important because eventually the market will be bullish again and everything will start to rise, I mean even shit coins of course, I've seen that happened in the past so its pretty possible in the coming bull run.
3988  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New investors are too impatience on: September 30, 2019, 08:57:15 AM
Yes, new investors right now are too impatience and they can't wait for more than a months or years so that if they invest their funds they want to get it as soon as possible in which their funds did not grow too much, because we all know if we invest money in cryptocurrency we must need to wait until the price and the volume of the coins become higher so that we may get our income.
Investing in crypto does not guarantee us profit, that should be the mindset of the investors, especially the newbies.
If they think they can get their ROI in short term, then they need to carefully evaluate the IEO they are investing, and the fact that majority of the IEO now does not give short term return, it would say that it's hard to be profitable in short term investing in IEO.

It's the entire market situation is the reason why IEO struggles even its an improvement of ICO, and investors should carefully analyze and consider the right timing of investing.
3989  Economy / Economics / Re: Crimes involving crypto have risen on: September 30, 2019, 08:42:51 AM
The popularity of bitcoin is now on the top right? Those criminals are have the idea that they can use bitcoin as their payment method because they knew that it is untraceable.
They are stupid if they think it's completely untraceable, the fact that transactions are in blockchain, that means it can be trace.
It may take time if a criminal knows how to launder money but sooner or later it will be trace.
Also, consider that the government are making good effort on regulating exchanges and any financial institution that caters crypto, so I think this move will make the scams to reduce.

I hope those whose on the top that manages the reputation of bitcoin would do their best to get red of those criminals that using bitcoin for their bad doings.
The government regulating the market, I think that's just the most important thing to do, when there's a law, it will just prevent them but will not stop hem from doing crime as they are in control of their selves and their accounts.
3990  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who are are your bet for this year's boxing fight of the year on: September 30, 2019, 07:22:45 AM
Though in the other side, for sure fans of Joshua are still hoping that the old  champ will reclaim his glory and bring the belt back in his side.

Obviously, the public is still in favor of AJ to win in this match, we can always prove that by their betting odds where AJ is the heavy favorite in this fight.
This is bad if a champion will loss although its a convincing loss as people will think the underdog is just lucky enough to win, but this time, Ruiz should prove that it was not luck that made him win but his real skills which is better than AJ.
3991  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Errol Spence Jr. Vs Manny Pacquiao on: September 30, 2019, 06:58:09 AM

At least with a Pacquiao-Spence match, someone is obviously very hungry to prove something, and that is enough to make the older one among the two take it more seriously, and that would make the fight exciting.

Judging the match between Spence and Porter, it seems like Spence is capable of fighting toe to toe with Pacquiao and its gonna be a good war to watch.  Although he's speed doesnt match with Pacquiao's, but surely he can handle Pacquiao's punch as his age are causing to reduce his punching power plus he (Spence) have solid stomach that could withstand the 12 rounds and a tough chin. This match will probably end in a unanimous decision.
I love to see this match, because if Im not mistaken this is the 2nd time Spence is calling out Pacquiao after his win.
Spence will be a favorite if he will face pacman but it should not be a heavy favorite as people already saw how spence is vulnerable of losing, in fact he didn't dominate this fight. The fans would love to see these 2 fighting and they will stop pushing a Mayweather vs Pacman as that should be a boring fight.
Manny likes a toe to toe fight and I think Spence would also not back up, unless he will be hit hard and will be knock down.

But overall, I believe this fight should push through as this is gonna be a good one.
3992  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunting is past it's glory days on: September 30, 2019, 01:27:45 AM
bounty hunting is not easy and only if you are lucky enough you make a few bucks. from bounty hunting i could not earn enough to live on it.
yes, the glory days are over, but there are still bounties. nevertheless, i do it as a kind of hobby and i am glad if i really earn a few coins that have a value.
This happens due to the market bad condition, if we are in the past, for sure we will not see more complains now as although there's still a lot of scam projects in the past but there are also a lot of good projects which really pays well, and that is enough for bounty hunters to enjoy.

What we have to do now is just relax and go with the current situation, maybe let's continue to hope that the market will eventually recover.
3993  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Spence Jr vs Porter on: September 29, 2019, 06:44:05 AM
I am waiting for someone to post here on who wins between the two as of writing this post it's already round 8 there are a lot of live stream in Facebook but they are always taken down, it's a very exciting match I think it will go the distance and could be another candidate for the fight of the year, it's a pure slugfest.
I think the fight is over now and spence won the fight, and I see a lot of reaction that they called it was a robbery.
Anyway, congrats to him and I will just try to find some highlights now from youtube since I haven't watch this fight in live TV.

Porter is the aggressor one bringing the fight to Spence but Spence is the more accurate one, it's a slugfest to the finish I consider Porter the winner here, he is very aggressive and also hitting Spence a lot of punches, for me the aggressive fighter should be the winner here, as expected Porter comes out the aggressor here, it's a candidate for the fight of the year.
He was, but the judges wasn't in favor of him, this is the first fight I saw that Spence almost loss, I think Pacman has a real chance of beating him.
Anyway, the judges already scored and we cannot complain since we know that boxing is corrupt, they are protecting spence here as he has the undefeated record and he is a rising superstar, some with Mayweather when he has a lot of controversial fight that he would have loss.

One of the fight I thought boxing is corrupt. THE NIGHT FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR LOST
3994  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Philippine Basketball Association Discussion on: September 29, 2019, 06:23:42 AM
2nd game SMB -13.5, well I guess that's a decent line given how the alaska played lately.

I think this is a risky bet, we know that SMB has been dominating lately but this is PBA where we don't see a lot of big margin happening or based on its trend. Based on my observation, there are of times that great teams cannot cover the spread and even if a certain team is in lead with double digit, its not guaranteed that they will win and cover.

Just like last night, when Phoenix was already in the lead at more than 20 points but gins rally and bring the game in a single digit game, that's an example that not team can really dominate consistently.
3995  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons Crypto Players Skip Casinos with KYC on: September 28, 2019, 05:52:09 AM

some country gambling is illegal. like my country here. that's why i make a bet with crypto that many sites didn't do KYC for their rules. we can still make a bet anonimously with crypto and crypto gambling sites

That's correct, it looks like a bypass of the restriction, in our country gambling is illegal as well, if I try to access in popular fiat casino, my IP is blocked but with crypto gambling sites, I never experience any site that I visit blocking me.

Crypto gambling sites provides comfort so even if they are not regulated, many people will still patronize them as they can gamble with no problem and they are willing to lose the amount they risk if the site will scam, but I don't think the site will do it if we are gambling in a reputable site.
3996  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No trading volume is same as dead coin on: September 28, 2019, 05:28:41 AM
No, its different but I think soon it will become a dead coin, trading volume is very important as that will bring liquidity to the coin but because the market is bearish, we can expect that the volume will drop and traders will then focus to the most stable coins in the market, not saying a literal stable coins like usdt or tether.

3998  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: May Altcoin have chance to rally even if Bitcoin dominance is below 70%? on: September 21, 2019, 11:35:58 PM
With Btc dominance at 70%, it's unlikely for alts to have a rally alongside bitcoin but alts has been performing tremendously well of recent with Btc price stabilising a bit.
We know it is really for Altcoins to make a move while Bitcoin price is still at a low. But we can't disclose any possibility that it will surprise us in the future since knowing that fact that some Altcoins maintaining its momentum and keeps rallying just like we've seen on BNB. But because of Bitcoin's market dominance, it only has a thin chance for altcoins to soar high more than a thing that Bitcoin can do. Altcoins still relying on BTC performance and dictating the market trends.

However, altcoins are still in the struggles and causing some investors to become impatient and having some instances that they are selling the coins at cheap price leading into dumping more.
3999  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you trade? At the exchange? Platform? Bots? on: September 21, 2019, 11:16:17 PM

Everyone who trades through well-tuned bots saves a huge amount of time and money because the bot's reaction compensates for the human reaction.

That is the advantage of using bots in trading especially when you have a stable job and just considering a part-time in trading. But we can't just fully rely on them cause it is much better to do manual trading if we have time. Bots have their own decision base on a trading signal when to buy and sell, but not apparently it has TA's that could help to become more profitable.

I'm actually in trading( sometimes), but I'd never try using bots cause I feel safe when I did it manually besides, in doing our own strategy we are also learning and improving ourself confidence towards the market and as well as in trading.
4000  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen after cryptocurrency on: September 21, 2019, 10:55:36 PM
Cryptocurrency keeps growing and the community is welcoming this technology. Though some countries are banning crypto, they are just few than those who believe and think about the good benefits we could get from here. In fact, some big online companies are using this one which means that they are giving their support for crypto and that is a big factor that could attract more users in the near future.

I supposed to think for the betterness of crypto community rather than to think for its distraction and vanishing moment cause I don't believe that it will take into that way easily and I really don't think so unless things will get worse.
