3981  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Remember Plustoken? they are still active and massive sell-off keeps going on on: April 18, 2020, 01:36:01 PM
First of all, damn it! I thought it was a name. I read it like Ploosto-ken.  Grin Hilarious.

That article was 1 month ago man.
You made me the effort to google "plustoken news" "plustoken update" and more. Yet, I don't find any recent news about them.
All dated like February, March. No April.
We should move one with this. There are people who are already looking up to this.
3982  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to make Extra Money From Playing Blockchain Games on: April 18, 2020, 10:54:43 AM
Thanks for the information Sir.

I am hoping that I will be good at it.
Those prizes are kind of fun if you are playing it for free.
Are they also doing like side bets here?
I am actually trying it now and getting pumped up.  Grin

Edit: I didn't know there is still a token sale.
Wow, the game is running while there is a sale. That is something else.

Scientists have suggested dozens of existing compounds for testing, but WHO is focusing on what it says are the four most promising therapies: an experimental antiviral compound called remdesivir; the malaria medications chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine; a combination of two HIV drugs, lopinavir and ritonavir; and that same combination plus interferon-beta, an immune system messenger that can help cripple viruses. Some data on their use in COVID-19 patients have already emerged—the HIV combo failed in a small study in China—but WHO believes a large trial with a greater variety of patients is warranted.

But as what @harizen said, next year should be the right term here. If everything settles down, then probably they can complete the rest of this season next year and then re adjust the calendar year for the upcoming season.

It will look like there is a missing year.
But I don't think that will be a problem.
It is actually a good thing for people to remember how bad the virus is which should not happen again.

October should be the new season but from the looks of the number infected in USA then it might be the month of the continuation of this season.
They better just finish it and forget about the 2020-21.
If they can stretch it then they might make a small league just to finish that season.
Something like a round robin maybe.
3984  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to make Extra Money From Playing Blockchain Games on: April 18, 2020, 02:22:57 AM
Is this a browser type game or it needs installation?
How about computer requirements to avoid lags?

I am kind of intrigued here but there are just some points I need to make sure.
So, you also need to be good at it if you want to earn more?
Or time consuming will take you to the top even if you are not that great?
3985  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google has removed 49 cryptocurrency wallet browser extensions! Good move? on: April 17, 2020, 03:08:39 PM
I am reading here.
https://www.zdnet.com/article/exclusive-google-removes-49-chrome-extensions-caught-stealing-crypto-wallet-keys/
But I don't get it.
Don't they have some kind of filter before they could even ask to be an extension of chrome?
This are wallets and money is inside it.
They should really be careful since it will be their name on the front. Google Chrome it is. They are the face and if people are losing their funds it will be chrome who will be hit back.

This is nicely done but ain't it a little bit late to see all of this?
I am using Metamask extension. Guess I should start transferring my ETH to a new one.
3986  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 17, 2020, 01:20:54 PM
They can resume games but it wont be the same just like before where lots of crowds around and also it would be a bit hassle on checking everyone to go inside in the venue from staffs to players down to people who do tend to watch.I cant still picture out the possibility for any resume.
That's the sad reality, less crowd means less income for the organization, and less sales also.
I think they are not really making a lot with the online NBA subscription, more of the revenue are coming from sales in the venue and its items.
Correct me if I'm wrong, because if my assumption is correct, this means the revenue will reduce and most probably players salary will be affected as well.

It might be.
I don't how the financial system works when it comes to profits from watching it live than online streaming.
But I bet the live is still the winner there. VIP seats does worth a lot and I bet even sideline are expensive or just that seat behind the players.  Grin

Here is the thing though.
After all this virus thing people will be like moving in normal like we used to be.
They must have really miss doing malls and they just want to get out.
There are those who will really want to watch the game.
3987  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fastest Dice site? on: April 17, 2020, 11:15:43 AM
Even with the fastest internet you won't find one.
They are trying to control the server and that is why betting low is the slowest.
That way it won't be filled with just low bets and slow it down.

You could try the link in my signature and you might like it.
Been doing 10 sats per bet and I like how fast it is considering the low bet.

But if you go way higher than that you will see the difference.
3988  Economy / Speculation / Re: My first experience of Bitcoin halving, I'm excited. on: April 17, 2020, 07:45:48 AM
You see that the second halving date was 2016 and yet it was December of 2017 when the spike happened.

You will need to be patient and get the excitement on hold.
It might be happening this May of 2020 but the increase won't be that fast.
Adoption takes time.

What could you do while waiting?
You will need to have luck and patience.
When you see a big opportunity to buy then do it without hesitation. You already know what could happen afterwards. Better be ready with bitcoins in your wallet.
3989  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Monero get delisted, again on: April 17, 2020, 04:32:01 AM
And yet this happened.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5240661.0

It doesn't matter.
If the exchange cannot make profit out of it then they will take it out of their list.
Simple as that.
Popular or not. If there is no one buying or selling it then something must be done. It might be on the top for us or for CMC but not for everyone.

Warriors' Stephen Curry Says He Was 1st NBA Player Tested for the Coronavirus

Quote
In an essay for Time, Curry explained he received a test March 6 after he felt sick with a fever that reached 101 degrees.

"I was the first NBA player tested for COVID-19," he wrote. "Thankfully, my test came back negative. But that experience hit me, and it hit me hard."

The Warriors announced the next day Curry was diagnosed with influenza A and had "no specific risk factors for COVID-19."

Curry has since used his time and money to help those affected by the coronavirus, as he explained in his essay:

"I'm fortunate to have the job I do, and not have to worry about all the many things crippling families across the country during this pandemic: unemployment, hunger, housing. How couldn't I use all of my resources and the full power of the platform my wife and I have built to help those desperately in need during this time? We have a responsibility to one another."

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2887010-warriors-stephen-curry-says-he-was-1st-nba-player-tested-for-the-coronavirus

Glad to hear that Curry wasn't tested positive for Covid-19 back then prior to Rudy, but just as we have known by now, everyone is not really immune to it. A simple flu might turn out to be that we are infected, and then on the other side of the spectrum, it could also be asymptomatic. And it's good to hear that he and his wife are also helping as well in this pandemic.

Oh wow! That is something!
In this world now something is good rather than nothing.
Some would just rather save themselves even though others are already dying.
You will know who are those people with a heart.

Here are the results of the HORSE game.

I will just watch the replay later on.  Wink

It is a good thread it is combination of of different threads about investment in gambling . People are lookinh for that kind of thread because they are curious about the gambling investment and they can visit all the thread you provided to us. I like the thread of yatsan I already visited it and I like the information I saw because it's gives an idea about investing in gambling if it's really worth it or not.

Yeah, it is not like another stupid question thread like:
Why do you gamble?
Is gambling ruined your life?  Grin

Somehow this is more informative for us gamblers.
It gives us another option and not just pure gambling here.
Investing is still risky but somehow you could save some if it is falling down. That is, if you are scared to lose everything.
3992  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Education on: April 16, 2020, 01:11:49 PM
I have this thought after watching The Imitation Game.
It is more about cryptography and I guess the blockchain is related with that.

Hell, I don't even understand those codes. But some just do. We call them the genius.
I think there is a chance to insert it in students studies but never as directly consuming time.
Maybe used as an example and it will depend on the students if they will open their eyes into broadening their knowledge about bitcoin.
3993  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 16, 2020, 10:49:56 AM
Seriously how long will this last?

I guess the NBA will resume as soon as the vaccine is available to use worldwide. The NBA is really urging and finding ways to resume their business. I have read a headline where NBA might lose a billion dollars if this pandemic continue till the 30th. Therefore, the NBA is lossing a huge chunk of profit, thus they are making a contingency plan to run the business in an unusual ways.

Anyway, I guess everything and normal routine will resume when the vaccine is available already. All of the lock down and quarantine will be lifted as well.
It would be on general aspect since not on NBA had been majorly affected by this pandemic. We do all need the vaccine for our lives to go back in normal. This doesnt only talk about businesses but as a whole.
The association wont really have any options but to accept that they do lost up that much money and even if they do force in to continue, they are risking someones lives. They would surely
get lots of criticism instead of praise on such action.

No, I  don't think so.
Everyone is affected.
Even those critics might be having their difficult times by now.

As you said, it is business. I think a lot of businesses out there are doing worst than NBA.
Somehow they could make something happen by cutting the salary of every player.
Some business don't have that kind of option.
3994  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Halving 2020 and Altcoins on: April 16, 2020, 09:34:10 AM
A big event indeed which pushed through bitcoins popularity for the last years.

But, there is a bigger picture that is happening outside. The CoronaVirus.
There is still a chance though that those who don't know what bitcoin is or any altcoins will be seen.

Let us make myself as an example. Using internet like 14 hours in seven days and I bet a lot of us are in the same position.
Maybe now is the best out of all. We might not see bitcoin having a large amount of buyer (since people are spending everyday without income) but the fact that they will see it might be a good opportunity for the future.
3995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the first reason why fraud projects are increasingly rampant? on: April 16, 2020, 04:04:35 AM
We cannot complain about those jobs that we took.
We picked them. It is not them who picked us.
At the end, it is our choice.

If they fail to make the right amount from the offering then so be it. They will vanish.
But don't lose hope. Maybe someday you will find the right ICO that will make you some good money.
We cannot blame others from making a wrong decision.
Researching deep will only be the answer for picking the right project that you will support.
3996  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 16, 2020, 02:14:40 AM

Time flies really fast. I think it's just a few weeks ago since the NBA suspend their games. I hope in the upcoming several months, I will see a report that "VIRUS NOW TOTALLY CONTROLLED" and "NBA TO RESUME SEASON ON !@#$%^".

Hoping that will be the news tomorrow when I wake up.
Then we will all be free again.  Grin

Now, I didn't know this.
https://africa.espn.com/mma/story/_/id/29041258/shaquille-oneal-credits-nba-success-mma
Shaq doing MMA? Whoa!

Davis will just need to be a better power forward than Giannis next year so he could go to the 1st team of All NBA.
Actually he is. If this is still the 90's. It's a compliment of course.

3997  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best time to begin your gambling affiliate journey. on: April 15, 2020, 05:18:25 PM
Competitions are too high.

Just look at us here.
Before affiliates here will make you some good amount but not anymore.
Now, imagine how broad they advertise their website or gambling sites.

It is a passive income which is also in a way you should not expect some. Just my opinion though. There are better ways to make money.
3998  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is nobody talking about this major resistance? on: April 15, 2020, 03:26:39 PM
You may be waiting for nothing or not.
Who knows?
The resistance for me is now. 6.5k - 7k is where it mostly moves so yeah a bullish trend might really happen after people get their mind off the virus that had is happening.
For now that is the trend and that is why we don't see much movement anymore.

Give it 2 more months and we will see if it is a negative effect or a positive one.
Mostly says it will drop after but the halving is also near. So that may equal the fight against the price.
3999  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 15, 2020, 02:05:39 PM
It's not just all the money guys, NBA launched this website https://cares.nba.com/coronavirus/ that gives up-to-date information about the virus.

Besides Rudy G, donations, Marcus Smart donated his blood for experiments

KAT donated $100k, Al Horford with this $500k And Kevin Love $100k.

If all the donations will be totaled, that will be a big amount already, it's not enough but it's a great help to battle the situation we are facing now.
There is a reason why we idolized them because they are setting a good example that they are not greedy with their riches but willing to help in this crisis.

Those are just from NBA players now.
Haven't seen some big named businessman doing something or big company owners yet.
I think they are making an ark to save themselves.  Grin

But the good thing is there are still some who doesn't care much about their riches but more for lives of human.
Jack Ma is one.

Mark Cuban also did some help.

Oh history.
I am kind of a forgetful human being but I will try.

It was years back when I saw bitcoin in one of a pay per click website.
I do it because someone referred me and then he will do the other work for me. Which is also referring. He will put downlines as they call it.

Afterwards, it was faucets. It was really less when converted to USD back then.
I earn like 200k sats per day before with bonuses when I am in the right time. But now, they pay like 10-50 sats (maybe less) which might take you forever to get 1 bitcoin.
I never stopped there into knowing bitcoin deeper. Now here I am in this forum.
I am not much for technicality of it but having the basics is fine with me as long as I understand it.
