3981  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can i detect new growing altcoins ? on: January 12, 2022, 05:53:08 PM
Don’t view crypto as a fast cash-grab. Instead, see it as an opportunity to learn about a new asset class without putting everything on the line. Before you actually invest in smaller altcoins like Tether, Cardano, and others, start by learning about how they work.

This advise should really be taken by newbies like op who are believing cryptocurrency is a sure money for them and their families to live big, no it is not. Crypto is an opportunity for the patient type not for the hasty. If you make haste to chase some coins that are already in their ATH as you see in CMC, investing in them may be a dumping time for the whales who have pumped them so high. It is better to invest in bitcoin that it easier to follow or you invest in some unpopular coins and wait for luck.

However researching on launchpad either through binance exchange can lead you into profitable investment with time.
3982  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Gambling addiction?! on: January 12, 2022, 04:26:47 PM
There are two aspects to it.
Gambling because you need money or gambling because of habit. But these days the majority of gamblers are people who don't have means of income and they solely depend on the proceed of what luck brings to them. Your friend may fail under those who don't have job and will prefer to take a bath in the morning and go stay in gambling house and trying luck.

Very few gamblers are doing that as habit. Majority of gamblers do it because they want additional money to live and support family.
3983  Economy / Speculation / Re: [POLL] Will Bitcoin dip below $40K? on: January 12, 2022, 04:01:40 PM
It could go touch 40k again and by that time let’s really hope it holds.  The moment it doesn’t is the moment some huge holders could start to capitulate and then we’d see 30k tested.  IMHO.

It is looking like the rally couldn't stay longer around $40k and has started on the high with today's bull run it is not certain whether $40k will appear in the picture any time soon. It couldn't break the $40k support last week and has picked up a rally afterwards.  Buyers are moving in and that helping to drive more volatility.
3984  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Huge crypto scam that happened last year(2021) on: January 12, 2022, 12:35:57 PM
.

Real Scam comes from a trusted party and no one doubts his intention to defraud, and then everything disappears.

Scam mentioned first can be avoided, but the second requires intelligence and caution.

The scam involving betrayal of trust is worse of. This is the personal relationship kind of thing where trust has been built over the years either the family line, friends and close aligns This is a category of scam where that trust is broken and the other party is in lose.

Another is a kind of another real life scam or internet scam where both parties are potential suspect. This may be an expectation to benefit where you didn't invest or sow. For example the drive to gain more than expected. So if it is looking very rare to be true, you can fall into scam trap.

This next phase is scam that is popular among bounty hunting, exchanges platforms , coins and ponzi scheme. The bounty is what you can't even research on because it is not easy to identify, most of us have fallen on that trap either ignorantly or not being very careful to read between the lines.  Grin
3985  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to make $ 1,000,000 out of $ 30,000? on: January 11, 2022, 07:30:21 PM

Now I have recovered a little mentally and financially and I want to enter the world of cryptocurrencies, taking into account past mistakes. The house needs to be built. Time is running.

And now are you ready for it? Are you sure that your mental alertness is at work ? That you are not going to dump with panic when there is serious shake up in the market because I remember this time was between late 2019 and some time in march 2020. You may choose to invest small or diversify to cheaper coins so you don't feel the heat much.

3986  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance CEO Zhao Is Worth $96B Excluding Crypto Holdings on: January 11, 2022, 06:16:24 PM
Changpeng Zhao has done well for himself. Quite young at 44. He has more youthful age to lead binance. I don't think his wealth should be a problem because the laws will take care of that. China should have the way to tax there entrepreneurs on there earnings based on the tax laws operational and the binance CEO won't be any different.
3987  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Deep before the Raise on: January 11, 2022, 02:41:13 PM
It is surely a normal occurrence with bitcoin to drop after sometime and to rise likewise and that is why some prefer to hodl more in bitcoin because from the history of bitcoin, it comes back after dip. This is equally being expected this time after the drop from the ATH last year. Nobody knows when this will happen but like the days will go by, bitcoin accumulation and news are usually a force behind it price.
3988  Other / Archival / Re: Helping Potential Legendary, Hero, Senior and Full Members on: January 11, 2022, 01:56:47 PM
Hi I'm at 229 merits and applying on this thread as potential senior member. Here is my bitcointalk profile link
SatoPrincess. Thank you Ratimov and all the merit sources supporting this cause.

Although you are qualified to apply to be helped to next level position based on your merit but instead of being in a haste on that you can focus on your work and naturally your merit will run into that instead of applying for it. It looks hasty with your activities, you are barely 4 months, what is the need for the haste when you won't have corresponding activities for senior member.

You will always get there bro.
3989  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Teaching your kids to gamble. on: January 11, 2022, 01:03:12 PM

for Sports betting - You indirectly teach your kids to gamble when you leave open your online betting slips, and drop carelessly within the reach of the underaged your offline slip if you didn't bet online. Kids are very inquisitive and take cue from their parents and guardians easily.

Whether sports betting or visit to casino or whatever ways including forgetting to cover your tracks from kids, the question is can you really keep those things or anything away from kids ? And the answer is no. Every betting company has it website online.

The changes that have occurred in our world is our number culprit. The internet has been exploded that it is has become a place of rest and relaxation for kids.

I mean there is nothing the kids can't find on the internet with the high tech phones available to them, you don't try to prevent them from using it because they would use that of their friends or be thought "wrongly" by their friends.

The best therefore is to properly educate the kids so they are well informed and guided and not to hide things off from them.
3990  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pros and Cons of Gambling on: January 11, 2022, 12:12:06 PM
Everyone here plays gambling.

First is this impression. Not everyone here plays gambling. Or currently play gambling.
They might have played in the past and now have the experience or they just aware of it because of their environment while some are addict.

Some win a lot of money, others lose their life saving and most of us are in no profit no loss situation. We win some and lose some and keep on enjoying the game.
Gambling does have some advantages but also it has its disadvantages. It will be better if the pros and cons of gambling be discussed extensively so people especially the newcomers know what they can expect from gambling.

You have listed some of the pros and cons in gambling already as losses and profit are part of it. What is more is that both the negative and positive both have effect on the player. If the gambler is consistently losing and his life savings is gone, it can lead him or her into depression and depression can lead into other forms of habit that will further worsen the already bad situation, excessive taking of alcohol can be developed , smoking hard drugs also and other illicit dealings of frustrated personality. Also with profiting in gambling, the joy of additional money depending on how much is involved could lead you on euphoria of uncontrollable action that may cause accident especially if you are driving. It is better to do things in moderation.
3991  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: IS it possible to let your BTC work for you ? on: January 10, 2022, 10:39:22 PM
Well if there are platforms that bitcoin or some part of it can be staked to gain more bitcoin or Satoshi, I'm sure many more people will be interested with that. I'm not aware of such for the moment and would be interested but as to staking some altcoins, that is very much available.
3992  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is for everyone but not everyone will be for Bitcoin on: January 10, 2022, 03:35:10 PM
Acquiring asset isn't easy especially for someone still struggling with finance but at same time life does not make things easy also so the need to keep struggling becomes a constant phenomenon. Very many can not buy 1 btc because of the price but buying little of it is part of effort we should make and not to complain of lack of cash. Bitcoin is a longtime investment because it value will keep increase with time. Therefore keeping hands fold not to struggle to invest is not the best thing to do. Buy small, hodl for future.
3993  Other / Beginners & Help / Make your plans and follow it, the year has started running already on: January 10, 2022, 12:50:40 PM
Today is the 10th day of January of the much awaited 2022, haha. It has started running already.

I may be correct to say some people made resolutions to stop certain things they have been doing in the past like some habits that they have tried hard to change while some have made plans to do new things or do things they have done in the past a little bit different now, that is to do things in a new way.

Alright my concern really is on the financial aspect. There are people who are waiting for this year to show face because they had resolved to start investing in cryptocurrency or to increase the level of their investment. This is to remind us about those determination that burnt in your heart during the tail on of last year, you couldn't wait for this year to appear and fortunately for you and all of us, the year is gloriously in our faces. So what are you doing already ?

Advise: Don't go on with the procrastination of last year and the years that have past. The time is now. It is time to work for that goal you resolved to achieve, those coins you wanted to buy and the ones you want to DYOR.

Don't sweep those plans of yours under the carpet. Get fired up to achieve this year. I wish all the best out of this year
3994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will cryptos go into Bull season? on: January 09, 2022, 10:37:25 PM
the altcoin you are taking about, doesn't sounds like belongs to top altcoins. It is one of basic rules that, if a altcoin gained huge price then Correction would be happened. moreover nobody can't predict about when bullish market will start but i get inspiration when i see people are quiet optimistic about bullish market. And eth already facing fee issue & sol, bnb, matic are trying hard to overtake eth. during this situation, how could you think eth can surpass btc!

A huge price means the price is overvalued, so correction is necessary. Every time there's a bull run, it will always result in a overvalue of price because as we can see on some of the altcoins, they rise 50x or even 100x in just a short span of time, so we can always tell they are overvalued at the moment, hence in order to balance everything, a correction is necessary.

This is same for bitcoin too not just altcoins nor Ethereum. Every coin suffer from overvalue on a particular time. For bitcoin, anytime it gets to a ATH, this means at the point it has been over bought level which is same aa overvalued and it is expected to start a correction and this starts happening because hodlers will start to go for sell.
3995  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Binance Received Regulatory Approval From Canada and Bahrain on: January 09, 2022, 06:58:46 PM
Very interesting how countries are giving a nod to bitcoin in every part of the world, I don't know if they are giving it willingly or it's just that they don't have any other option than to do this.

I don't think it is free will rather it is a natural need that necessitated it. The world is changing and financial vicissitudes are over bothering the existing traditional financial system. I don't know how Satoshi was convinced this will work and this obviously is leading the world into another phase of financial comfort for even bank workers, poor and the rich alike. Moreover the traditional financial system or economy is a little bit stress free with the introduction of digital currency and other means of financial services or payment system , PayPal, ATMs , mobile transactions etc. So it is not a willful act by countries but the chase to meet up with the ever changing world is the driving force that is the cause. More countries might adopt the crypto space or make a partial adoption this year by creating or giving free hand and licenses to more exchanges.

3997  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Excessive hold time on: January 08, 2022, 01:27:33 PM
That's it! If your account is frozen because of an active investigation then things really get complicated and it depends a lot on where you're situated, ranging from nothing to do to an application in court against the account freezing order issued on your ban account.

I think in the case of investigation on his account, Op may not be able to do anything about that in application to court. The bank has a right to investigate flagged bank account and the court may be aware or provision would be made for the court to be aware because it is a legal process in the first place either the bank abinitio may have obtained fiat or permit to investigate the account. I think Op case may be that of delayed issue from either through cheque verification or related issue.
3998  Economy / Economics / Re: Euro zone inflation hit a new record high of 5% in December on: January 08, 2022, 11:42:17 AM
Well I don't know how inflation can be reduced in these days that the world is consistently withnessing high degree of instability resulting to printing of fiat and effect being high cost of living. The Euro zone is no different from what is happening all over the world. The world is experiencing a change occasioned by constant threat of war and building of warfare equipment, budgets are channelled into security gadgets from the threats of country to country and terrorism, bandits, etc and high level insecurity. Money made for capital projects and development that will increase returns and GDP are used to service insecurity. So inflation will most likely unfortunately stay up.
3999  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Excessive hold time on: January 06, 2022, 08:15:12 PM
I understand they want to hold the money until it clears the bank, but then 21 days of no access to your money after it clears seems criminal and apparently it is according the the bank. I'd like to hold and use someone's money for 3 weeks too, I guess thats why it is illegal.

Haha maybe the maturity date has not expire, if it elapse your money should be released to you and you won't have a need to file against anybody  Grin

There is the fixed deposit account. This account holds your money for specific time that you agree and signed with the bank and they don't issue the money out until the time elasped.

Banks have policy that they hold between themselves and for customers. It is like a role for the way to be guided in the business of serving their customers, so as a role they will follow what they have in the books as rules and regulations.
4000  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't bet more than you can afford to lose. on: January 06, 2022, 07:25:30 PM
Gambling is always comes with a high risk, because it is possible to never earn money or may lose money too. So if ever I have earn $2000 dollars a month, I will set aside my money first by saving it to cover all the daily needs of my famiy and emergency expenses. Then maybe I will bet 10% or 20% of my remaining money for gambling.

It is easier to say like that than doing it. Most people who have won big cash out or have been winning in gambling end up putting back huge part or all of the money into the bet with the hope for bigger win but luck go out of them and they lose. So it is not easy especially if it is an addict except you are a one time player that just played for fun by that way you may succeed not to play more.
