41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is bitcoin x200 rarer than gold? on: October 18, 2018, 11:10:18 PM
gold although its hard to mind but its not that finite, so its supply is ever growing, and only rich people can mine it so distribution of ppwer to hold it is limited only to few, unlike bitcoin its limited only and 21m can be mined.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ico and sec regulations on: October 18, 2018, 03:07:45 PM
So how the ico sales and buying will look like after sec will regulate the ico.

What will be changed for investor if the new system will be  for the ico-s ?

first of all that regulation your talking about is only in the united states and long before that icos are being launched out USA before and they are succesful, so wether sec regulates it in USA or not that doesnt mattet at all, or it could boost the success of many new icos,
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: will tether collapse? on: October 18, 2018, 04:08:38 AM
It's just a normal FUD tether won't collapse,  it's just a normal manipulation of the market by whales,  as you can see it has an effect on bitcoin going up,  tether won't collapse it will still be strong

i think its not a fud its a fact! among the stable coins ount there and to name are $DAI, $PAX, $GUSD, $TUSD, $USDC and TEHTER which would you like to choose? only tether has no audited backing among them..

i would reject tether and choose the first  five of the stablecoin list, and diversify my portfolio among the five which has the backing of dollar audited, unlike tether, though im not a fan of coin pegged to dollar but that 5 list is legit for me
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China can destroy bitcoin on: October 18, 2018, 12:06:43 AM
so they are spent billions of dollar manufacturing and  building bitcoin farm on a large scale to destroy the bitcoin and to lose peoples trust all over the world on bitcoin and the people then transfer their trust to other crypto like litecoin etc? where is the logic behind these? and then after btc destroyed china then will spend another billions of dollar to destroy the next crypto that people put trust on and so on and so on. LOL! stop this non sense! if btc destroyed we still have thounsands of crypto out there. what the heck!
i bet chinese wont do that thwy love crypto, theyr not building something just to destroy when they spend billions on it, this is just a fud!
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡ [BOUNTY] [ICO ESCROWED] ⚡ TriForce Tokens Gaming ⚡ 🚀 Industry Partnerships 🚀 on: October 17, 2018, 02:17:13 PM
A year has passed since the start of the bounty of the company! When will we get the earned coins?  Huh
I'd also like to echo the previous question, it was a long time since Sylon's 1st campaign and your 2nd finished, can we hear the clarity?
distribution is on mid november after iCO
46  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's going on?? on: October 17, 2018, 12:53:27 PM
I think the price of Bitcoin will still rise, but I can't give you the exact time. I think the bitcoin is waiting for the approval of the ETF!
for now base on TA its bearish and shorters will take advantage of it for sure, unless we break the asymetrical triangle in btc/usd pair not in usdt, but base on FA on the good news the we hear day2day woth investors entering crypto its really bulloah man though i dont rely much on FA as its much more probable in TA
47  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's going on?? on: October 17, 2018, 05:03:25 AM
Hi guys,
I started again recently to get interested in Bitcoin and I just wanted to know if somebody could tell me what I missed with what's important about the Bitcoin this summer. Is it still a good idea to invest in Bitcoin? Do you think it's going to go up by the end of the year?  Huh
Thank you!!
base on my opinion yes there is a great chance it will go up by the end of the year considering the fact theres a lot of institutional investors jumping in the past few weeks, but there is a low possibility of going down, so you really have to do some research on your own and analize the market.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: will tether collapse? on: October 16, 2018, 10:37:01 PM
my worry stems more from the fact that they keep losing banks. WTF are they gonna do when they've got billions of dollars in USD and EUR that they can't pay to their customers? also, if banks are feeling pressured not to work with them, you have to ask why and whether regulators are waiting to pounce on them.

What bank would want them? They're unregulated and largely a mystery. I find it incredibly arrogant on their part that they'd expect any bank to want to business with them. They're an instant red flag.

Obviously they've been doing it for years now. There's thousands of banks out there; apparently some of them are less risk averse than you. Wink

I find it really weird how willing so many exchanges have been to embrace it. There's something about the entire set up that doesn't compute for me and never has.

Binance became the biggest exchange in the world without any fiat money processing at all. There's definitely some appeal in offloading USD custody on someone else. If Bitfinex goes up in smoke tomorrow, it's not Binance that'll lose, but Binance's USDT depositors.
I really do feel you in that last part which is actually one of the obvious reasons people should be very careful with the USDT market as it is now. A lot of shady things which I believe, is going on with this one and like you said, only the USDT holders or depositors will really be the ones losing a whole lot and this would possibly affect the market actually one way or the other if we get to see USDT implode and probably cause another fundamental rush selling to the downside. Let's just hope it does not get to come up to that eventually as that would really be terrible for a whole lot of people.
i urge all of you guys to avoid tether because it will collapse sonner or later, if you really want to use stable coins there is a lot out there that are much bettet than tether across all exchanges and to name them are $DAI, $PAX, $GUSD, $TUSD, these are stable coins pegged to a dollar that is better than tether, choose among them whichever is available on your prefered exchange...

no wonder to that novogratz is always been positive and bullish on this technology, and i admire him for that considering the fact that there are now big institution jumping into crypto, and the ongoing upgrade of bitcoin scalability, we will be caught surprise soon regarding on development such as lightning network etc.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: will tether collapse? on: October 16, 2018, 10:38:48 AM
Some famous youtuber said, it will probably not collapse, even if there is no real dollar behind. And seems logical, it is a very popular coin. But personally would not buy it anyways, if I want to hodl in some stable coin, I pick Bitcoin.
those famous youtuber said that probably are holding tether, even in every angle you analize there is no future on coins that can be created anytime by someone without credible evidence and transparency of audit, its inflationary and will just ruin the whole cryptoverse, no hope for tether, trust havr been lost.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: will tether collapse? on: October 15, 2018, 11:08:58 PM
Today we all saw a strange situation, as the usd fell to the level of 0.94 dollar, as it can be called after that stable coin?
not anymore it is now unstable coin, unless tether and bifinex can show solid proof that they really have the backing of the current usdt circulation supply now which is $2 billion dollar tether will never go back to normal, its the trust of the community not the money that they lost,
52  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy low, sell high on: October 15, 2018, 09:57:54 AM
Buy low sell high has been reason why the market move around and I think we should follow that principle in trading if we want to succeed.

yeah simple it is but very hard to follow that is why 90% of trader fail according to survey, why because there is no exact low and exact highs in the market if you bought at a certain price then the whale will lower the price so then your low bicomes high to them hahah
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin blockchain Or Bitcoin price, which makes it the top cryptocurrency? on: October 15, 2018, 04:45:11 AM
There is something I'm thinking though I don't know if it's right or wrong, that Bitcoin is the prime currency here, not necessarily because of its price but because of its blockchain project and being the first in the system so I'm thinking even if other cryptocurrencies price ever get higher than Bitcoin, will Bitcoin still be seen as the prime cryptocurrency? Or is the whole thing around the Bitcoin centered around its current price in the market?
bitcoin have performed and have shown us that it is the prime the center of exchange between cryptocurrencies until now, there is no doubt about it and no one can argue, just by looking at its market capitalization you would see, and the lightning network will boost it more in the near future.
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Acceptance. on: October 14, 2018, 11:51:40 PM
in this tug of war battle for acceptance bitcoin have won even in the government side theres a lot there that holds bitcoin, regulation in just a front for formality but the acceptance is there its just to undergo process, the reason of bitcoins slow adoption is that majority of the ordinary people out there dont know what is bitcoin and blockchain, each of us must educate the people sorrounds us starting with our friends and relatives.
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin market doesn't fall, is it growing steadily!? (thoughts and analysis) on: October 14, 2018, 02:17:44 PM
definitely growing, we just cant see it in the market because there is this we called OTC were institutional investors like yale, mit, harvard, and many more are buying bitcoin over the counter not in the exchanges so that the price wont fluctuate, price volatility is cruicial specially this coming novenber 5 when the btc etf will be approve by the sec
56  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy low, sell high on: October 14, 2018, 11:10:25 AM
an age old strategy and very simple yet most of the trader even i messed with this and doing the other way around, i just realize how hard to earn in trading is because what you think of price doesnt work the way it is, reason why 90% of traders fail
57  Economy / Speculation / Re: How do you honestly feel about the recent bitcoin drop? on: October 14, 2018, 08:47:32 AM
I have neutral feelings, I do not consider this drop too big deal. 10% price change in one day is OK, 20+% is more scary, for me at least, I have seen a lot.
yup the sudden change in price in one day is normal to the emerging markets that most begginers dont know about even experts, take a look at amazon, google etc. when they were emerging back then their price would fluctuate 90% in just one day if you look at their market history, 5 years from now i think the bitcoin volatility will end and it somehow settle its price at certain point.
58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US or China: Who do you think will legalize bitcoin first? on: October 14, 2018, 07:54:15 AM
none of the them will, if they got left behind they will just create their own form of digital assers and market it to the public, we expect that them to legalize it they are the top predator in the financial system, but they can never defeat bitcoin though
59  Economy / Economics / Re: Who controls the market? on: October 14, 2018, 07:49:08 AM
I've been in this market for three years and i think there are big bitcoin investors and mybe they are almost  one hundred people and they control all market and when they want to price up they can take price up , for example  bitcoin price does not fall below 6000 dollars and when it could be posible  , someone start to buy bitcoin and the price is going up , it shows us some big investors  control this market .
definitely true, all forms of market can be manipulated wether a stock or a crypto or whatsoever, theres just some that are rich enough to hold huge amount of assets that can move prices, like the survey said 90% among bitcoin holders only hold less than 1 bitcoin, tge 90% are the elites, but this number doesnt mean we cant take profit, knowledge will make profit in the market.
60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India closes doors for Crypto Currency on: October 14, 2018, 06:04:16 AM
We used to think of India as the world's largest democracy, maybe we should think of it as the world's largest fascist country. They had demonetized the largest bills last year, and now that the banks have a much tighter grip on everybody's money, the central bank wants to close one of last remaining way to get your money out of the government's hands and eyes. This is India, this is fascism.

Hopefully, this is only temporary. Looking further down the road, governments can change, too.

probably its tempory, and any country that bans crypto are temporary banning is just the farthest they can go after theyd realize that banning was a big mistake, coz they cant stop what coming which is the revolution of worlds monetary system , i guess india has  a lot of corrupt politics thats why they hate blockchain.
