When will FOOT be reactivated for trading on Cryptopia again?

I have got some EQT on Cryptopia. What should I do with them looking at the swap?

We need an ICO for this!

Can you share with us how many of each token you hold, and why? That Numeraire looks like an interesting project. Do you hold any ICO tokens?
I do not talk about the amount of the coins I hold, sorry But I hold the same amount of BTC of every coin and it sums up to 70% of my crypto-fund (30% is BTC).

Thanks for your answers so far!
Concerning EMC2: I only added this one because I think it will raise hard in Q3, I will drop this one right after.
The rest of my portfolio is meant to be hold on long term.
I think of adding MGO, SC/SIA and SHIFT - or perhaps some other suggestions you guys make.
Actually I don't think that its that hard to keep track of 10-15 coins at once when you set up the right channels to follow them (Slack, Twitter, Reddit, ...)

Hi guys! I am about to divide 70% of my BTC (30% I will keep as BTC in order to do some short term trading) into different altcoins. So I checked some threads here, had a look at those coins and their plans for the future. I came up with the following coins: ANS (NEO) CVC EMC2 GNT LSK NMR OMG STRAT VIA WAVES XVG I have 3-4 spots left in my portfolio. Which coins would you recommend me to add? I have to say that I have no interest in ETH/ETC, XRP or BCC - so those are not part of my deal. Looking forward to hear from you!

It think its pretty easy to say what happends here:
Since most of the people cannot get their BCC to the markets in order to dump them, the pumpers have only little resistance getting the price higher and higher.
As soon as the majority can sell, BCC will fall back significantly.

This is what is happening right now because of BTC/BCC FUD:
1. The rich already have enough supply of BTC. The rich also have initiated the dump of altcoins and is pumping BTC to make the herd think that the herd will "profit" from the BTC/BCC split. Herd thinks - Hey, who doesn't want to have another clone coin that may rise in value? Logical isn't it? 2. The herd follows by dumping their positions in altcoins to join the BTC/BCC split bandwagon. The rich are picking up the dumped altcoins as we speak. The herd already took a loss in the alt coin conversion to BTC. 3. Come August 1, the price of legacy BTC will split with the price of BCC. This is what happens if there is a stock split, whatever the value of the stock is, it goes down relative to the split or stock dividend. Probably BTC=1900-2300, BCC = 400-800. 4. Both BTC and BCC will be dumped by the rich again and will again pump the altcoins. The herd panics and sells both their BTC and BCC, again at a loss, then goes into altcoins. The rich will pick it up again BTC & BCC or support only one to confuse the market. 5. Once the altcoins have gone up, rich dumps again, the herd panics and sells again. Off to another cycle. Herd will lose 50-80% of their holdings from step 1. Rich gain 200% or more. Nearly a 100% match on my thoughts. Preparing to buy altcoins right after the August 1st

Bcc panic setting in. Bcc is a total joke but of coarse everyone gets scared!
This is the most stupid panic of all time. I mean they just need to hold their BTC or even buy more of them in order to get BCC. But selling them is actually the worst thing you can do right now.

What the hell is going on with the BTC again? Just dipped below 2600 ...?

This time it's not about the long time value. It's about the BIP-91 / SwgWit euphoria

Hi everyone, I just noticed that many coins on Bittrex have the following message within the Wallet-section: The following coins are affected: AMP ARGS BCY COVAL DTB FLDC GEMZ MAID MTL OMNI PDC SCOT SEC TRIG XCP XTC Do you think that those coins in particular will rise once BIP-91 is settled?

Hi everyone!
I would like to hear your opinion on three scenarios. I am not sure which one would be the best.
Let's say that you are trading altcoin X and you think that it will rise significantly within a short period of time. You put 1,0 BTC on the trade (example).
Now the altcoin X rises as predicted to an BTC amount of 1,5 (+50%).
Which profit taking strategy would you prefer?
1) Convert everything into BTC
- Now you have 1,5 BTC instead of 1,0 BTC - You can use 0,5 BTC more for future trades in order to make more profits - You have 0,5 BTC more - it is way more reliable than other crypto currencys out there at the moment
2) Take out your initial investment, keep free coins
- Now you have 1,0 BTC and an amount of 0,5 BTC of altcoin X - You can start trading with 1,0 BTC again - Instead of more BTC you have an amount of altcoin X - but those free coins have the potential to rise even more (especially looking at the possibilities of crypto currencies)
3) Convert some profits into BTC and keep some free coins (e.g. 50:50 of the 50% profit)
- Now you have 1,25 BTC instead of 1,0 BTC - You can use 0,25 BTC more for future trades - You have an amount of 0,25 BTC of altcoin X (which can rise etc.)
So ... which one would you choose?

Hi everyone,
I have a question concerning the current high value of a BTC. I talk a lot with friends who don't know much about BTC and try to convince them to buy some too.
When I tell them about it, the same question which always comes up is:
"But since it is so expensive (2000-3000$), how can I afford 1 BTC?"
I always tell them that it is possible to buy 0.5 BTC or even 0.001 BTC. But I think this is a major problem which gets worse with the price rising even higher.
So here is my question:
Are there any plans on changing BTC to make it "look more affordable"? Perhaps introduce something like mBTC (worth 0.001 BTC / 1 BTC = 1000 mBTC) so that people have a better feeling buying something, which is not a number behind a zero (e.g. 0.025).
I don't want it to become something like a "discount looking currency". But it's a psychological problem, that people don't like to buy only a part of something or (as in this case) often don't know that they can buy less than 1 BTC.
To say "Well, the people who don't know better shouldn't buy anyway" seems to be the wrong approach on the way to mass adaption.
