I agree, there is nothing smart about smart about it. Its something you should do for fun with full expectation of losing your money. If you happen to earn a good amount set some aside and don't be an idiot.

Exactly if you have a lot of money that you won't spend for a long time you invest it, you only need a relatively small amount of savings for specific things. Savings don't earn you much (a little bit of interest is all).

Honestly its always a good time to buy if you are looking at the long term. I mean imagine what people will be saying in 3 years like oh I wish I bought bitcoin 3 years ago when it was only 2-3k.

Its got a nice community for sure, but it doesn't innovate anything in the cryptocurrency space. This is the reason why it has crazier volatility than most coins and why its driven 95% by speculators. The long term price of dogecoin will be much smaller than now but it will have a long future within certain niches.

The problem with bigger block sizes is that it increases centralization as it makes it harder for ordinary people to have their own full nodes. Additionally there is no limit to the requirements the network will need on block sizes because as you increase them and transactions increase you will keep needing to increase them and there is a limit to how far you can go.

A long term solution would be based on offchain transactions and other things to reduce the clutter that is why people propose segwit and lightning network. Personally I think we are at the point where 2 mb hardfork is a necessary compromise since certain people dont want to signal segwit (even though it almost doubles the block size all by itself), but segwit is a must because we cant keep increasing block sizes indefinitely.

Aragon is the best in 2017 cause they are taking the whole crypto decentralized idea to the next level, within the companies and jurisdictions themselves. It has the potential to eliminate borders and bring efficiency to companies who waste billions on all sorts of useless services that could be mostly automated like accounting and legal.

The best altcoins to invest in are definitely those like Aragon that will revolutionize the world, and they will bring huge rewards to those who see the vision early on.

By that logic every billionaire should have already been killed. In reality rich people are well protected, and he could easily reveal himself and do a lot of things with that money both for personal pleasure and for his legacy. But in reality as soon as he reveals himself there would be a panic but he would probably promise not to release his coins so the price would stabilize again.

That's too soon in my opinion, but I think within 6 months for sure. I also think there will be a major correction at 5k$ before returning back to normal increases over time, btc has just gone up too fast to be organic growth.

We are still early users of bitcoin and when its eventually used by almost everyone people will be wishing they were in early like we are. That's why everyone holds, we know the potential and we see the future that awaits us. You don't even need a lot when the value is going to eventually go up another 100x.

Yeah XRP is not one which I think will go back up, at least not longterm, its not even a real crypto and I think the majority buying it are just speculating based on hot air. I think bitcoin and ethereum are the coins of the future that will soar to new heights despite some normal corrections we are seeing.

When steem pumped a lot in the early days it was really profitable but now unless you are extremely popular u wont make much from it in my opinion.

Its hitting mass adoption, everyone is talking about it and when you've told people before about bitcoin its only natural that everyone asks. Right now its so popular every asks me how to buy, how much I have made etc.

XRP is going to dump more, people are starting to realize its a useless crypto, I think we will soon see it back around 5-6k. Maybe in a couple of weeks.

We all work hard and that's what life is all about, dreaming for a future we can be happy with. Unfortunately money is a big requirement for that and even with hard work it can be difficult sometimes. But we are smart enough to know that bitcoin is our best hope at achieving our dreams of being rich and having a good life.

People have suggested that altcoins will soar when btc dumps, except that's not really the case, their fates are actually tied together because people buy alts primarily with btc. When btc soars fast its true alts dump, but the inverse isn't normally true. When btc goes up slowly alts tend to go up too even in relation to btc.

I'm not worried though because it rose way too fast both btc and alts, its a healthy correction and just wait a few days for the dust to settle.

British spies are some of the best in the world, just because China claims they have gotten rid of all spies doesn't mean they have. I mean the US has caught several Chinese spies but lets not kid ourselves that there aren't still Chinese spies in the US.
