I think with that amount your best bet would be to crowdinvest in a casino built by someone else. This way you can gain from the house edge but don't have to operate a casino yourself, which typically needs an investment of at least 6 figures.

I think that XVG Could will reach $1 soon Smiley

lol lets break 100 first and stay there for 3 mo

At the current pace 100 could come really soon.
And last time it was above 100 sats it was very stable over 100.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [ SHIFT ] Price Speculation on: August 18, 2017, 05:25:53 PM
Shift has already broken 2$, this is going very steep.
90% up for the day so far Smiley
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XVG] Verge - Speculation & Discussion on: August 16, 2017, 06:16:29 AM
All Alt currencies have been plummeting since June/July. Any ideas why?
Until mid July everything went down because of fearing a Bitcoin split in August. Since August 1st Bitcoin skyrockets, so people need to liquidate alts to buy Bitcoin, which makes alts drop.
I think the best for an alternative recovery would be Bitcoin going sideways or slightly correcting like yesterday.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [CURRYPTO Public Issue #3] Viacoin: all aboard the pump train! on: August 08, 2017, 06:32:08 PM
It seems like you are posting a bit too often about Viacoin if you are completely uninterested in buying some.
Could it be that you missed the cheap prices and want to create some FUD to dump the coin and buy in cheap?

46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XVG] Verge - Speculation & Discussion on: August 05, 2017, 12:44:20 PM
It is normal if so few wallets have nearly all coins?
I think this is normal because each exchange has one wallet with the coins people leave on them.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SHIFT a sleeping giant !! on: July 30, 2017, 04:43:34 AM
At least shift is coming from a 30M market cap just five weeks ago, which is about 4x the current market cap.
So it transformed from a child of a giant to a baby giant, don't know if that can be reversed soon. But I also don't know why it was dumped harder than most other alts.

Getting 96% rebate on the pre-ICO sounds too good to be true.
Normally early investors get some discount because they have a higher risk.
Does that mean that the risk here is very high or why is the rebate so huge?

Dear counterplay,

The risks in getting NIMFA tokens on pre-ICO and ICO neither less nor more than in any other project.
If it's too good to be true just pass by our pre-ICO with 0,0008 ETH per 1 NIMFA price and wait till the ICO in August, 29-31, with the price at 0,02 ETH per 1 NIMFA.
There's no catch here. It's just our team's decision to make pre-ICO attractive.

Max, Founder & CEO at Nimfamoney

This doesn't make much sense, why should I buy at the normal ICO for a price which is 25 times the pre-ICO price?
I think the high discount may be good for the pre-ICO but is really bad for the motivation to buy this coin during the ICO.

50  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can u turn 25$ to 5000$ in 6 months trading cryptos? on: July 23, 2017, 04:17:41 AM
It might be possible but is not very probable since you are not skilled in trading yet and 200x is a lot.
I think you should take your 25$ and try to learn trading the next months.
Don"t be too results oriented during that period.
Check possibilities to get coins for free with signature campaigns or air drops etc.
Maybe you can save a bit more money meanwhile because when having the skills to 200x the money it would be too bad to start with just 25 bucks.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Investing 10000€ in crypto on: July 18, 2017, 03:30:14 PM
I would invest 50% in large caps (>100m), 30% in mid caps (25-100m) and 20% in small caps (<25m).
This way you have some of the big players and some high potentials in your portfolio for a good risk vs. reward mix.
Choose for each section 2-3 coins which YOU like best (not someone else told you to buy).
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XVG] Verge - Speculation & Discussion on: July 09, 2017, 08:07:51 AM

I know this is a Verge thread and will probably get biased views, but what does verge do that monero/dash/pvix/etc can't do? When I read through the various reddit forums, I see that verge is frowned upon and the more popular cryptos do anonymity/privacy aspects better. Maybe no one truly understands the tech between the various coins?

The coins you listed have a way higher market cap than Verge. Why should Verge do worse than these coins?

First, is Verge's tech actually better? What does Verge do that the other 3-4 major players in privacy/anonymity can't do? Second, they have first mover advantage with bigger teams, better marketing, etc. Look at bitcoin vs litecoin. Litecoin is a copycat with better tech, but it's no where near the MC of bitcoin's since bitcoin was the first one.

I agree that there is some first mover advantage but I think it is mostly there because these coins have the possibility to invent faster due to their bigger team. If they don't do that the better technology and usability will win the race. And I think that Verge has a quite nice innovation speed despite having a small team.

54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 500$ investments in currencies less than 0,30$ on: June 30, 2017, 06:41:52 PM
Bittrex is one place you can find a lot of low volume coins being pumped these days. Your guess is as good as mine which one will be next.  Roll Eyes

I think it would be better to look for coins not yet listed on Bittrex. Getting listed there might be the first step to achieve a 100x return.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 500$ investments in currencies less than 0,30$ on: June 29, 2017, 10:42:28 PM
You should check out anything that doesn't in Top100 in Coinmarketcap if you want at least 100x. Top100 list has coins over 25 million dollar marketcap. If you pick the right one in the 101-200 list you become a millionaire next year. It's %80 detailed investigation and %20 luck. Even great idea projects have hard times collecting money sometimes.

How do you determine which coins are worth investigating?
How much time do you spend on average investigating a coin?
Do you decide wheter to invest following specific criteria or your gut feeling?
56  Economy / Securities / Re: Investors for mining rig needed - Your own managed GPU on: June 24, 2017, 09:35:11 AM
Do you have any experience in mining?
Which coins do you want to mine?
How much do you pay for electricity?
Do you take any fees for hosting the mining?
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Need a tip for a beginner on: June 20, 2017, 05:10:43 AM
The most important thing is that you stick to your buy and hold plan. Even if your selected coins falls below the price you bought it for don't sell it. Rather buy coins when they are cheap.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many different alts do you hold? list your top 10 by amount held. on: June 19, 2017, 07:03:45 PM
I have most of my coins between

LBRY
SHIFT
XVG

I don't know exactly why I bought them though, still a beginner in this stuff  Smiley
I guess because marketcap is not too high yet and there are some prospects.

59  Local / Deutsch (German) / Re: Muss man Steuern zahlen wenn kein Geld aufs Fiatkonto eingeht? on: June 19, 2017, 06:19:37 AM
