That's a huge wall at 100. Not sure what impact it can have on the market given we're still $10 away from it. It's not like ask have has been pushing as of lately. I for one can't see how that wall can manipulate anything.

I believe it's fake. I did not know fake bid wall existed but this smells fishy.

A general rule is that you set up an opposite wall to what you actually want to do. So this would be from someone who wants to sell. But the sellers don't have this much money, they are mainly fiat-thinkers who sell out too early, to be replaced weekly with new speculators. Hard to say, but my prediction still holds.  Huh

Did you notice that if I post a prediction, one or two commenters usually tell me to stfu. But they don't tell to others. and my comments have been quite good lately.

The problem is not your comments on the market, what you fail to see is that most dont seem to like the way you coat them with how wonderfull you and your lifestyle are. Stay on topic and all will be fine. I even enjoy some of your comments.

Probably hard to answer, since both are not on the market yet  Grin but even if its possible, by the time of November it will only make sense to mine with an ASIC because the Diff will be through the roof.

If you really want to mine so badly, there is always LTC. Sure you probably wont get much khash out of your laptop but at least it will be more fun to watch your stash of LTC grow, as LTC Mining is way easier then BTC Smiley Any you never know whats gonna happen once Gox starts trading LTC.

Cheers

Seems like we are already back to reality. 107 and falling  Huh

See that 3k ask wall at $111? That's to make sure it doesn't bounce back. That's from a person(s) who have spent a lot of coins pushing the price down and they haven't bought back in yet. So they're not going to let the price rally until they do buy back in. From my rough calculations, they need to price to at least get to $65. They've sold a ton of coins sub $100 and if they turn around and just start buying right now it's unlikely they'd break even at best.

When you stop seeing that obvious consolidation after dumps, and of course stop seeing coin dumps into every rally, then you know we're headed back up. Until then, it's just mini rallies that will be dealt with swiftly, punishment turns out to be like 5k coins dumped all once.  Wink

thanks for pointing this out to me.

You guys need to keep in mind that rpietila is the same guy who didn't know how to prove he had bitcoins other than sending them to some random noob troll and then asking for it back. LOL

 Roll Eyes

haha seriously? quote?

Seriously. He sent 13BTC to a noob to prove he has lots of them and doesn't care but suddenly he went really mad and asked them back like 10 times before acknowledging the noob just said bye bye - which was obvious.

Human mind is a mystery indeed.

Sheesh 13 BTC proves nothing, i say if he really has that much money, send me 1000 BTC and i will believe. Since im German, you can trust me and i will send the BTC back for sure. What do you say ?  Grin

He did send me 2.65 Million Baht (about 92,000 USD)

He is new here and has some things to learn about our culture but clearly he has powder.

Edit: He is also super bullish on the price, but he is not wrong "yet". Time will tell.

Im sure about the powder, allthough it might be white Cheesy but yeah 1000 BTC to my wallet or it didnt happen. Who wouldnt trust a doctor Cheesy

Hey guys. I'm from Europe and I want to boycott Gox. Not a trader, just interested in buying some btc here and there. Which exchange do you recommend?

If you want to play it save, bitcoin.de seems to be a serious place and i had no problems trading there, as long as my gox account was not ready for prime time.

Cheers

Man im really amazed that some people really think this might be for real. I mean come on, the whole thing just stinks like a big old dead dog, thats been dead for some while  Grin Is it really greed that makes people fall for scams like this ? If so i really need to look for an old pcb somewhere around my house  Tongue Anyway its always good fun to come back to this thread.

Cheers

Consider me an 'atheist-leaning' agnostic. I can't prove that it's a scam, but until it's proven legitimate, it's not legitimate either. I am incredulous as well, as to how anybody would be willing to just throw a thousand dollars at this, but then again, I've been taken for much larger amounts before in the past, which is largely why I'm so much more cautious about big-ticket items, so maybe you gotta get burned before you learn.

I was recently taken for just under $300 when I was in a rush to purchase some bitcoin, and an asshat took me for a ride. Lesson learned: Escrow, Escrow, Escrow, when dealing with individuals.

When dealing with a business, they'd better have a damn good reputation, and demonstrations of a working product.

I didn't even order a BFL Jalpeno until I actually saw video by an independent 3rd party of one actually working. Late to the party? Maybe... But if these people can deliver as quickly as they claim, waiting 2 weeks longer to order won't amount to any sizeable difference in the long run.

What a smart reply  Wink and yeah im in the same boat. I also waited with my BFL orders until they were validated by a third party (wired in my case) Will i loose some profit ? Sure ! But in the end i think its smarter then loose my complete investement. All im saying is apply some critical thinking and you will be almost save and this scam doesnt even provide enough substance to be taken serious in the first place.

Cheers

I watched the video and noticed login credentials:

btcguild.com CEDARTEC_1

Can someone check their stats within btcgild

I just checked but ist not possible to search for other users on btcguild. But i dont think thats needed at this point. Take an old motherboard and  a bad webdesigner, et voila your new super ASIC miningcompany from Transylvania.

Cheers

The odd thing for me is that this does not feel like panic selling ... just relentless selling pressure. Yesterday, when we broke below 120 we went into freefall ... this feels very different ... worryingly so
That's why i don't think we've seen the bottom yet ... no panic and not even that much volatility

This feels like people are throwing in the towel. Capitulation, if you will. With none of the hype and buzz having any positive effect on the prices like it used to and a growing distaste with feeling like the price is at the whims of the puppet-masters, it seems like people are ready to step away for a while and let this burn itself out.

Or that could just be me.

that is probably spot on. the only responsible thing to do now is - wait for it - SELL !

Or that could just be me Cheesy

Geezz....what a dive!  Yikes . Might be holding my $110 coins for a long time...

I'm holding some at 128 and some at 156 and I'm feeling mildly scared. Just mildly though...

sell them while you can get at least 92 Wink its at least better then nothing

Nope. I have done that way too many times. I have sworn to myself to never ever sell at a loss ever again. I still have fiat in my account so it's not that bad. Smiley

i feel you:D
