So you're selling used gear at more than the brand new price on the Bitmain website?

I'm selling my Gigabyte GTX 1080Ti. It's only 6 weeks old and cost £700 new. I really can't be bothered with the hassle any more! I'm based in the UK. PM me if interested!

Are there any multi-algo auto switching tools / pools where you can keep the coins mined rather than auto- exchange to BTC? And without extortionate withdrawal fees?!
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=769239.0;topicseen

Has anybody tried this? is it any good?

sniffdog, 3.8/card last day,not happy.
How do you get $5/card?

sniffdog, 3.1 per card last day, just 18 hours worked, cause some night troubles.
Not $5/card, but at least better than zec.
Can you possibly share your settings please?
Is that on zpool, MPH or Hashrefinery by the way?
I'd like to get Sniffdawwgg to work on my rig of 1080's. Wasn't able to find where the intensities where hidden in the powershell scripts but maybe folks here can shed some light on that.

I think my settings will be useless for you.. I just added my account on MPH to default settings, delete couple algos(I've been crashed on them  Huh), and set interval to 300 after benchmarking. That's all.
I use all available pools, ahashpool and your list.

By the way, I tried to find intensities too, but not success on it... I think my cards crash on some algos, cause intensity is too high for them.
Just edit the ps1 files in miners folder

Any advice on what intensities to put on each algo? I'm running Sniffdog on standard settings at the moment on all 4 pools.

Note - MPH has a 0.003 BTC withdrawal charge! I guess I'll leave my balance in there for a while so it's less of a hit in my pocket rather than withdrawing every week.

I only have 1 x 1080Ti and am getting around £2.50 - £3 per day. I'm going to try a few different approaches in the next couple of days to see if I can get it any higher.

Ok I'm trying SIGT out to see what all of the fuss is about. Just kicked if off and it reckons about 52 MH/s. Will leave it for a while and see how it goes!

Ok so I left it running for 12 hours and here are my results (1 x 1080Ti getting 52 MH/s):-

36.2 coins earned so 24 hours would be 72.4
Current exchange rate oin Cryptopia - 0.000008
BTC  total - 0.0005792
exchange rate - £3270
Total earnings - £1.89

To me that means that SIGT is currently shit to mine!

Back to multi algo switching for me.
What do you use for multialgo when zpool and  etc are down? Do you use Multiminer or nicehash?

All of the pools that I use are back up now

Any recommendations for an auto switching pool where you keep the coins you mine rather than having them auto traded you BTC?

@RSO_ - I'll delete the benchmarks and try again later. Thanks

Ok I finally managed to put my one 1080ti card rig together at the weekend and kicked it off on SniffDog for simplicity while I look for other potential better options. It's only mining skein and nist5 at the mo even though I put a bigger list of algos in the startsniffin file. It didn't seem to benchmark the others for some reason. Anyway I'm in the game now and trying to talk the wife into letting me buy more cards! ;-)

As I only had one card I just plugged it into the mobo. Is this ok? Heat doesn't seem to be a problem as it's running at about 68 degrees. If I want to add another card I use risers? Anyone got a link to where to get them from? My mobo can support 6 x GPUs and the PSU is a 1200W one so good for another card or two.

Thanks

Ok the final piece of my first ever mining rig arrived today - the 1080Ti Gigabyte OC. I'll be building it over the weekend.

Any advice on the best miner that I can keep my coins rather than turn them straight into BTC? This is my first attempt at mining so go easy. And yes I know I've missed the bubble but intend to trade any coins mined on my existing Polo account.

Many thanks!

Hello all. I will have my first mining rig set up next week (only 1 x 1080Ti to start with but will hopefully expand) and I stumbled across this thread. All sounds perfect for me!

The only thing is I'd like to keep the coins that I mine and not convert to BTC or USD (especially with BTC price as high as it is). I live in the UK.

Are there plans to enable us to withdraw the individual coins to, say, Poloniex as that's where I do all of my trading? If so then I'll definitely use this miner.

Any info welcome! Thanks

How much difference is there between all of the different types of 1080 Ti's? I'm looking to set up my first rig with 2 or 3 to start with. Most are out of stock apart from
Asus ROG STRIX GTX1080 Ti. It's got 3 fans if that makes any difference!
56  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Gunbot trading bot on: July 22, 2017, 02:56:22 PM
I bought this bot a couple of weeks ago. I was also sceptical as I saw a few people selling their licenses! I took the plunge anyway. It's far from perfect but in my short time using it I've made 7% return. I'm not saying that it's better than manual trading cos you can probably make much more that way but I just wanted something that I could leave running 24 / 7 and not have to tinker with it much. I still monitor it closely but so far, so good!
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: June 15, 2017, 09:39:54 AM
Apologies if this is a really stupid question but I'm a newbie and am just in the process of ordering / building my rig.

Can you mine multiple coins on each card (say 80% used for one coin and 20% on another)? If so, do they have to use the same algo?
And can you do the above for each card that you own? e.g. if I have 2 x 1080Ti's can I mine 6 different coins?

It's called hedging my bets ;-)

The first day I had the bot, I made similar % profit, but it's been slow going since then lol

Care to elaborate for those of us that are planning on buying the bot? :-)

Does slow going mean losses or just no gains? Is the bot worth it?

I think he's saying that the "profit" is a bit slow. This depends on the status of the market. I'm also a Gunbot user and I just want to say that it is very profitable. Been using it for 1 1/2 months. I'm averaging 1-2% profit daily.

Great. Thanks for the reply. It just puts doubts in your mind when you're reading the thread and people want to sell their licenses so a bit of reassurance is always welcome.

Hi Gunthar,

I PM'd you a couple of days ago with a few questions about the bot. I know you're busy so just checking that you got the PM. Thanks
