money is better than bitcoin because money is easy to use and also money does not need internet, and cash is used in everyday use to transact buying and selling. both have their respective advantages and disadvantages
Cash is legit and valid and legal everywhere around the world. Nobody would look at you skeptically when you spend cash. If you spend bitcoin, they look at you like a money launder person. This is the image difference between cash and bitcoin. |

There are too many coins for short-term trading, even bitcoin, litecoin and ethereum can be used for short-term trading objects.
The same thing for long-term investment, the best one is bitcoin obviously, especially at current market situation which bitcoin could raise $2000-$3000 within hours and vice versa. The implication of bitcoin on rally is; most altcoins prices will likely going down or barely can't increase due to money flow into bitcoin or switch to bitcoin.
This is a good amount of money. If one doesn't like bitcoin, he should select the major altcoins from the top 20 or top 25 list of coinmarketcap website. The smaller ones are not suitable for serious investments. |

Of course bitcoin gains trust globally due to its expensive value, and most ICO projects always include bitcoin to promote their token market cap. Nowadays cryptocurrency are getting well known because of bitcoins. Bitcoins sustains financial stability to everybody. Bitcoin gives good profit to those who invest of it. No wonder bitcoins is the best cryptocurrency.  If they don't want government control and this kind of regulative things, bitcoin is working without ID on the blockchain. That's why people should use bitcoin to be the part of this environment. |

I think the price of bcash will continue to grow. Roger Ver with friends have stated that next year will be BCASH 2 hairforce. This will warm up interest to the coin. Also technologically, it will improve. The block size of the transaction rate. In the beginning I did not believe that Bcash will really be much but became. success
Roger ver only wants more money. That's all. I don't expect development from bitcoin cash team. If you mean manipulation they're the best in the world. They do great manipulation to make hype around BCH. |

Do we have to?
The run this year already is absolutely crazy!
No reason to move so fast imo. We will have to correct sooner or later. And the higher we go the harder the dip/drop will be.
Don't get me wrong. If we go for 20k and drop 50% to 10k, I would be fine with that. 10k as new solid bottom would be awesome.
I would love to see some kind of pit stop. A bit of cooling down in terms of upwards speed and some consolidation.
Agreed, that solid bottom around $10.000 would be the base of bitcoin and bitcoin can start new price inflations after it. Imagine it ca even go to $30.000 or beyond. |

Note that mos of the ico project collected more than $10M will fail next years. Instead of them, try to check something rigid like IOTA, OMG, NEO etc. They are much stronger than ico tokens and they have community around their product/idea.

I don't think they can really affect bitcoin price. They declared a war against bitcoin by threating us, saying they would ban bitcoin completely. They said some exchanges are closed down. Then what happened? Nothing, bitcoin reached new all time high values.

it's well over 5.2 cents now. there is a good volume in binance. that listing changed a lot of things. coin is stronger now. hitbtc wasn't enough. now %80 volume come from binance. it's still too far away from ath position.
I have 2 ETH equivalent of CDT, I joined its ICO this summer. I liked binance listing. Hitbtc was in low trade volume. The ATH is at $0.2 or above it. Reaching there will take time, but it will do this. |

Yes i trade on multiple exchange because sometimes there are altcoins that i want to buy and sell but don't have in one exchange. My other reason of trading in other exchange is to diverse my funds on different exchange to minimize the risk of losing my money in one exchange if something bad will happen.
You shouldn't store your funds in exchange wallets. This is like a rule, please pay attention. I use different exchange platforms because the volatility is lower in some of them. And some has very rich order books which you can execute your oders instantly. |

It will probably hit 1000$ on 2018. The speed of increasing major crypto currency will be faster in 2018 because so many people will fall for crypto investment and so many new traders will involve in the crypto market.
To me, it's not that much possible. Ethereum needs correction waves and those waves will lower the price of ethereum. In 5 year term, I expect it price to become $2,500 but not very soon. |

Poor people alwats aim for bigger money. That's why they show a high interest in bitcoin. There is nothing to get crazy about this reality. This is very normal as long as they stay in the rules of crypto.

any savings will be beneficial for our children...maybe it's worth thinking about bitcoin...although I prefer gold for now, because it is more stable...maybe in the near future I will save bitcoins for children
Thinking any savings are good for our children is a mistake, if you save fiat for 20 years it is going lose most of its ability to buy stuff and while something is always better than nothing you could have made your children a bigger favor if you choose to invest your money in something that gives profits overtime, bitcoin is the best but anything will be better than to hold fiat. You can make savins for your children always, this may be fiat money too, or gold/silver too. But saving bitcoin for them is more important because the profit will be maximum in bitcoin savings. |

If ETH breaks the bullish triangle around 380 - 400 $ will probably flew up to al least 500$, and as said above, we probably won's see antoher correction belov 290$.
Agreed, I think that really $300 is about the lowest eth will go now, it has been stable around that price for a long time now and I expect sooner or later we will see it break free and reach up to $400 or even $500. Yep, finally, the price of Ethereum passed target $500 in this year. However, I am a greedy trader, I want to see the price of Ethereum increases to $600 before next year - 2018. I am really want to see this target can reaches, but sadly the price of Bitcoin increased and made the price of altcoins decrease and correction again  . Never act quick for ethereum, or never rush for it. It's a trusted one and it's better if it performs the price increase a bit slower. It becomes more stable in this way. |

With my last estimation, I thought that bitcoin had the potential to reach $10000 before the year ends but with this week alone it almost broke into the $12000 and receded back to $9000 and now the current price is around the $11000 range. I believe that it has the ability to go past $12000 again.
I'm not surprised by the prices, but I expect another price decline before going that points. I mean this may be to get down to $9.000 or so. This will make the bitcoin relax to start another pump. |

it is like a buying time is coming
My friends are also into crypto and their Christmas bonuses will be into crypto. Nice thinking right? they want to be on an upward trend with the way they live because instead of using those bonuses on something that they might have fun for awhile but the next day they'll back to normal of having some financial crisis so it's better for them to invest and take the risk of buying bitcoin and just hold it. I'm doing this actively. Whenever I get paid as a bonus, I directly invest this into crypto market. I buy something new to expand my portfolio. |

The best you gonna do right now is to hold your bitcoin and for sure after few weeks you will earn more profit becauss the bitcoin will continue to increase for sure. But if you want to invest in alt you can but it's better if you use the extra money that you have in your wallet right now.
This is totally up to your financial status. Some people can't afford holding bitcoin because they always need cash and they cash their bitcoin out regularly. For the rest, it's the best when they hold their bitcoin in long term. |

While claiming coins from every fork, there is effort involved in terms of separating coins. You also lose some privacy when you exchange your forked coins. At some point, people will conclude that the gains you make is not worth it. Given the number of forks happening, you may reach the point very soon.
I couldn't see your point sir, how do we lose privacy while claiming the new fork coins? And how do we claim our fork coins from exchanger platforms? I saw lots of things about BCD, but exchanges didn't give it us yet, did they? The forking season is another trend after ICO. Forks will be more common in the future probably. |

Bitcoin is so special compare to other currency is because its price increasing from time to time. Even there were times also it fulls down but the interesting is it will rise again. Its fluctuating price is really a big advantage than to any other currency. No doubt bitcoin is so much special.
bitcoin is very spectacular because it is very profitable and very exciting to be on the road because the graphics are down and still high value, I think everyone who uses bitcoin really enjoy it even though it feels loss but will still be profitable too. so I think it's fair bitcoin to be sepsial from other currencies .. and very drastic developments almost all countries use it, because they know what is best for those who can help finance and other needs, especially in economics so reasonable bitcoin is considered favorable for who use it .. The oldest ones, the most profitable one, the most common one, the only one some companies accepts. These are the simple facts about bitcoin. And these are the thins making the difference. |

Hi all!
With bitcoin flying to the moon, a lot of people expected a (huge) crash. In perspective of other crashes, how will the price of altcoins react when bitcoins drops to say $6.000? Will altcoin go up or down?
If bitcoin makes a major dump like getting down to $6000, alt coins will be down at least 50% amount and they will face a greater market crash than bitcoin faces. Alt coins are less stable during crashes. |

With the current price growth it is sure that reaching $10000 is promised before the year end. Maybe the price will go higher than the long back speculated $10000 after the price correction. This is the time to keep hold and grab the best out of the same as price is found on the uptrend.
My prediction is still $8.500 for the end year price for bitcoin. I think we'll observe a strong correction waves in bitcoin, making the price 10-15% down compared the current price of bitcoin. |
