Unikrn Update from Las VegasThe UnikoinGold team, and other members of Unikrn, are regularly asked for updates about the future in DMs, support tickets, emails, Tweets, crypto forums, and in our Discord channel. The answer is always the same: If we haven’t announced something, it’s because it’s not ready to announce. We take our responsibility of transparency to the community seriously. It’s why we have a public contract. It’s why I have this blog. And now it’s why we’ve started the first bit of content from our new Las Vegas Studio, our UKG Cryptocast, a regular conversation between the people of Unikrn and the crypto community.  Expect us to have regular, candid conversations about the crypto space and our role in it, with regular discussions about our product development and how it impacts UnikoinGold’s use cases, users and future. We’ll soon introduce video, and interview some of the interesting personalities who flow through Las Vegas during the year. This episode, we largely discussed our MGM Grand deal and the upcoming tournaments slated there, some of our recent exchange developments and some general talking crypto shop. We plan to release much more crypto-related content, especially as UnikoinGold continues to convert large amounts of esports and gaming fans into crypto enthusiasts. We will also continue the production of esports content, our studio in Las Vegas will focus on interviews with some of the hottest names in esports.
Technical UpdatePart of our transparency is also ensuring the community knows what is happening with the platform itself. Recently, the UnikoinGold team cycled the deposit address for UKG due to technical security requirements in the build. The new address will be texted out to affected users, a policy we will continue for users whose addresses change in the future. UKG in Korea: UPBIT Ya’ll!
Earlier this week, Unikrn announced our listing on Bittrex. Today, UnikoinGold is forging forward with an UPbit listing. UPbit is the largest exchange in South Korea, among the top four exchanges in the world, and works with Bittrex and Kakaotalk.
UPbit has the potential for direct links to traditional banking systems in Korea, and will help create additional liquidity and ease-of-use for our users and enthusiasts. They also have some of the best compliance and security systems, making them a perfect exchange for Unikrn customers to acquire UKG.
Esports in South Korea is beyond huge. The South Korean esports market is arguably the birthplace of what we’d consider modern esports, and it is the sixth largest gaming market in the world with 25.6 million players in 2017. League of Legends is particularly huge, as is Starcraft, and esports athletes have long been treated with the same reverence as traditional celebrities.
A large portion of our traffic is from Korea, so Korean access to UnikoinGold, UnikoinSilver, and the Unikrn platform is a priority. Our fans are global, and so we must be global as well.
Our quest for strong, proper, well-vetted exchanges is not over, but our focus will continue to be our users and product. UnikoinGold is about to become the fuel behind the largest revolution in gaming and esports since the impact of gaming PCs began pulling casual gamers out of living rooms and into stadiums.
That said, exchanges are not Unikrn’s focus: our focus is, and always has been, our users and the platform they love.

There was a short period after our sale where users wanted UnikoinGold and had trouble getting it. That is past, and it was caused by careful research and due diligence by responsible exchanges working with us, an established company.
This week, UnikoinGold has done more than aggressively expanded access in Asia with its opening on OKex and UPbit. Our listing on CoinHub was delayed due to volume implementation issues, but it has now gone through, and we opened the new year with Bittrex.

Very thin volumes on BITTREX. Unreal for a project like this. Could this be only down to 31st or there is a fundamental lack of interest in investing in UNIKOIN GOLD?
We do not consider UnikoinGold an investment, however when we release our Q1 milestones we will be looking to market usage of these new services to use UKG on. Q1 includes skill-based buy-in tournaments, Connekt expansion and ladder competitions and UKG betting on esports matches in jurisdictions where we are licensed to offer it legally. |

Thanks. Current price is 0.00087749 ETH, way below ICO price. What I understand is that Unikoin team do not want the value of the token to rise abruptly given its utility nature. However, can the team really manage and maintain a price stability by market intervention on exchanges like Bittrex?
We would like the price to be stable by having a healthy and worthwhile token ecosystem where its utility is represented and have it be the primary driver of demand. We are not looking to release tokens just to sustain a certain price. By improving the overall utility and possibilities through: - Adding more services and features, improving the existing ones - Partnerring with more service providers - Expanding the overall markets in which UnikoinGold is to be used Will aid in growing a sustainable ecosystem where we attract more tokenholders and usage rather than speculators that look to ONLY pump up the price which would cause fluctuations that would negatively affect the user experience. |

can not withdraw bonuses?
Bonus earnings (through Connekt) are non-withdrawable until they are used (bet/consumed) on the platform. Currently that means you will have to participate in jackpots and win one with a bonus pool to gain UKG, but in the future other services will become available to you that will enable you to gain withdrawable UKG another way. Buy-in Tournaments and UKG betting are coming to certain jurisdictions where we are legally allowed to offer these services. Is it time to buy this token? I see that the proce on bittrex is now below on ico price?

Is it really below ICO price? I couldnt get into the ico somehow  The tokensale price per token ended up being: 0.001154734411 ETH per UKG Definitely a project to keep an eye on. Looks very promising, since gamers community seems to be tech-savvy enough to make it the first utility coin that actually anyone uses for reasons other than speculation.
That's what we are gunning for! We found that a lot of gamers were already familiar with cryptocurrency on various levels and have also seen that, indeed, they are tech-savvy enough to quickly learn and adopt blockchain technology and use tokens. what was the ICO price of this token? thanks in advance
Tokensale price was: 0.001154734411 ETH I had just read that article and was asking the same questions. Seems to be way too many tokens tied up internally, leaving a huge opportunity for inflation and poor valuation for investors.
Pool allocations are to be spent to benefit the token ecosystem and release plan spans multiple years. We will keep all the tokenholders in mind and to not dump or heavily dilute by bringing in millions of tokens at once. We also are very receptive in this regard and will provide transparent insight into allocated pool usage. |

What happened with this one? I had it on my ICO list as one to watch... Solid team who seems to be moving things forward and communicating here and on reddit --though not a lot of conversation happening. What am I missing? Seems like some people got screwed in the ICO? Similar to ENG? And others...
With the recent news and low market cap this seems like an incredible buy? The 'mainstream' argument does not hold up. Stellar is with IBM and Dragonchain with Disney and both are skyrocketing. What am I missing?

Mark is an investor in the company Unikrn and was a participant of the tokensale. He has repeatedly been optimistic about what blockchain technology innovation will achieve in the future, in fact he was the one who advised Unikrn to look into it initially. He has expressed concerns in the past regarding certain aspects of cryptocurency, which were blown up by media to make it seem as if he was against it all. |

I find it really interesting that you guys are going after the strip and with MGM. Do some research. Crypto currencies are not intended for massive companies like MGM. They are designed to disturb them. The crypto world will reject anything a major monopolizing company gets it hands on. Unikrn's expertise and additional offering will expand what MGM already had in place and considers it yet another great avenue to introduce people to esports, Unikrn and UnikoinGold. Hey Luca, The tokens have been distributed to the wallet addresses from which the purchase was made from. So the wallet you used to send Ether during the tokensale, will have been credited with the UnikoinGold tokens. Make sure your wallet interface supports UnikoinGold natively or supports adding custom tokens.
