About hackers / scammers getting caught, in crypto, this seems like it rarely happens.
Scammers / Hackers, most of times get a "get out of jail" card, which is wrong, but that is how it is, in the crypto wild west.
It will evolve tho, and I am sure things will eventually become harder to all of them.

Someone mentionned "signature", but I will just use a stronger "forbidden word".
Bounties.

If you are looking to buy something with BTC and want to figure it out, just figure the price based oin Bitpay current price or coinbase for the most part works to.

I just bring up a calculator on my phone.and would do the calculation real quick. .0000380 x 2,700 = 10.26 cents.

When I was looking at XRP earlier it was 18.32 cents or something like that.

Yea it's a good advice.
Let's not forget about tether pair, which is traded pretty much anywhere too. ( 1 tether = 1 USD).

It is always recommended to store your bitcoin inside a wallet, on which you own the private key.
The reality is, anything else than that means you have to rely on a third party that could get hacked, or simply get you in troubles, should a fork happen, and so a chance to lose your coins.
This is the difference between centralization and decentralization.
