My guess is some other coin will surpass both of them as they now both have the same problems -high fees and slow network. I would say ETH is winning the slow race so the top position is opened to any coin that really can scale. The lighting network to my understanding is a paid service. I am keen to see how this works for BTC with customers having to pay the BTC Network charge (non negotiable) and the Lightening network fees (a profit making business)
As it is today neither can be realistically used to pay for coffee.

Fair enough, but there are 16 pages on this thread. Some of us read the first few pages, then the last one or 2 to see status. A practical (and typical) solution is if the OP should edit the first post to make note that it's not open right now, and it would solve this problem. Yes, it would be great if people would read every single post in the 16 pages, but lots of people (like myself) haven't been following it right from the beginning. Just sayin'
very true exactly how i read

Hello,
Thanks for taking time to solve this D3 problem. I am quiet ready to download and install this firmware. I do have a few questions. How does the Dev Pool work? Do you have a mining Pool I must connect too? Are all X11 coins available on this Dev Pool.
That's already baked-in, you don't need to do anything, the miner will automatically stop mining for you and start mining for the dev a few minutes every couple of hours. Don't listen to the idiots that complain about 1.5% To make it clear to see, if you're getting a hashrate of 19300, you get instead 19010, who cares? Thanks the explanation I will be flashing my first D3 watch it for a week and then the others.

Hy guys I don't understand, why better this firmware than the stock firmware? Because the profit on19,3Ghs with 1200w is equal 17Ghs on 750W-1,5 fee.
yeah this is the only question i have but the efficency numbers are crazy with this firmare: stock 19600 ms at 1200 watt - .0612 watt/ms or 16.33 ms/watt 18500 ma at 920 watt - .049 watt/ms or 20 ms/Watt 15000 ma at 700 watt - .046 watt/ms or 21 mhs/watt thats roughly a 20 percent increase in efficency which also traanlatea to longer life on the chips which equals more time to roi , as well as less heat now all i need are some numbers on the dev fee to see the true gains Yes, at like 9 bucks a day, its less than a penny per d3 miner per day. and my miner makes no noise, and I can turn it down really low for the night to be low power consumption when there is no sun to collect. still worth it. M 30 cents a month... thats cool. I saw this russian building an new controller alltogether for the d3 so it could mine scrypt, quark, and x13/15, etc. He wants 300 bucks a unit. I am considering this as well. If you have 100 units I understand your concern. But a couple, this is worth it in all cases. M How hard is it to understand that ASICs do one and one thing only. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Application-specific_integrated_circuitBaikal Miners comes to mind. when you understand X11 includes 11 algo then its not too far fetched to imagine if they can be merged then they can be unchained or isolated.

Me too ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) I started only detecting 1 and 3 (2 was missing) then now its just 1. The funny thing is the Miner Status Summary claims the Hash is not affected even though the Chain one has about 6000MH. I just set up another one to check and its okay as per all Chains detected and connected to pool okay

If you have BOLD listed on any Exchange which one would you choose and why? My answer to the question is Cryptopia and Coin Exchange my reasons: a lot of my other investment coins are listed there. I lkie to hear your views. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Airdrop Supply: 55 555 555 LGR One ETH Address get 555 LGR ...seriously? These projects are getting worse and worse, unbelievable people even bother to sign up for a few cents ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) Learn to be grateful. It takes a lot of work to create a coin/token. You may think its just copy and paste in that case I invite you to give it a try. Have you considered that it cost the project ETH to Airdrop tokens? So they are really giving you something that has a $ cost to it apart from quality time spent, and having to deal with verbal insults. Finally no one really owes you anything. Never forget to be thankful.

Well done Dev, I noticed BOLD is now listed on EtherDelta. I can not wait for the Airdrop. Hopefully we can get listed on Yobit too. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

yes the logo is really nice

Do you use ERC20 token standard?
No. This is not an Ethereum based token. Graphicscoin has its OWN blockchain. ERC20 token are usually built on the Ethereum Blockchain

Well done dev. I have been in this community from day one and like to commend your laser focused attitude to completing the road map. This coin GFX is for keeps. Keep up the good pace and work.

I will be looking forward to the Airdrop. All the best with this project.

As we all are aware there has been an immense load of hashes on coins using the X11 algorithm. The iBelink DM11 miner is very close to really being unprofitable (using more electricity than the mined coins can pay for). With numbers like these what do we do now? What do you plan to do when the numbers get even lower? I hear the A5 miners are coming to join the party ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) and more Antminer D3's on the way. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fs1.postimg.org%2F3tbz5tpjqn%2FScreen_Shot_2017-11-10_at_7.02.17_PM.png&t=663&c=TqiU_TzsNZ4ibA)

there would always be naysayers. Do what you can to list it on Yobit and other would vote

I just was this and I will be interested to know how this technology can be applied.

Kinda funny its called unity when half the members are excluded.
Duh
Exactly. So much for "decentralized". Everyone has a first day. However would there be wide adoption when there is constant excluding of anyone who was not here on "day one" ![Angry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/angry.gif) Everyday we become the system we claim to hate and want to change. Which tool we can mine for this coin . Cpu miner is avaiable ?
Could you refer a applicable cpuminer version to mine ?
### I test with a cpuminer version but No POOL can not run . Could you tell me an available POOL ?
thank so much .
POW mining has ended. GFX is now fully POS. You can buy at http://coinsmarkets.com/

I was mining it and found nothing for 12 hours lucky for me my miner (L3+) switched to another pool. It would have been 12hours of nothing. Also while mining my miner kept resetting its elf so when it finally switched to another pool I just left it. I will be happy to mine it if the pool is stable.
