2)  On the XMRig, yes, we plan on pulling in the latest changes as time permits.  But we are not using an extremely old version, its only about 60 days old now.  But yes, if we can draft in more devs into this project those things will be more timely.  I don't mind doing it occasionally, the non-mission-critical changes are just competing with new gospel features, you see (but of course, if its a security update we will do it right away for example).  Im sure you can understand that this week for instance Im trying to release an hourly prize in the new pool for RX miners who answer gospel quiz'es, etc.

I will check this out and come back to you in case I find some hard to solve conflicts

Sounds good.  Yes lets discuss this soon as I have to explain something about their machine language commits.

** XMR-BBP so far is becoming a success!  **

Praise Jesus.

Welcome aboard BA6e!  We just gained double the hashpower!

Could we please have a few people test out 2 factor authentication on foundation.biblepay.org?

To set it up, first log in with your forum.biblepay.org account as usual (just click log in from foundation.biblepay.org - it has SSO now, so it should be a transparent redirect back in), then click Account Edit.

Then generate the code, then add it to your 2fa list.
Then generate a pin from the new entry and test it by pasting it in the 2 FA code box and click Test Pin.

Then test logging in and logging out.
When you are logged in with 2fa you should see a Key icon on the top left corner.

This 2fa setup prepares us for the ability to add deposits-withdrawals for future features (so that the account balance is protected).

The first gospel prize has been released to the pool (see leaderboard to participate).

Good afternoon, BBP!

I am busy mining with the updated rx site. Thank you for providing a new way to earn BBP and now XMR!

I have a question about the rx algo that is being used. With the former algo, the KJV Bible was part of the algo, thus the term BBP! Was the KJV brought into the rx algo in the same way?

Additionally, you have us using an older version of XMRig. What is the plan to update that to the released version? Will you try to keep up with the 0.X version changes?

Sorry for all of the questions!

1) So, the new RandomX algo in biblepay is actually 100% RandomX compatible, with an additional requirement.  We hash each RX hash with a final blake hash (and an equation to prove they were mining at the right blockhash).  The KJV bible is no longer part of our RX algo.  However, we still use the KJV bible in the coin for various things.  1) We sync from the bottom to the top.  2) The bible reader is in the code.  3) Our sins list.  4) Our double click tx pop up shows (a list of 7) verses that are based on the RX hash, etc.

Thanks and welcome aboard!

March 1 MILLION PODC Winner Announced:

https://forum.biblepay.org/index.php?topic=485.msg7177#msg7177

Congratulations Maxiandr!

Thanks! I am very happy that luck chose me! Biblecoin is a really useful coin for humanity, and I'm glad that part of my computer power goes to charity!

Thanks!

Maybe we will be a useful coin in the end times, the coin of the great tribulation, and a respite to buy things with during the mark of the beast years.

One thing is certain, I believe the question about "will the internet be up during the tribulation" that I asked early at the beginning of this thread is answered: I believe with all the IOT devices coming out, and 5g, the internet will certainly be up during the great tribulation.  Meaning that chains will most likely continue, unless the antichrist bans cryptocurrency.

Obviously we might go down during the switchover to the new world order for a short period (as a lot of prophets think power will be out for a couple weeks), but theoretically the chain will still run on those with generators and we will reorganize when we do come back up "in the beast system".

Hi Rob,

Is it possible to sort the output of "block history" on the pool such that it shows the latest blocks found first? Already having to scroll to check latest, I can't imagine when we grow Smiley

Yes, I just made it by height descending starting on the next deploy.  (HINT: HINT:  Did you see this was completed in 10 seconds, as in the other pool I would have to add javascript to do this - this makes me happy...)

As far as growth, I did have a plan for that, the report will only show the last 7 days of history.

We will also have a database maintenance plan to purge old records older than 60 days (to keep the database from fragmenting, etc).

So far its really handling the load well, I think this is going to be a winner.

Also, other pools will still be able to use this code, this will be opensource within 14 days.

Can someone help with this? I sent 15K BBP from one of my wallets to another of my wallets although it still doesn't show in my balance. I've already tried rebuilding index and recovering transactions.

I can help; so looking at the transactionid (getrawtransaction txid 1), it shows it never made it on the network so it is probably on an old side chain or something.

So first, on the sending machine, please ensure its running 1.5.0.7 (getinfo).  Then ensure its synced to our chainz explorer:
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/bbp/
Once you know its on the best height, restart it with "-zapwallettxes=1".  That will remove the sent BBP you sent and free up the balance again.

Then you can re-send it on the main chain and it should go.

New pool looks great, but I'm still having the same issue with BBP shares not being recognized.  I give up, I'm just going to bite the bullet and buy a few hundred k BBP and use that to get a meaningful return on my WGC crunching.  Thanks for all your help Rob.

Thanks!  Well I was going to say though, with the new pool, we have a lot more diagnostic options now (since I have an SQL record for each share and jobid).

So if you want to try again let me know when you start your miner and Ill tell you if I see anything.

Ok sure, why not?  Smiley  Here is my current bat file:

I have just PMed you my IP address.  Thanks!

None of this has been changing for more than five minutes, is this normal?

If you havent solved a BBP share then yes, normal.

We update the stats after you solve another share, and, 2 minutes have passed.

now my statistics settled on block 185566

Yeah, we show the max height we have shares for in the current round (IE the last few blocks).

Lets keep an eye on it now and see if it makes sense- Im running a slow miner and a fast miner.
My slow miner also shows last updated share -1 in height etc.

everything seems to be fine with the pool, I’m there at the very top, but the shares miner does not show, although they are added to the pool statistics

I did find a bug, please try now.

Update.
Seems like i disappeared from leaderboard, the shares xmr/bbp looked fine last i checked.

Will reboot miner in the mornin.

In this new pool, the Leaderboard shows just the last 2 blocks of activity.

Yes, please double check in the morning to see if you come in and drop off correctly.

This can happen if the chain advances by 2 in height also...

Does dashpay work still? Says address not seen on network but seems valid.
https://abe.dash.org/address/Xo3QrMtKAFAUw7NAqiUYZkcKGeMMBzvXTS

If I use this URL: https://abe.dash.org/address/Xo3QrMtKAFAUw7NAqiUYZkcKGeMMBzvXTSxxx
Then it says it is invalid address.

I am trying to send a foster parent an electronic gift card. They are fostering 4 children that literally came to them with just the clothes on their back.

I believe the problem is that DashPay assumes our diff is > 50 (due to a health assumption I made to see if the chain is synced), and now diff is only .50 etc.
Let me investigate this now.

I'm looking for a few testers that can help work out the bugs in the next randomx pool.

Could you please point a few to:

foundation.biblepay.org:3001

The getting started instructions can be found in the pool at:

https://foundation.biblepay.org
Click Pool

Unfortunately I have to step out for a meeting, but you can probably figure it out.  Ill be back to help debug in a few hours.

Note:  You don't need to log in, this pool works the same as nomp does, anonymous users are welcome to mine.
Note 2:  Theoretically you will get paid even during testing because we are already logging the shares.

Can you please send us a screenshot so we can see what leads up to it?

Thanks!

Dave, can you please tell me if the XMR inquiry tab is still down for you also?  Its up for me now.

It's still the same behaviour (I think) as before, but now I realized the problem by testing a bit more: the XMR plugin/frame is blocked by adblockers (no matter which one). As soon as I deactivated those, it worked just fine. Wink

Ok, great thanks.  Ill see if I can improve that on Monday when we start testing the new pool.

60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BiblePay | 10% to Orphan-Charity | POBH CPU | Sanctuaries (Masternodes) on: March 29, 2020, 03:07:51 PM

Can you give us a screenshot of the XMR tab not populating?  Thats also not happening on any of my machines, and not reported anywhere.
Is it that you just have to paste the address in and click lookup?

Sure, no problem.  Here is a screenshot.  It happens on all web browsers but was working fine just a couple days ago.

I see that, ok.  Well thats sort of a smoking gun right there as I havent seen that behavior.
Please try opening a google chrome incognito window and pulling it up, and see if you can switch to the XMR inquiry tab.

One know issue with nomp is if you leave a browser window open, the page subscribes to the single thread (which I dont like) and it takes 60 seconds to update if you hit f5.
But a new incognito window refreshes all the tabs usually pretty fast (but not very fast).

On a side note, I plan on having the second pool ready by Monday evening, so if all else fails you can test it.

It sure does seem like your computer starts a session, then hangs up before it can solve a bbp share.

Id still recommend running a cat5 cable directly from a machine and try to mine from it through the router (eliminate wifi).

That imho, is the best shot right now to circumvent other tests first.

I think the computer gods just hate me.  So here's where we stand...

First, the incognito tab in Chrome worked fine for a while, then it too stopped loading.  I was forced to go straight to https://minexmr.com/#worker_stats to be able to view my XMR shares.

Second, I tried hooking up a PC to my router via Ethernet cable, but ran into the same issue.  I also remotely took over my mom's computer (2 hours away) and tested there with a freshly downloaded copy of the miner but same results as everything else.  XMR shares are being generated steadily but no BBP shares at all.

During testing however, I noticed something went terribly wrong with the pool's stats:

https://1drv.ms/u/s!AjuxSfKebyTRgcFOYRshFGkuWBNLvQ

It's been about 20 minutes since I noticed it and it's still looking like that.

Now I know that with everything going on it seems like there is something on my end that's blocking it, but even on computers 120 miles away it does the same thing.  At that point, the only thing in common is my BBP address...even though I've already tested with a freshly generated one.

Something I just thought of...would there be any configuration in my BBP wallet that could be affecting this?  Would received addresses generated in old versions have issues?  Since I have not tested a new received address since I upgraded to the most recent build of the wallet, would that be worth a shot?  Could this be something that the pool is rejecting when trying to credit shares?

Well unfortunately the pool went down at 2am cst, and I just brought it up at 9:45 AM CST, so I believe the testing was probably in vain....

I'm working hard to try to create the new pool by tomorrow at 6PM CST.

If you want to re-test again it is up now.

Dave, can you please tell me if the XMR inquiry tab is still down for you also?  Its up for me now.
