41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quit expecting a ETH killer on: March 18, 2022, 12:45:56 PM
It's getting annoying to see people talking about a project is the next Ethereum killer, for how long are we going to keep this up? So far there are so many ETH killers that haven't taken a single shot at Ethereum, this has proven that Ethereum isn't a project that any new coin or token can just take over like that, it has never been easy.

are you sure it will stay that way in the future?
the only thing unique about ethereum right now is that they still use POW. but if you look at the technology, I'm sure ethereum is lagging behind. so when eth has migrated to POS it will look the same. and that will make the competition even hotter, maybe ethereum will be abandoned, because they haven't been able to solve the problem of network fees even though they have switched to PoS consensus. so about the ethereum killer is not really a bullshit. solana, Avalance, and other smart contract projects could really be the ethereum killer if ethereum couldn't solve their problems.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TIPS how to manage from losing when investing new projects. on: March 18, 2022, 03:33:49 AM
the only way to avoid losses is not to invest. when you invest in a new project, it means that you are ready to lose because almost 100% of the new projects released are not profitable. so the method you mentioned is even less effective

1. We buy coins not only because the price is low - So which coin to buy? high priced coins? After all, who decides whether a coin is cheap or expensive at that time is even just presale.
2. We have to stop thinking about hypes - buying new project coins/tokens that have no hype is tantamount to leaving you loss.
3. Stop falling to scam projects - no one wants to invest in a scam project. but today's lyrical scam projects always look like good quality projects and always confuse everyone. it's hard to confirm that a project is a scam before they actually do it.
4. Doing Research - even beginners done this. but in the end, they loss.

so the most appropriate choice is not to invest.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: As big as binance in the future on: March 17, 2022, 06:58:32 AM
kucoin/huobi has a great opportunity to follow in Binance's footsteps. these two exchanges meet some of the criteria to be worthy of being a major exchange and could possibly co-exist with Binance. there is also a coinbase, but I have my doubts about this exchange because regulations make it difficult for them. if this exchange is from other country and not too focused on US, maybe coinbase can be the best.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: That is why play to earn concept is a massive failure on: March 16, 2022, 03:33:55 AM
oh wait where is the failure?
just because the hype faded and the number of new players dwindled, you concluded that the game was a flop?
isn't it too shallow to think like that?
a real example look at axie, although there are many games that look the same and slowly their hype has faded, but they are still holding on. and it's not a failure, I call it consistency. as long as the ecosystem is good, games that you think are all the same still have hope to thrive and survive. So don't think it's all a failure.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto prices are starting to strengthen again on: February 23, 2022, 03:45:15 AM

Hopefully there will be more progress for all crypto prices.
it's hard to think optimistically right now because the market is in a bad situation. Russia-Ukraine tensions, and next month's FED meeting discussing interest rates are the reasons for this situation to occur. maybe today looks green, but tomorrow or the day after we might see another decline. it all depends on the news of the past few weeks. so I'm not too optimistic that the market will improve in a short time.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Only Small % Of Tokens/Coins Survive on: February 22, 2022, 11:23:03 AM

Conclusion: Most coins/tokens don't survive and you likely won't know which will and which will not.

Do you agree? Have similar experiences? Would you like to share?

yes you are right, all the projects i invested in the past are not visible today. only a small part survive and even then are not included in the top 100 marketcap. This will also happen in the future. a project that looks genuine and very convincing today, there is no guarantee that it will last in the future.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you consider the safety factor/risk of your invested tokens? on: February 22, 2022, 06:23:49 AM
Was wondering lately how you count and rank your token's security factor and risk before you invest in it?

Do you have a tool that you are using?

lats say that you are able and want o build such a tool how would you make it what you would add what you will remove?

I'm a student and doing a project for my study would like to hear your comments  Grin Wink

there is no such tool. I only trust my intuition. maybe you can say hit and run, invest in IDOs and sell them the first time they are traded. so I don't care about the future of that project or any other technical issues. As long as it makes a profit, I'll buy it and sell it when the opportunity arises.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question on: February 21, 2022, 03:32:56 AM
Hi !
Can anybody tell me how to make money in Steem ?

on that platform there are many challenges, you can make money from there. you just need to join the communities that are there. for example https://steemit.com/trending/hive-185836 this is one of the communities that I follow there. they every week always provide a challenge. if you win you can make money from there. there are many active communities on steemit that provide challenges like this. so give it a try if you are interested.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What's wrong with Coinsbit exchange on: February 20, 2022, 12:56:28 PM
This is coinbit.io right?

Have you tried emailing them with this contact?

support@coinsbit.io

Or joining their Telegram group in order to make sure that you are not the one in this case? Maybe you can find the possible answer in support group that they have and someone can help you and give you the solution.

I also have the same problem, and already sent an email to their support. but the answer they gave was only told to wait because of manual checking. but it's been more than 2 weeks the KYC status on my account is still waiting for verification.
50  Economy / Economics / Re: [POLL] What is the most likely long term scenario for Bitcoin? on: February 20, 2022, 08:41:01 AM

Bitcoin is currently in a growth phase, but eventually it will become an "established" asset. At least many Bitcoin supporters, including me, believe this. In this "final" scenario, Bitcoin could become more stable, with bubbles and crashes being part of the past.

I have my doubts about this, because people prefer bitcoin volatility over being more stable. so the final scenario you thought up was very difficult to materialize. bitcoin is so loved for this, see how bitcoin make people rich in just a short time. One reason is volatility. so in the future bitcoin will stay like this.
51  Economy / Economics / Re: Nice job Justin! on: February 19, 2022, 01:33:59 PM
what he is doing is increasingly making people distrust the centralized system. just see with just a few statements, people can be restricted from their funds. the way they handle the problem is very bad. I wouldn't be surprised if in the future Canadians prefer bitcoin, and other cryptos that are more privacy-friendly. suspend bank accounts, and suspend their insurance. This includes violations. government cannot be arbitrary. This is not solving the problem, it will only create new problems and create another wave of demonstrators.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto asset prices weaken on: February 18, 2022, 08:16:46 AM
if you see market today you will see everything is plummet not just crypto, stock as well the war between russia and ukraine the fed with interest rate and inflation rate goes high people will save the money for stable coin right now

i saw bunch video that discussing about this on youtube "The tappering will exist for 2 years" "Crypto Winter and the bearish taking over"
You're right, the issue of the Russia-Ukraine war has become a hot topic in recent weeks and this has caused the stock market, especially Europe, to also experience a decline. so it's not just in the crypto market. plus the news that the fed wants to raise interest rates month by exacerbating the current situation. bitcoin is above 40k, which is actually a great thing so far. given a lot of negative speculation thriving, I wouldn't be surprised to see bitcoin fall deeper.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Shiba Inu community is enraged by Microsoft's recent tweet on: February 18, 2022, 02:20:17 AM

but it could be that this tweet makes the popularity of shiba rise again and can pump up the price of shiba.
How is it possible? are you drunk? The tweet didn't even mention shiba inu and how it can give impact to the popularity of shiba inu?You must be joking with it and that's clear that if you didn't even try to take a look at the microsoft's tweet. It doesn't make sense to see this tweet will give impact to the popularity of shiba inu. Im sure that if you're drunk.

yes you're right, the tweet didn't even mention the specifics. then why would it have an impact on the shiba inu?. I love speculation, but this time it really doesn't make any sense. microsoft only mentions about 2 dogs, and it could be a meaningless joke.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to detect scam token on Binance Smart Chain on: February 17, 2022, 11:15:48 AM
"How to detect scam token on Binance Smart Chain"

If it's on Binance Smart Chain, it's a scam.

not all are scams, there are some that look good. pancake or safemoon is one that is worth investing in. so not all projects that use the BSC network are bad and scam. Actually, from the start, projects that use smart contracts can be categorized as bad projects. because almost 90% of projects that don't have a private blockchain end up dying or failing. only a few survive, and even then very few. so it's not only in the binance smart chain, projects that use other networks must also remain under suspicion.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter adds ethereum for tipping and receiving on: February 17, 2022, 05:53:54 AM
Pay $200.00 in gas for a $1.00 ETH twit tip.

Who thinks up this nonsense?
this is very useless and not great news. twitter seems not aware of the current ethereum issue. they don't seem to see the GAS fee on the ethereum network to be one of the most expensive. this is stupid news for me LOL....
56  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Prediction for March!! on: February 16, 2022, 11:30:05 AM
From what I see in the market for now where the price of Bitcoin itself is already in the range of $43K, then in general I can give a little view where the Bitcoin price at the end of this month will be at $45K again and for the beginning of next month it is unlikely that it will straight away at $50K although the potential to go to $50K is very open.

what about the news of rising US interest rates?
it happens in the next month, and will most likely have an impact on the crypto market especially bitcoin. even though the technical analysis of the graph shows it will go up, but also pay attention to the supporting fundamental factors. so most likely bitcoin will react the other way around.
57  Economy / Economics / Re: Economics on: February 15, 2022, 12:21:55 PM
A lot of countries are releasing/ contemplating to release their own digital currencies. EU is contemplating digital euro, Jamaica is thinking of digital Jamaican dollar.. India has already launched digital rupee..
How these currencies will affect the bitcoin/crypto ecosystem?

actually does not have much effect on the bitcoin ecosystem, because basically people's views about bitcoin have started to change from a means of payment to a store of value asset. but the impact of currency digitization is to create a better crypto ecosystem. this will trigger regulations that make crypto clearer and possibly fully legalized like in el salvador. so broadly speaking it will be good in the long run.
58  Economy / Economics / Re: US inflation reached 7% in December as prices rise at rates unseen in decades on: February 14, 2022, 03:51:15 AM

I think high inflation rate is good for bitcoin. But high interest rates is not good for bitcoin price, as investors will move their money to bonds and treasuries which will be paying more than before
yes you are right, rising interest rates will trigger the crypto market. the question now is, will the crypto market survive? this is what i kept thinking the last few days. when viewed from this morning's chart, the worst could happen.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto space is a land of possibilities on: February 13, 2022, 06:08:03 AM
since its inception crypto is a speculative industry. in the past bitcoin before being adopted by institutions, can survive because of speculation that is always growing in the community. therefore without speculation or hype, however good the project was it would be difficult to make it big. You can see from Doge or Shiba, this coin was originally shitcoin but when Elon made a tweet, there were a lot of people speculating about this coin and a hype coin meme was created.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you regret when you miss selling at ATH followed by a correction on: February 13, 2022, 04:12:39 AM
I don't think anyone has any regrets about skipping ATH, or selling before ATH. in the end they still made a profit so it couldn't be called regret. the only regret in crypto is those who buy at ATH, this is probably the regret that always gets stuck in FOMO. I've never experienced this myself, because when I fall behind, it won't force me to enter.
