Why are people still so convinced about this?
Bitcoin is great, we learned a lot of it. Without Bitcoin we wouldn't have those other cryptocurrencies.
But just because Bitcoin is the pioneer doesn't mean it can't be replaced.
Bitcoin Cash is just a clone with bigger blocks, this will only solve the problem temporarely. So forget about it.
It's clear that Bitcoin isn't the best coin anymore. Problem is because of all this hype there is a lot of new dumb money that only see Bitcoin's insane price growth. That kind of people that leave their money on Coinbase is what I'm talking about (for long term).
If people would look at things more objectlively things wouldn't have gone this way.
I'm not naming other coins because I don't wanna make this a pump post.
Too much dumb investors these days.. Bitcoin is no longer useable in a normal way but noobs will never realize because they never make a transaction to their own wallets because they don't even know it's decentralized and stuff...
I hope Bitcoin will fail soon. It has had enough time to be adapted to its use of today. Why can't Bitcoin be as good as other and better crypto's? I have no idea. But in my eyes it's already game over for Bitcoin.
I know theres gonna be a lot of fanboy hate coming to this post. Don't make them ruin this topic please.

I got to say that you are making a very good choice by atleast not simply adopting BCH instead of BTC. BTC dominance is decreasing day by day but BCH is not really the best solution. Moreover after the recent Ethereum network congestion its quite clear that even ETH is no more a coin that can be trusted for mass adoption. People say IOTA, XRP but I think there is no crypto which can be trusted for a mass adoption. Not yet, but at least were getting there  |

I agree with most of your points, but not because dumb money is pumping up the price it doesn't mean that bitcoin can't be great. Also, sure, we're definitely currently having a big scaling problem. But who's to say that this won't be fixed in the future? I'm very very upset with bitcoin's current situation, but I'm still a believer; no matter how cringey that sounds. I respect your opinion and your decision though.

Thank you, I'm not hating. The reason I say this is because it has had more than enough time to adapt. Don't exactly understand why tbh... But if you look at the TPS (Transactions per second.) it's clear that other crypto's are much faster I agree with you with that part. We definitely needed a scaling solution ASAP. Sure, other crypto's are faster. But in exchange, most cryptocurrencies are more decentralized, and are more prone to attacks. I'm not hating on Bitcoin. But on the people that keep buying it or make posts like Bitcoin is the best cryptocurrency ever. And its value now is very high and make many people take profit from the high price.

I have had multiple payout issues at Suprnova.cc which got solved after waiting a couple of months to finally get a reply from ocminer. Hello, Anyone else facing stratum issues on xmr.suprnova.cc? I'm talking about xmr.suprnova.cc:5222 and xmr-eu.suprnova.cc:5222. I use cloud mining and I have 1/4 of power to xmr.suprnova.cc which I suspect is working. And 3/4 of power to xmr-eu.suprnova.cc which I suspect is not working. After all, is it "normal" that pools have stratum issues on a regular basis? Can't switch pools EDIT: I already have sent ocminer a message. As usual he is online everyday but still he is slow as fuck to reply (can take several months from my experience) |

I been mining on supernova since 27th and I have been out of town and I only managed to get like 1.3 coins. and since I came back today at supernova I have gotten 0 coins and my hash rate in over 6000 kh/s anybody know whats going on?
Less hash rate. This can be sorted out only when more people decide to neutralize the monopoly created on 1 pool (MPH). Besides that, suprnova had some issues which were promptly fixed by zcoin devs. Now the pool just needs move hash rate to improve the earnings. At present the hash rate is like MPH hash rate > hash rate of all other xzc pools combined together  And an advice to all other pools like suprnova, zpool, etc. Make an attractive offer (at least for the time being). Something like 0% fee till the traffic increases to a level that can maintain hash rate balance between pools. There's "only" roughly 700 MH/s on suprnova while the rest is on MPH, as long as you have 95% on one pool, you have also 95% of the blocks on that pool.. it's as easy as that Fees are 0% on suprnova for weeks now and no one really seems to care, also the distribution is like this for weeks already and also nobody (also not the devs in any way) seems to care. As long as there are no problems, no stuck TX etc. no one cares ;-) Oh yes, and of course I've upgraded to latest. ocminer, can you please check your personal messages? Titel "Action Required" There is a big problem in one of your pools |

It's happening
If it's in a small exchange I think it's a regular thing, when you want to sell your coins but no buyers. In contrast to coins that rise slightly but are in a great exchange. Regardless of the increase I do not feel the coin is good, because it still has no interest (seen from the buy order) It's on Poloniex and it has 99.09% volume according to Coinmarketcap ( https://coinmarketcap.com) If it will break through 20 it will be a massive pump. It's forming a ascending triangle now (bullish) |
