Isn't a Windows 8 Pro license valid for Windows 8.1 as well?

Web developer to implement features in a coin? Huh. Haha yeah exactly, coins are not my field, they themselves have nothing to do with web development. I can develop websites around coins if someone's interested.

So this is an all or nothing deal?

If I turn on my wallet after 6 months, will I still get the returns or do I need it to be permanently active?
Yes, but you miss out on 1/4th the annual interest, since max coinAge is 90 days. Also, it's best to have your wallet locked while your wallet is downloading the block chain to get in sync. Also, is there a planned feature for making paper backups? I have a few CGB and I'd like to put them in some real cold storage (partly because it's safest, partly because I don't want to impulsively sell them ). Yes, definitely will have paper wallets and vanity addresses real soon. The vanity addresses was something I wanted to do for awhile but was too busy with MADEsparq development. How do I calculate the stake I'll have? Also, if I leave my wallet in cold storage for months/years, I shouldn't worry about loosing my base coins as well correct?

CGB is amazingly undervalued right now (considering there are only ~1,000000 of the damn things) What with alt-mania in full swing I cant believe its still only sitting at ~£2.50
Very true. Good luck accumulating thru mining at this point too. Find a sucker with a wall and get your fill. Question: How many does it take to be considered a wall?

CB projection/goal for 2013 re-target. I have said since July that my personal goal for CB was 1 CB > 1 LTC by the end of the year (please note that the cost of 1 CB has surpassed the cost of 1 LTC's value at the time of the projection but LTC has increased exponentially as well so technically the goal has not been met). The way crypto's have taken off recently, I thought I would adjust this projection slightly. Although 1 CB > 1 LTC is still a living goal for the year I foresee a smaller goal to be more likely. I would like to go on record predicting CB's market cap to reach $10 million USD by the end of the year. Yes, that means 1 CB > $10 in the next month. Here are my reasons:
1. Bitcoin boom opening the door for crypto exposure 2. MADEsparq 3. Closing of MCX combined with Cryptsy's facelift bringing in exponential investors/capital to primary trading platform for CB 4. Prospect of getting added to BTC38 where exposure to the Chinese investors will occur 5. Continued advertising and community growth and involvement
Again, these are merely my personal goals for CB which I feel are very reachable.
This would certainly be awesome, all power to you!

On another note, anybody know if Simple Machine Forums can be trusted again? I did a simple search regarding the bct hacks but didn't see an official fix announcement, or anything like that.
I don't want to use SMF until I'm confident CBtalk won't get hacked in a similar manner.
AFAIK SMF has no known exploit (I've been using/part of SMF/developing mods for it since 2007) in the latest version, plus the development team is still fairly active. If you're looking for support/help on putting the forum up using SMF feel free to contact me, I'll be glad to help. From what I remember wasn't BCT hack due to something other than core SMF (server exploit or a mod exploit?)

It's like, you're not even trying to put some effort into scamming people.

Thanks for the explanation mercSuey I was thinking about this, so how does this go? BTC goes up, everything else goes down.
Because the exchange rate CGB/BTC is based on BTC. Just look at it using numbers: 1/10 , 1/100 , 1/1000 = .1 , .01 , .001 You can see as the denominator (bottom number) increases from 10 to 100 to 1000, the overall number gets smaller. But the dollar amount is still looking good: http://coinmarketcap.com/Then BTC crashes and everything else goes up and then BTC goes up again in a more sensible way?
Yeah, because strong holders take up the supply so that the next leg up has less selling pressure. The wise strategy is to build reserves in order to buy the quality alts whilst BTC is ramping. When the price breaks, you will be able to pick up the better coins just before they make their next moves up. I am picking up small amounts of CGB as and when it is offered low, but the big game hass a small window of opportunity. I've bought an initial amount and am holding onto it for a few months, even if BTC crashes it'll come back up like always and I see CGB going up given these recent announcements (it's already holding steady at a price higher than what I bought them for), since the money I invested in it was secondary I can hold them indefinitely.

The BTC price is affecting CGB again. I think I'm gonna take the advice and not look at the price till next year

I'd like to announce all the bitcoins I have are effectively free since I cashed out my initial fiat investment.

I'm a freelancing web developer (currently freelancing fulltime) and I'm always looking for side projects in case anyone is looking out for anything (my availability is variable, but feel free to contact me, I might just be able to take it up). I can work on both hourly and fixed price rates, depending on what's more comfortable with the client. I have extensive experience in the following fields:
PHP (> 6 years) MySQL (> 6 years) HTML, JavaScript, CSS (>5 years) HTML5, CSS3 (~3-4 years) jQuery, jQuery mobile (~2 years) Yii, Symfony and Zend frameworks (~2 years each, most of them overlapped in between multiple projects, I currently am employed full time for development on a private site based entirely on Yii) Twitter bootstrap (~3 years, my primary CSS framework of choice for responsive web development)
If anyone has any serious offers, please PM me with budget and details, if it sounds something I can take up, I'll provide with my own past experiences etc. Generally I prefer to take payments bi-weekly in advance, if you have something else in mind, do tell. My base rate is $40-50/hr depending upon the length of the project, I'd prefer something medium sized (lasting a month or so).
Thanks
