You're right - AI like any technology can be used for good and bad. In fact there are a large number of private research centres focused on development in this area already - but which do you think is safer- to be able to see the source code and models running on GitHub where model safety can be assessed by anyone with an internet connection - or developed in a private lab where you don't get to have a say?

No doubt about it jacafbiz, it is a competitive market - that's for sure. Its why we're approaching it from an open source community perspective.

If you think about it, hundreds of billions of dollars have been spent on the financial system over hundreds of years and never produced Bitcoin until quite recently.

Innovation is constant - and we hope to be a part of that innovation by building a community around AI and Robotics that is easy for the average user. Many strong brands and names have been built by engaging the community early and building the products that people actually want to use.

Its definitely important what we're able to build and how users engage with that product - so hopefully that can do the talking as we move forwards past the idea stage.

Further updates coming very soon.  We've been working hard on what the Phase I for AI Exchange is going to look like and have almost completed the whitepaper for that phase. Development of the project begins in earnest from mid October to November onwards.

Bounties may be offered in the future for work on specific projects related to the software and/or software platform but the Solidity code for the token is already in development.

Yeah definitely understand the need for this. We're currently working out team roles given that its still a young project and not all roles have been filled. If you (or anyone else with serious enquiries) PMs me I'll be more than happy to pass on my telephone number for a private call and more details about the project. Team details will definitely be published at a later date though.

Yeah, its alot of tokens but the time horizon for mining is quite long and the projects which will make use of them will need to have enough tokens on hand to distribute once the number of project contributors increases.

That's right - the token goes live on Jan 1 2018 after a period of development and merge mining testing. We'll hopefully be engaging the exchanges around November/December so that should also be an option once the tokensale ends.
