Wallet coming "soon" according to Ton Bi on Slack. I hope that this "soon" does really mean that the release will be within the 2-3 days delay as said by devs (no later than tomorrow). Please don't delay this again  Just relax. The really interesting feature is the decentralized exchange anyways. The wallet itself, while nice, is not why anyone should be invested in NVO. Well, the wallet is important for two reasons: 1) Proof of development: the wallet is an essential prerequisite to the DEX, DEX cannot work or be used in a practical and alluring way. The more the wallet is delayed, the more the DEX is delayed. This is a climate with many DEX projects already working and coming soon. Time is crucial. 2) DEX GUI attractiveness: the wallet GUI will be a good precursor to how the DEX will look like. Again, since there are many DEXes out there already and more coming, it will come down to how easy to use the DEX is for widespread adoption. To attract more users is very important for liquidity, and many people today don't use DEX's because of the small liquidity which results in large margins. So yes, the wallet is important, and the moment it's released and people start using it and judging how well it's working and how ease to use it is will reflect on the price and the overall attractiveness of this project, either positively or negatively. |

I'm 100% with you on this one and I've been just as upset when I heard the announcement. But I'm still willing to wait and see if they are going to address this anytime soon. Kris already stated that they are looking for a replacement of the asset contract that doesn't conflict with laws. Doesn't make it any better than they even tried to get rid off it without offering even an "ongoing attempt" at a replacement in the first place though....
The solution is very simple, and Kris knows it, instead of putting the 1% in the asset contract, just buy MCO tokens with them and burn them, that reduces supply and puts exactly the save added value to each token. It's a simple solution that doesn't make it a security at all, and is employed by many ICOs. The decision to scrap the asset contract was simply to increase the profits of Monaco company itself without considering MCO holders. It is not a coincidence that they announced the scrapping of the asset contract exactly at the same time as the VISA deal, hoping it will just fly under the radar. But that's the danger of investing in an ICO, they are not legally obliged to offer any value to MCO holders. the token can go to 1 cent and the Monaco can still be successful and bring a lot of money to the devs, but nothing to the token holders, that applies to any ICO. |

Buyback was a huge mistake. Flop. Bad idea. Not well thought out or planned. Rushed into. Y would they do that the second it hit hitBTC and not wait at least a few days or weeks to watch the market if their plan was to increase price to help investors  The devs are happy about it tho . They’re excited . Every single investor including myself is very unhappy about it and we all just lost over 60 percent of the value we held in our investments (scl tokens) in a matter of hours . I had held every token I purchased in the ico and still have not sold one . Before the devs did this bullshit the price was rising steadily and fast . Now what... it’s on its way to nothing . With nothing in sight to change it’s bear run . So we better sell all now while we can and get out while we can before it drops to pennies and start profiting like the rest of the smart money and the rest of my money. Or HOLD for ever and then most likely lose all lol. I lost faith. Let the devs have them all. Or they can do an airdrop and give all the scl holders a portion based on the amount each investor holds of every coin they bought in the buyback. They did it for us right? They fucked up right? So make it right .doing so would cause the price to do what??? What it does every time before an airdrop. RISE!! If they care about the investors like they say they do they should have no problem doing this . They probably already came up with the idea and have not told us yet. LOL. Btw,price seem go lower and lower.Only good news or new exchanges can change this bearish  More exchanges will not help the price at the moment, it's already available in multiple exchanges some are quite big. It's called the rule of diminishing returns. People were holding the tokens just for the buy back program, and the proof of this is the ensuing crash. The only thing that can lift the value of SCL from now on is providing value to them through their app. Which they made it clear in their whitepaper, that no dividends or profits will be distributed to SCL tokens. So the price will just follow speculations from here on in. |

I'm not actually concerned about the problems they are having releasing the tokens form the ICO. It's a temporary problem, a couple of days of delay is nothing compared to the long term plan. However there are two concerns about the price of Electroneum for both the short and long term:
1-Short term: currently, the supply and demand put the price between 5 cents and 10 cents, while this is the total demand at the moment, meaning ANYONE who wants to by Electroneum can do so right now, but this is not the total supply, this is just a small percentage from mining that is on offer, Once the ICO tokens are released the supply will increase by at least 100 fold, while the demand is still the same, and the rules of supply and demand simply mean that the price will crash hard.
2-Long term: You might say, it's ok if it crashes now, it will recover long term. But think about this, the exact moment of token release will be followed by the mining app, while it's a great marketing strategy, it will greatly increase the supply even further, on daily basis, and the more people are using the app (which they would of course, it's free money), the more ETN will enter the market on daily basis. Those tokens are even more than the ones sold during the ICO. So a downward spiral is possible still!

so I sold my Indorse tokens after a while holding. I couldn't but wonder why is the price so low despite being a good project with a team that regularly updates on their progress. It came to my attention that it is probably their IND token valuation. The post highlights how this model does not guarantee that the IND token price goes up with more usage of the Indore platform, on the contrary it might even go down. Meaning even if the company and their project becomes successful, that success doesn't necessarily reflect on the price of the IND token. So the company formed their ICO in such a way to collect money from investors without offering any value to their tokens. They made it clear in their whitepaper that this is the case, yet many people hoped the contrary. Good luck to the indorse team, and hard-luck to all the investors. |

Being on more exchanges just facilitates trading. on the long term what matters is the value of MCO token, now that it's not backed by the asset contract it is worthless, therefore, there will be no demand. That is NOT a positive development, they tried to sneak this past everyone by releasing it at the same time as the VISA announcement.

Well forking Bytecoin was plain stupid. And at moment that was announced I said it in this thread. Just check first pages. ""Maintenance and future proofing. Monero is WAYYYYYYYY more developed and maintained than Bytecoin. Bytecoin has had 88 commits to it’s core code since 2014. Monero has had 4795 commits!"" But people still showered this genius with $40 millions. My friend, you must know by now that the price of a coin is not only related to the technical superiority, if that was the case, Bitcoin wouldn't be number one right now, not even top 10, with it's horribly slow transactions and crazy high fees. The price of the coin is directly proportional to how many people know about it, plain and simple. And by combining the tried-and-tested Monero code base with high publicity, we've got a winner imo. |

Id like to point out that the scam on the etherdelta exchange showed us how quickly ETN could rise. It went from $.02 to $.21 in 5 hours!!! 4 million sold.
It is horrible all those people lost their money, but it did show us that the market was willing to pay 21 cents in the beginning HOURS!!
That is a really good point, I never thought about it this way. Also whoever bought into the scam must be people with very little knowledge about crypto, as really everyone knows EtherDelta only trades ERC20 tokens. So when the real ETN is in exchanges it will attract those newbies as well as crypto-aware investors! |

Looks like Monaco is finally close to some big news. I am watching them and tenx very closely. This will be a big pivot point for one of them and surly be a market test for tenx. We shall see which one grows.
Monaco have been delaying their release of cards for two months now. So it's rather a gamble to buy MCO. If/when they start releasing cards then they can begin to compete with TenX in marketcap, and it will all depend on card adoption henceforth. |

last weeks trading on Coss was not a lot of volume due to the overall BTC hardfork going on so I don't expect much this week, for me the real value will be from next year and a permanent future income stream, also why I'm investing in upcoming STeX exchange ICO. If i see the volumes of Binance, bittrex etc to have a permanent share of the fees/income is a no brainer. That is why i rate COSS & upcoming STeX ICO as the model for the future

As I know PAY token holders should receive 0,5% of TENX transactions on pro-rata basis. What I need to do in order to receive comission if I'm token holder?
That hasn't been implemented yet, and their CEO made it clear it's not a priority at the moment. Probably in 2018. |

They've only had payouts for 2 weeks so far, I assume they'll release a report on quartarly basis. They're different each time depending on the trading volume that week, and how many people are included in the payout by following the payout steps. |
