To respond to your question about gas, the primary two mechanisms of improving in this area are 1) moving more things off-chain. We already do this with match-making, and are looking into the potential to do more computation off-chain, such as by implementing state (or 'fate' as Funfair calls their version) channels and 2) allow improvements in the Ethereum ecosystem to help out in this area as various upgrades are made to the platform (PoS, raiden, etc)

Thank you, I actually just noticed that typo a moment ago myself. It has been corrected. We are currently not running a bounty program, but a signature/avatar campaign may be started in the near future.


In an unrelated update, the Ethbet token has been slightly reworked and has mechanisms that will cause it to appreciate in value instead of providing dividends.

New games are not currently scheduled but are definitely a future possibility.

We are looking into a traditional signature bounty. The signatures have been designed however executing a successful bounty campaign is expensive and currently it's been delayed for that reason. Not all of the bounty tokens are allocated for pre-crowdsale activities, some are for bug bounties, for example.

The post directly above yours should answer this question. Edgeless does not even provide dicing at this moment, which is the current goal of Ethbet.

The new date of the crowdsale is September 17th. It has been delayed by a week so that we can provide a better demo, protocol description, and more information to potential investors.

It depends on what you mean by mainstream. We would like the platform to be usable enough such that anyone with cryptocurrencies or Ethereum (and its wallets) is able to use it without difficulty. As far as more ambitious goals go, we don't have a million dollar budget like projects like Funfair do, so our game will be more of a niche game compared to a project that large. The purpose of Ethbet is to provide the most cost-efficient way to gamble/dice, not to change the world and allow every person access to dicing.

Hi, the rate of EBET will be 1500 EBET per ETH that is sent on the first day. This rate decreases over time and a table can be found in the original post or on https://ethbet.io/crowdsale.html. We are able to do other potential reward campaigns however the payout would have to be in EBET instead of BTC. EBET is just the name of the Ethbet token that is sold during the crowdsale.
