I have a masternode that does not work. It says "pre-load" ...
What does that mean?

I have an l3+ coming from bitmain via DHL now. I can handle the customs payments for it myself and need to know does the products price show up anywhere in the packaging or does DHL know etc.   Basically so I can give them a slightly smaller price than what is in this receipt in my email and pay less taxes. The honest price anyway, just the litecoin amount paid multiplied by the price at the time of order. (1200 EUR) as opposed to the 1850$ (1550€) price shown in the order details. |

masternodes roi just went down....do you think it is really worth it?
masternodes.pro notes states - stats are not right. might change after the update someone with operating MN - could you please respond with the actual details to come to a decision thanks Do you mean they are totally wrong? is it profitable to invest or not? Masternodes.pro stats are wrong, the webmaster is working on fixing it. I checked linda's slack and someone has received 870k linda since 29th. So on avarage 140k Linda per day so far, but the rewards are split with an increasing amount of masternodes. The real ROI is good, but not that crazy as on that site, maybe more like 160% than 1600.  |

Kinda lame to see one wallet holding 40% of the current supply. Don't personally really care though. I got some at 7 sat and even if there's a slim chance for the price to go up it's worth the risk. I am not risking much though, holding just half a million Lindas.
Would like to know what's with the delay? Linda is not on C-cex or livecoin yet as per the schedule.

By croms bones, the space required by the wallet is gargantuan. 80GB? Owhh, I am gonna have to keep my coins in the exchange till' I figure out where to fit this thing...

Phew, I got a single unit for September hours before they sold out. Close call. As long as it can cover my ~300eur rent and allow me to save some Lite's for the future I am a happy miner, don't even care about ROI really. Can't wait, just a few more rock bottom homeless weeks...  Really disturbing though, that when you make the order they send you no order confirmation what-so-ever by email. Clearly my order went through and I paid for in instantly in lts... everything should be gine but this naturally leaves me paranoid. I had to send them a ticket to ask them if everything is fine... We'll see how they respond. Never dealt with this company before. You have your confirmation at the website. Order should be paid, valid, unshipped. The only extra place I can navigate to when I am logged in is my account panel... No list of orders for me here. o.O Bitmain have it very strange. You have to be in shop and than login. Thanks man! I'm testing my cards now ( 4 gtx 1060s 1 1050 ti), I'm getting an average of 31.80. been running for about 16 hours, I'm at 5.5301 chc which equals almost 18 usd, at lates rate of 3.25 usd. holly shit, it's more than eth. that pump :O waiting for the dump  the dev was from 3,5 years this coin exist more than 2 years not active now all buy every shitcoin just because the masternode hype.. There is literary no value to this coins. The whales loaded up and there will be a bloodbath today.. Some have been saying this every day for a week now. Up 3796.13% during said week. The value is decided by the people, looks like there's enough people giving it value. Besides it's a very decent coin technically, all it needs now is to be updated with hard work and smart moves and it'll lift off like a rocket. We will see how the devs handle this... Time will tell. |

how can I back up my wallet?
I want to back up my wallet in kind of 12 words or something else I can write on paper (not tech solution).
Go to the debug console. Type in dumpprivkey "insertyouraddresshere" Write down that sequence and put it in a safe or something. If you need to recover your wallet... type in to the new wallets debug console importprivkey "yourprivatekeyhere" Granted, I think what you're saying is true, but we have an advantage here. This is Prisoner's Dilemma, writ large, but with a twist: we can all communicate with one another (in Prisoner's Dilemma, the prisoners cannot communicate). So we can say look, we're all going to HODL until at least $100.00 (this is what Max is saying on his channel). So in a way, it is market manipulation, but what is crazy is that it is probably legal, because cryptocurrencies are not yet regulated as well as real securities. So, I say HODL, invest coins in new masternodes and be patient.
Well the "real" markets are also manipulated and in much more terrifying ways so yeah, nothing illegal about that. |

I know everyone is shell-shocked because that is the standard pattern: pump-and-dump. But this is the new paradigm: pump-and-HODL. If you think about it, there isn't any reason that this can't work. Together we'll keep the coins scarce, everyone wins. This is like the Prisoner's Dilemma in game theory. As long as everyone HODL and doesn't act selfishly, we all win. "As long as everyone HODL and doesn't act selfishly, we all win." 1. People will act selfishly. You must remember that people aren't joining this to help others... They are joining this to make themselves some extra money. 2. We don't all win. That's nonsense. After a certain milestone has been reached, everyone will sell. And if everyone sells, that means the price goes down. That also means that the last ones to buy before the big dump will be losing a lot of money! 3. No one knows when the dump is going to come. It could be at $5 already.. or at $10. It could just aswell last till $100, but I'd highly doubt that. It's a good idea, but it's not waterproof. Regards, Trump True, but it might be that being able to get passive income from the masternodes prevents this to a great degree. Dumps will certainly occur, but it might be that no catastrophic dive gets to happen. I could sell my masternode now for 3 grand, but if i hold on to it it makes me hundred dollars a month and I still have the coin. I'd have to be certain it's gonna not only dive down in price but downright die to sell. Roli is working on a codebase update and said he is thinking about changing the block distribution to 35 mn/65 miner/0 dev. This is about to go viral. It is quite likely another exchange will pick CHC up... All things concidered I don't mind loosing my chance to cash out cause if this thing goes up I have a very well paying PASSIVE income. |

Watch HighOnCoins (Max), Chaincoin is special because (1) it allows masternodes and (2) there is a meme-style agreement that no one sells until the coin reaches $100.00 or more. What is amazing is it seems like it is working, everyone is complying so the coin is going up. This is kind of like the DOGE phenomenon. I love this, we nerdy types can HODL together and we make the price go up, slowly but surely. I follow him as well. Which is why i got into the coin. I am shooting for a masternode but started mining yesterday. Might set my Zcash rig up to mine CHC tonight. I have two nodes both on Amazon AWS, they're both t2.nano which is tantamount to renting Raspberry Pis from Amazon. I know I can combine them, but they're inexpensive, so I'm putting off the configuration hassles to combine them. One tip that may seem obvious to everyone, Chaincoin is a DASH fork, so you can get a lot of helpful information by looking at DASH-related posts. Oh BTW another tip: so I have two AWS t2.nano instances running Chaincoin daemon on Ubuntu 16.04, so it dawned on me that I want to copy the wallet.dat files to ensure that my coins are safe. So, I've copied both wallet.dat files to my Windows machine. Then it dawned on me: I installed Chaincoin-QT (Windows client) using the copied wallet.dat files, and voila! I can monitor the masternode earnings from Windows without having to SSH into the t2.nano instances. To make this easier, I have two windows shortcuts, one for each wallet file. You can specify which wallet.dat file to use with the -wallet command line parameter (e.g., F:\Chaincoin\chaincoin-0.9.2.4-win64\chaincoin-qt.exe -wallet=chaincoin2.dat) This exemplifies one of the big misnomers in Bitcoin: they should not have called it wallet.dat, because that implies that the wallet carries balances. IMHO they should have called it keyring.dat, because it really holds the private keys (the blockchain carries the balances). So what I'm doing here is copying my keyrings to my Windows machine. Actually chaincoin is a fork of zetacoin. Chaincoin was the first to use 11 hashing algos chained together. Dashes x11 is similar to chaincoins c11 the hashes are just in different order. |

I don't think it is worth mining now !
I hear you can pull 10 coins a day with an avarage rig, at a price of 0.50$ (which is less then what it is at the time i am writing this) you would pull 5 dollars a day, 150 dollars a month. So in my op8inion enough to profit slightly after the electricity costs. Compared to anything else it's not worth it, but if you think it might rise one day... why not. I'll point one good card at it for sure if price stays around about where it is now. Is it listed in any good exchange?
Not good really. Cryptopia has it and is alright I think. Works fine, wouldn't leave funds hanging in there any longer then I must though- I've no idea about the devs credibility. |

I suppose that price will fall down soon, so I sold my Masternode today. I bought my MN when CHC price was 10 times less, and have a good profit now. You're gonna be sorry when masternode holders earn your profit sum every month. :DD |
