41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: August 06, 2017, 02:06:49 PM
I have a speedup in the nist5 algo. Anybody interested?

Nist 5 Sp-mod #1 (unreleased beta) gtx 1070 53MHASH (18% faster than ccminer 2.1)

(ccminer 2.1 45 MHASH)

This new coin is very profitable with my miner.

Or this one:

Hi Sp_

How about profit compare with SIGT?

Hmm seems it doesn't work as smooth as sp#3.

Same settings but this time I'm getting "gpux: unspecified launch failure " after a short period of time.

Hope it will work more stable after I reduce the overclocking settings... but strange at all thought the settings couldn't stay the same.

@SP
Could you force a restart if an error occured like "gpux: unspecified launch failure "?
Right now it's an endless loop...
same here
how much was your memory ? mine was set to -450

gtx 1080ti aorus extreme
memory clock: - 500
core clock: + 120
TDP: 65%

all the same gpus' and it was working with sp#3.
guess I need to switch back to sp#3 need the restart function if an issue occured.

In sp#4 it's just an endless loop if an issue occured.
"gpux: unspecified launch failure "
"gpux: unspecified launch failure "
"gpux: unspecified launch failure "

What is your aorus hashrate? I can't oc over +60 core but in TDP 100% I have 48-49 Mh. #SP3

Yiim or Hashbag which are better now?  Huh

And how to POS? or just let it on the offline wallet.

PoS begins at block 94000

How does POS work then? We store the coins we mined and they grow or some crazy shit lol?

thxx

Kind of, you will get an interest of 5% annually.

Can I ask some question?
- Where I can store the coin? wallet in exchange? Software, hardware wallet? I kind of confused
- 5% paid by SIGT right? assume that I have 100SIGT and then end of year I will have 105SIGT. Am I correct?

Better to store SIGT on your desktop wallet and locked with encryption. Save backup locally too. Or sent to exchange protected by 2FA.
5% is PoS reward and no, for 100 SIGT you get 5 SIGT as PoS reward and for 1000 is 50 SIGT.

You won't get any PoS if you encrypt your wallet, it has to be open.

It has to be "open for staking", that is enough.

Thanks for your all infor.
So if I keep in exchange after PoS start a year. I will get 5%,right?

My 1060 3G     12.5 MH/s with OC Power limit 80/Core+150/Mem+500
1080TI Aorus   36 MH/s   with OC Power limit 100/Core+60/Mem+600

Is it normal or any recommend for more effective?

 Huh

I'm facing the problem about decrypt wallet on Window QT.
Failure to decrypt with the same passphrase I was created. I'm really sure the passphrase is correct.

Probably from my network not connect to yiim pool as well.
How to solve these?

Where are the best pool for SEA miners?  Huh

I'm looking at setting up some other region pools for hashbag.cc, so I'll add SEA to the list and I'll make a post in here if it eventuates.

At a glance, Singapore looks like a reasonable place for cryptocurrency operations and is reasonably central to the SEA region.
Sydney is another place that we could potentially host a pool, but I need to check that I'm not going to be stepping on any toes regarding the creation of cryptocurrency in the locations I'm looking at.

Good choice for Singapore. When it ready I can share information to Thai group.

Hi All,

I wonder what is the red command meaning?

ccminer-x64 -a tribus -o stratum+tcp://yiimp.ccminer.org:8533  -p donate --cpu-priority=3
pause

-p is the password for stratum pool you can make it antyyhing you like as it doesn't actually have a password - yiimp uses it for flags, so you can set your own difficulty, donate, set the coin you are mining etc

-p d=0.5,c=DNR,donate

will set 0.5 diff, coin as DNR (in case there are other tribus algo coins on there) and put you up for donation (which i think is 1%)

and --cpu-priority simply sets the miner's cpu priority so other threads don't slow it down if they use up CPU.

you can go to command line and type ccminer-x64 --help to see all the options

Thank you. I will look on help.
