43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should invest on ripple or litecoin ? on: May 25, 2018, 03:06:45 PM
Definately Ripple, although the price still is a bit high in my opinion. But for the long term i thin Ripple really has some value to add to the table.

45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a good idea? on: May 25, 2018, 02:49:31 PM
Bitcoin still is the best investment when it comes to cryptocurrencies, at least when you look at the risk side. Secondly keep in mind that the mass still hasnt adopted bitcoin yet, so when that happens price will rocket fast.

Still looks prety nice, but for some reason something is stopping me to invest in this. But i keep following it for sure

48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Pre ICO] Eroiy- The payment method of the adult industry. Anonymous & safe on: March 16, 2018, 04:02:23 AM
How is this different than other ico like vice

Hi,

Eroiy is unique because of its market positioning, the competence of the team in all relevant areas and the wide network of cooperation partners. The combination of typical blockchain properties such as security, anonymity and efficiency combined with connections to the adult entertainment industry enables unique synergies. Also, the possibility to integrate Eroiy into the own business segment makes clear that it can be extremely lucrative not only about B2C, but also in the B2B area. Above all, the presence of the team behind Eroiy at the major trade shows and panels (in the past and in the future) illustrates the transparency of the company and the traceable business plan, which is detailed described in the White Paper (available at www.eroiy.io), reveals the chances of success.
Well if that is the case, means this project is more capable to secure the cinfidenciality between the blockchain and partners. But not in the sense that it will hide all the detailed that should be know by both parties. Its still transparent to everyone since that they are true about their mission in this project. And that what makes it more interesting.

Well looks bigger then it is. For example, the partners they list: internext, avn expo and so on are just adult entertainment fairs. No point in mentioning those as every single person in the world can just buy a ticket or a stand to be on those fairs...

The other ones listed are mostly local (german) or small brands who nobody has ever heared of...only wasteland is a nice one, but that is only for a specific audience.

Inet cash is a long time adult payment processor though....but one that always is in a shady corner...not many sites use it...their support is terrible, their signup processs takes ages...have very bad experiences with them. Another thing that is kinda strange is that the problem you describe is being created by companies like inet cash, one of your own advisors...offcours i understand that they also need to comply to certain rules but still... and if you succeed you will kill the inetcash business model... so a bit of a weird combo

Also media partners and show partners...is basically the same as the fairs...those arent real partners in the meaning of them adding value to the project....in my opinion they are just listed to make it look bigger... like venus for example, thats again just a fair. traffic haus and traffic partners are just companies where you can buy adult visitors for your website....and so on.

Its a prety big team, but unfortunately not many of them have experience in the industry, i could only count 3 or 4 people, where the lady from camasutravr doesnt really count as that compnay has been created less then a year ago... the only big one again is the guy from wasteland.

and i do not mean it all bad, project does looks nice, but when you try to make things look better than they are alarm bells will ring in my head..

The TOKEN SALE has FINISHED

We proudly announce that PronCoin Token Sale has finished reaching the Hard Cap.

Thank You all who contributed and therefore helping us to realize our vision to bring in a new era, for the online adult industry.

Token distribution will start within 72 hours and all backers will be provided with exact instruction on how to claim PRON tokens.

Doesnt sound legit. No activity on all your social media channels, nor here on bitcointalk. Nobody talks about it anywhere....so i find it prety weird you have reached the hardcap.

Could you show proof of your partnerships with Penthouse, Playmen etc. If true, this is a big plus point for the success of your project, but one need some evidence, a simple claim of such important partnerships means nothing.

They are the owners of those brands. But it are tv channels, so not that big of a plus as online industry is totally different.

Sorry, but I really did not understand your answer. Can you please try to express yourself a bit better?

I mean that there are basically only two big names; penthouse tv and exxxtasy. All the partners they list make it look big but they are all from the same network see: http://exxxtasy.com/

And those are for most part tv platforms, meaning they broadcast porn on television. That is completely different then running a online porn website.

Secondly i have followed this ico and its mainly stuard runs the show. Havent seen the owner of penthouse in any of their communication channels, so it look penthouse is more for show.

but ok, the project looks ok, too many coins though in my opinion.

This project is pure money hunter.

People in charge who are involved with this project have zero experience working in the adult field.

RED FLAG!

We all come from adult online industry and most of us come with 15+ years of experience. Most of us from the team influence on adult online industry in one way or the other.

We're attending the biggest shows, doing business, talking and making things happen and right now we arein Vegas Internext from 19-23rd January, where all the big boys are and do business. We're also on AVN show that is going on right now and on 27th there's AVNawards.

Ask me anything related to adult online industry and I'm sure I know more than anyone since I've done pretty much everything in this business. So ask me anything! I dare you Smiley

ACTUALLY, AT THE SHOW IN VEGAS, WE GOT POSITIVE RESPONSES AND WE MADE SO MANY DEALS AND PARTNERSHIPS CONNECTED TO THIS PROJECT! SO STATING WE HAVE ZERO EXPERIENCE ONLY PROVES YOU ARE NOT FROM ADULT ONLINE BUSINESS Wink and that you're just trolling around.

Waiting for your questions or anything you want to know.

Regards

Zoran

Hi, well i do think its a valid question. When i read the whitepaper i can only read:

- Zoran Rehar: adult marketing and analysing how everything works (sounds a bit vague, no samples or detailed info whatsover)
- Yuu: adult designer, and photographer

Yuu, looks like someone who does add some value. Yes a designer isnt exactly a big thing in the industry to say the least, but i can see he has done some nice projects, and might add some value in the form of designing things and contacts he got over the years.

In addition you have 2 advisors with a bit of a vague connection (and lets be honest, an advisor just means adding someones picture to make the overall package look nicer)

- Lauren MacEwen: social media expert
- Brad Mitchell: hosting company

Uhm, well how do i say this without being an asshole.... Uhhh.. "hosting some adult sites" doesnt exactly qualify as experience in the adult industry lol. Its like saying: i watched some porn on pornhub last week, so i have experience in the business. It sounds more like you tried to make connections to the industry to make it sound nice.

Lauren does seem to have a link to the industry, but again a job that doesnt really qualify as that being a big deal. Sure, social media is part of the job as well, but not exactly a person who can get things done in the industry.

Still, not to be negative, some of the whitepaper really sounds interesting, but if the only one who has experience in the industru is "just" a designer and a "social media" guru, well... thats far from being an impressive team. Im basically missing real people from the industry, meaning, content producers, studios, famous pornstars...well people who are the industry, so not people with jobs that support them..

But as you mention everyone from the team has experience in the industry, maybe im missing something?
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SpankChain - First adult coin backed up by pornstars on: February 07, 2018, 02:53:42 AM
I like the setup of the whitepaper. Their system sounds really interesting although the different tokens are making it a bit difficult in my opinion which is a shame.

But to be able to become succesful its important to be backed by the industry. Their team is hugely disappointing on that area.

They have 23-year old Janice, but she is only active in the industry for just 4 years (nice for marketing things but far from being important to get things done in the industry).

And the only one other person who has experience in the industry is Kayden, which is a prety good name (not huge, but ok), but as i read in the whitepaper she is just a "brand ambassador," meaning she probably doesnt do much for the project besides popping up in some promo videos and stuff like that. But ok, maybe im seeing this wrong. And she might also have a few connections which is always handy.

And dont get me wrong i dont mean this in a bad way. Overall it looks like a great project, but some well connected people on different layers in the industry would have given it way more weight.

Hi,

You might reconsider using another domain name as livestars.io is violating .io terms of use:

No .IO domain may be used, directly or indirectly, for any purpose that is sexual or pornographic or that is against the statutory laws of any Nation. In the event of the Registry being advised by any party that a specific site breaches this condition then the Registry reserves the right to immediately deactivate the offending registration.

First time in heard about blockchain payments i immediatly thought it would implement so well into the already tokenized webcam business. Often heard complaints about the high share of costs on those platforms from models i know in real life. Was just waiting for a project like this to come along. Perfect realizable goal to achive, rather then project thats are going for space age technologies that can potentially run into so many problems on its roadmap and in adoption.

For the models you know in real life, what platform are they using?  Have you asked them for their opinion on this project and the potential for instant payment and 80% payout per session?  I would be interested in real-world model answers.

That's actually a very good point. I'd also like to know if the increase in payout per session really is something to sway models to join this webcam platform. I assume it is, but i can also assume payment isn't the most important aspect to consider when a model joins a webcam platform.

I think the biggest problem will be to keep them being active on the website. You can give 10.000% revenue but if there are no paying customers, models will leave in a split second. Sites like MFC have thousands of customers, that is wy so many models go there.

And getting customers will be the most difficult task (models you can hire at start) as 99% of normal people wont take the effort to pay with crypto if they can just go to mfc and watch for free....there should be some incentive for new users...
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO IS LIVE]⭐LIVE STARS ⭐ Revolutionizing Live Adult Entertainment on: January 18, 2018, 04:46:34 AM
What about price fluctations, how will livestars handle that? Lets say im a customer who buys 50usd worth of coins, i spend 10usd right away and then go to bed... meanwhile the livecoin price drops 50%, so when i wake up i dont have 40usd left, but i have only 20usd left....result i feel scammed.

Other example: im a model and i want to collect 100 coins before i start my show. i calculate this on a coin price of 0.10usd a coin, so 10usd to start my show. Then i do my show for half an hour, but in that time the price drops 50%, then instead of earning 10usd i only earned 5usd, minus the fees even less...result i will never visit the platform again.

How is this handled by livestars, will the coin prize be fixed each day and recalculated every 24hours or so, or will coin prize be calculated during buy/sell. If its the last, which im assuming is the case, then during weeks like this when all cryptos go down, people will get huge negative value for their money.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO IS LIVE]⭐LIVE STARS ⭐ Revolutionizing Live Adult Entertainment on: January 16, 2018, 08:42:43 PM
Wait, what? Partnerships with studios? Does that not contradict the mission of Live Stars to minimize the number of middlemen? If the studios are going to handle the transactions with the client and with the models, that kind of defeats the purpose. On the other hand I suppose it is not easy to find independent models anymore.

This is not how the industry works. Models are not working for a studio, they are working at the studio's platform (Only a handful of performers are under contract). 99% of all models work at various platforms at the same time to increase reveneu. They do not have any contract whatsoever, they just signup at a studios platform and use it, thats all.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]⭐LIVE STARS ⭐ Revolutionizing Live Adult Entertainment on: January 13, 2018, 02:52:41 AM
Looks promising but im worried a bit about the "revolutionizing" part. Webcam platforms like this have been around for ages, and are about to become obsolete. There are already thousands of websites who use tokens to tip performers, the only difference is that they dont use crypto. I do see potential in the performers revenue (although yours is still incredible huge), but not in the platform itself. A simple webcam site isnt much of a revolution..

You mention "no third party involved", but if customers want to tip models they have to buy your coins right? To buy your coins they have to buy btc and you need a third party for that. If you have your own system and if you want people to buy coins with creditcard or whatever you can not go around a third party. Can you please explain this a bit more, maybe i dont understand it correctlyy.

Also when i look at the team i cant find any info of experiences in the adult industry besides cammodel littleroxie. Do you have any connections in this industry? For me this is important to know as the adult industry isnt like any other industry...

If i understand the project well enough one of the real benefits is the efficiency of payment between the model and the viewers. Blockchain is most efficient in cutting out the middleman, for instance a payment doesn't have to go from you >> bank >> to whatever. I can't find it now, but they had an infograph showing the 'cut' the platform/3rd party usually takes with webcam platforms. Because of blockchain efficiency the models can get paid significantly more. Better paid models is higher quality models, they will prefer to work for Live Stars compared to other platforms of course. Better models = more interest from customers, etc.

I definitely see big advantages of using blockchain.

True, i agree deleting the middleman is always a good thing. But on the infographic i can see they ask for a 20% commission. Thats not cutting out the middleman, thats putting yourself as a middleman. I hope i see this percentage wrong, but that is what i read in the infographic.

Also delays in payments arent a "huge" thing in nowadays adult market. Customer deposits are instant 99% of the time. But indeed the payouts to the models normally have a waiting period due to chargebacks and stuff like that, so that indeed is a small improvement.

But although there are a few good things, the question you should ask yourself: will normal customers a) know how to buy bitcoin in the first place, b) know how to send that to an exchange and c) know how to convert those into livestar coins. Well i can tell you, 99% of all normal people wont do this ever. And even if they know how to do that, it will cost way more time then just depositing with your creditcard.

And again im not saying this to be negative, but i know the adult market, customers are most of the time horny - which means they dont have any patience - and those people are already leaving a site if they even hear the word "crypto" or "bitcoin". It will take decades before the mass will use things like this. And yes offcourse new ideas/tech is always good, and someone has to try, but still... there is a long long way to go
