41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What about privacy coin? on: April 28, 2022, 07:30:39 AM
I admit that privacy coins have decreased in popularity, but that doesn't mean they're over. As long as centralized systems are popular, privacy coins will always be needed. because there are still many people who want to be anonymous. so monero, zcash or dash will still be in the crypto market and still have a future.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About EOS on: April 27, 2022, 12:47:17 PM
EOS is game over, their network has been forgotten. the only reason why eos is still around today is because of the help from its community. developers don't really like this network, they prefer to use ethereum, BSC, solana, or polygon. eos is out of place so I doubt there will be any surprises from this project in the future. good projects in the past, but now meaningless.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's your take of NFTs? on: April 27, 2022, 04:38:01 AM
What's your take of NFTs?
NFT is a great breakthrough in the crypto field. NFT also paved the way for mainstream companies to enter the industry. since last year NFT has grown very rapidly, even according to data from opensea, the trading volume of NFT has reached 6 billion USD.

Do you think are a long term solution/investment or just hype??

although growing very rapidly, but NFT is not a viable type of investment. long term or short term, for me it will be very difficult to make a profit if the Hype of an NFT has faded. NFT is good, but not suitable for investment, you could say we can only get profit when the hype is still there, but after that the price of NFT will fall and you will not get anything.

45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is using 2fa safe in every way on: April 24, 2022, 09:10:39 AM
today I experienced an unexpected transaction from one of my wallets, all my assets were sold automatically, this is the first time I've experienced this, I didn't protect this wallet with a PIN and 2fa
can it be delayed after I use 2fa and PIN for all transactions?

for more details what wallet did you use at that time?
and are you sure it's the fault of the wallet you're using?
try to think again what you did before your wallet was hacked?

for example I use a mobile trustwallet, and I've never had a problem like yours even though my wallet is without 2FA. maybe you have tried swapping token dusting in your wallet? if yes, this might be the problem. next time don't care about any tokens in your wallet, unless you bought one. or do you know where the token came from.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Move-to-Earn (M2E) tokens on: April 23, 2022, 06:31:01 AM
Move-To-Earn is a novelty in the crypto industry. and if you look at the STEPN project, it looks like P2E with additional modifications. we must have NFT to be able to get GMT token. unlike games that are required to play to get tokens, on this platform we are required to jog to be able to earn income. I think it has a good ecosystem and it will be popular soon.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Can NFT be used as an investment? on: April 22, 2022, 11:07:15 AM
NFT is being discussed intensively, especially in my country, even many of my friends are buying NFT, so my question is, is NFT good for investment?

no, NFT is not suitable for investment whatever the reason. NFT is profitable when the NFT is still hype, but when the hype fades the value of the NFT will slowly go down. I've seen many cases like this, and that's why I don't think NFT is for investment. but if the question is about "is nft still profitable". I would confidently say that nft is profitable.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: airdrops never make money on: April 22, 2022, 07:36:33 AM
It's been more than 2 months since I joined the airdrop. and not a single token can make money. even though I have joined many airdrops. I joined the airdrop that was shared on twitter or the telegram channel and ended up in vain. I only got worthless tokens, dusting tokens, non-sellable NFTs, and what's worse there were several airdrops that required me to send a bnb for fee.

You're not alone I'm also experiencing the same thing as you. but the difference is I'm always grateful for what I get. I've been a hunter for airdrops, testnets, bounty campaigns for years. sometimes i join shit projects, but not the least what i do makes money. this is just about luck, so don't be pessimistic, maybe in the future you will find a good airdrop.

the most important thing is to always observe the airdrop you want to participate in, because this determines whether the reward you get can make money or not.
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is it bad to leave crypto on exchanges? on: April 21, 2022, 01:18:39 PM
I have most of mine on an exchange because I'm getting paid interest. Has there ever been a time when an exchange like Binance for example, steals your funds or gets hacked and people lost money?

there are such cases, and bitfinex is one of them. when the exchange was hacked, they only replaced 30% of the lost funds their users had. and it was a big case in the history of cryptocurrencies. that's why putting all your assets on the exchange is a bad thing. no system is secure, that's why we can't trust it even though they say that their platform has good security. because when your account is hacked, the exchange will not replace your lost assets. all errors will be passed to the user.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Using Crypto profits on: April 21, 2022, 09:44:32 AM
Guys, how do you use your crypto profits? Well I started investing in crypto last year but still to earn that much profits. How about you all?

every profit I get, I always use it for daily needs. and the rest I save (in the form of fiat). the goal if at any time the market crashes I can buy coins that are falling. many advised me to hold it in the form of stablecoins, but this way is not very good because I am always wary of hacking issues. so holding it in FIAT form is a safe choice in my opinion.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I think Defi and NFTs will be the most important elements in the cryptospace on: April 20, 2022, 11:58:29 AM
Defi and NFTs will not only be important elements in the cryptospace, I reckon Defi will be the main element that will serve as basic infrastructure for all digital items created in the cryptospace.

yes that would be important, but that's why there are a lot of shit projects in the cryptospace. there are many rugpull projects and on average they are defi projects. from 2020 until now there are countless, I don't even care anymore because too many defi scam projects are being released. The concept of decentralized finance is indeed very innovative, but this progress is being misused by those who only want to get money from investors. so the greatest potential of defi was never developed. in the end it will just be an innovation that doesn't really help.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana (SOL) vs Terra (LUNA) on: April 20, 2022, 07:48:40 AM
Would you rather buy Solana or Terra at this moment?

I love both. solana and terra are the coins I've been holding for the past year. This project is great and I'm sure in the future it will be too. last year solana was a surprise as it rose more than 1000% and that gives me confidence that in the future this coin will repeat it. and terra also have something in common, these two projects are the projects with the greatest potential after bitcoin and ethereum. That's why I confidently bought it.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some projects are fated to doom? on: April 19, 2022, 11:11:47 AM
Hi fellow Bitcointalknaires, to all this who have been here before me and those who have been investing in crypto for the past years have there been any cases of projects with a good hardworking team that give their best shots and yet the project still fails? Tell me one project that face this same fate.
there is, and it's not a little. there are many projects that have experienced teams who continue to actively develop their projects, but they are not popular and are forgotten. this may be a fact that hype plays a very big role in determining the success of this project. the most famous of which is EOS. this project used to be one of the coins at the top of the list, but now they are way down. even though their team is still working, they never return to where they used to be, as if this project was forgotten only their loyal holders are still holding on today.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Delisting of tokens will take place again on: April 18, 2022, 12:02:12 PM
Be prepared.

This is a warning to all of you running after meme coins, even if they get listed on top exchanges it doesn't mean they will survive for long, or have you forgotten that many projects got delisted from exchanges after the ICO craze of 2017? The same thing will happen once a tough bear market starts, so many meme coins won't be able to cope with the situation and many exchanges will be forced to delist the tokens.

but it doesn't apply to doge or shib, these two meme coins are the best of the best so it's impossible to delisting from the exchange. for other coins maybe, and it will suffer the same fate as the 2018 crash. the low volume coins will be delisted first. after that coins from the project shit, and coins that fell very deep also did not escape the delisting. So watch what you buy from now on.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How would crypto fare without centralized exchanges? on: April 18, 2022, 08:15:00 AM

What are your thoughts? Huh

one that I know is going to be very expensive. transaction fees will increase many times. without a centralized exchange, crypto will suffer a setback. and that will make the trust in crypto decrease. some might think DEX can solve that problem, but be aware that it takes a lot of processing to trade from different blockchains. and it will require a fee, different if we use CEX. and when all CEX is suspended, and crypto becomes illegal this will probably be the worst thing for crypto development.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How was last crypto bear market on: April 17, 2022, 09:32:24 AM
it feels so terrible, sometimes I even think crypto is over. I'm scared every time I look at the crypto market, I see that my portfolio is lose. If at that time I gave up and sold everything, I wouldn't be here today. maybe that choice will be the biggest regret of my whole life later. but if today the bear market starts, I won't be as pessimistic as I used to be. I will use this as another opportunity to build my portfolio. waiting for the next 2-3 years is no longer a problem for me, because I have experienced it in the past. the second time didn't scare me.
57  Economy / Economics / Re: Where should I invest? on: April 17, 2022, 02:43:53 AM
As a newbie in the crypto environment, with a keen interest in making a profitable investment in crypto, where would you best advice me to invest in 2022. Will an investment in bitcoin now still be profitable to me or investing in other coins is what you best advice? I understand that people are sometimes reserved as per not wanting to give financial advice to avoid being blamed if it goes wrong, but I will try to go through all the responses I can get and highlight the answers that are repeated for consideration.

for newbie, bitcoin is the most appropriate choice. the coin with the greatest potential in this market will give you a profit without having to make an overly complicated analysis. but before investing you should know, bitcoin is a long term investment. so you need time to be able to make profit, maybe 1-2 years you can just get a profit. I also always recommend bitcoin for those who are new to crypto and want to invest.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About Ethereum merge on: April 16, 2022, 12:39:50 PM
Can Ethereum lose its stand because of failing PoS merge? Vitalik wants PoS by force and that thing is just too buggy as hell, it seems whales are not in good mood about it as well, I just think that ETH can't make it without the PoW algorithm because this adds value to ETH a lot.

other networks can, why shouldn't ethereum use POS? this is a question for me sometimes. when they say bnb, solana, avalanche and Cardano are good platforms despite knowing even those networks use POS. and when ethereum wants to adopt POS many are against it arguing it will fail. the ethereum network is no longer special and everyone hates POS. but on the other hand they want the ethereum network to be faster and cheaper. Vitalik said when the ethereum network was upgraded it would solve the current problem. and I personally think there is no other way, we should accept this upgrade.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Desktop wallet vs Mobile wallet on: April 15, 2022, 09:35:39 AM
Between mobile and a desktop wallet which one do you prefer the most and why? Again I think desktop wallets have more open source wallets than mobile, which desktop wallet is the best open-source wallet that you know of?

mobile wallets are more flexible than desktop wallets. That's why I chose a mobile wallet, because it's easy to carry anywhere. and the mobile wallets that I use are safepal, trustwallet, metamask, and slope wallet. but if you ask which one is more secure, I think desktop wallets are more secure than mobile wallets which are more vulnerable to hacking.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoins or CBDCs? on: April 14, 2022, 11:13:27 AM
if you look at stablecoins and cbdc, they are not much different, the only difference is that cbdc is managed by the government. but I'm fed up with regulations, so I prefer stablecoins over cbdc. if cbdc goes into the crypto industry, it's not just me who disagrees maybe everyone in the crypto community will be against it. crypto is decentralized, and centralized systems especially government-run ones have no place here.
