41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: segwit2x price prediction on: November 05, 2017, 01:10:27 AM
I don’t have the right price on that poll option. I would like it lower than those on the choices. That is insanely huge dollars we’re talking about and that is I think exaggerated. Every fork coin should not even be have price for it was not heavily invested coins it was all airdrop that is dumped after every fork. Even Segwit2x is supported by miners and Coinbase this is nothing for me but shitcoin.
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 100.000 new coinbase users in 24 hours. on: November 04, 2017, 11:13:00 AM
I’ve come across this news:

https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-exchange-coinbase-adds-100000-users-in-24-hrs-shows-surging-interest-in-crypto

At first, I couldn’t believe it, 100.000 new users are a lot of users. The article says it is due to CME announcement but what I think as a result of it is that it is just the beginning of the next push. Unless some major unexpected event happens, we are on a bull market for a while.

Then the increases is legit with one of theses reason, more user, more investors and  more demands means bitcoin price increase and more bitcoin on hold. 10000 is a big number of account for a day then maybe Coinbase done a good job on marketing itself and most of this users/members might be from the American states as Coinbase is licensed there.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ***WHERE THE HELL IS MY BITCOIN GOLD*** on: November 04, 2017, 10:43:58 AM
Where is my bitcoin gold? Oh! I forgot that I don’t have bitcoin on the fork day. My bad I don’t support bitcoin gold as I don’t really needed shitcoins in my wallet. This is something annoying that someone is complaining for not getting free coin that might be just nothing significantly valuable after all. Be patience enough especially in this kind of free coin because the reason it’s free is for you to wait.
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Government. on: November 04, 2017, 09:37:37 AM
If the government your talking about is not corrupt and self centered individuals then this would work.. But knowing how government officials only thinks for profit of they’re own and not for the country then this just a waste of time for us on hoping that big positive result. I always give the government of each country a chance to prove we’re wrong.
45  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-11-03] Bitcoin Bull Tom Lee Cautious as Bitcoin Price Nears $7,500 on: November 04, 2017, 06:10:40 AM
The concern is legit, the surprising rally of increases this week might give a negative return for due time. Maybe he is wrong or overthink it, maybe I’m also wrong for agreeing to him but being cautious is the right thing a good investors must be prepared. Because as we all know that the fork is still coming and waiting to make a big impact to bitcoin.
46  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-11-02] Coinbase Added 100,000 Users in a Single Day on: November 04, 2017, 05:21:56 AM
I do used Coinbase when it is necessary but not on every transactions. This 100000 account must be divided by two or more that most bitcoin users might have made two or more Coinbase accounts. If it is verified account then that would be accurate but I doubt it is because you can verified for a day with a 100k Members account. Just pointing this out not on to offend Coinbase team. But still I’m happy that bitcoin popularity with Coinbase is booming.
47  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-11-03] Ukraine Drafts Law to Exempt Crypto Income and Profits from Taxatio on: November 03, 2017, 01:28:26 PM
Ive been dreaming of this kind of bill that must be pass on our lawmakers next year. Even we have no laws regarding taxation or legalisations of cryptocurrency in our country but to have this kind of exemption is a recognition of bitcoin is a big impact to the citizens and the investors. I’m curious of how bankers will react on this? Does they will shout and said it’s UNFAIR. That’s a good move from Ukraine taxation board I would assume that he/she is also a bitcoin believer.
48  Economy / Speculation / Re: Segwit2x in November on: November 03, 2017, 10:30:47 AM
What effect on price do you think this will have? Could we have similar crash as in July?

I have experienced two major hard fork as a bitcoin holder, both bitcoin cash and bitcoin gold. But honestly this time, I’m a more of a newbie when it comes to Segwit2x maybe because this silence kills my curiosity and my speculation on this time is not working as I’m totally confused of how it will be moving. It is widely supported by miners and exchanges but community is so silently observing only.
49  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin hits $7k!!! on: November 03, 2017, 08:28:24 AM
I’m not sure if 10000$ is possible this year, it is clearly reachable next year(2018). Then this Segwit2x fork also known as Bitcoin2x as I read about Coinbase announcements. I think the miners are supporting it, many exchanges are also but the community as whole is silent about it. I’m doubtful if I can totally support it but let see there still few weeks to go. I’m still positive about after fork increases.
I'm really annoyed by the way the segwit2x group has gone about this whole thing.  I'm tired of the high transaction fees, and I'm tired of how long it sometimes takes to get the first confirmation, so I think it would be nice to have a bigger block size.  But the way they're going about this, the divisions it's causing within the community, and the fact that they don't seem to care are just not acceptable.  They should be trying to work with the bitcoin core team and the rest of the community, rather than trying to circumvent it.

That’s a valid point there, as I said I’m doubtful about that area too. Even this Segwit2x is much more popular that the last two this shady that they don’t give prior announcements about the split and the community is not asking much about it. Some are even trying convince that bitcoin2x(Segwit2x) will replace bitcoin at that point. I won’t agree but I’m a little worried especially most high ranking are the one pushing this.

51  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin up Altcoin down | what is your trading strategy? on: November 03, 2017, 12:54:57 AM
Bitcoin prices are getting more expensive and the price of altcoin is getting lower.
For you altcoin traders, I want to know how the strategy you are using in the current situation. Let's share the experience here.
Your answer is greatly appreciated.  Wink

If you have altcoins in your position it’s either you hold it or sold it is in you discretion. If you hold and refused it wait until the price will increase and that is totally gor long term. If you sold them buy some bitcoin to have more free coins in this coming November 16th Segwit2x fork. This days as bitcoin movements increases, the better way to have profit is holding it.
52  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading Bitcoin and other alts still profitable? on: November 02, 2017, 01:59:26 PM
When I look at the market is not about trading that makes the fastest profitability but by HODLing bitcoin. We have seen it this past few days a high jump from 6000$ and now to 7300$ per bitcoin. If you have bitcoin in this time of the day you have more than the profit of a month in trading that’s for sure. But I don’t have no ideas with alts now as it not going pretty well, I think.
53  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Growing transaction volume in the Philippines on: November 02, 2017, 10:11:16 AM
Last week, it was reported that the Bitcoin transactions going in and out of the country has reached over $6 million, and now the Central bank of the Philippines will be issuing new guidelines regarding Bitcoin legality.

They gave no hint as to what their plans are, but officials from the Banko Sentral ng Pilipinas gave positive remarks, and even mentioned that cryptocurrency may help in the progress of the country.

That’s is even more great news than good. That country has the fastest adaptation as I’ve observed than any country in southeast Asian region and most in the whole Asian continent. As they have widespread Filipino overseas working mostly around the world the news of new technology of bitcoin can be easily be pass by one person to another. This is how they know and popularity is increasing faster.
54  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: IRS/tax question: Exchanging bitcoin cash for bitcoin? on: November 02, 2017, 06:36:11 AM
Any one has found a way to do it without tax implication?

Please share any ways to avoid being taxed for something which is not really an income or any kind of capitals gain.

If your intention is to be on prison then it’s your choice. If not, read stories and news on Press section doing the same mistakes that you are willing to take. Is it even worthy? You will gain saving on not paying appropriate taxes to be used in jail is the unpractical things every person would think. The government is mandated to regulated and implement the law and we are obliged to follow it.
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto is 247th Richest Person in The World on: November 02, 2017, 05:23:22 AM
I don’t think that is accurate, the bitcoin worth is not determined on its value when you’re HODLing it but on the time you sold it. I do believe that Satoshi Nakamoto will even dispose it even gradually because the price will eventually decrease and the bitcoin market cap will change. We can expect that it can’t be sold at this price but on the decreasing end or lower value. The more supply the prices will go down.

Vietnam Bans Bitcoin as Payment

The tittle itself is contradicting to its policy, then I look at the market and ask myself does anybody cares? I even wanted to answer it a little bit that’s not true because everything now is nothing but manifestation that cryptocurrency is not a sensitive investment that will react always on any banning news or regulation from any country. China fails to make a change then Vietnam, who’s next.

58  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New user bitcoin !? on: October 28, 2017, 01:23:23 PM
As a new user, can I start using Bitcoin without having to understand the technical details?

Welcome to bitcoin community only can advice you to be a responsible member and everyone is willing to guide you on this forum.

Bitcoin is not as complicated when your not touching much on its technicality. So you must need to learn first are the basic of it, a good wallet that is secured and be careful enough to avoid scam sites and harmful applications to your devices. A good wallet is subjective to each one but better provide hardware wallet if you can afford.
59  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Regulation in Kazakhastan on: October 27, 2017, 02:56:23 PM
Haven’t it obvious already, I’ve been reading some thread with this tone of discussion. Is this part of what we called “continued attacks” by them to give bad image to bitcoin. It is so annoyingly continuous and controversial because all of the sudden after nothing happens to other black propaganda, now they’re using a different approach. The central banks itself like in my country.  This will work? No and I’m confidence with that.
60  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Dark use of Bitcoin on: October 27, 2017, 12:12:34 PM
1) Are you used Bitcoin to buy illegal staff Huh

2) which better to buy legal things  Bitcoin or Normal Bank system (PP,payeer, cash ,.............)

First, I dont want to because it is against my principles in life but to be on that situation is something we can’t predict, we can’t be sure or even we don’t like it.

Second, most transaction with paper money/fiat isn’t much more untraceable because of no documentation, not like Blockchain. Most corrupt officials does it “bagman” thing. I hope most of us understand that.

This is not about what illegal used of bitcoin that others painted it to be but because they are insecure to what bitcoin has become.
