41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Established Altcoins or new potential coins this bullrun ? on: December 06, 2023, 03:03:25 PM
All altcoins cannot performed well in coming Bull run therefore we cannot agree that new coins will be able to give us good revenue. XRP, BNB, SOL, matic and ethereum are all good coins so instead of checking the activity of new coins try to save your money by investing in old one.
Bitcoin is most attractive coins among other crypto coins but people try to increase their investment in short time by diversification of investment in specific altcoins. Altcoins can offer you huge return but if you decide to buy more profitable coin and if someone invest in new coins which have no future then it will be difficult for you to take out revenue from it.
Indeed, instead of looking for another new altcoin why stick to the popular one. That is more profitable than new altcoins and we all know that not all new altcoins can follow the this coming bull. So for me and for the other who use this message as a guide or reference, I will go for the BNB, SOL, XRP, and Ethereum. I've been here since 2017 and I know Bitcoin since 2016 so why settle for less, right? If you want to earn then go for the Alts we said.

Also, invest at your own risk. No one push you to invest, it is for your greater good.
42  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Nakakabahalang balita mga kabayan. on: December 05, 2023, 09:50:10 PM

Cry Cry
maging Handa nalang tayo mate at maghanap ng alternative , meron pa namang maraming exchange and platform and yes,

Quote
MANILA, Philippines –

The SEC has requested assistance from other government agencies, namely the National Telecommunications Commission and the Department of Information and Communications Technology, to block access to Binance in the country.

43  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 05, 2023, 08:53:18 PM
Celtics might win in their next 5 games. Celtics have a lot of chance to get the 20 wins in this season and can even enter the playoffs again. They will dominate again the eastern conference this season and I hoping they enter again in Finals. I am a Celtics fan since 2007 and I am happy that they are still on the track to this day. I want them to be champion this season, but there's a lot of great team this season.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing altcoins now or during halving? on: December 05, 2023, 03:57:42 PM
I would wait until Bitcoin giving a certain bullish signal, because as far as I know, until now most altcoin are still depends on Bitcoin in term of price movement. Currently, Bitcoin price is moving in a good way, but I haven't see an assuring bullish signal. Tho there are some people that just speculate on altcoin even before the Bitcoin halving has effect on Bitcoin itself, but I think it's very risky.
Usually after bitcoin rises, altcoins rise. Especially since there has been an extended bear season for altcoins. Right now, most coins are at the bottom and I would buy it now. Because there will come a point where buying may be too late. Especially since there's not much time left before the halving.
Yes, I think this is the right time to buy since the market is mostly red right now. Buying altcoin now is the most right thing to do, this is the right time to invest. Once Bitcoin rise, altcoins will follow. That is very common since I started investing, but not all altcoin follows when Bitcoin rise. So be wise to pick the right altcoin and always accept the consequences.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ETH the King of Altcoins ? on: December 04, 2023, 05:24:31 PM
It is clear that bitcoin is known as the king of crypto market therefore second largest coins with greater percentage of success is known as ethereum so if bitcoin is a king of all crypto coins then it is also true that among altcoins ethereum is on top which is consider as a king among all altcoins as its rate of success is higher than that of other altcoins.
If someone hesitate to put money in altcoins due to disappearing nature so if they see the past of Ethereum then surely they will trust other altcoins too. There are large number of other successful altcoins but the position of Ethereum is not possible to be taken by any other altcoins same is the case with bitcoin as Ethereum is most successful coin among altcoins but it cannot obtain the value of bitcoin.
Exactly, we can consider Ethereum as the King of Altcoin. Ethereum is the second largest coin since I started like way back 2017, ETH is still the second coin in the ranking. Ethereum have a lot of potential, I think it will have a good run as long as Bitcoin is still moving forward. I will also agreed to you that Ethereum is the most successful altcoin. Yeah Ethereum will not gonna surpass Bitcoin even in a million years.
46  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be play with care on: December 04, 2023, 02:23:35 PM
Yes, not just gambling. It should be in every game we play we have to play it with care or maybe I should say play with more care with gambling. We should be responsible when we start to gamble. Just like the catalog of liquor company "drink moderately"  in gambling "play moderately", we don't have to risk all of our saving in gambling, play for the sake of fun and entertainment. Having extra care in gambling makes you a responsible gambler, you know your boundary and limitations. For all the gamblers around here, be responsible and have self control.
47  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Mga Artista Na Scam Ng Crypto Investment on: December 04, 2023, 07:32:18 AM
I mean on one hand, I couldn't blame these celebrities for venturing out and looking for other ways to make money besides shows and sponsorships, since di nga naman habang-buhay sikat ka unless timeless ka talaga sa showbiz, but at the same time, I feel like they're dumb, like on a whole new level. Bakit? Kasi the fact na nagpapauto pa rin sila sa mga ganitong modus operandi, kesyo ako magpapalago ng pera mo via crypto, when you can easily do that with a phone by yourself, mind you, is just appalling to me in so many ways.

Di ko alam if it's the lack of crypto education na nagdudulot para magpakatanga sila ng ganito and then be scammed in millions by the by, or talagang they just don't want to be accountable so pag di lumipad investments nila estafa case na. idk man.

Hi y'all! Thank you for all of your thoughts. I still have 1 question but this is a new topic, might create a thread tomorrow for that. I don't know if I am the only one who have questions like that. What if Bitcoin disappear in just one snap and so on. I still hope Bitcoin and Altcoin last, all of us here have a very big part in all of the coins around the market. I still have a lot of what if, and thread is still open for more thoughts.
50  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Tataas Kaya Ang Awareness Ng MgaTao Sa Bitcoin Kung May Mga Billboard on: December 01, 2023, 01:04:38 PM
51  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble because you don't have sufficient money? on: November 30, 2023, 05:56:23 PM
No, I don't gamble if I don't have enough money. I only gamble if I have a extra money, I prioritize my bills first and then If I have an extra money, then I want to have fun then I play in online casinos. Nowadays it is very easy to gamble, you don't need to go to casinos to gamble. Even if you are at home you can gamble, but be sure that you are responsible and you have self control. Don't play if you don't have enough money, don't risk it in gambling.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to keep your money in bank? on: November 30, 2023, 04:33:00 PM
I think the bank is a safe place to store our money there. Of course, we have to choose a bank that has a good reputation and has been legalized or recognized by the state. Even though there are also banks that have a good reputation but are not under the auspices of the state, we also should not completely trust them because at any time there could be fraud or loss of money, so we cannot sue them.
Yes, bank is still safe place to store or save your money. All my money are in bank, bank put a good reputation since then, but some of us know that sometimes, bank is you know what I mean. Still bank is still a good place to store your money. Even if hackers hack banks, we still have a chance to get back our money. Banks have to give back our money and that is not the same with crypto if hackers hack your account, it is gone, you cannot retrieve it.

53  Other / Archival / Re: Wearing Bitcoin Clothing in Public on: November 30, 2023, 03:24:23 PM
Has anyone ever tried wearing a Bitcoin clothing in public? I wore mine to an event earlier this week and noticed that most of the young age people were looking at it. One person even asked me if I owned a Bitcoin(which I've answered him ). It just popped into my mind that is it making myself vulnerable to bad people? We are aware that we should keep quiet if we own Bitcoin because of the risk that someone will hurt us or target us so that they could get our Bitcoin.

You have a cool Shirt mate, have you the one designed that? or just a purchase from store or some bitcoin loving designer because I really love white shirt with simple print on it  so maybe now I have Idea what kind of shirt i am going to send to the clothing shop(Is it OK if i copy your design?)

I have seen some design Online but most have big Logos of Bitcoin that for me is exaggerating , am not a fan of those type of shirt  and also I wanted to have it as Hood so there is 2 version that I am planning but with different design of course.

Before, I thought about putting Bitcoin and crypto marks in my house but I didn't because maintaining my privacy, especially about bitcoin is better. The same thing happened to my earlier plans of having shirts and caps with bitcoin markings. So far I only have a tiny bitcoin logo on my phone and laptop.
Seriously ? you have the same as mine? yeah Infront of my Computer there is a Bitcoin Logo and yes in back of my Mobile phone there is a Big Bitcoin Logo that can be noticed because of its color gold  Grin

Maybe in modern and open countries, this is not a problem. But lately, in my country, our government has been trying to emulate what the US is doing including Binance. Tax analysis computations are still in process. Living in a very corrupt country, I prefer to just stay private.
In my Provincial visit last year(somewhere in our Summer capital) have seen a couple(Husband and Wife) wearing Ethereum Shirt though this is not a Bitcoin but at least they are proud wearing cryptocurrency that I believe almost have same approach as Ethereum is the highest ranking altcoin.
Wow, I have the same shirt as well. But I already cut the sleeves, I gain weight that's why I remove the sleeves and to look like Sando. I bought mine way back 2017 and now I often wear this these days, because every time I wear this. Some people ask me about Bitcoin, they ask if Bitcoin is real and how will you earn from this, and etc. I had 3 shirt with the print of BTC and but I misplaced the 2 and the one left is the 1st one I bought.
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What happen if Bitcoin shutdown? on: November 29, 2023, 06:21:34 PM
I am just wondering, what will happen if Bitcoin shutdown? Will the market crash? How about the effect of this to altcoins? Can government shutdown Bitcoin? I have a lot of question about this matter, because who knows, right? Also, how about hackers shutdown Bitcoin? What are your thought here? Let's discuss this.
55  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips on staying responsible. on: November 29, 2023, 05:01:10 PM
~snip~
It's what you should do when gambling and also on the other hand it's the only action you can take if you don't want to experience a lot of problems or downturns as a result of the gambling you do. Having full responsibility for whatever happens will be very useful for results that will not make you disappointed or that means if you are a responsible gambler then from the beginning you have agreed with yourself for whatever the result is, especially defeat you will be able to accept it and also besides that the benefits of having responsibility then I think you will not act out of control, because usually out of control behavior will arise when you cannot accept the results of defeat.

I think for people who lose responsibility it's because they can't be strict in setting their boundaries so over time they get carried away unconsciously and end up experiencing emotions that make them behave out of control. Of course, all of this negligence occurs because they cannot resist all the temptations that look tempting when in fact it is just a trap from the casino so that you keep playing and end up losing like other gamblers. Good responsibility and understanding the correct concept of luck will make your interest less significant in seeing the chances of winning, with that then I think you will have no trouble implementing prevention.
Indeed, that is what we should do to be responsible while we are gambling and to reduce a large number of losses because many people have experienced this, and we have to prevent it from happening to us. Practising responsibility is a must for all gamblers so that we can reduce the risk of losing money and also have better self-control. We don't need to follow other people's bad experiences because we don't want to experience them and can study other people's experiences to avoid them. By being responsible gamblers, we continue to learn to use the limits we set to keep us from gambling excessively so that we can enjoy gambling well.

People who lose responsibility will experience a lot of losses and maybe in a row because they cannot control themselves and their emotions, which makes them even more eager to gamble and to win some money. Actually, if they have won, they can leave gambling by withdrawing their money and resting for some time. But the reality is that they forget about that and instead continue gambling while hoping that the next round will be another big win for them. But that's a dream that won't come true that day because all the money has been used without giving any winnings.

Yes, although being responsible for gambling is difficult to do, but they should have done it because then they will not experience many losses that everyone does not want to happen. Other people's bad experiences do not need to be followed but enough to be used as lessons for us to apply so that we can avoid it, so that it can also minimize the risks involved in gambling. And it should be gambling responsibly without giving up many more useful things by not gambling excessively is one of the responsible things.
Yes that's right, there will be many things that he forgot and also harmed themselves. What I wonder is that most of those who gamble irresponsibly do not think about the losses that have occurred, so they continue to gamble even though they lose and lose. I appreciate the enthusiasm they have, but this enthusiasm they have, can harm them themselves. Excessive expectations that make them chase big wins that are not obtained even difficult. So the fault lies with themselves not with the gambling.
Yes, and know your limit. Gambling is avoidable, let your loses be your lesson. Don't risk everything you have, save for yourself or for your family. Not everyday is lucky in gambling, you maybe won today, but maybe not tomorrow. I also gambled and I have limitations, I will bring $20 to bet, if I win then lucky and if my $20 lose then stop. That's how I control myself in gambling and even before that I make sure that I already save money and pay all my bills. Just gamble for fun, don't do it for a living.

Ako freelancer ako since 2020 noong pumutok ang pandemic.

57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Altcoins on: November 28, 2023, 09:09:20 PM
Yeah alt coin are good but you can't compare it with btc. Bcus Btc is like the mother of alt coin
So no matter what btc coin still remains tha best...
Actually in this case it is a ridiculous situation if we still have to continue to compare bitcoin with altcoins because in the end the comparison can be made if what we are comparing is equivalent. As for bitcoin and altcoin, there is no equality in it so why continue to be compared because in the end we all know which one is the best.
Comparisons like this will only make altcoins worse but I also don't really care about it because I'm not in it for now even though at the beginning I was in crypto I was in altcoins but my focus now will only remain on bitcoin.
But indeed seeing from the OP who is indeed new (possibly because the account is a beginner) I still think this is very reasonable to be asked by them but the answer must also be clear that bitcoin is still bitcoin and it cannot be compared to altcoins.
Exactly, stop comparing bitcoin to altcoins. This comparison should stop. We all know that Bitcoin will be the top coin ever. Altcoins is just the second option, if you want to start investing in bitcoin then go for it, but if you feel that Altcoin will give you a good profit then for Alts. No need to compare just invest and earn.

Yeah, if he really a beginner then we accept it, but if he's here for too long then stop.
58  Local / Pamilihan / Re: BINANCE Funding on: November 28, 2023, 07:46:50 PM
59  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Mga Artista Na Scam Ng Crypto Investment on: November 28, 2023, 03:18:40 PM

60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hodling vs trading on: November 28, 2023, 01:23:03 PM
Quote
1. The use of wallets to store Bitcoin.
2. For both trading or hodling to be possible you must own Bitcoin. Although trading requires a minimum amount of coins, holding does not.
3. Both require you to understand how to secure your coins to avoid hacks or loss of funds.
A secure wallet is of course essential for investing in Bitcoin.
When you buy Bitcoin the first thing you need is a secure wallet where your funds will be kept safe.
Money is the most important thing you must have for trading and investing, without money you can never invest. So for holding and trading or investing you need to save money first and buy bitcoins later. Then if you have bitcoins you can hold them for a long time and profit from them in the future.
When storing your bitcoins in a secure wallet, you must store them in a hardware or software wallet. Your bitcoins will be safe when you use these wallets. Moreover, if you want to keep your funds safe, you must keep your wallet keys in a safe place so that there is no chance of being hacked.

I do both. I think both come in handy but it depends on how strategic you could make it be. I hold for a long-term future. Then trade to gain some profit. In the process of trading and maybe the market seems to be volatile I usually use Dual Investment to get it done in other not to risk it
Yes, like you I do the both. I am holding and the same time trading. If I am confident with the coins I hold it for a long time then do a short trade with the other coins. I do hold BNB before and trade some alts like Ros, Sol, Ata and etc. Just set up Buy and sell, everything is well handled and easy transaction. then if I earn from the other alts I invested it on BNB and hold it.
