I think we even cant imagine what VR will be like in lets say 5 years. There are ideas now and we think thats impossible or we just make fun of it. But there will be a time (children from my children) that will be living most of there time in VR. Its sounds scary but look what happened with using our smarthphone/tables... I've been following this for a few days from the shadows , I am a little skeptical but you guys ( devs ) have to understand that skepticism is completely normal as we have to be when we invest our money into something . Anyway project looks good , solid ! I like the fact that you have a quick response to questions , either positive or negativie , this is something that we need , the vibehub team to be active to close the gap between the project and us investors . The beta is also a huge plus as most projects go into crowdfundings without having anything to show for it , so congrats.
Keep up the good work ! And I hope you will do well on raising our investments to x10 , x50 , all of us have only to benefit from this.

Exactly. Just because he isn't wearing a shirt and suit doesn't mean he looks shady. If you listened to the whole interview, you would hear that the main points of the project are articulated clearly.
Personally, the point in the interview that excites me most is the mention of photorealistic people being shown in the VR space. I previously imagined the graphics quality being similar to recent games (ie. quite detailed, but quite obvious that it is a lifeless computer rendering).
That is an excellent point!... we believe that is a key part of our model...the photorealistic performances by actual major recording artist, comedians, public figures...will not only be revolutionary, but will draw many mainstream non crypto ppl in...Eventually when the cameras that we use to capture these performances become cheaper and more portable (consumer friendly), users will be able to stream or create on demand content in this format, and monetize on it with the vibe currency. Not to mention this content will be compatible with future AR devices as well...Which we believe both will have their place...there are situations where full immersion is prefered and situations where awareness of your surroundings is preferred...We plan on being in a pivotal position, possessing tons of quality content with an existing brand, to meet the future mass adoption of these technologies... |

Interested in finansial side of this project. I mean there is 4410 ETH invested atm, its about 1.4million usd at todays prices. Lets assume you will get something about 2.5-3.5 million invested. Isn't it a very small financial background for such ambitiuos project, with those plans to hire more developers etc.?
Hello, how do you figure that? 500k for AR facility...1m will support 10-15 new employees salaries per year...that would leave 1-2m for booking major acts to capture in AR facility and promotional and marketing of such events...at which point we should start to see revenue from these events as well as from sponsorships, and virtual assets sales. That is just assuming we only raise 3.5....there is still a little over 2 weeks left...and we are fully motivated... |

I can't say I'm not a bit disappointed when in your whitepaper you claim: ... If you are really the best, I would rather see only in-house material and none of the stock art. we bought one model from the same 3d model store as another non-blockchian app (big screen - which is also a beta app) and paid for legally...when we were first prototyping (remember this is a beta)...we have also created many other scenes on top of that...what's the difference between hiring a new artist to create models... and paying a freelancer to create models?...we have in roadmap to expand team for 3d modelers and animators...man i hate FUD...we said VR artist and programmers, which we do...we are the programmers, and we have access to some of the best artists in the game...for example the person that created that one model you are talking about is very talented...and we are trying to woo that artist for our team full time instead of freelance...as well as other artists and engineers...etc...thank you |

Thank you for answering my question so fast! Don't get me wrong, as a fan of VR I want to see Vibehub succeed because VR needs more applications and innovation. It was just a bit weird for me to see these environments being the same, especially after identifying Looq as a straight up scam. I'm not a developer at all so I'm not sure about sharing 3d models and purchasing stock pieces, but I will take your word for it. At the same time, I think I will end up passing on the ICO because I am still a bit hesitant. I will continue to follow this project though and may buy coins later on.

I just posted in here a few hours ago because I was pretty excited about VibeHub and seriously thinking about contributing to the token sale. I have recently discovered a huge red flag and I would like an answer from the project owners because it is a serious subject. After discovering the LOOQ Vr scam earlier today, it made we want to research Vibehub a little more in-depth. I have always been impressed with Vibehub's development and their demos in their videos, so I was confident in the team. I own an Oculus Rift and use VR personally, so in my research I wanted to find other apps that might possibly be like VibeHub. I discovered one app called Bigscreen Beta which let's users share experiences in environments, and it came out much earlier than Vibehub plus has investors. I downloaded Bigscreen to test it out and I was shocked when I realized that one of Vibehub's environment is exactly a copy of BigScreen's environment with a couple slight changes. I have included a couple of side/side comparisons below so you can see what I mean. I am hoping there is a good answer for this because I wanted Vibehub to be legit. I am big fan of VR and Vibehub is the only VR crypto I am exicted about right now since Spectiv delayed and I couldn't get into the Decentraland token sale.

I was pretty shocked when I discovered this tonight. I was just testing VR apps that seemed to be Vibehub competitors and when I saw this I was reminded of the Vibehub video. Take this for what you want, but it definitely scares me. I do think Vibehub has done a lot of work on their interface and such, but if they copied this, I don't know what else could be copied.

As far as linkedIn I created one when it first came out...but never had a need to use it...I have been developing for 20 yrs now, across every programming language you can think of. The last couple of years i have been heavy in non crypto VR game development for a major resort and casino brand who have just been approved gaming licenses in several countries...and are currently about to launch for real money casino games. i still get email of ppl asking to join my network...but i have not logged in since i created Alot of good developers are pretty reclusive and anti social...speaking from experiences...we work behind the scenes and have no need for linkedln accounts to acquire work...the developers on the team were brought over from our last project 3yr vr project for a major resort and casino brand... fred another senior developer, on top of that has done vr experiences for budlight and ford as well...Better than past work we have provided with current work from this project...have you seen the VR beta on oculus or the web beta on our website?... |

Virtual reality is a small niche market, as of now. I simply don't think theres enough end users at the moment, to build a working community platform. This startup is good, but way too advanced, and ahead of it's time, to grab the average consumer. Virtual reality is new, and very strange to the casual enthusiast.
I'm psyched, to be honest, this is everything I dreamed of as a kid, but I don't see the V.R market taking off, in a mainstream direction, especially with its current affordability, for another few years. I will continue to follow this project closely though!
We are in it for the long run...if you believe that VR/AR will be mainstream within a few years time...then you would probably agree, that if we want a good foot hold in this space...we have to start now...before everyone moves to these new devices...with longevity in mind we have to stay ahead of the times... |

I'm wondering why you're not aiming for a large coin supply, useful for micropayments. I mean, if I need a paid lesson and teacher is asking for $10/hour is not better to pay let's say 10 tokens instead of 0.001 for example? I'm thinking long term, if demand will be huge 1 token is not gonna be worth only $1
Tbh I don't see the problem. The most important thing for microtransactions is that there is no transaction fee and their project offers that. For me it wouldnt matter if I pay 10 tokens or 0.001. Where did you read this zero fees thing? If they develop on ethereum blockchain you need to pay gas to send tokens. Its stated in the opening post. I already asked how the can provide these no-fee-transactions but sadly got no answer yet. sorry, this has been answered several times...we don't charge any fees to transfer...yes there is gas from ethereum, miners receive that not us...and in the future when ethereum upgrades to lighting/plasma, that will surely lower gas and speed up transactions from 20/sec to 1million/sec |

But dating in VR is a bit too far for me. I find that people are already alienated enough, they need more of the old fashioned stuff.
They are not here to solve social problems, they are just acting on markets need. If they need to alienate more, so give them what they want. If you do a project for prevent people to alienate that would fail, because market doesn't want it. Vibehub will definetly give what customers want  And customers always right . Is this a multi national team? In which country the servers will be? I imagine you will need a lot of hardware power to run this platforms. Btw this reminds me of the new move by Spielberg called Ready Player One, which is about VR technology also, maybe you will get some ideas when it comes out in 2018.  you would actually be surprised, not that much, most is decentralized/p2p the way we are building...the payment system is decentralized thru our vibe currency, the voice chat and body tracking are peer to peer (p2p)...there are a couple websocket servers for initial connections that can handle high loads, and multi geographically located cloud storage for digital and virtual assets, as well as static front end...If we can get storage decentralized in the future we can be 99% decentralized...we will look out for viable solution for that...or maybe build one one day...lol |

Microsoft and big companies are focused on hardware. They are pleading for applications like VibeHub to come along and create an amazing platform. Think of VR/AR technology like an iphone 7 years ago. You have this piece of hardware that's amazing but you need applications to make it mass adopted. All of the big players have spent billions of dollars to prepare for the coming virtual world and they are ready to start making deals with applications like VibeHub to be featured on their platform. in addition to hardware, they want to control the operating system(think IOS or Windows) and the platform to distribute the apps (think apple app store or google play)...Which gives a great opportunity to partner with all them and make sure our platform is on all the leading hardware platforms... |
