About master node amount, I think 50k SWIPP is a large amount and everyone will not willing to buy if the price high.
Just imagine if SWIPP price is $1/coin, everyone will be afraid to pay $50,000 for 1 MN.
So I think 20,000 SWIPP or 10,000 SWIPP/MN will better and more people will willing to buy, and then the price will up quickly.
Hello. With the max supply we are setting, it might even go higher than that eventually. As the currency evolves, they will get more expensive for sure. If we break it down; 10.000 SWIPP collateral = 1400 nodes maximum 20.000 SWIPP collateral = 700 nodes maximum 30.000 SWIPP collateral = 466 nodes maximum 50.000 SWIPP collateral = 280 nodes maximum We don't want too many masternodes - as it diminishes payments. Maybe we can do a compromise here and go for 30.000 in collateral. That would keep the maximum number of masternodes under 500. What does everybody think ? Yours, team swipp Yes, I think 30.000 in collateral is better than 50.000 And if SWIPP has a real product or an excited project, more people will be willing to buy some nodes |

Greetings everybody!
Seeing as the original author of SWIPP unloaded most of his coins and deleted the Github repository for the project, we are officially taking over this project.
At this time, we are working on a updated wallet/daemon and a proper project website.
There will be a few changes to the PoW/PoS payout scheme after block 90 000, while the total supply of the coin will be dramatically decreased.
We will post a link to a new ANN thread in the coming days... This post is just to let everybody know.
We look forward seeing you in the coming SWIPP journey - for real this time!

hey guys i start mining swipp on lpool with my swipp address. pool finds block but on my wallet address on /wallet page see none of blocks. is there any additional config on lpool?
Do you see miner hashing if you enter your wallet. Also did you use c=xxx paramter? yes i did it. wallet address is from my -qt and also use -p as c=SWP https://lpool.name/?address=SWSbKujkcG1Le3BftTfHPc6CVcfpTN4Pspi run my asic about 2 hours lpool finds lots of swipp blocks but i can not take share. you can also see my hashrate on graph too. But, DEV is too silent...please DEV more!
SWIPP is a wonderful coin.
But, PR is too weak.

What is the average amount of daily reward? Could anyone share a rough number for me? I made a back of the envelope calculation and it does not seem to be as profitable as other existing masternode coins.
I had some 100k and staking reward are about 400 - 450 coins/day (~0.4%/day) I think it is a good interest ~ 144% - 150% / year  And I had a big surprise when I sent coin, the speed very very fast. When I press send, my other wallet received it immediately I really like this coin and hope it successfully I wish it had a PoW Masternode It had Swippnode (like Masternode) and reward around 72 - 86 coins/day/Swippnode |

Can I create multiple master node on 1 machine with different ports?
Yes you can. And in the case I store my coins in a local machine, then I create masternode in another VPS. When this VPS been hacked, what happens with 20000 coins? (stolen or still safe in my local wallet)
Just don't forget to encrypt your wallet What will I configure in swipp.conf when create multiple swippnode. For example: I will create 02 swippnode and swipp.conf file look like that, right? port=24055
masternode=1
masternodeaddr=XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:24055
port=24066
masternodeaddr=XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:24066 What if I'm staking, then I create swippnode and my wallet will not staking anymore? Because I see "staking=0" when I press "Get config" |

1) Start the wallet, go to “SwippNodes” menu item, and you will be presented with all running masternodes. 2) Click on “My SwippNodes” tab, then click on “Create” button to start creating your masternode. 3) A window will popup. Name your masternode in “Alias” field. In “Address” field type your external address:port 4) Click on button “Copy Address” and send 20000 SWP to that address. Wait 1 conformation then proceed with setup. Collateral address is your own address. 5) Go back to “SwippNodes” menu, select your Swipp masternode and click button “Get Config”. 6) You must create a file named swipp.conf. Yeah that's what I think too... It took me a long time to acquire the knowledge I have. I've seen / dealt with many trolls during my stay on the internet... these guys are just butthurt that they bought the top of something that another "legendary" account sold them on.
