41  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Technobit products News,Updates,Support - SELF MODERATED on: January 27, 2014, 11:02:51 AM
I was hoping this could be a thread with information about new products and updates on software and perhaps some guides. But too bad, it's already cluttered with people asking about existing orders.
Can't that be moved back to the thread about the actual product?

With all due respect there is much outstanding business to be dealt with that has not been dealt with in those threads.

Edit :  Martin is more than welcome to remove my posts once he has provided my tracking number, to reduce the clutter in the thread.

EXACTLY,

Marto can I pretty please have a status on my order KKCKPSKWR
42  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Technobit.eu SCAM ALERT (Fraud, Scam, No Refund, wrong promises) on: January 27, 2014, 10:56:21 AM
My Order is ~3 months late as well. Marto told me 3 weeks. His site says product is in stock, he then says, no there's a queue that must be filled for this batch to be produced & thats after he said, your units are in assembly. All the while PM's and emails go unanswered while at the same time you get emails & new threads about new products when your month late 2 months late order hasn't been updated since you paid.

FYI this is absolutely how service providers are NOT supposed to act.

If you feel compelled to order from Technobit do your self a huge favor and use Paypal. Its a damn shame that Marto's customers have to sit and wait or chase him on the forums to get what they paid for. Is Marto a talented EE, Yes he is. Does that excuse the fact that Marto is running his business like a slum lord, No it doesn't.
43  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit HEX8A1 - 6/8 chip Coincraft A1 board on: January 26, 2014, 10:45:39 AM
I'm usualy ok and understanding.
And I would do it soon in amy other case

But in this case he is using unpropriate language and made a lot posts here

Trying to traten me with negative posting.
My best option is to refund ASAP to make him shut.
I'm not going to. After all this bitching he'll wait.

Doesn't matter if the guy is a complete asshole. Pay em if you owe him problem solved. This community doesn't really need more companies that act in an unprofessional manner. Who cares what words he uses. If you owe him pay em. Problem resolved. Then you can get back to building products that work. I respect the work you do Marto74... how about we can get back to focusing only on that. Pay this guy and move on that way we can see working A1 miners in the wild faster. Don't waste time firefighting this stuff let the other crap companies play that game.

I have an order that has yet to be fulfilled by Marto & team. 3 months late on a supposed 3 week turnaround.
No matter the situation or how the customer acts his message above demonstrates his customer service. I haven't cursed Marto/Technobit, He still ignores me, And when he does say something in regard to my or other orders that are just as late or later (going on 4 months for some) than mine it ends up being a broken promise. As far as I'm concerned my money is gone, the worst part is that Marto has wasted my time. No one should have to follow him around on the forum to get the equipment that they paid for within a time frame that Marto himself has set for delivery.

Bicknellski, I wish I knew about the hive project before I sent my chips to Marto/Technobit. He's a seemingly awesome EE, but he definitely needs help on the business front.

45  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Technobit.eu / Marto74 BFL-Style SCAMMER on: January 22, 2014, 10:57:32 AM
I just left Marto some negative feedback as well.

Marto/Technobit Seems to have been a good place to buy from in the past as some customers have received their orders but his recent actions totally negate his past accomplishments. He is taking payments for products which he plans to deliver late or worst not at all.
I have an order that has been open from 10/2013 that he still hasn't delivered. 3 MONTHS LATE ON A 3 WEEK DELIVERY TIMEFRAME! They're are even orders from 9/2013 which he still hasn't delivered DO NOT SEND THEM YOUR COINS!!!

READ PAGES 31-39 for his excuse pattern https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=212031.600

OP is correct "In short; STAY AWAY FROM TECHNOBITS; THEY WILL EITHER STRAIGHT UP STEAL YOUR MONEY, OR SEND YOU A MINER MONTHS AFTER ITS EXPECTED AND NO WHERE NEAR ROI"

SMH this sucks....

48  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: TechnoBit Eastern Europe, BG HEX16A 7 GH/s/Платки имонтаж на Авалон чип on: January 16, 2014, 11:08:00 AM
Turnaround 2-3 weeks.
The can bus worked but with problems  so it's removed in the firmware.
PSU is your choice , you need roughly about 100 W per board\

Dear, firends,
We shipped out today most of early December Hex16a2 (c) and Hex16b orders.
Unfortunately we were not able to shipout all of the December orders yet.
We'll continue shipping on 30-th of December , but most probably there still be some late December orders that will be left for shipping in the 1-st week of January.
Hex16A ( avalon gen1) We did send out part of the last batch orders. There are some orders that will be out in the 1-st week of January too.
Nanofuries We send some orders today  and due to some production delays , there are still orders that are late.
We are scheduling production in the first days of January
All customers with faulty units Just return them to sending addres and We'll send you replacement/repaired unit .
All DPD sendings can be tracked in our Local representative's page here http://www.speedy.bg/begin.php?page=web_Tracking&lang=en
Wishing you Happy new year.
Technobit team

I understand you frustration, but please do understand that all last hex16a (avalon1) orders were to be combined in 1 batch on PCB and PnP house.
It is not possible to be produced in batches of 2 or 7 or 15 pcs, or it is going to be too expensive.
On the side of customer support We have a lot to improve and We are going to.
Again We are sorry for the terrible customer service that We did or did not provide you.
We are thinking of some kind of present for all of you that will have orders shipped late.

We wish you Merry Christmas and happy new year

Martin

It is a fact and I'll try to make it up to you personally first ting on 3-rd of January.

Same here, no info. I'm happy someone got some their miners. IDK what Marto & team are doing,
but his actions ,or lack of actions, are showing a total disrespect for his customer base.

Glad to see it's hashing.  Now that it's doing that but only with three blades, I've only seen this under a few circumstances:

1)  Powersupply is too weak, regardless of what the numbers say (some are sensitive to initial draw, etc)
2)  Some blades aren't seated properly and/or are running too hot - if you haven't already, open it up, tighten the heatsink screws and reseat the blades solidly.
3)  (rarely) Cube is simply "confused" and clicking on the Update button on bottom right can restart it

thanks.

Heatsinks are screwed tight, None of my blades were in the grooves of the case, two weren't seated properly. I think it might be the PSU - it's a 550w corsair, i just pulled one of the pci-e plugs that has  a removable extra two prongs and used a p6(?) > pci-e adapter. Now have five out of six blades working, none of them running all chips or at full speed. Still only running 5ghs. I'm going to try with two psu's - unless of course someone tells me that is a bad idea...

Well I'm finding that the cubes are finicky with power supplies and I know for a fact that they're finicky if you have android phones or tablets ect on the same network. Be sure not to overlook that when troubleshooting.
52  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive ASICMiner Cube Setup on: January 03, 2014, 08:06:10 PM
Anyone have any experience with these power supplies & the cubes?

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CGYCNG2/ref=pe_385040_30332190_TE_M3T1_ST1_dp_1

I had a melted/exploded fuse==now damaged unit on one cube, running 2 cubes on high off one powersupply. The other cube
will run on high but will just fall back to low.

Thanks

-J

I blew my fuses as well because the ones that came with mine were 32V.  Once I purchased 12V 30A ones I was fine.  Just my two cents, hope that helps!

Thanks for the info. The fuses all say 30 on them. I only have an issue with one cube. Has anyone been able to get a replacement controller board? The way this thing looks I'll probably need one Sad

The other cubes that I have are humming along fine (low setting)
may have to reinvest in some of those 850 corsairs to run at high though

"It is not possible to be produced in batches of 2 or 7 or 15 pcs, or it is going to be too expensive."

While this is true, why does it say  1099 Items in stock on your website ...this is what makes people think you actually have the boards, this is what made me think they are in stock.
And after all the delays ...this is obviously a lie.

I do agree with the profit compensation, although i charged back.

Happy new year...to you too.

Additionally the site should have clearly stated that orders would be produced only once a certain number of orders
were received and have some sort of metric by which the customer could make an informed decision. I feel misled/lied to as well.
I'm curious by the way what is the minimum batch number that is/was needed?
55  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: TechnoBit Eastern Europe, BG HEX16A 7 GH/s/Платки имонтаж на Авалон чип on: December 28, 2013, 03:36:37 PM
No word other than the thread update. This is ridiculous, it always the same with asic hardware orders
the world is promised up front but after the currency changes hands its delay after delay and  the customers
constantly needing to pry info from the manufacturing party. Marto I believe you guys have the best hardware
design for Avalon 1st gen chips but this technical achievement is totally offset but your inability to execute to
a schedule that you've set for yourselves. Not to forget the lackluster updates about the status of the build no matter
the problem. For example I'm sure I've received more email about new products released after my order than any
info actually pertaining to my order. Really,Wtf? And I hope that the shipping issues with speedy are sorted out
because late shipping on top of late completion of product would be totally unacceptable.

Nice work! I would have been in about this position had everything gone as planned. But this is assuming that  all 16 chips
hashing per board last I heard/read this wasn't the case or was that fixed? Ether way, Seeing that it would still be possible to achieve ROI this late
in the game is awesome. If Avalon didn't drop the ball everyone involved would have made a nice chunk of change. Hopefully some or most of the remaining hardware can be put towards a bitfury or other chip venture as I'm totally jaded by this Avalon mess.

P.S. Keep up the good work with refunds ect Steamboat!
